The people there are very polite and accommodating. The service was excellent and if you own a Mercedes you can save yourself from going all the way to Columbia. After reviewing my invoice and comparing it to the MB dealer,s which had competed the same yearly maintenance last year. The price was almost half of what I paid on the prior years identical service. The tech (Eric) is very knowledgeable. Car was clean inside and I could tell they treated it as if it belonged to them.

Took my van there for a misfire problem. After having been to the Dodge dealer, and several other shops they were recommended. After a month of not finding the issue they said an engine rebuild is needed. So the they rebuilt the motor only to find out it was the insulation on the injectors falling apart and the wires touching. So a $300 repair turned into $5000. Never again will I go there.

There is a $100 diagnosis fee, paid separately from the cost of the repair. I have never paid a diagnosis fee before in any of the 5 states I have lived in with any of my cars from Ford to Audi. Then they insisted after I have given them many examples that all these shops were doing me a favor but they were doing business how it’s supposed to be done. Then tried to tell me taking my car to a dealership, even though I wouldn’t pay diagnostic fee I would pay more for services. I asked how much their services were and he said $150/hr… It took me about 20 mins to even get him to give me a ball park figure on the cost of my repair because he insisted I have to have a diagnosis (even though I already had one done elsewhere and told him my issue) I had to laugh because that’s Audi in Columbia prices. I feel their prices are so high because they are close to a military base and know they can pray on military members. If that’s your business practice, just own up to it and don’t try to tell me everyone is doing it… this isn’t my first rodeo

I gotten into a small accident and they charged my insurance $900 to fix it which wasn’t the best job.. I’ve seen better work done on my car for $250 but I digress. My issue is that prior to taking my vehicle to CC&R the only issue had to do with the steering so two weeks later I get my car back BUT the knob to TURN THE AC VENTS (floor vents, dash vents and the defrost) was broken all of a sudden. You couldn’t see what was broken from the drivers side you literally have to find the AC mechanism UNDER THE HOOD in order to fix what was broken.. they tried to tell me it would be $100 to fix something THEY BROKE.. a couple months later I get a flat and need to use my SPARE TIRE… I go inside my trunk where it should be and it’s GONE… CAR CARE AND REPAIR STOLE MY DOUGHNUT, BROKE MY AC VENT KNOB AND BARELY SERVICED MY CAR. They claimed the insurance told them to ‘put it back how it was before the accident’. In the picture below I was trying to turn it. I do not recommend these people at all.

Drove down from PA to visit an air force buddy when my check engine light came on(bad O2 sensor it turned out). I went to this garage solely because they were right across the street from where I was staying but I sure am glad I went! They were very professional, very reasonably priced, and very pleasant to deal with. They even called me a week after Id gotten the repairs done just to check if everything was OK. Ya dont get service like that much anymore! Would definitely recommend!

Did not follow up with a phone call to let you know how much the warranty would not cover for repairs. Plus over charge the cost of out a pocket and had to call the warranty group to correct their error.

My drivers side window decided to stay in the down position when a huge rain storm was predicted to come through. I called all around Sumter trying to get in before the rain came. I called Care Care & Repair and spoke with the manager Shane. He was very knowledgeable, and was able to get me in within the hour. The receptionist was very polite and helpful. When my door panel was taken apart I was even taken back and shown what the issue was as well as a break down of what they were doing. My technician was Lee and he was also very knowledgeable and spoke to me like a customer and not another car problem. I have experienced that at the dealership and other places in Sumter more than once. Within 2 1/2 hours my window was fixed and I was on my way. Shane went out of his way to call around for the best price on parts, and stayed true on his quote of labor time to complete the job. Overall a great experience and I will be conducting all of my future car care needs with them in the future. Bar none the best repair shop in Sumter. Also feature a military discount on labor costs. A++ service and know how.

I was working at Shaw Air Force Base, and on my way there my brakes went out. I love in Florida and was driving home that day. When I told them that, they dropped what they were doing, and got me out of there in 2 hours at a reasonable price. They are awesome.

Been coming here for a few years now, and have been consistently impressed by the customer service. Prices are reasonable, work is completed relatively quickly, and the people working here are friendly and knowledgeable. Multiple times, they have gone out of their way to pursue a solution that saved us money. I would highly recommend checking them out, I doubt you will be disappointed.

Ive only had to take my vehicle here once around 4 years ago. They put on my new tires and redid my spark plugs and lines. During this time, there was a family emergency that arose and I needed the truck back. They allowed me to pick up the truck and permitted me to take care of the outstanding balance once my personal tragedy had past. The employees there were very empathetic and treated me like family, I will continue to take my truck here for any mechanical repairs I need.

