I took a friend of mines Ford Escape there to get worked on because the vehicle wouldnt start and I had him looks at the brakes because the car wasnt stopping as well as it should have. I spoke with Kenny and explained to him all that was happening to the vehicle. He was able to get the vehicle up and running in a quick matter and was able to inspect the brakes. He cleaned the brakes off and the car was able to stop better than it did! I HIGHLY recommend Morrison Automotive! PROFESSIONAL AND HONEST WORK!! ID GIVE HIM 10 STARS IF I COULD

I’m going to WOW you guys with this. I brought my vehicle to this shop and was told I needed close to 2500.00 in work done to my air conditioning, granted I own a heating and air company I don’t know much about car air conditioning. I was told the resister needs replacement which I could understand, I was told I need a new wire harness because the connector was so burnt it needed replacement, also that the blower motor needed replacement nexus it’s pulling high amps come to find the cabin filter is clogged that will cause the blower to run harder causing high current. WOW. Long story short I brought the vehicle back home because now I have some general knowledge of what’s going on pulled everything apart to find now the connector is unplugged possibly so it doesn’t cause further damage. I did take I upon myself to replace the blower resister repair the wiring connector everything cranked up and is running fine. The last WOW is when I called to let the counter guy know of my findings I didn’t get an apology for the diagnosis I was given the I let him know it working now with only a new 60.00 resister this guys says GOOD WOW, WOW, WOW unbelievable. Moral of the story deal with trustworthy shops to work on your vehicle or you will get screwed. Look at the work order they couldn’t even get my name spelled correctly WOW. 125.00 down the drain. WOW.

Kenny finally got my husband and my 1970 Mach 1 Mustangs running like a top. After multiple attempts from other mechanics, who made them run even worst. Kenny fixed them, we are so fortunate to find him!

We brought our hotshot business 3500 dually and car trailer in for Federal DOT inspection that is required to run our business. Both truck and trailer was inspected and given a pass inspection. My husband went out and had no trailer brakes at all and was unable to stop his truck. This incompetence and lack of doing a job correctly could have cost him his life and our company could have been shut down due to falsified a Federal DOT inspection. We brought the truck back and he wanted to charge us 550 for electrical work that should have been done on inital inspection that we paid over 800 for. Had our truck for 4 business day and didnt inform us that both batteries in our 2019 RAM just happen to go dead in their possession. Nothing was wrong when I dropped it off. And he wanted to charge to replace something that they did when trying to get the brakes to work on our trailer. The only excuse Kenny (owner) gave was he is short handed and dont check behind his employees. I would not recommend this company to anyone if they value their life. I feel that the owner Kenny is very incompetent and a unprofessional person who tried to down play the situation by lower a bill. I will be reporting this company to the FMCSA for falsification of DOT inspection.

Very experienced mechanic and customer service very friendly and very clean place

We have had issues with a misfire in the engine. Morrisons was honest and truly got down to the problem. We were told we needed a total engine rebuild from another place. Thank goodness we didnt listen and instead brought it to Morrisons. Thank you for all of your help. Very reasonable and trustworthy.

Had a faulty battery that was causing my engine to misfire and my check engine light to flash. Texted the business regarding my car issues on Christmas Day, and the owner responded promptly. Made plans to bring my car in the next Monday. After a diagnostic test, it was determined that my battery was faulty. My battery was 4 years old, as they determined. They recommended a new battery and I agreed. I was in and out of there in a few hours, from start to finish. Great staff and great owner. Thank you to Kenneth Morrison and to his staff! Best mechanics in town. Low prices and quality service all around.

First visit I just got an oil change, quick service, all good. Second time I asked for a quote on my power steering hose. It was a 70 or 80 dollar diagnostic fee, which is a lot as well as $17 dollars for some power steering fluid which can be bought for about $2 related to how much they put in the car. I am not saying this place is horrible, I would just do research if you want to save money. Quoted around $1k for my rear axle seal, went to NTB and they quoted $394. Quoted a lot for the power steering hose, I think around 600-700, got it done for 200 at Auto Repair Experts in Goose Creek. They were exceptionally nice at Auto Repair Experts and walked me through my FREE diagnosis, showing that I had some fluid leaking from my radiator and my brakes were in terrible condition. Overall I am sure this place does good work, but you will pay for it. I understand margins and theirs are gigantic without as good of customer service as Auto Repair Experts.

