Rented a truck here without any problems

Made a reservation a week in advance, but they cancelled it and gave my truck away without calling me because I was late for my pickup.

Worst experience with this uhaul place. Overcharged me and stated that I went further than what I actually did. And not only did they charge me for gas even though I made sure I filled it up before I took it back but lied and said that it wasnt full. I was charged $78.00 for a truck rental that should have cost less than $30 with taxes and fees. DO NOT GO TO THIS UHAUL FACILITY...FIND ANOTHER ONE!!!!

Thank you to David Howard for going above and beyond for helping me out. My blinker wouldn’t work for the trailer I was renting and he was out here for about half an hour in the hot sun trying to fix my right right blinker. Finally got it to work. Thank you so much! Excellent customer service.

TERRIBLE SERVICE! For some reason they allowed me to walk out of the office when they still had my license after renting one of their vehicle i would be DRIVING for a one way trip 200 miles...Then after calling multiple times to attempt to get it back the manager promised they would send it. Its going on 10 days and I still have not received it. After calling today and waiting on hold for nearly 30 MINUTES, I explained my situation and was then put on hold AGAIN. They then disconnected the call while I was waiting. TERRIBLE TERRIBLE TERRIBLE. Dont ever use this Uhaul depot. Absolutely terrible customer service and satisfaction.

Great service. Rented a pick up truck, it was a great vehicle. This Ford even stopped running the engine at lights, and then Automatically started running when you took your foot off of the brake to conserve fuel. Process was very quick and easy. Would recommend highly.

Only 2 stars because there were some staff that really worked to fix this after the fact. I booked this reservation for a Sunday and a 7am pickup. The agent told me I would be getting an email to guide me on how to do so through the app/phone since it would be outside of regular business hours. I got the email and followed the steps but when it linked to the website, there was no option to create an account, only to log in. So I did a forget password and created an account but there was no record of my reservation. Clearly it was not linked. So I called the next day and spoke with someone at the location who clearly was not understanding the issue very well. She then checked and told me that the website is having technical issues and might be the reason why I was having that issue. Then she proceeded to tell me that all I really need is the reservation number anyway. So on Sunday I went to the location for my 7am pick up. There were no signs or instructions posted to assist first time renters. So I called in to get some help and the person that I spoke with was very helpful and worked with me to get the account linked to the order and clarified that it was absolutely necessary to get the truck (which the other person did not say to ensure that it was sorted out before the day of pickup). After all that trouble, the account was linked and I was finally able to click on pick up my truck, the link takes me to a page that says that my reservation is an in person pick up and that I need to wait for them to open at 9am. I asked the agent about this and she started to apologize because SHE REALIZED THAT NO TRUCK HAD BEEN SET UP FOR ME. To say the least I was furious! This put my schedule 2 hours behind. I had to leave and go back at 9am. The staff Megan was confused about why it was not set up herself and I even heard another staff saying something else was not set up either. Some of these staff seem to be bad at their job. This was majorliy inconvenient and will not be a repeat business for me.

This U-Haul was absolutely terrible, start to finish.1. They sent me the wrong pick-up time before they opened.2. I called customer service and got a solid hour of runaround.3. They promised me a redress credit but dropped the ball.4. I called to ask about gas grade and they were clueless.5. The front desk could barely garble out a clear utterance.6. They still have not credited back my $100 deposit.Working with U-Haul was a dicey experience where I had to improvise, figure everything out on my own, and negotiate mixed messages about pretty much everything.Stay away from this location and go with Penske. Horrible.

Shout out Thomas Spencer for going above and beyond in fixing an issue with a scheduled hitch installation. Despite a cast on his leg, he drove to another location to pick the right part and installed it after hours So I can stay in schedule for my cross country journey.

