Customer service? How about any service. 15 minutes later and I had to go track down someone in the back to see if anyone was working there. Nice furniture tho Ill try another location. Maybe.

Let me start by saying that the furniture set we bought is beautiful and great quality. This review is about customer care/ service after purchase was done.Before you make an investment on any piece of furniture with Bassett make sure you ask the right questions. We came across an unusual situation with one of our pieces and all they have to say was... we asked the manufacturer and nothing can me done. I would like to see the same die hard customer service approach they show while trying to sell you something when you need help. I understand buyer beware approach, but their lack of interest and detachment from the situation was overwhelming. I know they cant care less where I take my business, I wont go back there for sure.

Don’t buy from this company 8 months ago I ordered furniture for my new home took 3 months to get the furniture when I received was damaged wrong cushions and looked like old furniture still no solutions parts been ordered 6 months ago nothing been fixed the quality is not the same anymore it’s terrible they offered a discount change my chair and new cushions for the sofa nothing is done yet hopefully I don’t have to wait 6 more months to get a solution

During one of Bassetts many summer sales, earlier this year, I decided to do a complete family room make-over. Choosing, mixing, and matching the uniquely patterned fabrics for the chairs and sofa became so easy and fun. Catherine (designer) has extensive knowledge and experience and she more than met my expectations; she also stayed committed to my goals and preferences. I wanted an eclectic look, balanced with fun art and unusual accents. The end results have been amazing. And, all in 30 days or less - which no other store could match when custom ordering fabrics, tables, etc. The cost was reasonable, the quality is very good. Our leather recliner is stylish and very high quality. Delivery was quick as promised. The entire experience has been successful and fun. And I have an AMAZING family room! Thank you Catherine! Thanks to John, the manager, for his availability and commitment to customer satisfaction.

My 1st visit was in the Dallas location on Mckinney. I believe Michael was who helped us. I went to browse and ended up buying a bed frame and couch. He was awesome all through the sale with details we would had not thought off. Everyone said hi, when we walked in or asked if we had been helped. Great location!Now, when we visited the Southlake location, it was a different experience. I went in because I wanted to see if they made a smaller couch like the one we had bought or to find a love seat or something to match with it. NO ONE said Hi or can we help you, not from the moment we walked in, through the 5 minutes we sat on the couch waiting, or while we walked through the store or when we walked out.One lady at the front desk was on her phone, the other looking through fabrics and the other lady was in the back seating with a customer..I was really wowed, I thought Bassett had excellent customer service, guess we were wrong.

I was kept informed when the chairs would be arriving at the store. I ordered extra material and pillows. I thought it was an excellent way for me to prepare the area where the chairs would go. I had made a lot of changes in my family room. I was very happy with the service I got at Bassett. Mr. Maine was a very nice person to follow through with my purchase. Thank you JHS

Not a large selection but what they had was very nice and many of the pieces can be customized. the sales person was very helpful. We will definitely be coming back.

Aliza Mitchell was very helpful. She thought out of the box to give me an option that may meet my needs. She then wrote up a quote for me to review at home. Furthermore, I had a friend with me that was looking for something Bassett did not carry and Aliza tried to find it on the internet for her.

Areas of excellence: The Salesperson called to follow up several times.Areas for improvement: We received no phone calls either the day before or day of delivery per salespersons comments. We received an email the day before that I happened to see, so thankfully I was there for delivery. The delivery men were pleasant. The only thing I noticed was that the brass/bronze finish on two of the nailheads was scraped and the bright silver finish was showing through. Thankfully, I have paint on hand for just such times but I should not have had to touch the sofa for the amount of money that was spent.

Ive had a few problems with my ordering experience thus far. First, the order was incorrect multiple times despite my very detailed requests (aka, wrong sectional parts, wrong number of pillows etc). I finally went to the store again in person and spoke with a manager to make sure the order was correct (since at this point Id lost faith in the sales associate). At the time of ordering, the sales associate kept commenting on the local manufacturing of the couch and that we would be receiving it in 30 days. Well 5.5 weeks have gone by now and the only information I have is sometime the second week of July, maybe. At this point Im just holding my breath, hoping I receive my correct order and the rest of this process goes ok because I dont think Ill be dealing with this Bassett location again.

We ordered a Beckham 3974 Collection Sectional, 4 inches narrow on the width and 2 inches short on length. Response from Camille Stevens this is within industry standards.It took us 6 weeks to agree as a couple and then another 4 weeks to wait for the sectional to come in.

We had a great experience with Michelle at the Victor, NY store. The fabric we selected was on backorder so we knew it would take longer than the typical ~4 weeks to arrive. The staff did a great job keeping us updated during the 9 week wait time. There was a slight mix-up where we were notified to schedule delivery for part of our order, however, it turned out the order was still incomplete. I received a call back the next day from an apologetic employee who waived the delivery fee as a result of the inconvenience. That was very much appreciated and a testament to the good customer service that Bassett provides. Once our complete order was in, we were able to schedule delivery within two days. Anthony and Tim arrived exactly when the tracking technology said they were going to and they were professional, kind and helpful during the time they were here to deliver and assemble the furniture. I am very pleased with my experience and will definitely be a repeat Bassett customer!

TERRIBLE SERVICE!!!! TAISHA FORGOT TO SEND MY COUCH OUT. A FOUR WEEK REPAIR WILL NOW TAKE EIGHT WEEKS, AFTER ITS BEEN SITTING ALMOST A MONTH AT THEIR WAREHOUSE. I HAVE NEVER DEALT WITH SUCH INCOMPETENCE, LET ALONE MY LIFETIME WARRANTY COUCH IS SAGGING LIKE A BIG LOTS CHEAPIE. (IM NOT HEAVY). SKIP THIS STORE AND MOVE ON TO THE NEXT. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE, ZERO ABILITY TO PROVIDE CUSTOMER SERVICE. WHEN I CALLED TO DISCUSS, TAISHA WAS OFF, HER MANAGER HAS NO CLUE.. BUYER BEWARE!!!!!UPDATE: To add to my review, Taisha called me to chastize me for this review, telling me I stereotyped her (where?). Incredibly snotty & combative to work with, maintained she did nothing wrong & didnt forget to send my couch out. (I still dont have it, not back when promised). A little humility when making mistakes goes a long way. My original post was based on a call from Bassett Customer Service to tell me that Taisha had forgotten the couch, and that after a month of sitting, it would be sent out for repair for a total of TWELVE weeks. The promised four weeks has turned into eight by the time I will supposedly get it back. These things happen, but its the total lack of courtesy & humility (and professionalism), then getting chewed by her for my ACTUAL experience. (she hung up the phone on me when I refused to remove this review after several snotty comments) Her total lack of professionalism has further solidified my opinion of this location. I dont believe this to be a subjective review, as its based soley on my experience with this matter, and the correspondance I have received from Bassett, verbatim. On a positive note, the district manager Adam has been a pleasure to deal with, and has done everything possible to rectify my concern in a courteous and professional manner.
