I wish I could remember names. A tall slender young man helped me. I had a lot of frustrating issues with my phone.I was doing my parkinsons thing and he invited me to sit on a padded bench. He asked for my phone after I told him some of the issues. He then proceeded,WITH my permission, to clear someduplicate apps and get me back to the home page I am familiar with.He even went with me to the door and held it for me. Polite, friendly, knowledgable and professional.Grand Slam! He knocked it out ofthe park.
It was OK but I needed more explanation but didnt happen so . Im disabled . it fine but Im shopping for another carrier .
Always busy. I believe they need a second check out kiosk. People are friendly and helpful and store if kept clean.
It seems impossible to get your money back from Verizon if your plan never starts and youve tried 3 different stores to get your phone opperating.....
Unless you are actually planning on purchasing something, dont waste your time going to this store. Every time I have been to this Verizon Store in need of assistance, I am simply handed a phone number and told to call. You can find the phone number to call online, so dont waste your time making an appointment and driving over. I give two stars because at least they are very courteous while not helping.
Always very helpful when you go in there. Had to get a new phone for my son. In and out in 30 minutes or less.
Always have to wait but people are nice
I didnt know much about them.just got my internet with them
I have been a Verizon customer for years. Over the last four months I had difficulty with phone dropping calls, losing connection while searching on Google. I tried several times to get issue resolved. Solution was BUY new phone. After repeated failure I switched to T Mobile. I did get a new phone there. The sales folks there told me I was at edge of their service area and may not work. They were correct so I went back to Verizon. I asked Verizon if I could bring an unlocked New T Mobile phone to Verizon and on two separate trips to the store said no way. This was even after I told them the Verizon web site said you could. Their solution was BUY new phone. So went to Waynesboro store and they switched my T Mobile phone to Verizon in less than ten minutes. So if you want to BUY a phone Staunton store may be for you but service terrible. I go the extra distance to Waynesboro to get the phone and reliable service.
They are not helpful a all, bad customer service and have no knowledge on tech issues.
If I could put no star, I would....My husband went into the store at Statler Square today for assistance with an e-mail issue on his phone. There were three associates in the store. When they finally paid him some attention, he was told that they do not assist customers any longer with issues. He was told they now have an independent company that assists with issues or he can go online and look up a resolution. He was told that all they are supposed to do now is SELL, SELL, SELL I am very tempted to go to another provider at this point. I pay way too much to be treated this way. I called and spoke to Andrew, the manager, who basically just stated this could have been handled differently and was a good coaching opportunity. If you ask me, dont waste your time with this store or this company for that matter!!!!
I bought as new flip phone a week ago only to have battery issues. Phone would drain in 2 days. I came back to the store asking that the phone be replaced assuming that it was defective. My bad on assuming it was the phone as in the end it turned out to be a setting. But I found this out at another Verizon store. MY Staunton stores experience was atrocious. The battery life on my phone is stated on 2 Verizon sites as 18.5 DAYS. Ok that sounds too good to be true but heck, 1/2 of that would be desirable. Verizon Solutions manager states you only get 18.5 days if the phone is in standby mode. And he along with one of his staff state that standby is when the phone is off. LOL LOL LOL. Then I go online again and determine that Verizon itself states however that standby is with phone ON but no apps running. Just waiting for a call. Next, they stated that there is a $50 restocking fee. From the other Verizon store it turns out that due to the Corona issue Verizon corporate waived all restocking fees. I was going to ask to speak to another manager or someone up the line to tell them of my experience. Maybe I can help them do their job better. They know whats best and could care less about me. Their punishment is I will actively direct all business over to the store that knowledgeably helped me. They knew what setting was needed to have the phone run in a efficient manner, but more importantly explained what standby really is and how the restocking fee was waived had it become necessary to swap the phone out. I guess there are different degrees of a salesman / manager either purposely / intentionally misleading me or maybe just not knowing whats going on.
In my opinion Verizon has the best deal. They have the best signal then anyone in this area.
