I had a meeting to go to and they would need to keep my car for a little longer, so Philip the owner gave me a loner to drive to my meeting and when I returned my vehicle was ready! This business is GREAT to work with. Recently we have had them fix a cpl major items in our 2004 Toyota Tacoma. First time customer but I will be back. Very impressed with their level of service. Needed front wheel hub bearings installed on my Equinox. I already had the parts. They said no problem, plus their shop rate was very fair and actually came in on the low end. They got the job done ahead of schedule - that same afternoon. Car sounds great. The shop actually called a day or so later to follow up and see how things were going. Hows that for customer service? Dont let the Tire part make you think its just a tire shop, cause they do a lot more - brakes, front end work, and more.

One of the most honest auto services Ive ever been to! The staff is so friendly and kind, from the front desk to the mechanics. I went to Palmetto Tire because I heard a clunking noise coming from what I thought was the suspension. Turned out my rear bumper was just loose, and the mechanics recommended some body shops. I didnt spend a dime for the diagnosis, but I wanted to write this review. I have been ripped off before at other auto shops. For anyone who has shared the frustrating experience of dishonest and money hungry auto shops, I want to assure you that Palmetto is not one of those places!! Palmetto Tire is HONEST, and they are my new go-to place for all my tire and auto needs.

Had four new tires put on, and can honestly say, this place is amazing. The staff are professional and ready to assist. I like that they are willing to work with the customer in getting what needs to be done, done. Highly recommend this business if you are in need of tires, or tire repair.

I called ahead of time and went there when I was told to and it took 2¹/² hours to get an oil change. After I waited 2 hours i was going to leave but then they told me my car was already in the back getting worked on....30 mins later i was able to leave. I would have rated it 1 star but the man at the front desk was very pleasant.

I use palmetto tire for my company and personal work vehicles and they have always done great work. There have even been times when something wasn’t done exactly the way I expected it, and they are always willing to go above and beyond for the customer and make things right. Blew a tire at 4:30 pm.... you know, peak busiest time at car repair shops. Curt repaired it faster than I could get this review in. Great service. Will definitely use in the future just based off this first experience.

I had a tire that had a knot in the side wall making it unsafe to drive but my wife had to travel the next day. Cissy did an excellent job of getting the replacement tire and having it installed early the next day. Cissy even went out if her way to try and get us some sort of cost reduction from the manufacturer since the tire was only a year old but the knot was caused by impact and not a defect. Highly recommend Palmetto tire.

Terrible customer service!Here to get tires rotated and tire pressure sensor replaced. My display says it is front left. They said it is rear left.I told them I bought the tires here and expect the sensor and truck be programmed to recognize the correct location. Was told that is extra service fee and labor. Other place did not charge extra to reprogram sensors when I bought tires. Used a small handheld gadget and did it within 5 minutes.I’ll not buy here again. Been here two hours to have tires rotated and sensor replaced. Took my truck back 1 and a half hours ago. Ridiculous.Update 24 June 2019.Reminded today why I strongly dislike this business.Alignment? Not! Tired still wearing wrong.

Based on my personal dealings with Palmetto Tire and Auto, this business represents the worst kind of customer service: predatory, opportunistic, and unprofessional. Honesty is a sure sign of professionalism and trustworthiness. I do not respect, trust or recommend businesses that you pay a service for and the service rendered is well below what you paid for. I believe this business did not deal with me in an honest manner.My vehicle was delivered to Palmetto Tire and Auto for a diagnostic and we were informed that the repairs would take about 4 or 5 days and cost approximately $1,200.00. The repairs, in fact, took an additional week, which was fine with me since I simply wanted the issues they diagnosed to be fixed, and they were apologetic – I’m extremely patient. However, after one week, the check-engine light came on and original issues seem to rematerialize. After delivering my vehicle to this business a second time, I was informed that a second diagnosis revealed a totally different and significant problem (somehow not detected previously). I was told by Technician #2 that because I spoke to a different technician initially that he, Technician #2, could not say why the original problem wasn’t detected. Finally, I was told before I departed by the manager that since they didn’t have a crystal ball, certain future problems could only be detected upon completion of initial repairs. If problems related to the original visit arises seven days later, then that statement makes no sense and shows the degree of dishonesty I feel was shown to me.In retrospect, I ignored my instinct when I first entered the business two weeks ago when I personally witnessed a customer being surprised by a repair bill that was significantly higher than he was quoted. I also witnessed a woman clearly unhappy with the customer service she received; she appeared to just want to leave. I foolishly thought that because they asked me if I was military that they would do their utmost to take care of an Active Duty servicemember. My advice, if you are assigned to Shaw AFB, STEER CLEAR OF THIS PLACE!

Tech strait lied to me asked for alignment specs for before and after of my 4runner tech told me everything was in spec with 3.5 caster. After 2 weeks of driving I took my 4runner to another alignment shop to get the 4runner alignment checked. I had 1 degree of caster. I wish they would of told me the truth when they aligned my car. If I new the real spec i would have bought new UCA to get the suv in spec. Instead i wasted money to find out the car was out of spec. Also my driver side tie rod end is now leaking grease.Edit: management contacted me and all issues resolved.
