Malik is the poorest example of management and the complete opposite of Dollar General’s Mission Statement. As Dollar General’s Mission of building a culture that respects the dignity and difference in others his actions say the very opposite. His lack of professionalism and cultural respect is disgusting please be careful when patronizing this business and for your peace of mind and freedom go to the food depot or Kroger instead. His language towards me as a first time customer of this location was very disrespectful and I felt completely harassed so much I had to call the police.I hope corporate takes heed to this message and honestly look for a more positive personnel to represent this specific location.

Worst Dollar General I’ve ever been in and will NOT go back! As you can tell from the pictures most shelves were completely disorganized. I wanted to take more photos but at the same time didn’t want to go overboard. Most aisles had garbage on the floors. At least three aisles had so many sales items on the floors the items covered the entire space between aisles and you couldn’t walk past, more less take a shopping cart. I found the few things I needed and went to check out. Three employees behind the counter we’re busy passing a cell phone back-and-forth talking to someone on speaker phone. The lady in front of me and myself both had to wait on them to get done on the phone to check out. The person who checked me out was friendly enough, however showed a lack of professionalism by being on speakerphone while ringing up my items. This was on a Saturday afternoon, however the store was not busy. I didn’t see a single employee on the sales floor. I initially thought the First mess I saw was an employee stocking shelves. However there were no employees in sight. And the horrible mass continued up from Aisle to Aisle. The entire time I was in the store, which was only maybe 20 minutes (most of the time in the checkout line with only one person in front of me), I only saw three other customers in the store. So it is not as if they were busy. I’ll never shop at this DG again.

I have always found people to be pleasant there, in spite of all they are expected to do for not much money. The prices are great. Check here for pharmacy items, cleaning products, dry goods, etc., before paying higher prices at grocery stores.

Very helpful staff, didnt have what I was looking for- face shields- but the staff really tried to find them for me, and were present and accessible.

Shopped, there when I was visiting friends. Makes it easy to get in and out with small purchases. The workers are very helpful and friendly.

I found everything I needed, but I was being followed. Someone with the same car as mine. But white car as while. I do have the persons plate # and picture.

This store usually has what I need from them, but the best part is accessibility to parking.

I loved that Dollar General is open early morning because I was able to pick up my paper towels, toothpaste, floss and other items before work.Saved me the trip of having to stop in rush hour traffic after work.The store is clean, staff is polite and the store is conveniently located near other retail stores.

Really good home decor they have hidden gems inside as it relates to home decor. Im a crafter so I love picking up items and them transform them into something different and unique. The store was clean and organized and the staff was friendly and knowledgeable.

Horrible. Never in my life have I been made to feel ashamed to be white until I had a simple issue, that was resolved, in this store that I shopped in weekly happened. I have not shopped there since. Kindness is something to be valued and something they lack. Because I had an issue I was shorted $5 dollars on a money back, which I did not inquire or think the cashier did on purpose because accidents happen, but when I had to go up to the store since noone answered the phone, over 20 calls, day before day of incident and address it with manager one cashier immediately saw it as an attack on all blacks folks and it wasnt an attack on any. I just wanted my money that was shorted I even told the manager accidents happen nor did I think the cashier did it on purpose. The cashier woman basically threw me my money and receipt. And the manager allowed it.

I guess since I shop here so much they know me and treat me great everytime. So my experience has always been nice and professional. I wish they organize the store better and stock the shelves early in the morning so the boxes arent blocking the aisles.

Its ok... I can go and grab want I need pretty quickly at this location. Trying to use their digital coupons can be a hassle if youre not tech savvy. The employees arent so great with helping or understanding their digital coupons as well. The store does look rummaged through most of the time. Customer Service is great for the most part. I would recommend this location if you live in the neighborhood.

Joey is a rude and racist individual who spoke down to me the entire time he rang me up. When I pointed out there was a price difference, he told me he didnt care, it wasnt his money. It did not end there. He continued being nasty when I told him to stop being so rude. He told me it was what white entitled women like me deserved. I walked out without what I came in for. I refuse to return to this store.

I go here all the time and the staff seems nice. A lot cheaper than a CVS. What more could you ask for? I have seen in the past months ago that they were a bit disorganized and stuff on the floor but that issue seems to be taken care of.

