I rarely do reviews but after my awesome experience with this location, I have to share thoughts. First off, Chris, the owner and the entire staff are just simply amazing people to work with. Just like other reviews, I was very hesitant about the Maaco stigma, but I can assure you that this is not anywhere close to the typical Maaco. They took in my car and gave her a brand new life to a 40 year old car. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS LOCATION.Update: 9/15/20I had a mishap with the car but luckily the great team at Maaco got her back on the road like nothing ever happened. Cant speak enough good things about the quality and services of this location.

Someone hit my car in a parking lot and insisted on paying for it... at the cheapest place he could find. Maaco was closest to me so I went to get a first estimate there. Long story short, after getting an estimate at 4 other shops in the scariest parts of Houston, Maaco still ended up being the cheapest by 15%! And in the end the car (a BMW with apparently quite complex and expensive paint) looks better than it did before the accident.Dont bother going anywhere else for collision repair and paint. These guys know what theyre doing and will do it at a fair price.

I put in a lot of time/effort, but it did not turn out well.Consequently, I took my car into Maaco (Stafford, TX) to see what they could do. My cars coat had been deteriorating for quite a few years since it was caught in a frost. Finally decided to get it painted. I took it to this Maaco where I was met by Chris who gave me the estimate. He was a very friendly guy. He asked what my budget was and adjusted by taking a year off the warranty. I was okay with that because I was getting 250 dollars off of what I would have had to pay and I still had 4 years of warranty left. He told me it would take approximately 5 days to complete the job.The job was finished in 6 days. I picked up my car and was pleasantly surprised by the work. I had heard that Maacos work was generally on the lower end with respect to quality. However, this was not the case at all. My car, that had eroded paint across most of the body, was absolutely shining as if it was brand new. The major dents had also been taken out. They had also washed the car AND cleaned/vacuumed the inside of it.Time will tell if the paint job is truly high quality, but I still have the 4 year warranty if anything happens. As for now, Im VERY satisfied with my experience.

From the moment I stepped foot in Maaco Stafford I felt a family-like presence. Chris did a good job of continuously communicating with me, the body job looks perfect in every detail, absolute outstanding customer service! They washed my car as well... talk about going above and beyond! I loved it! Not to mention the price was unbeatable across the whole area of Houston! Last Month I took my car to get it painted because the previous paint on my car was peeling on the hood and fading in other places and there was a couple of dents. When I picked it up I couldnt believe it was the same car they really did a great job they even waxed the tires. Chris said he was going to make sure my car was going to be taken care of and he did. They did a good job on my 2018 Camry SeSome lady hit my car while I was taking my finals and I tried to repair the paint and clear coat by myself but I’m not an expert. So I decided to do it professionally and Chris who works there gave me a decent price to basically paint door doors and some a fender. These guys are not tour average Maaco place. Also I think they clean the inside of my car and outside after they’re done painting it.

I needed bumper, fender, and headlamp replacements on my car and these guys did an excellent job. They gave me the best quote out of the other shops I got estimates from. No bs, no unnecessary fees. The customer service is great as well - I don’t know a whole lot about cars and they walked me through everything so I knew what was happening and what I was paying for. I am so happy I chose this place and I will be going back for some minor repairs and paint touch-ups soon! I highly recommend checking out this Maaco if you need service on your vehicle. Not only did Maaco of Stafford have the best reviews, but the price for the total paint job was great. As my car is a 1995 I didnt have any expectation of a crazy expensive or perfect paint job, I wanted the basic paint job to let it relive its glory days. Upon picking it up, I was astonished at the quality and mirror image paint job. Simply amazing and they exceeding all my expectations. I wouldnt hesitate taking any vehicles here for a paint job. They are very respectful and for what the competition was charging me for a hood, roof and tailgate touch-up I was able to paint the entire truck at maaco. There was some paint runs when I picked it up but with the warranty they fixed it with no extra charge and the truck looks great.

Maaco did a fantastic job after my fender got damaged. Neal, the manager, is an awesome guy to deal with. The rest of the staff was also professional and efficient. They even cleaned the inside of my car which I was not expecting. The car was like new after I got it back. I came for a second time to get my entire car painted.

