I found exactly what I was looking for with Willis Ford in Smyrna! Their staff is professional, friendly, and extremely knowledgeable. Frank was an exceptional sales representative and just an overall great guy. I felt comfortable with him and thats important when you have to make an important business decision.Ive never had that experience in a dealership before. They have earned a repeat customer and someone who will absolutely refer everyone I can there. Top notch!I included a few pics (and ended up naming her Cleopatra 🀣).

Purchased a vehicle here a few days ago and drove 7 hours to this dealership as I could tell the people working here were forthcoming and transparent with their pricing when contacting them over the phone and online. I was able to buy a Mustang Ive been eyeing for quite some time. I went through Michael Pulliam who was straightforward and able to get everything done smoothly without being pushy at all. He was very helpful throughout the purchase process and setup of the vehicle. The rest of the staff treated me like an actual person, not a number as well. Smaller dealership but honestly a far better experience than the larger ones with deceptive business practices and that look to trick you into buying extras you dont want. Definitely a dealership to trust. I would recommend checking out Willis Ford if they have what you want in stock!

Have purchased numerous vehicles here over the decades, and the service department has been good and bad over the years. Currently it’s horrible, my brand new truck has been sitting there almost 3 weeks now, intermittent starting issue and has left me stranded unable to start. Things happen, but my truck has been sitting for over 2 weeks without being moved, they say it’s not doing it, I went to pick it up and it 2 weeks ago and it had the exact same issue not wanting to start. The dealership where I bought it is going to get it. At one point I was told they are swamped with work and unable to get to it, which may be true, to repeatedly be told there is nothing wrong with my truck is unacceptable, why would I make this issue up. This issue has definitely left me with I will never buy another vehicle there again, nor return for service. The take it where you bought it attitude is unacceptable. Just leaving it sit on your lot till I get frustrated enough to take it elsewhere shows how you really feel about your customers.UpdateTruck was towed to winner ford, there is a tech service bulletin on that exact issue with my truck, it was a $43 relay. 3 weeks wasted waiting on Willis, but you guys got your wish and I took it elsewhere. The young lady customer service is very nice, you guys need to learn, I’m not an interruption to your business day, I’m the reason for it.

My 2015 F-250 developed a massive oil leak and dump 2/3s of its oil in my driveway. The truck also had a coolant leak and a few minor warranty items. The workmanship from the technician was great, but the customer service from the service manager was ridiculously bad. The manager was incapable of answering questions about what had actually caused the leak. Further, when I asked him if I could speak to the technician who had repaired the vehicle, he stated the techs arent allowed to speak with customers. When the truck was towed to the dealership, I supplied a typed list that included the viscosity of the oil used in the truck (5w40). When I picked up the truck, it was filled with 10w30. When I asked the service manager why they used the lighter weight oil his response was that was what Ford said to use. I tow with the vehicle constantly and the owners manual disagrees with his assessment. His parting shot to me was to let me know that his dealership policy is to turn away vehicles multiple warranty claims and send customers to their servicing dealership. When I asked what the servicing dealership is he stated the place where I get my oil changed. ( I change my own oil). Id love to see the Ford warranty fine print that says only certain Ford dealerships honor warranties. I left a message for the owner of the dealership to call me and have never received a call back. If you want good work on your vehicle coupled with terrible and disrespectful treatment from the service manager, Willis Ford is the place to go.Update...the coolant is still leaking... treated horribly and there is still a problem!!!!!!!Update # 2: Still never received a call from Willis Ford of Smyrna. Took the vehicle to Hertrichs Capital in Dover where I was allowed to speak with the diesel technician (Marty). I explained the issue and showed him the leak on the cooler. Problem solved...this is the place to go if you have a diesel truck!!Update # 3: Sent this complaint to corporate Ford and waiting for response.

They have an out of this world, amazing, service department! I have been taking my Ford Fiesta to Willis to get serviced since around 2016 and they have continued to treat me and my car with the upmost respect, kindness, and care. They thought that I may have gotten a flat tire in their parking lot or something when I got my brakes replaced recently (but they couldnt be 100% sure of this of course), so they replaced my tire for me free of charge! Who does that?! Anyway, I brought my mother with me today to get my car serviced and she was so blown away with how well they took care of me at Willis that she wants to start bringing her car there as well (I guess all the bragging that Ive been doing over the years about how awesome they are wasnt enough and she didnt understand until she saw with her own eyes how great they are)! As long as I am living in Delaware, I am a loyal customer for life!

