Basically an expanded convenience store. Theyve also got a little bit of grocery/produce. Throw in a Western Union and a Boost Mobile and youve covered most of your bases right there. They have a bunch of small electronics as well. Customer service can be hit or miss.

I wish I could rate this store a 0 of 5 stars. The owner himself was brute, rude, disrespectful and actually responded to my inquiry with the blatant and repeated use of profanity. My ordeal started when I asked if the shopping carts were allowed to be taken outside of the store as this was my first time visiting the location. He responded by saying “If you bring them back in” I found that response strange. I’ve never heard of that being the customer’s responsibility so a back and forth dialogue ensued between us. I then mentioned the prices of the items in the store were also at a higher price point than normal, to which he became upset.The store had a small 4 pack of Cottonelle toilet paper for $2.99, a single bounty hand towel for $2.99 and another brand of single hand towel for $2.49. I told him one could go to other stores and purchase larger bulk of these items for a much more reasonable rate. He also had a small bottle of aerosol Lysol, priced anywhere else for $3 or in that range for $10 in his store! His claim was he bought it for $7 and he prices everything in his store for a 30% profit margin.I have no problems with the margin of profit he institutes for his store, but I honestly do not believe he purchased that Lysol for $7. He disputed all my comments (which is fine) but took it farther when he used profanity and even further when he told me I couldn’t spell “price gouging”— I hope I spelt it right here. It’s clear he has no customer experience and just because you may be able to operate a business (for ten years as he repeated to me a number of times) doesn’t make you a good business owner. Your prices are inflated. When I confronted him about his use or profane words, he lied again by saying he hadn’t used any profanity, then he dialed it back and said “maybe I used a little bit of profanity” He didn’t know if he was coming or going with his repeated lies. I walked into the store with a bonnet on my head covering my hair, gloves covering my hands, and a mask covering my face, maybe my appearances made him think he could speak to me as he chose to without repercussions, but I’ve already contacted the Florida Attorney General’s office and filed a price gouging claim. Google is my next stop to write this review and then I’m on to the Better Business Bureau.People like this business owner need to know that customers are priority.1. They can’t inflate their prices and prey on consumers.2. They can’t speak despairingly to a paying customer and hide behind the fact that it’s their business— having a paying customer is a privilege and should be treated as such.3. Please know, I’m fully capable of amicably agreeing to disagree with anyone— this owner took it too far and I would not recommend this establishment to my worst enemy!Do not shop at Dollar City at 6969 Sunset Strip in Sunrise. The owner is curt, he’s rude, he’s disrespectful and if all that was enough to deter you- he uses unfair business practices by inflating his prices!

I went for a UPS access point for a missed deliveryI happen to notice that the had a a few cellphones and quite a bit of cellphone accessories possibly China made products or maybe counterfeit prices were not that great and small amount of your typical dollar store items