Well-equipped, full-service U-Haul depot at a convenient location for Smyrna. Plenty of boxes and handy moving and storage supplies for purchase, and you can return what you dont use for a refund. Rental trailers or trucks can be dropped off after hours, their lot is well-lit and spacious. They have service bays and mechanics and can perform maintenance on their trucks and trailers, a plus over smaller sites.

This place sucks, the line was about 14 people long one lady working the counter, she was very helpful, the manager is the one that doesnt know what hes doing, he walked in saw the line didnt even think to help out, people where waiting in line to rent a truck for over an hour. The lady begged him to help and he just blew her off had to go out and find him and tell him to come help. Moving is already a hassle their process made it worse.Then when I went to hook up the trailer the guy helping me just stood there. The lot is a mess, management is horrible. Avoid this place at all cost at all cost

Came to get a hitch installed. Now I know it takes a couple of hours, but I have now been here for almost 4 hours and still not done. Theres like 6 employees and theyre all worthless. No one can do anything without getting the manager. He is the one installing the hitch. So every 10 minutes or so, he has to come help a customer and has to stop installing the hitch. My advice is pay a little more and go somewhere else.

I would not recommend this U-haul Rental. I have rented from U-haul in the past and have never had any issues with them. They charged me for gas, when I filled the gas tank and returned the truck on full. I have never had an issue where I needed to take a picture of the fuel level (in this case I should have). I do not know how a full tank diminishes to 3/4 of a tank overnight. If you do choose this place, I recommend returning the truck during business hours AND taking a picture to document how much fuel was in the tank when you drop off the truck (and take pictures of any damages too, just to be on the safe side). Why would anyone want to be charged $4 per gallon when gas is only $2.73? I have proof of when I refueled the truck, so why would I put gas in the truck just to fuel it to 3/4 tank if I drove the truck 30 miles? I wish I would have looked at the reviews before going here. The number one rule is to always check Google Reviews.UPDATE! I spoke with the manager, Brandi. She called a lady who supposedly reviewed the cameras from when I returned the truck. She said that the area where I parked the truck was not in sight of the cameras. So then I go outside of the building & there is a camera facing the EXACT spot of where the truck was parked! Mind you I parked it alongside the other trucks on the side of the entrance. These are blatant lies.UPDATE! Its been about a month since I spoke to the Regional Manager who stated that he would refund the amount overpaid. I never received any money back. I just cut my losses, but WILL NEVER use this place again.

Great service. They were able to look up the size of my truck and make sure I had the right trailer. Was able to rent a auto trailer big enough to pick up my old chevy pick up with a long beg for $66.73 total

Everyone was nice, the service was fast and I didnt have 1 issue. The employees were very helpful and the young man that helped me had been there since 6:30AM on Labor Day. He still had a great attitude and provided great customer service that day and the day I returned the U-Haul. Next time I need a U-Haul I will return to this location.

I have used them a few times over the past two weeks and they have been friendly, efficient, and great to work with. Highly recommend!

Customer service is very slow. He didn’t know what to do? Took an hour even to rent the van. He was going back and forth completely unaware of what he’s doing.

Being grossly over charged by 216.00 plus dollars for mileage. Currently being contested. Well see how this turns out.That one star is meant to be a NEGATIVE star.Resolution was wonderful. Patron, the assistant manager on duty, refunded my overage charges and reimbursed me for the total rental of the truck for my inconvenience. He was great and definitely lived up to my customer service expectations.

I reserved a trailer online and was given confirmation that it was at this location, but apparently it was reserved at another spot. Dayvon was incredibly kind, courteous, and helpful in getting us taken care of despite the mix up. He made what could have been a very frustrating experience into a very positive one!

Customer service inside was poor at this location. No name tags present. Front parking spaces are very tight. The store appeared clean. The guy who checks the trucks in was polite.

