I could not have been more pleased. I had an older Dell Laptop that I really didnt want to got to the trouble of replacing. This meant I had to be able to get it repaired at a reasonable cost. The machine was checked out and a cable to the screen replaced and I have a laptop that should serve my needs for a few more years. The cost for the repair was more than fair.

Ive always had the greatest respect for J Dexter and their services. Ive worked with them for nearly 7 years and theyve always been professional. Its just not their competence, but how quickly they resolve my issues...at a very competitive price. I would highly recommend them. Oh...and the privacy issue: Once you turn the keys of the kingdom over to a tech repair service you will want your privacy respected. That was the crowning touch for me...SECURITY. Brought my computer in on two different occasions. Both times he told me what it probably was, and both times failed to discover the source of the problem. To his credit, both visits were free. In addition, it was an older computer that apparently didnt age very well. He seemed very knowledgeable, so maybe my computer troubles both times were cosmic flukes.

I have been taking computers to J. Dexter Tech for a couple of years. They have the BEST customer service of any computer repair place I have been to. They are thorough, they know what they are doing, they are cost effective, speedy, and I would recommend them to anyone. I have never had a problem with any computer I have sent to them. Ive taken computers there before & I love how honest they are,if its not worth fixing,they tell you instead of pushing you to spend unnecessary money on something that you could replace at a cheaper cost,but if it can be fixed,they do it at a very reasonable price & theyre never pushy,best pc repair around!

Got the job Done....almost. He was very nice and was willing to try to help me recover files from my mac. Mac has hidden folders that store phone back ups in itunes if you chose not to use the cloud. Unfortunately the hidden folders were not recovered and i lost my back ups therefore losing many pictures songs and notes that were stored on my computer in Itunes. Great customer service, and a quick turn around; just wish i had all of the files that were on my mac before it was wiped and restored.

We went to get my wifes laptop fixed after one of the kids dropped it and broke the power cord where it meets the laptop. He was up front pricing on labor and parts. He did a great job and i recommened there service. Its been over a year since we had the work done and it is still run great. Thank you for your hard work. Will be coming back if i need and more service done.

I took my Mac to have it looked at and after 3 weeks I picked it up with the explanation of it couldnt be fixed. I brought it home, opened it up only to find it looked like it hadnt been touched. After pulling the Hard Drive myself, dusting it off, then reinstalling it the computer worked fine. Must of been a loose wire, dust, or just needing a reset, but I find it hard to believe that it was even touched let alone anything to come to a conclusion of it being unfixable. If you dont want to mess with something be honest! They probably are very knowledgeable about computers but never trash your PC without a second opinion.

He gave me a quick free estimate on my laptop. Repairing it wasnt worth the cost, but next time I need computer repair, Ill come back.

They say people dont say anything unless theyre unhappy. unfortunately, that seems to be true alot on the internet. Ive been coming to see Jefferson for probably 3 years now and have always been happy and satisfied. I even stop by when Im in the area to see if he has any new pictures on the walls. Hes always gone above whats needed, and I am glad I know him. So count me as one of his very happy customers!

I needed a desktop repaired. Even though it was a 5 year old Dell, it was a custom workhorse for video editing, so I really wanted to avoid purchasing a new pc. I tried to fix it myself with a new CMOS battery, and I tested the power supply, which seemed to be working. But no matter what I tried, the computer would not fire back up after I would power it down. I brought it in and the issue was identified right away, which was the power supply. They had the part in stock and the work was completed the next day. They let me know in advance what the cost would be, which was very reasonable. Service was friendly, couldnt be happier.

They really saved my butt today! I got hit by a bad windows update that wanted me to pick a keyboard, but it really destroyed my windows. Turns out its happened to a lot of people. Jefferson had to wipe the system to restore it to service, but he was able to grab my data, especially my quickbooks data for my business, and really saved my day (and year!). He also assured me it was not something I did, which I really appreciate because I really thought I blew it up.

12/10/12 - I received a phone call from Jefferson, at this time he began berating me and threatening to call his attorney and sue me if I did not delete the post regarding his lack of customer service skills and his exceptionally poor quality computer.Any business owner who feels compelled to berate a customer and threaten them with a law suit for expressing their opinion regarding the business, IN MY OPINION certainly must have questionable business practices.
