Extremely disappointing experience as this business was highly recommended by another auto professional.I called and spoke with Jennifer who seemed very professional and friendly. I was asking for a repair estimate and hopefully slotted in for repair. She told me she would check with the mechanic who was busy at the time and would call me back by business close. That is certainly understandable, however when I had not heard back by the next afternoon I called again. She promised to call me back within 15 minutes. I rescheduled an appointment in order to be available to take her call without interruption. I’m still waiting for that call. Not cool!I’m guessing they are too busy to take on new customers and I would understand that. They should be up front and say as much.I seriously doubt that I will call again. I find this to be disrespectful of my time. If you treat a potential customer like this how will I be treated as a customer? Hard pass.

What type of a business doesn’t call people back? I called you over a week ago and gave a woman my name and number because she said she’d call back... and I called yesterday and left a message stating that I’m still awaiting your call and you still haven’t called back. All I need is a belt replaced. I’d do it myself if I had the tools. It’s not like I need you to take apart the engine and rebuild it.

Took my sisters car, tried to rip her off. All it needed was a clock spring behind the steering wheel. First said they overnight her a part 5 days later no part. Then told her it had a bad starter and that it was blowing fuses, I had it towed to benz dealership they found nothing wrong with starter or fuses at all. Now that its at the dealership it has Traction control lights on. German auto still charged her $110...to make the situation with the car worse.Bad business.

I called every shop, whether it was a professional shop or a mom and pops shop. These guys were the cheapest and most reliable. Its tucked away behind the Title Loan shop and they are just a small shop.Ive taken my Passats and Jettas here for most of my issues and everytime, if it were a simple fix, they would just tell you instead of waiting your money and their reputation.Beware of parking :-p its a bit tricky.

We brought our Mercedes for a quote for over $3,000 in repairs. After our visit we were to get a call on times. We never received a call and we tried for 3 times to call and never got a call back. We gave up and found another repair place. We tried to use Summerville vendors.

This place shouldnt be called German Auto Repair. I took my Audi there because of a sound in the engine. They charged me $100 to put oil treatment in the engine, told me to drive it for a few and come back to see if that helped the sound. I drove it for under a week and the sound came back and the engine light came back on, I called and they said take it to someone who works on your car. So in other words you knew there was something wrong but you dont know what youre talking about so you wanted to get $100 out of me. I wouldnt take my bike here to be worked on.