Ive taken my companys work trucks here for Service for years & always been pleased so I trusted Kenny with my beloved classic 1972 Corvette.....just completed $5,700 Upgrade....transmission seals, brakes, new tires, plugs & distributor, valve cover gasket, new fuel pump. Kenny called every couple weeks with Updates & to get Approval....did everything promised.

Ill start by saying Im very particular on who I let work on my truck. Having said that I did a lot of research on who to let align my 1988 Chevy S10. After doing a bit of searching I found Morrison Automotive and Truck. I saw they were highly rated and based on what I could tell have a well maintained shop and professional atmosphere. I went ahead and scheduled an appointment over the phone. I was fortunate to get a same day appointment and from the moment I called until the moment I was handed back my keys after my truck was done being serviced I was nothing short of completely satisfied. The staff conveyed their appreciation for my business and made me feel welcome. The technicians were professional and did a great job getting my truck aligned and driving great. My husband and I went to multiple automotive shops in Summerville. The dealers are too expensive and the chain shops more than once tried to sell us unnecessary services. A friend recommended Morrison Automotive to us a few years ago. Every time we have an issue with one of our vehicles they are very professional, kind and honest. They always get our vehicles in and fix them quickly. Most importantly once its done, the issue is resolved. No continually taking it back in to revisit the same issues. The best part is that Kenny, the owner, personally texts us after each visit to ensure our vehicle is running well and that we are pleased with the service. Went in with a fuel leak. I New it was going to cost a good bit. Thing is, I know how parts and labor works in the auto wold. These folks were clear and straight up with me. The personality there is great and very polite. If you are going to spend any money to have your vehicle repaired this will be the right place by far. Might as well have good conversation if you have trouble with your auto. Just a pleasant experience for me being out of town and needing help. HELP is the key word here. I came for help and got it.

I have dealt with this shop on a few occasions and find them to be amazing to deal with and very fair on price. I take a 2010 Honda Civic and 2004 Jeep Grand Cherokee to them and they have been able to beat any service cost and accurate diagnose everything so far I have brought them. They have even let me know operator error on oil leak which I thought was a 900 dollar rear main replacement job. It was a 50 dollar not tight oil filter. These guys will shot it to you straight and they will get my business in the future. I highly recommend giving them a shot.

I have been bringing my vehicles there for almost 10 years now. Several times I thought there was major things wrong with the car and they told me it was something small. Ive been using Morrison Automotive for more than two years, and found their service to be too notch. Ive only had one problem with a non-OEM part that failed after 9-10 months, but they covered under warranty.I would recommend that any foreign or domestic vehicle owner give them a call for service or repair. Pros: Good customer service - professional and informative. They are thorough and I never had any problems with the work they did for me.Cons: Ive used them 2x and they were much higher than their competitors each time. I used them because I had an urgent need and they are close to my home. Otherwise, I woild have gone to Geralds. Also, their hours of operation are restrictive - no Saturday service which is difficult if you work a regular shift. Again, service is professional - it could have been a little more personable.

I had a minor exhaust problem spring up on me today. I called around to exhaust shops near me and ended up choosing this one. Their shop is very clean and there is a very nice air conditioned waiting room. They had me in and out in a timely manner and it was inexpensive. The staff is nice and it seems like they have a lot of experience. I will be using this shop for any further exhaust needs.

Always great service. We have had several emergency issues with our vehicles. Kenny always responds quick and repairs done just as fast at a fair price. Always a clean waiting area and bathrooms.

Cleanest car shop Ive ever been to. Tammy is super nice and will answer your constant calls asking if your wifes minivan is done yet. Its going to take a while because they had to order parts that dont usually break, but you tried to change that pesky timing belt in your garage and royally messed things up so here we are.

Brought truck in to replace leaking fuel injection pump, truck was running fine just leaking fuel. Get it back with no fuel leak, but had air getting in the fuel.system.They had to remove the filter housing off the intake manifold to remove the intake.Its three lines coming off the housing, I feel like one of those lines was disturb during the removal, and was not checked when it was reinstalled. Morrison didn’t offer to look at it without additional charges. Warrenty on work done is like use toilet tissue, it stinks.

