The BFL in Columbia SC was the most horrible experience Ive ever had. When I arrived they had no idea I was coming. I made an appointment on line and got a conformation that I was set. Ill never go to that location again. They did nothing for me and I wasted driving 44 miles for Nothing. I Can back the next day to the one in Sumter because they were down causing me check with the one in Columbia.The service in sumter was good.

Came for a brake change on all 4... once put on the lift mechanic showed no reason for change at this moment pads and shoes still look good. Thankful for the honesty and not just trying to sell a product!! Will return for all future services just based off the honesty that was provided!!

Great customer service! Before I knew they did more than brakes, I had work done elsewhere. I stopped by just to ask a question about my car and Erving took his time to explain what was happening and how to remedy it. They have a new customer next time I need work.

I went in for an inspection today and it turned out I didn’t need brake pads. I really appreciate their honesty. Ervin and the other employee were very friendly and professional and that goes a very long way with a company. Ervin showed me all four brake pads to let me know they were fine. I used Brakes 4 Less in Columbia before and had a good experience there as well. If you need an inspection and brakes go see these guys.

I am not sure about all the positive reviews I see on here. I definitely did not have a good experience this afternoon when I brought my car in. I brought it to Brakes-4-less because I like the idea that they specialize in just brakes. But they wanted to charge me $2,400!!! It was a full brake job but there is no way it should have cost that much. I took it to B&C Automotive for a second opinion and they told me it would cost $200-400, probably $200.These guys really have some audacity to have overcharged so much. I will never go here again.

I was travelling out of state and happened to need replacement of a stuck caliper. Courteous staff (no sarcasm) inspected my vehicle and told me I needed 4 new calipers, 2 new rotors, 2 rotors machined, and pads all the way around. I typically perform my own maintenance and am familiar with braking systems so I knew his diagnosis was BS. Especially since I had replaced the front rotors and pads

Two months after getting my rotors and brakes replaced on a trip to Texas my brakes starting squealing again. I came to Brakes 4 Less and had work done on all 4 brake systems and paid less than what I paid for 2 brakes. Plus I have a warranty thatll outlast my truck. I appreciate it fellas.

Tried to get me to kick out $500+. Told me my rear rotors were bad when they were good. Told me i did not have any brake pads on one rear rotor. All this was a lie when i let my mechanic check it. Nobody has time to spend unnecessary money when they dont have to. Sign cleary says free brake check dont know why i was told i would have to pay for them to tell me what was wrong. Worst place I ever went to. I wouldnt personally recommend anyone.

I went to the Sumter location just to see Ervin (well I came for a brake inspection also). He serviced my car at the Irmo location and he was very professional, polite, knowledgeable, and straight to the point. Hes also not bad to look at lol. Hes a sweetheart. But anywho, I later saw Ervin again while doing some shopping and he told me that he switched stores, is now Manager, and he gave me his business card which also granted me 10% off my next service (Yes plz and thank you). I went to the new store in Sumter. Its in a good location and Ervin is still great and so is his associate. Service was fast and professional. I havent had any more issues with my car since service. Thank you Ervin. Youre the BEST! Will be back to see him soon, even if I dont need any car service 😉 I recommend Brakes 4 Less, nowhere else, for best price for brakes and faster service than other places.

Needed to know if they could do a brake job on a range Rover. They can!!!!

I paid fo best service they had available, then months later my brakes sound funny, went there to get them to check them and they assured me it was nothing dealing with the brakes. Ok about w months after that my brakes sound like they going to give out any moment, so i went back on a prayer and upset, even though it was under new management i still had to fight for service. It was not until a worker in the bay showed the current manager the brake damage that i got service. The manager kept apologizing but that my life and family life i put in their hands. Even though its a lifetime warranty, ill take my chances elsewhere. Your experience maybe different try them out for yourself.
