This shop used to be amazing. But ever since they moved to the new building I have had nothing but problems. I have been trying for over a year to get them to deal with seat belts they did not install properly and turns out never should have been installed in my car originally. they said they were going to take care of it there wouldnt be a charge and now a year later theyre telling me its my fault and I have to pay. I have had to fight to get phone calls returned I have had to call multiple times I have been down to the shop five times and I cant seem to get anything done. They had my car for two full days originally and I still got it back not fixed and the seat belts locked up. My car was disgusting and beat up when it was returned and a cover to the seat belt was missing. Ive tried to handle this with the shop Ive tried to be patient and understanding but I am past patience and understanding. If youve used the shop in the past I recommend going a different route because they are not the same shop and you will not get good service.

Good work! Had rails added to the truck, got to pick whichever ones we wanted, took a few days to come in and they put them on. Beat to just drop your car off for the day. Feiendly and welcoming staff though! Nice place inside

Highly recommend! I just stopped by and they quickly looked at my car and told me to bring it in the next morning. My 20+ year old car had a rusted tail pipe. They checked the muffler and said it was fine, replaced the rusty part of tail pipe and I was on my way. They were very fair and through. I was pleased with the time they took to show and explain my cars issues.

I have a modified charger that Erik has been helping me with. Ive had some exhaust modifications, a couple end link changes, drive shaft change, and a few other small things I cant do as a disabled veteran. Hes been beyond helpful with any questions and concerns. I have a hard time trusting anyone, I guess thats a military ptsd thing but he has never steered me wrong. Every time I get something done I cant do, I call them up, they set up a day and we get it knocked out. We talk a bit about old cars and he gets the job done right the first time. Not to mention the new front desk lady as I call her lol is always helpful and makes sure Im good to go too. All down to earth, professional, and will make sure you are good to go.

Always makes us wait up to a week to fix ANYTHING and I was out of a car for 2 weeks due to them ordering the wrong parts on my vehicle. On my boyfriends they ruined a part on the vehicle and have been giving us the run around for another 3 weeks to try get it fixed. They asked us to pay for labor on the part that THEY ruined.

I was traveling through Sumter when my truck overheated. The guys at B&C were very good at resolving my issues and getting me on my way. They were very professional and courteous....thanks guys!!

I went by B & C this morning about 11 and talked with Eric about my noise problem. He told me I could leave the car and he would get it on a lift so an accurate estimate could be done. He called within an hour with the price and I gave him the go ahead. The repair was done before 3 and when I went by to pick up the car he had left it on the lift so I could see what had been done. While the repair was a little more than I had hoped to pay I was very satisfied with what had been done and the way it was completed. While I hope I dont have to test him on it, he told me they guarantee their labor and parts for 2 years.....cant ask for more than that.

Never got to test the quality of the shop, because they weren’t given a chance to work on my vehicle. I was told to be in by 2:30 to have a service done. I was there at 2:30. Waited 40 minutes with no updates. Decided to leave. If they didn’t have time to perform a service on time they should have just been honest and straight forward. Instead they decided to waste my time.

Im a mechanical shop owner myself. Needed some exhaust work and my shop doesnt have the machines for such. Always a little risky trusting other shops simply because we all know how some technicians can be. Eric was friendly and helpful and Frankie really stepped up to the plate and delivered a solid service job with no mistakes.

B&C has worked on my family’s cars for years. Larry has always been fair on prices and work; I don’t know much about vehicles, and whenever I’ve needed work on my car, he’s given me all the options and their respective prices, and why the work needs done. I recommend him to anyone new in town and/or new to vehicles.

Larry started out polite until I gave him my vehicle. Then he became a swindler. He couldnt keep our price agreement. He seems to choose selected customers to raise prices on, I wish I wouldve read some reviews before I decided to give him my business.

Larry was a great help. He reassured me and my husband he would take care of our car and he did just that. He goes above and beyond for his customers and give amazing customer service. I would highly recommend him to everyone.