My experience at Morrison automotive at first was good.. Nice environment nice people for the most part and a new building. Soon after I left my car I waited for two hours, keep in mind they were only checking a headlight after me calling them to get my results that they apparently had for sometime they informed me that I needed a headlight module and the cost for them telling me that information was $100. The total cost of the work being done to my headlight would of been $1250. They are great at making people believe them. Please choose yourself another automotive for car repairs Morrison automotive will charge you way too much.u

I had my 2015 Wrangler lift kit and tires installed on a very short notice around Christmas by these guys. I had to return for them to replace a bolt that fell out while I was going down 26 but I chalked that up to my luck and decided to remain loyal since they installed my lift kit on suck a short notice. So when I needed new brakes and my transmission fluid changed I returned. My bill for just my rear brakes, rotors and transmission fluid was over 850 dollars(excessively high). I make a habit to make sure the work has been done so I checked my transmission pan and saw that it had not been touched. I called the shop and was trying to calmly explain what I saw to Timmy when I realized he hung up. 15 mins later Tammy calls me back to tell me they forgot about it and would mail me a refund. They mailed me a $250 check but I still have squeaky brakes, same transmission fluid, and $600 short. I spoke with the owner Mr. Kenny and He was very nice to listen to my complaints but I still recommend to anyone considering this place to steer clear. OVER CHARGING FOR SUB PAR WORK.

I had the driveshaft for my 07 F150 replaced 3/19/18. The job required some welding, which I am unable to do as I dont own a welder. Morrison not only did the work in one day, the welds look great. I would also add I noticed how very clean their shop was when I picked up my truck. I wouldnt hesitate to return in the future. Thank you Kenny, and your team.

Its hard to find a good honest mechanic (I know my family are all auto mechanics)... We bring our cars all the way from Daniel Island simply because we want it done right. I read one review referring to the prices being a bit higher. They seemed reasonable to me but even if so you get what you pay for and Morrisons is the best. We even received text messages from the owner with updates on our vehicles progress. Thats unheard of. TThes people really care about the satisfaction of their customers and it shows.

If I could give a negative review on this business, I surely would! I took my vehicle there and was verbally quoted (FIRST MISTAKE) by the owner, a price to replace a part and program it. I was told by the owner that they were unable to program it due to another issue with the car. I was informed that there would be a $50.00 diagnostic fee if I would like them to check to see what that other issue was. I agreed. My husband called and was told the same thing by the front clerk, Tammy. When I received the call from the owner advising of what the tech found he gave me a total of what was due at that time after the diagnositc fee was added. I questioned the amount because I was quoted, by him, on 3 occasions that the diagnostic fee was $50.00. My husband and I went to pick up the car. Paid them the $300.00. My husband questioned Tammy as to why we were charged for install and programming when they stated they could not program the part. She replied with oh it was programmed but it would not relearn. She proceeded to tell us that WE misunderstood somewhere because they quoted us $100.00 diagnostic fee. THIS WAS A BOLD FACE LIE! The owner was there and never included himself into the conversation. They quoted me an additional $1,200.00 to do the work on the issue they say is causing my current problems. We did not allow them to do this work because when the owner called me to tell me what the problem was, he started off by telling me it was one thing and when I commented it was a pretty low cost job, he replied with oh no actually you need to replace your front converter. I wouldnt trust these people. They obviously did not stand by their verbal quote which to me, translates to they wont stand by their word or their work. I have reported this company to the BBB. Buyer beware!*****RESPONSE TO OWNER******First of all, YES, I did post to other sites because I can. Second of all, my name appears different because the BBB chose my name to use because they do not use last names. As you can see, I have used my full name here because I have absolutely NOTHING to hide!Just for your information Mr. M***, I was told by Tim ( I apologize for stating he was the owner-that was my error) that the diagnostic fee was $50.00 on each occasion that we spoke. I quoted that back to him 3 times during our conversations. He said the diagnostic fee was $50.00 and that the electrical diagnostic fee was $100.00. I confirmed with him that the electrical diagnositc was not what I needed. THAT is what HE told me first hand. Your guy NEVER told me my converter was clogged and may have caused further damage. His words, as per my notes I took as WE spoke, were possible restricted exhaust and bad O2 sensor could be the cause. Then he changed it up and said I need a new front converter at the rate of $1,200.00. I was NEVER informed that the crank relearn was successful. In fact, your clerk Tammy advised my husband and me at your shop that the relearn was unsuccessful. So which is it? It sounds like your staff has a serious issue with proper communication. I had no problem paying for the work I requested. I had no problem paying for a $50.00 diagnostic fee which was quoted from your guy Tim to ME. I would have had no problem paying the full QUOTED price to have the work done by your mechanics when I was able to schedule it. We actually planned to bring my husbands truck in for a/c repair with you. My problem came into play when I was expected to pay a bill higher than what I was quoted. If your standard diagnostic fee is $100.00, I suggest you have a staff meeting and be sure they all are aware of your billing schedule. Another great idea would be to email your customers a quote so that everything is in writing on both ends for verification. Automotive issues are irritating enough and do not need to be exacerbated by poor communication with the customers mechanic. It is events such as these that have caused mechanics to have the bad reputation they have now.

