Ok, I made 3 appointments, they kept getting me to reschedule. It was extremely frustrating.I imagine this is due to the lack of employees.I was lied to on many occasions. Finally dropped my car off for the third time at 8:30 in the morningI arrived at 5:15 pm and I was told they were almost done. When I called earlier to check up I was told it was in the garage being serviced. I drove by 3 times that day. My car was never moved. It was still parked in the grass.I waited in the family waiting area and watched as they scrambled to get my car in. Finally I was told they will need to keep the car overnight. Absolutely unacceptable. I work in law enforcement and I am active in our local rotary club. I am unable to leave my car overnight. This is why I made 3 appointments.I frequently used them at the old facility and never had issues.I would not recommend this repair shop to anyone on a time crunch. Maybe for a project. I still question their honesty, the older gentleman upfront seems to give everyone the same run around on the phone.I ended up paying over 100 dollars for an inspection and took my car to a reputable shop on 15 south.Car was repaired In under 1 hour and only cost me 65 dollars.The building is very exquisite, I do imagine that they will be expensive.Do yourself a favor and skip this one.

B&C Auto has done thousands of dollars worth of maintenance on my 2007 Ford Edge. I couldnt be happier with their professionalism and handywork. I avoid going to other places in town (certain dealerships) and Im gad B&C is here with quality people/fair prices. To give a brief run down, theyve done my water pump, timing chain, oil/transmission service and even got me a good deal on tires! Thanks for all you do and keep it up!

Scheduled an appt over a week ago for an estimate on services for my car for this morning (Apr. 28th, 2021). I arrive early, only to be told upon opening that not only would they not be able to perform the service, but to call back in 2 weeks!!! No other clarity given.So...this is CLEARLY something that was known prior to me wasting time, effort, and gas. Its bad business to not call people and give them a heads up, then jsut tell them when they show up oh, we cant do it. This wasnt a spur of the moment delay.I wont be going back. Ill take my money elsewhere.

Always great service. They are quick and accommodating and trustworthy. When another shop was trying to quote a friend thousands in repairs I sent her here and they went step by step explaining what did and didnt need done. They dont treat you like an idiot and there is never a surprise when you get the bill.

Went to get an oil on the 26th of March. I was told they were booked. This was OK. I understood. I made an appointment for the next Friday, on April 2. I showed up to get told that they would not be able to get me in. So I came back on April 9th and they said they could get it done by noon and gave me about 10 dollars off. I try to call about the status around noon. No answer on the phone. So I went to the shop to find that my vehicle was not done. So they hurried to do it. As I am waiting, another person that dropped off their vehicle the same time as I did, had their vehicle done already..... I would have given them 2 stars but they did try to compensate, so I gave them 3.

This group of guys and gals are awesome! Very thorough, they warranty all their work, brand new and state of the art facility. Major work done on my 2012 Audi A7 and they took care of everything top notch. Highly recommend them. No negative criticism on my end. The only recommendation I have is a courtesy car for their customers to use if they have to keep your vehicle for a few days if you don’t have another mode of transportation, just something cheap not super fancy that gets you from point A to B is all. Obviously dealerships can just give you a car to use but if you don’t want to pay dealership prices this is the place to go! Brand new! A courtesy car is all that is needed and this place is perfect, I’m sure that’ll be coming soon though! :)

Very friendly Staff, they changed my oil and ensured my towing equipment was torqued correctly and ready to haul a heavy load. Place may look like just an auto part warehouse but they do fix and do maintenance on vehicles, sell tires, etc. Would recommend stopping by if you have any car questions. Larry is a great guy.

I know that some people say that a car is their livelihood, however being a rural carrier for the post office means this couldnt be more true for me. Last week my car started having issues. I took it to another place in town that basically got me in and out as quickly as possible. Not only did they not really look at it, but they failed to see the real issue and had overpriced services. I decided to get an oil change at B&C Auto Pros. Not only are they extremely personable, but they actually looked at the car and and determined the problem was a cracked radiator. Being as I had to work the next day, and needed my car to do so, I began to stress as this is my only means of transportation. They never once tried to feed me any lines and actually rushed and it replaced in the same day. I highly recommend them for everyone and they now have a lifelong customer. Please dont waste your time trying to find a shop to take care of your car and go to B&C Auto Pros!!!!

Their new building is phenomenal for Sumter. Their staff is chatty and friendly. My biggest issue is that they changed my spark plugs when Im pretty sure the ones that they had changed a year and a half ago (at their older building) were still perfectly fine. Very suspicious I unnecessarily paid them $370 to do that even though I mentioned I thought I had recently had them changed and he said they would only change them if they hadnt been changed ever (vehicle is a 2012). They told me the spark plugs got fouled up due to the same issue that was causing my RPMs to jump around and fouled up my throttle body; he said that due to the flooding around this area, the water gets mixed in with the fuel we get from the gas stations and messes up our cars.Another issue I had is that ultimately I paid them $441 to recharge my AC twice to find the leak and replace a valve; just feeling like Im getting ripped off here. Also, every time I brought the vehicle in, it took a week+ to get it back and they did not provide updates when it went past the day they told me it would be ready. I would give them an extra day past what they said, then call for an update and repeated that cycle 3 times with them.Gonna look for a new mechanic shop.

A year ago I had rated B & C five stars. Not sure what happened with but the staff seems to be constantly changing. I use to really enjoy the customer service prompting me to continue supporting this local business. I had to call them 5 times/left a voicemail with no returned call in a weeks period. I finally reached someone on my 7th call and they assured me theyd call me back with a price/what they found out for a brake/rotor change and flush. You guessed I had to call back the following day to find out the price because they never called back. I made an appointment to drop my truck off for the work at our scheduled time and nobody was there and the door was locked? Horrible customer service, they need Larry back.

This place not only care about your car, they get to know the person who owns it too. If something isnt right, be sure to talk with them and they will do their best to fix whatever the problem is. I know from experience.
