Ive had a few repairs done at this location, and everyone that Ive encountered has been very nice and professional, they keep your car clean and update you every step of the way of whats going on with your vehicle, I dont know of any other facility that does that. I am very pleased with the work and the staff. If you ever go to this location you will be pleased.

I took my truck in to Gerber Collision & Glass in Smyrna needing some paint and maybe body work and the young man who helped me (Scotty Thompson) went way above and beyond helping me to get my truck repaired. Being retired and having health problems like I do, this young man and indeed everyone at this business helped in every way possible. This may sound like a cliche but each person made me feel special and that my business mattered. In this day and time with so much distrust and poor customer service, this shop and particularly Mr. Thompson made this old man proud to recommend him and the entire team at Gerber Collision.

Broke the glass in a side mirror & needed it fixed quickly. Emailed multiple places Gerber answered with a quote quickly. It was reasonable & once the part came in they took care of me quickly.

They were very clear and transparent throughout the whole process and finished the work several days ahead of schedule as well as reducing my bill after they found a way to lower the cost of the repair. The repair itself was flawless, I highly recommend Gerber.

This is my second time to use Gerber. They are extremely professional, very courteous and really seem to care about their customers. Scotty was very friendly and kept me informed through every step of the process. My car was finished on time and the repair was flawless. I had some repair work done on my sons 92 Honda Accord a couple years ago and they restored the hood to near perfection. It was weird seeing the old car like that.Ive come back to them after the Lebanon tornado destroyed his car and they were extremely compassionate and helpful. I cant say enough good things.

We had serious hail damage on our new SUV. They even had to replace the roof of the car. It was extreme damage. They did great work, including doing a perfect job of matching the paint. They did the work on time, and they did a very good job dealing with our insurance company. Brian was extremely pleasant to work with. We would recommend Auto Art of Smyrna to anyone.

I went in to get an estimate for a minor repair and while I waited for the receptionist (who was on a personal call) I started filling out the customer form. When she got done she asked me what was good for me - tomorrow. I said can I get an estimate now? She said no - they have to schedule and the last appointment is for 4pm. . I work in Nashville - but this is close to the house. No one was writing estimates at the time and there was still 20 minutes to closing time. I told her thayt the previous owner (AutoArt) did walk ups. She said the new owner has a corporate policy and they have to do appointments. - If they aren’t interested in helping a customer in the small things - how can they actually care about the job they do on my car. NO THANKS! I’ll find a place with actual customer service.

I brought my car to auto art and they were extremely helpful and friendly, the vehicle was completed when promised. When I picked up my vehicle I was very surprised that they had detailed it inside and out! What great friendly, professional people. I would always bring my vehicle back.

The did a lot of half-assed work on my car. When I got my car back the speakers on the drivers side of my car no longer worked. 3 different trim panels on my drivers side door were either broken or damaged. They tried to glue a panel back and pass it off to me as if I would not notice. Brian tried to act like it was already like that, but for some reason did not put up much of a fight because he knew they did it. Screws were over-tightened which broke plastic pieces. The car clearly had sub-frame damage which is the metal underneath the fiberglass. Initially they made absolutely no attempt to repair this damage before they slapped a new body panel on top. Its like having a cake with misshaped bread and slapping icing on top. That will be a bad looking cake right? Brian tried to convince me, oh the fiberglass will take shape automatically and all this nonsense. Auto Art of Smyrna is a joke and DOES NOT CARE ABOUT THEIR WORK OR YOUR CAR. I waited a month for this 1 star service.

Having moved here from out of state, I did a relatively thorough search for a body shop to repair/replace my front bumper (and underneath it) and damage to my headlights. I visited several shops, got estimates and discussed with the repair shops and my insurance company precisely what needed to be done, what parts would be used (new vs. used) as appropriate to get my car looking great again in a minimal time frame. Comparatively speaking, I was most impressed with my findings from Auto Art. I gave them the business and they came through like a champ. They kept me abreast to what they were doing and gave me an accurate time as to when my car would be finished. My care looks fabulous. Thank you Auto Art for a job well done!!!