I feel Kenny is the best Diagnostician for automobiles in Summerville SC. I dont feel he takes advantage of his customers.

Took an astro van in because of a noise in the brakes left it with them for an estimate. I received a call 20 minutes later quoting me 500 dollars, I obviously declined the wrk and said Id come pick it up, so about 30minutes goes by and Kenny calls wondering why I declined and tried to talk me into the job I again declined. Took my van the next day to Hill Tire in Moncks corner, turns out I had picked up a stick and thats what I had been hearing. Furthermore my pads were only about half worn, I drive the van 4 more months then took it to Hill Tire and had breaks fixed for 170. Needless to say Morrisons will never get a dollar from me. Its been awhile and Ive only decided to post this negative review now because theyre at it again this time with a shop vehicle I use being diagnosed with a non existent problem. If you dont mind being gouged this is your shop.

Kenny Morrison is a SCAM ARTIST. DO NOT BRING YOUR CAR HERE!! Got quoted 250 to fix one exhaust pipe at manifold. Went back up there and paid them to get my car back. Now my jetta smokes from motor. Went up there to have a talk with owner about it only to notice how childish he acted toward me and as Im walking away leaving because I realized he scammed me I notice hes flicking me off because I told him i will be taking him to small claims court. UNPROFESSIONAL RIPOFF! TRIED TO START A FIGHT WITH ME. I as an adult decided it would be best not to embarrass him.

Being a car guy myself its tricky to just hand over the keys, but I can trust Kenny which in turn makes it easy to turn over those keys.

STAY AWAY UNLESS YOU HAVE EXTREMELY DEEP POCKETS!!! let me start off by saying iam not talking trash only the truth. I dont even truly know if they do good work because they are so expensive. They must think they are building motors for Nascar. originally i brought my truck here due to it running rough and check engine light on. 1st was the $100 diagnostic test which to me was ok. Then came a phone call that advised me he needed $500 to look further for the problem. I said ok because it was already there and I needed my truck back. After over a week came numbers I just cant forget. The owner still seemed as if he didnt know what the true problem was and kept giving me posible problems. Next he said $8,700 to rebuild my motor or around $7,700 for a new one. I said no ofcourse because my truck is 10 years old. I asked what it would take to just fix the current engine and then he was still over $4,000. How u go from telling me i need a new engine to being able to fix it is beyond me. I said no again. The owner was kind and seemed to want to help me out with the existing balance (now 500) since he hadnt done a thing to fix or truly tell me what the issue was for sure. I came to pick my truck up and he charged me 475 to get my still broken truck back. I feel absolutely TAKEN!!! please avoid this place. As for me and everyone I talk to and know we will never come here again!!!UPDATE****^^^^ Took my truck else where for 2nd opinion THANK GOD!!! was fixed by another shop that have certified mechanics and is running great for the same cost that Morrison charged to do absolutely nothing. Did not need a new motor what so ever or had nothing wrong that is stated below. There were 2 cracked spark plugs and it needed a new cam phaser celinoid. Again I recommend that you stay away!!!!!!! What should of cost me $500 could of cost me over $7000 if I would of let them do the work to my truck.