Great service on the visit today, We has Aaron help my daughter get a new iPhone 11 . Thanks!!
The associate couldn’t fix the problem I was having (had to be done online), but he was helpful and answered all of my questions.
I had a young man named Aaron who was extremely impatient. I literally heard him sigh when I asked questions. I was going to buy a new phone but it was clear that he did not want to fool with me so I just left.
Do not go in for information. it is all about sales and commissions. once i started talking about a flip phone, you could see the guys eyes roll! the people who rated excellent service probably just got the new iphone and were treated royally. verizon has changed a lot since i have been with them and as soon as my children are off my plan i am looking into alternatives. soon will say goodbye verizon
On 2/18, my wife, Sharon Humphreys, decided to move to a new plan & phone. I remained on our previous plan. Without talking with me I was switched to a new plan. I called Aaron on 2/19 and informed him I DECLINED THE NEW PLAN. The change was made without my permission.
Consistently outstanding customer service here. Kudos to Blanche and Beth for our last visit. Patient knowledgeable, well staffed.
-1 for the extended wait. You will spend some time here, but you will be able to accomplish what you came in to do.
Service great but boy does Verizon ever so nickle and dime you to death. Not very happy with there price going to strait talk.
This place can get busy and no one likes going to the phone store but I had a good experience working with Michael. He made things quick and didn’t pressure me into anything I wasn’t interested in.
Hidden fees. Terrible data allowance. My plan should have been $86 for 2gb. Some months I didnt even go over my allowance and I was charged $115 for no reason. Other months when I went over accidentally it automatically bumped up to $136. So I switched to sprint. Unlimited data for $90. No cap. No hidden fees. Back to streaming radio and youtube.
Great help wiping an old phone and transferring data from another.
The worst store. If you get Joe, hope that his friends dont come in needing help, skipping the queue and interrupting your session, although youve waited an hour to be helped. This happened not once, but twice. Or if youre Joes friend, just enter the store, and skip the queue and interrupt whoever hes helping. Youll have a wonderful experience. Thanks Joe. You totally rule bruh.
Fast friendly service
Went to Verizon store in Staunton.Va. today. Blanche helped us with new phones n service. Was very pleasant and knowledgable

Best Verizon store I have ever worked with. Friendly knowledgeable people.
Joey Rabon and Joe Mondrey were the best reps there, they always help me with my needs.
Awesom love it!!!😇😇😘
Excellent service, Superior Customer Service
Blanche is awesome! She deserves a raise or two!!
Picture a time when you went to a phone store. You got it.
Beneficial. They educated me on some issues that I was ignorant of, which with the information they shared with me, will save me money.
Michael H gives the worst service he should not be working in that store. Doesn’t know the meaning of customer service. He needs to be retrained or gotten rid of. We have dealt with this store for years and this was the worst experience we have ever had.
Wait time was horrible, went to return a device and they helped everybody else before me even when I was there before the other person. Rude and not willing to work with you. Dont ever go here!!
They couldnt tell me why my text are not sending to my friend. I was texting him until 3 weeks ago. They blame it on his phones carrier.
Sitting there waiting while the manager and a associate waited on one customer. Manager was laughing and carrying on like a little kid while 4 customers waited for more than 15 min. To be waited on. We left and she was still on the floor laughing and carrying on. Crappy service.
Love my new phone
Great service. ..but long waits every time:-(
Excellent service by Eric, A+
Associates are very helpful and friendly
Great store and great people!! Love this store!!
Why are there two people working here on a busy Saturday morning? That seems like a stupid idea, Verizon.
We waited for over 15 minutes for us to get checked in after they checked in a customer who just walked in told them they would be with them shortly after we had been waiting there for 15 minutes we ended up leaving and going to sprint!!!
Willing to listen and very helpful !!
Charged for free phone for 5 months and cant get a answer why. Would never recommend them.
With almost no wait time, the helpful associate was friendly.
Fast and polite
Long time Verizon customer. But this store always, always has long lines and long waits. More reps would help.