Joey is an absolutely horrendous human. As soon as he came out of the back to assist with my return, I could tell he was a piece of work. He is literally one of the rudest people I have ever met, and I didnt even have to say anything for him to give me attitude. When I asked if the credit for my return would go back on my card, you would have thought I asked him to go run a 5-minute mile. The girl behind the counter looked embarrassed and/or scared of him and I truly I feel sorry for whoever works there. I will never step foot inside again. Dollar General corporate seriously needs to look into this store. SHADY!!!!

The black lady with black bags around her eyes with stinky breath and short hair is very unprofessional. She smells like an ash tray and smells like alcohol. My kid smelt here breath and said whats the smell. Sometime she greets as u come in or when leaving sometimes she doesnt. Most times she looks unhappy. My most recent time seeing her was on the evening of Oct 14,2017 after 4pm. She also walks around the storm eating out of a bowl of noddles bowl. She give minorities a bad look.

They sre always out of merchandise . also they never can get the digital cupons 6to work, especially the saturday coupon. I have the app and clip my cupons and it doesnt work. They say they cant do anything about it. The employees are always unhappy and stressed outThe best employee they had was Frieda at the south cobb location. Frieda was mgmt material .even under the circumstances Frieda always stayed positive and smiled.I wish her the best?, she is an outstanding employee and always there. When I go there now. The music is blarring you cant even hear yourself thinkThey are miserable with having no help.

The most disorganized store Ive ever entered. Equal merchandise on the floor as on the shelves. Trip hazards, blocked aisle we struggled to simply walk around.

This store has the most unprofessional employees Ive ever encountered. I called to see if they had a product and the cashier told me she couldnt check for me and Id have to make a wasted trip to see if they have it. She then told me she couldnt help me and hung up in my face. I called back and asked for her name and she said Im not giving you my name until you give me yours. She said you called up here to ask me crazy questions and told me Ive already told you I dont have time to talk to you. The employees are ghetto and very unprofessional. If you dont have to go to this store then DONT. its always dirty it looks like truck never gets worked there is stuff all over the place. Will not be spending anymore money in this store!!!!!

I have shopped at this one location for years and I used to love going here, frieda is so nice and such a sweetheart but they have hired new people in the last few months and they are soooo rude and disrespectful. The young girl at the register was off putting stuff on the shelf and looked at me multiple times and didnt bother to check me out she actually just left me standing there for I know over 5 minutes. She didnt care to say Ill be right there or hold on nothing. I looked at her the whole time and yes she looked right back at me and kept doing what she was doing and ignored me. It took someone finally coming from the back to tell her you come and check me out. Then of course she is claiming she was unaware I had been standing there the whole time and actually had the nerve to smirk at me. I dont know how people like that gets jobs byt there are so many people who deserve it more than she does. If u cant treat someone with respect then u shouldnt be working in a public place.

I shop here a lot but the place was a mess today. Inventory in the floors blocking the aisles. The product on the shelves was also messed up. They obviously need to hire some more help or get some new management.

Way way way too much scent, some kind of spray fragrance or plug-ins make it so smelly I cant breathe in there.

I came to this Dollar General for the very first time to make a simple $5 purchase and left with my debit card cut in half.This is the WORST Dollar General I have EVER been to and the WORST experience I have had at a store. I recently just moved to Smyrna and went to this Dollar General for the first time. I was checking out a small, simple $5 purchase consisting of Vaseline and a nail clippers, and for whatever reason, their store cash register said my debit card was stolen.The cashier gets the manager Farrar. I asked her what the issue was and she doesnt say anything or notify me about the issue with the card. The manager Farrar just takes my card, no questions asked, and cuts it in half with scissors.Never mind the fact that he could have easily verified that it was my card, as I had my drivers license, University Student ID and Social Security Number on me. My debit card had my name on it, and I had about 7 other cards with my name on it. He just took my debit card and cut it in half without asking any questions. They both just assumed that I had stolen it.To add insult to injury, I asked if I could use another card, and he says Yeah sure, if it will go through and I tried to use my credit card to complete my purchase and he said that it was not approved. Gee, thats funny. I used my credit card the day before and it worked just fine. About 30 minutes later, I go to the gas station to test to see if my credit card works and sure enough, the transaction goes through just fine. And yes, this Dollar General does take discover cards. The manager Farrar refused to let me complete my purchase and deliberately declined my credit card since he assumed that I was a thief.I believe I was straight up discriminated against as he accused me of having a stolen debit card WHICH WAS MY CARD THAT I HAVE HAD SINCE 2015 and he deliberately refused my credit card which worked fine. I will NEVER be returning to this Dollar General or any other one for that matter.