I ordered a storage unit for my move from Tennessee to Georgia. The day I was supposed to move in I attempted to contact the facility all day and it kept going to the call center. I left a message with the call center, but never received a call back. After driving 4 hours to get there I ended up waiting in line another 30 minutes only to be told that we would only have 15 minutes to unload our truck because they were closing at 7 and we would not have 24 hour access. I have never seen a storage facility that you can only access your things during business hours and it was not stated anywhere on the website. However; had someone picked up the phone at all that day or returned my call maybe that could have been addressed. When I told the man that I had been trying to call he said Well, we were busy. After a 4 hour drive I didnt get an apology for my inconvenience I got a smug attitude; which was what upset me the most. Needless to say I ended up having to find another storage. Probably for the best though because if I cant get in touch with you I dont want you to have my stuff and if you cant provide me with at least halfway decent customer care you dont need my money.

Nice and efficient staff but absolutely the most disgusting truck Ive ever rented. Then I was charged a cleaning fee! Luckily they refunded it after several calls.

Nice, friendly, helpful, outstanding. These are just a few words I have for the UHAUL in Smyrna. After a terrible start in Athens with a different truck rental place to going to UHAUL in Athens, which were also great. These guys just made me smile. Not only did the outside clerks at drop off treat us well but the guy doing the returns at the desk was wonderful. Thank you for making our bad experiences turn into great ones. Recommend them to anyone.

Customer service here is non existent...van smelled like piss...you wait around for a long time for service without even being greeted or acknowledged just kind of stare at you...the turn in time was confirmed for 9 on the phone...the location doesnt honor it..had to turn it in earlier. I dont have a reason to recommend this location to anyone

The young lady that didnt help as extremely rude. All she had to say was my perfume was to strong and was the most unprofessional person I have ran into at a place of business. I was here on 9/11/2015 @ 6:30pm.

The counter clerk was very rude to me. I got a quote online and she said to me, I know nothing of your quote. You didnt speak to me on the phone. Wow. I was just referencing the quote to know what I needed. She was a jerk and obviously dislikes her job. Then she pulls the truck up and just leaves It without telling me that was my truck. I will avoid this Uhaul location and I get trucks and trailers maybe 3xs a year.

The price was affordable. We were happy with the costumer service.

Both of the attendants on Sunday, October 30th at 1045 am we a special kind of rude. what do you want? naw bruh we aint got it cursing to eeachother. Just outright rude and obnoxious. Not happy definitely no more business from me.

Was on low budget to move into our new house and uhaul made that possible. Will use them again.

This location is the worst! I have used Uhaul every time I have moved since I was 18 and never experienced such rudeness and apathy. Dont try to speak with anyone in the store because their phone constantly goes to voice mail. I have tried getting the Manager to call me back after filing a complaint. Its been over 24 hours and nothing. Apparently their phones dont work. I rented a UBox from them, first my order was not ready and I had to wait over 2 hours to leave. Now that I am trying to take my stuff back, they moved it to another location and told me I would have to drive the extra distance (paying them extra mileage) to get my UBox. I will never do business with UHaul again after this. Its taken up several days of my life, 5 at this point, and multiple visits to the store and they are still unresponsive. Also, there hours say they open at 7, but when I arrived at half past they were still closed. So believe their posted hours at your own risk.

Extremely rude cashier Kristi. Called ahead to have propane tank filled and was told it was okay. A shower storm came and passed. Currently sun out and I am being refused service to fill up a propane tank. Very rude front desk woman with nose ring; wouldnt even make eye contact; clearly racist.

Uhaul as usual are always great. Helped out a friend.

I have rented trucks from this locations four or five times in the last couple of years, including last weekend, and have never had any problems.

I was told I could keep my rental for 2 days well that was a lie I was charged for the 2nd day when I was told additional charges would not apply until day 3 Thanks U Haul for robbing me

White woman brandi has a terrible mouth. She smokes cigarettes inside the store it leaves a terrible smell that customers can smell. Her attitude is out of order it’s just impossible how she’s the manager and her employees act more accordingly than her.