Not your typical dealership (in a great way!). I needed to get my car serviced for recalls, and they were very hospitable! With a different make and dealership, Ive dealt with recalls and while there was nothing wrong with their service in any way, it felt very much like a quick, impersonal business transaction. It really served to highlight for me the exceptional above and beyond service of Willis Ford. They made sure I didnt have any questions, alerted me quickly when it was going to take longer than expected (waiting on a part) and gave me flexible options. It was a very neighborly atmosphere, and she even brought my car around for me! Its worth noting that I bought my car from a personal sale and not a dealership, but didnt treat me any differently. Might be a little corny, but Id say they treated me like I was a part of the Ford family. This dealership is a great representative of the brand!

I worked with Frank at Willis Ford, Smyrna, DE and was upfront with the goals of price and features I wanted in an F-150 and it was a very straight forward/no pressure process. I even stressed to him that I was leaving on a camping trip the very next day to use the truck to pull it so I needed to know about the break controller hookups specifically. Frank(salesman), specifically himself took the dashboard down and pulled out the brake controller hookup for the Ford pig-tail...going the extra mile was extremely apperciated.

After the service I was told everything they did and had a list of a couple things that needed attention. They explained thoroughly exactly what was needed and what can wait. My husband and I saw the Ford Ranger at a car show in Smyrna and knew it was exactly what we wanted. We did some online investigation. Then, went to a Ford dealership in Dover. We took the vehicle for a test drive but didnt make the deal. It just didnt feel right to us price wise. The next day we headed to Willis in Smyrna. Nate was the sales associate that assisted us. We test drove another Ranger. Nate was amazing. We purchased the truck we wanted for less than we expected. I waited to write the review to see how service would be after the sale. We asked for a front license plate bracket at the time of purchase. Within a week it was provided. We were very happy with Nate for following through. He did an exceptional job.

Today we drove a half hour to Willis to get the truck’s oil changed before leaving on vacation tomorrow. We were informed upon arrival that we mistakenly hit the wrong button to arrange the appointment - β€œleave”. They made no attempt at all to accommodate our 15 minute oil change. Material hold, covid19 shut down, and more but through it all Antyne, Nate, and Manager Rodney were nothing but open and honest. Im currently driving the C max from Willis Ford in Smyrna. Overall I think it is a great car to drive. This car is a hybrid model so it has great mileage already. I like that this car is able to recharge its battery through a process known as regenerative braking. The inside of the car is spacious and has comfortable seating. When driving the car, it is very smooth and the sounds of the engine are nearly nonexistent. The acceleration on the car is also really smooth and can get you up to speed in a matter of seconds. This car has benefits that outweigh the costs in the long run. I definitely recommend going there and taking a look at this car. You will not be disappointed.

Please don’t buy a car here. I bought a new $32000.00 Ford Escape in 2016. Has left me stranded 3 times in 3 years. 71000 miles, needed new transmission, (which is crazy at only 3 years) they said warranty ran out 10000 miles ago, charged me almost 3000.00 to fix, while still making high payment (it’s only3 yrs old). Now has a weird vibration, but between draining me financially and the rude staff when I had problems (they were WONDERFUL during the buying process as you can imagine), the fact I paid so much, still am, for this lemon. I’m trading it somewhere I can trust. RUN!

Bought a used car from Willis Ford and within less than 20 hours of owning the vehicle the check engine light came on. It was a Sunday so I sent an email and first thing Monday morning Nate called to follow up on the issue. The code read for a ERG valve. They got me in for repair and gave a loaner car for me to use until it was fixed (only a day later). The application and loan approval was easy and quick and service went above and beyond! We will be back when its time to upgrade. Highly recommend.

