Always have had a good experience here with friendly staff. On a recent trip grocery shopping, Sage was particularly patient with me, helping me find exactly what I needed. I could definitely feel the genuine care through the top tier customer service!!

He’d walked out of his nursing home and came to one of his favorite stores.I appreciate your kindness. He was very happy to be home again. Fred Meyer will always have a warm spot in my heart now.

As we all are aware a lot of restaurants are very understaffed. But I was just wondering I see a lot of stock people in the isles and right now on a Sunday the line is about literally 20 people deep and there’s only two lanes open. Is there anyway that you could train somebody on your self check out to help is this because there’s at least 20 people in line that have 10 or less thing that could go to self check out and about today my clothes right now on a Sunday

Grocery pick-up has really gone down hill. Now they often dont try to find substitutions for something that is out of stock. They have also charged me improperly or given me the wrong item multiple times. Today I was charged $17 for a $14 pack of meat. I also asked for 2lb of red potatoes and was given a single potato. I was also given fresh thyme instead of fresh rosemary. In the past, I have gotten the wrong salsa and cooking wine instead of red wine vinegar. When you are cooking, not having a single ingredient can prevent you from making an entire meal and lead to $$$$ in food waste.

This place has gotten so chronically understaffed that Im going to stop shopping there. They dont have enough cashiers so people with full shopping carts use the self checkout stations. This creates long lines so youre stuck waiting 10-15 minutes wondering if your frozen food will thaw before you get it home. Theres no space partitioned for the lines so people stand in the aisles with some buffer room between the aisle and checkout station for traffic. As a result, other shoppers usually dont see the lines and sometimes cut in front unless someone speaks up. It also makes it more difficult to browse the shelves in those aisles. The liquor section is like a store within a store, so if you want liquor and groceries you have to checkout twice! When they have sales the products tend to be out of stock. I can almost never find the smaller shopping carts, unless I take one from the parking lot. The parking lot is quite big with many access points, thats the one nice thing I can say.

Terrible sense of awareness in the pharmacy. Two people is not a long line and should not constitute a silent DMV purgatory. A sense of proactive helpfulness was not felt and I had to specifically point out I wanted all three of my medications filled, not only one. Two days was not enough to fulfill my request.Checkout cashier displayed symptoms of emotional burnout.In summation: likely understaffed.

My frequent place to go for food twice a week! Loving their membership cards cause they give you better price right on the bill that day! Helpful staff who guiding me when I first got here!

First of all they have FANTASTIC produce & specials each week. I easily save $20 - $30 on each trip compared to Safeway prices, so I happily buy EXTRA food AND share it with my friends & neighbors!

It was my first time at the Fred Meyer in Shoreline and unfortunately I went on a day and time where theres just one checkout counter open and I was in a rush. Rotten luck! And I only got two out of the five items on my list so I picked up a few more things to make the trip and waiting to check out feel worth it.Unlikely to come back here again.

I frequently visit this store because my neighbor works here but also confident with their covid protocols. I have had a nice man help me a few times named Gilbert. He is just so friendly and always working hard whenever I see him. I even complimented him to his fellow co worker a few lanes down who said “Gilbert is one of the hardest freight workers we have. He is truly a valued member of this team and we all look up to him” I have never had such a proud moment for someone, especially with very few people of color that work in this store. That man deserves employee of the month and a raise!! He makes an old lady not feel so old when asking questions concerning items in the store. Middle of the day Saturday and you have only half the self checkouts open and 2 lanes open. There are lines all the way to the back of the store.

I had great experience here. Max is a young man, very knowledgeable and good listener. I was about not to get one of most important item in my cart. I was about to disappointed because one of the clerk said that the item i was looking for is not available because; seasonal items not always available but Max, only heard and he came out with the right item on the hand. Wow, wow Max ***** thank you for excellent customer service. Managements should be glad to have you.

I called to ask if the western union desk was open because it was closed at lake city way, and the lady cut me off to say we are open until 10 and I said I know the store is open until 10, Im asking about the western union desk and she said WE ARE OPEN UNTIL 10... Then I get there and she was answering the phone while she was helping me with my western union and she was talking the same way to the other callers.Then she had the nerve to ask me do you even know the person you are sending money to and I said ...uhhhhh yeah? and she said just checking....No you werent. You were just being tacky.

Despite a decades-long blood oath that I would both* never get married, and if I did, I certainly wouldnt have a DIY wedding..... Here I am in the deli of the Stadium Fred Meyer, getting a deal on fancy meats.After a couple of weekends of price comparison research, we knew we could get high-quality charcuterie meats at Freddies for a great price.What we didnt know was that the staff would be happy to slice the packaged salami, etc, for us -- saving us valuable time and considerable effort. Not to mention they have a deli slicer and all we have is a kitchen knife.The butcher offered to do a few test cuts to see which thickness we preferred, and then sliced everything up and packaged it nicely. Hewas friendly and helpful, and provided this service free of charge.We also got great deals on other deli items, beverage mixers, and flowers for our small at-home wedding. I only wish this Fred Meyer could be transported to our neighborhood across town.

I called 10 min before closing and asked if they had a dry mouth spray - Biotene. The person who answered took the time to find it, told me which aisle it was on and where to find it on that aisle. I arrived 5 min before closing, bought the spray, and walked out - all before the store closed.Awesome!The only downside is that they are on the higher side for prices. When I shop for groceries, I have found Winco costs the least, Safeway is the next highest, and Fred Meyer is the most expensive.