I own an old 1994 Jeep Wrangler. I saw the Maaco ad on television for a $299 paint job and thought “Thats for me!”.So I stopped in and told them I’d like that TV special.The person at the desk, got the clipboard and started walking around my Jeep checking various things, asking if I’d like them to do various things.Came back into office and waited around for about 20 minutes while the data was entered. Keep in mind it took longer because the person had to also monitor and answer the phone.When the estimate was printed out, the $299 paint jog was going to cost over $3000!I was astonished.I pointed to the sign on the wall and reiterated that’s the job I want.Was told, no - they can’t give me a paint job for that price. That price just covers the basic cost of the paint.We haggled - not arguing - for a bit then I just gave up in frustration.The best price I was able to get was around $1200 if I took the Jeep home, removed the hardware on the outside and brought it back the next day.Needless to say, the old Jeep still needs a paint job. I was quite frustrated having wasted over an hour in pursuit of something they had no intention of giving - an advertised $299 paint job.On the good side, they were pleasant and polite.

Amazing service and amazing results!! I brought my 1990 truck here to get it fixed. There was rust all over my truck and my side dulley(fiberglass) was totally destroyed. The office staff Chris and Yasmín were so helpful and amazing.They went over the plan and the process which gave me peace of mind. The assistant manager of the shop, Zach, was so understanding, he showed me how he prepped my truck and updated me with any bumps on the road. You can tell he loves what he does, such a hard worker. I was so amazed when I picked up my truck. The paint was so glossy and so shiny. The rust was forever gone and the dulley was totally fixed. I am so happy that i came to this Maaco.

Replaced the car’s rear bumper and finished a day earlier than promised. My son commented that he thought they painted the entire car. But the repainted areas blended in quite well with the old paint job. Would return here to do other car body repairs.

Dropped off my van in July 2019. The estimated time frame was 3 weeks. It’s now March 2020 and I get the same generic response when I check status. How many times can someone say it “should be” ready next week. I’m embarrassed for these people! MAACO. Please give me my car back.

Terrible experience. They overcommit and underdeliver. I had to take my vehicle without being completed because they had taken 6 months and still couldnt get the basics right. I have finger prints in my paint still as well as bubbling in the paint. I also have places where the paint was torn off with the tape they used. Its horrible quality. Between paint jobs, they managed to dent it in several places, scratch the paint and were forced to respray twice. I was told at the 6 month period, they were going to start charging me storage, even though my truck was still in pieces and the trim and interior were not put back together. Dont take your vehicles here unless its for a quick, low to mid quality spray on small parts. Their folks are overall friendly, Neil is a reasonable manager, Javier is talented, but they dont have enough quality hands to do the job and most of their folks are careless in their quality of work. Pay the extra for the next highest bid anywhere else.

I dropped by Maaco because I got a few scuffs on my car from backing out of my garage. They told me what I could use to remove them and then went a step further and removed them for me. Excellent customer service....I will definitely keep them in mind for the future and I highly recommend them!

It took a few appointments as I had a few hiccups, but each time I went to Maaco I left in a better headspace than when I entered.Chris was patient, professional, has a nice smile, and made me feel like my car was always in good hands. (and he smelled nice lol.)Yasmin (I think that’s the receptionist’s name)was really nice and soft-spoken over the phone and in person, she has great customer service.I don’t recall the boss’s name, but every time I saw him his interaction with everyone around him was jolly. Like Santa or something. On the day i was supposed to pick up my car, i ended up losing track of time and basically ended up being one of those customers that come inside the store 7 minutes before closing after you’ve already cleaned and straightened up the place. But the Boss didn’t treat me like one of those customers, and we somehow still managed to crack a couple jokes as he got me taken care of and my car keys back in my hand. (I would’ve been car-less for the night and that would’ve sucked!)The place is family-owned and everyone employed there gives off the impression of being really cool with eachother- so it “feels” family-owned and down-to-Earth too.I’ll be returning to Maaco in the future should I ever need it. I’m just not happy like the initial job on my car I was somewhat satisfied but today just did it for me like before I was in a car accident and I had to get my bumper replaced and they screwed in the license plate into the bumper and what I think happened is the screws they used where to big and it broke but when I got there they insisted I had to hit something or someone hit me and it’s like I know my car and for a fact if I hit someone or they hit me it would have been more damage but the part that completely upset me is they tried to put the blame on me when it was clearly their fault so they ended up using smaller bolts and making a new hole but the initial one is still there