Not happy with my visit to the service center. I called on Friday to make an appointment and explained two concerns I was having with my F150. The guy on the phone was great but when I showed up Monday morning, they had no record of me. Okay, that happens. The service folks still take my truck and say theyll look into my two concerns I explain again.When theyre done, they have no comments on issue 1- pulsating brakes and try to reschedule issue 2- AC leak/water condensation in my cab. They dont have any useful information but think maybe the water is from the outside. No, I dont have water inside when it rains, just on really hot dry days when I run the AC system. It felt like they really were just not listening. I had to ask about issue 1 and got the brakes look fine from the agent. Okay, then why do they violently pulse? Also, they did a report card and marked my struts/shocks as needing immediate attention. Why would you not note this to me? They bother me about wiper blades but not apparently terrible shocks? Ill be going somewhere else for sure

The sales person Jerry was very unaccommodating. We came in to the dealer one day and bought a new Taurus in cash and a few weeks later we came in and leased a new Explorer. He told us one price in the beginning and then when the contract papers came they had a higher price.I have a leased vehicles and there are no amenities included. You have to pay for every single thing. I bought a Honda at a dealership and I was given free car washes, top off of my fluids, discounted oil changes etc.This dealership doesn’t offer any complimentary services like most dealerships. The servicing waiting area is a couple chairs and 2 vending machines.Find another ford dealership besides this one where you can get your money worth and just overall feel like a valued customer.

What a blessing;Nate Bowers and Willis Ford of Smyrna!!!There are still dealers and dealerships out there that care and will not try to take you for everything you have.So I found the vehicle in mind that I wanted online and it was 5 minutes from where I live at Willis Ford. I did not contact anyone prior to going to take a look at it. I knew what I wanted to pay and I new what I wanted for my trade.I dressed as casual as I could for the weather probably not looking too promising of purchasing a vehicle. As I arrived I was politely greeted by the receptionist and I saw a couple dealers looking at me and a couple others with clients already. She asked if she could help me and I told her I was looking to purchase a used F150. She said ok just one second. She paged for any salesperson to come to the showroom floor for a customer. A few minutes later Nate Bowers walked in the door from outside and she said this gentleman is still waiting for a salesperson. It looked liked Nate had just finished up with another because he was returning a dealer tag. He took me to his office and we had a great conversation and he went to get the keys to the vehicle I was looking for.Our excellent conversation continued in the truck and it was as if we knew each other for years; just two friends taking a ride. After returning I expressed my interest if the price is right and if I can get what I want for my trade. he haggled a few times with the used car manager on the trade value and finally the business manager came in to talk with me and got within the $250.00 I wanted for my trade; I shook his hand, i thanked Nate and in less than 90 minutes I was riding home with my new used 2013 F150 Lariat.Working with Nate he got me within $250.00 of what I wanted and I knew his manager was not going to budge any further. Nate fought hard to get me as close to what I wanted. Took my car in because of an engine service light. Had to leave the car which was expected for a non-appointment repair. They found a bad sensor, ordered it, which added another day to wait. The part that came in was not correct so they had to wait another day before I could get the car back. They did offer me a car while I was waiting but I declined. They kept me up on what they were doing and explained other items that needed to be addresses. Very professional and curtiouse. They are the only dealer I trust to work on my cars.

Terrible Service and Rude Manager - Scheduled an appointment ahead of time to have an Oil Change and to diagnose problems causing two warning lights to be lit up on my dashboard. They completed the oil change, yet Nicole Leeuwen told me that they didnt have time to find out why the warning lights were on and that Id have to come back another time to have them diagnosed and fixed. While Nicole is telling me this, the manager is running around, talking loudly and being rude. Even though I had made an appointment to have oil changed and warning lights rectified, I had to leave still having the warnings lights on and to make matters worse, the warning light for the DEF only gives me 90 miles of driving at normal speeds. I cant make it back there in under 90 miles. I went there to have problems resolved and left there frustrated with problems left unresolved.

Service was good until I had to do a warranty recall on the door latches. They disassembled doors and nothing was right. Plug was loose on drivers door and keyless entry didnt work. I took back to them to fix and they said ford doesnt pay for new clips and they would fix it. Door panels are still messed up and the stereo sounds awful when listening to as now everything rattles. With an hour commute to work this really annoys me. I was almost going to have them do $2100+ in service with tires and alignment but I will probably try somewhere else. I was also thinking of buying a new car but that changed my mind too.