Had no issues with the service. The warranty is nice. Prices are reasonable. I recommend using Car Care & Repair for all automotive issues. Have taken my vehicles there for repairs several times. As long as Im in the area, I will only use them to fix my vehicles.

These guys fixed our truck quickly and were so honest. We thought we needed a new transmission. They could have taken us to the bank for a two thousand dollar transmission, but they didnt. They called to tell us it was just a sensor that cost a couple of hundred to replace. I will take my vehicles there all the time. I will recommend it to friends and family. Honesty is so important. Quality is also important. This business has both.

Over priced and do too much guess work. It could be this, it could b that, but we dont know till I charge you a arm and leg to make sure its none of those things.

First auto shop been to since arriving to South Carolina, they responded quickly over the internet and set up an appointment asap for a tire replacement. Customer service here is genuine and the shop gives the impression of a friendly local business the puts the customer first.

We had to take my rusted-out beater here two weeks after we moved here. They made us loyal customers that trip. Theyve treated us like family from day one, and I wouldnt consider taking my car anywhere else. Reasonable pricing, fast service, working to find reasonable solutions for the car.

I went to Firestone to get my A/C fixed and they quoted me $1500 to get 3 things replaced because they didn’t want to find and fix the problem, I went to this business to get a lower quote and they located the problem and quoted me $550 with excellent service.

Horrible the lady answered the phone and wasnt helpful but she was rude. She couldnt tell me how much anything would cost and all I asked was a ballpark price... she also claimed a tow truck was coming and would be there in 30 mins, 4 hours later the tow company is calling me asking where I was, 4hours later.... not to mention she added 30$ more to the tow so they would make $$$ on it, and I told her I was 3 miles from shop... do not ever take a vehicle here...

They rebuilt my transmission and it works great and I have not had any problems what so ever. Every time I go in for service they are always respectful. They go above and beyond on every thing they do.

Car Care is fantastic!! Ive had my car in several times - a Ford Explorer - for problems as well as maintenance. The price was very fair, I dont think theyre expensive at all. And the quality of work done is well worth any price! Shane and Keff are both very nice, and will contact you with any updates. More importantly, they dont get aggravated if you call them for updates! I have recommended them to anyone who asks about good, honest mechanics nearby.

I wish i would have come here for all my car needs years earlier! they are great and actually try to save you money and do whats best for your car. They hooked me up when i got O2 replacements when autozone told me i needed them but actually turned out to be a smaller problem. They dint charge for the work they did to figure that it was something smaller and were really nice about it, would absolutely recommend!

Pulled in with a terrible grinding noise, they got my truck back on the road real quick at a good price. They showed me what was wrong, explained the repairs and worked hard at staying in my budget. Super polite, best customer service, would recommend 3x and will now go out of my way to bring my truck back for future service.

I was really disappointed in the customer service. Didnt check my car timely when I told that my car wasnt starting up. They had my key on the counter. Someone couldve easily taken it. Eventually my car insurance had someone come where I was located and they found the problem and towed my car to another location. Extremely disappointed. The charge for just looking at my car was ridiculous!!

Make sure you call before you go! I went and waited about 5-10 minutes at the front desk and nobody came to see about me. It wasnt until they heard my car crank and drove off that anyone showed their face.Im sure the car service is great, but they probably should work on the customer service.

It took them over a year to fix my van by the time I got a back it was a mess. Left it parked under a pine tree with my windows down. And refuse to do anything about it. This is not a good place to get work done on your car.. my van was totally destroid inside from so much water damage..

Had it brought over thinking I blew my turbo. They found the problem which wasnt the turbo (thank God) it was actually my pcv system causing a huge vacuum leak. It costed me 700 for them replace which I thought was pretty steep for some hoses and a 8 dollar plastic pcv valve. They had my car for a month to do this which is understandable with other customers and waiting on parts etc but I asked them to keep me updated. They kept saying they would call back and keep me updated but never called, saying they keep losing my number. The only time they did call me was when a mechanic called to do a survey. I told him they did a good job fixing the pcv system but im still having a vacuum leak which was kind of the problem in the first place. He said he would let the manager know to see about taking another look at it and call me back. Of course he didnt call me back. At least they found the real problem and made it driveable I guess.

They run up your bill then after they do the work they charge you how prices went to them a couple of months ago and while they were parking my truck inside of their garage broke both of my mirrors and scraped my new paint job in return they fix my mirrors and call theirselves buffing out the scratch on my paint job and ended up making it a whole lot worse in the end the manager didnt fulfill his promise of fixing whatever problem there was and they have very nasty customer service