I would recommend this body shop! When I went to take my truck in for body damage and met with Scotty and showed him the estimate from the insurance company and went over the truck with him. Just to make sure that it would be fixed. He stated it would be taken care of. Very informative while my car was getting fixed

Recently I wrecked my 06 Toyota Tundra. I took my truck to Auto Art in Smyrna, I had heard positive things about them. However, I was worried that they would not be able to match the paint color because it was almost ten years old. I was very pleased whenever I got my truck back, because they blended the color perfectly!! I would recommend Auto Art to anyone. Perfect experience!!!

I would like to give a huge shout out to Auto Arts of Smyrna. It had been many years since I had purchased a new vehicle. As a working single mom of two I had put it off till I had no other choice. After the dealership called to say ok to pick it up, I was so excited and I ask my son to go with me. Unfortunately, we didnt make it home, due to colliding with a large deer who totally destroyed the front of my new car! We both was devastated and in shock but thank God we were ok. Unfortunately my new car was not. I was very concerned about the condition and future of my car. Auto Arts of Smyrna was highly recommended to me. I am very pleased with my decision to trust them with the work. More importantly, I appreciated their empathy and professionalism and the time they took to fix my car. Scott and all the staff were confident and always assured me that my car would be taken care of. I recently received it back, and it looked great! They did an amazing job, I was very pleased as well as appreciative and would highly recommend this body shop to anyone in the future who wants their car fixed with the care and experience I saw with mine. These people cannot write an estimate correctly nor can they keep a completion date. They were off in the estimate by $7,000. They then proceeded to tell us it would be done in 17 days when in reality it took them 64 days and in that time period it sat for 2 weeks and was never touched. I went down there weekly after the original 17 eta and asked them what was taking so long. They gave excuses of ordering wrong parts at least 4 times and repeatedly told us there was damage than they thought and proceeded to tell me that it was the biggest repair they have ever done. Every time I went down there they acted like they had no clue how to fix it. The interior was dirty and storage of interior materials appeared careless due to how dirty it was (it was clean when we brought it in). While they did repair the damaged portion of the vehicle they in the process chipped and scratched in several places with on of the chips being on the bumper that they painted and a chip on the door which should have been fixed because the door hit the buckled quarter panel. The lift gate was set correctly and did not raise all the way up. They also didnt line up the fuel filler neck correctly. It was off center and you could see an obvious gap. So to conclude if you want an accurate estimate, a speedy repair, and want your interior looking the way you gave it to them, please, take it somewhere else. Overall very disatisfied with the time it took, the storage of the interior pieces, and the time frame it took them. Would not recommend to anyone

FINALLY a body shop that doesnt treat you like youre just another number in their corporate ran assembly line!!!! Scotty & all of the employees are so personable, professional & friendly! He kept me very informed & made sure I knew every step they were taking in the the process of fixing my car. Thats the first time anyone in the auto repair business didnt make me feel like I was being taken advantage of & he made a very stressful & scary time in my life just the opposite. I checked my vehicle in for repair and the original estimate was 12 days. It took 22 days to repair because they ran out of paint. My car is black. Completely unacceptable. I will never use this shop again nor recommend it to anyone.

My car was squished from the rear and I was afraid that it would never look new again. Auto art in Smyrna proved me wrong. My car looks like a brand new ride. The customer service I received from Scotty and Brittany by keeping updated on the status of the repairs and when completed. Also Brittany helped set me up with my rental thru hertz and made the entire ordeal extremely easy. Will use them again if I ever need anything done again. Thank yall so much.

Dropped my car off on May 5th, and was told it would be 7 days. Here it is the 21th of May and I still dont have my car.I have never been contacted or notified by the company, unless I complain to my insurance and then amazingly they call right after that. I have had the date changed so many times. They have told the insurance co one thing, and proceeded to tell me another. So we have conflicting stories.They have no regards for their customers. They are only concerned with getting that insurance payment, and if that means you get sub-par service and a crappy repair they dont care.I will not return to them, and I have filed an official complaint with my insurance company.

It was two weeks before they could take my car. I dropped it off June 29. No follow up whatsover and I had to call them twice to see what was going on with my car and tried to find out when it would be ready. I expressed my irritation about no follow up and was told by Scott, who was very irritated with me, that it may be ready by Friday. I had just complained to my insurance company and they left a message for me saying that they were told that it would be ready on Wednesday! I received a call this morning saying that it wont be ready until Monday. When I dropped my car off, the parking lot was so full that people were parking anywhere they could and only 3 customers and myself in the office!I filed a complaint with my insurance company and will never use them again.