Wonderful experience here. They repaired my vehicle and also helped look over some other repairs needed. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. I discovered B and C after getting price gouged by another shop in town. Larry and his team are fantastic. Excellent service, honest work and fair prices. Because of this they are usually very busy but theyre worth it. When a local shop calls a week after working on your vehicle to find out if everything is working OK and if youre happy, you have to be impressed. Who does that? B and C does.

My go to for service! I went here as a recommendation from a co-worker and use them as my routine service provider ever since. The staff and owner are very friendly. I felt secure that I was being charged fairly for the repairs of my vehicle. The turn around time has been great. I just wish they were open on weekends. The owner tries his best to communicate openly with me, meet my needs and be affordable within my budget. Thumbs up from me!

Brought my truck in for a quote on a new muffler. My truck was the first on the lift, same day install. Price came in under the dealers quote too. Overall positive experience. They are setting up a new shop close to Shaw AFB as well.

The guy that helped me was awesome. I live in Augusta and was buying a car in Sumter and really needed a mechanic to check it over. Larry was more than helpful and gave me his honest opinion. I highly recommend this place. Very honest good people and great prices.

I took my car there for years and have referred people here but this last time I referred my best friend to take his BMW there and they keep his car two weeks before looking at it then another week to say bye needed a new engine when all he wanted was for them to put on an oil pump for which he already had the part. There was minimal communication as to what was going on with this vehicle amd then they quite him over 3k. I am very disappointed as to how my friend was treated and a place I once respected has lost it and any of my future business. Your only as good as your word and I told my friend oh Larry and them will be fair well my friend wasnt even listened to as to what he wanted and therefore made him question my judgement in a mechanic. So I will not be referring anyone else there and will take my vehicles elsewhere there is no excuse for towing a car to your shop letting it sit for 2 weeks with no communication or feedback and to where the customer has to keep calling then keeping it another week to say oh you need an engine its over 3k thats not why he brought the car there at all. Im so disappointed its not the first time Ive had bad feedback either what happened to the small town helpful guys guess its not as much about the customer anymore.

Went in to get a quote and they wanted $380. Said it was going to be 4 hours of labor to remove and replace exhaust. Ya it’s a diesel. But hour max. Simple straight pipe install. Would not recommend if you want to get overcharged.

Just left B&C Automotive with some things done to my mustang and yet I’m pleased as always, with the quality of work and workers here.

The staff here is amazing. Our only car just wouldnt start the other morning and I went into panic mode. Larry handled my panic so well and worked with me to get my car fixed that day even though I had two kids and couldnt be there to drop the car off. When my husband picked the car up they explained in detail to him what the issue was and how they fixed it. We are both so happy with the experience and now have a go to shop in the area. When I got the call with what was wrong and how much it would be to fix it Larry said I dont want all your money I want all your work. Well they will have all our work for sure!

I had been handling the repairs on my grandparents car for a little over a year with them and then bought a used car and had them look over it. All of the work that I was told has been done, and the issues I was told had been fixed were not and I had to bring it somewhere else to have it looked at. Not worth your time. Since the new shop opened things have gone downhill bc management can’t handle it all and they can’t find decent techs or actual mechanics to keep up.

Failed to keep his word. Took 4× as long as promised. Definitely over charged, for mediocre service.

Dont know about there service, but they are definitely friendly and helpful. My wife pulled in there having an asthma attack while driving and they came right out to help until I got there. If I need something done to our vehicles, this will be my first stop. Thank you again!

My experience here was horrible, went to have my cat weled back in after header install, not even a day later the cheap flex pipe that they welded in broke, which literally ALMOST CAUGHT MY CAR ON FIRE. So I decided to bring it back to have them fix what should have been done right the first time. Keeping in my i already paid $208i. They wanted to charge me and additional $80 to fix what should have been done right the first time. Your best bet is to spend the extra money and drive to Camden to place called brad muffler shop, which have people that know what there doing.

My son’s car broke down on the way back to college.I checked online to find a nearby garage because I wasn’t familiar with the area. B and C Automotive stood out because of the good reviews.