I just had a job interview here with Roseanne the HR manager. I asked her a key question which I feel everyone should be asking. My question was what is Fred Meyer doing to keep employees and customers safe? To which she replied, were following policy about the masks. So I asked another question. If someone comes to my register, can I refuse service until they put a mask on? Her answer was no, were not turning anyone away, even if they dont want to wear a mask. I told her its the law in WA state though, to which she asked very rudely if I was arguing with her. I hadnt even been hired on yet and that was the way she was treating me. So it seems like our health and safety dont even matter to them as long as they make money. Needless to say, it was a hard pass for me. Only shop here if you want to support a money hungry company who doesnt care about its employees or customers.

I always like shopping in Fred Meyer. The prices are reasonable and they have good quality products in stock. As usual, most products were in stock, but obviously few items were not available due to the strained supply chain, and this is pretty much the same for all stores. The liquor section is slightly inconvenient due to a single cashier for all customers. The fuel reward is an added bonus.

A great store except for the liquor department, which has the most preposterous setup Ive ever seen. Its common to have to wait in line over 10 minutes because of the single cashier. I could drive to another store to buy alcohol and return home in the time it takes to get thru the line in peak hours, and I know because Ive timed myself doing both. I would advise buying your alcohol first so you dont have to worry about cold groceries getting too warm. Or going to a store that has a more sensible setup.

Staff here are so nice and professional. I was looking for a diploma cover for my license, they nicely told me there is only diploma album available so they introduced me another stores could have the diploma cover. Thanks!

Today while shopping @ the 18325 Aurora Ave N, Shoreline, WA 98133 location me and my suggificant other had the displeasure of being helped by Matthew older white mid 50s self check-out cashier who not only started off my experience with him by just starting at us like he was waiting for us to steal something but then proceeded to go through my groceries after the self -check stand had come up with an error msg and wouldnt let me know what was going on after repeating asking what was going on...?Becuase I had never seen that error msg while using a checkout stand before.He then still didnt proceed to tell me what was happening, then he asked what the last thing I scanned ...we then concluded that I missed scanning an item on accident and after correcting it on the screen went back to watching us like it was done on purpose. THIS ALL could have been avoided if he had just let us know what was going first place. I dont know if they hire whoever they can pull of the street over there but being able to communicate with customers should be a core ability u have to be able to perform if u are a grocery clerk...Ive shoped at this fred meyer multiple times a week and have never been treated so BADLY! I understand your store is on aurora 99 but just cause your store has a reputation having the highest theft in the area doesnt give the right to any employee to be the judge,jury and executioner when it was clear we were confused and just trying to buy or groceries...Bad look Matthew, a simple apology would have gone a long way my man customer service 101and Bad look and feels fred meyerI wont be coming back thanks for the bad memories!

My local Safeway had issues with immature and unprofessional staff, so I ventured down to this Fred Meyer and found well-mannered, efficient staff and well stocked, clean shelves. People do wear masks, and it’s clearly displayed “no mask, no service” as is the law. I’m happy to be at this Fred Meyer, and am recommending it to everyone!

Though is my favorite place to shop just sometime I dont like some of the workers there, like today I was in the line waiting to pay my purchase one girl just look but she didnt help me, look like didnt care or she is raciest. And always some items gets sold out when I visit Fred Meyer.

You only run self check out in the morning, you shut down self check out and kick people out of line at 6 pm when youre inordinately busy, you rifle through peoples bags at checkout like theyre thieves, your business practices are atrocious you should be ashamed

Ive shopped at this Fred Meyer for years and the new remodeling has only made it better. I have since needed to be on an anti inflammatory diet and with all of the new items, I now can find many at the store versus having to special order them. Also, I really appreciate their pharmacy staff, they have taken fantastic care of me and any needs I have. Thanks guys ♡

Warning!! Do not purchase a gift card from this Fred Meyer (or for that matter, any Fred Meyer). Your gift card balance WILL be stolen within a day or two. This has happened 3 separate times to me (different days, different gift cards), with me being out $650. I spoke with the manager, and while acknowledging that they are aware that this is happening, they would do nothing to refund my loss, and they do nothing to warn customers of this problem. I suggested they stop selling gift cards, as all cards are likely compromised, or at least put a sign up warning customers, but they have done nothing since we spoke. My suspicion is that the theft is from someone who works there. I even filed a police report against the theft.Fred Meyer corporate customer service is HORRIBLE. After spending hours on hold on the phone, they would do nothing for me, and were short and rude with me. Although I have shopped weekly at Fred Meyer for many years, certainly spending many thousands of dollars, they do not value their customers at all. They have no problem with a loyal customer of theirs being out $650 due to a defective product that they sold.

Fell in love with this store! One of the most awesome employees helped me out a few times. He knows my kids and how difficult it was for me to shop with them (two in wheelchairs and a very rambunctious 6 year old) so he would open a lane to get us out quickly! My kids got to know so many employees and already miss some of our favorite checkers.This is a large Freddys. Food selection is pretty awesome (decent natural foods section). Small electronics section but I have always found what I needed. Prices are a little high on some items so be prepared to spend a little bit if you are looking for furniture or home furnishings. Great selection of toiletries and cleaning items. I know people think the area is sketchy but its worth it if you live in Shoreline.

It was a ZOO! Because of the upcoming snow reported, literally all of Shoreline was shopping this afternoon. YIKES! The employees were great. A HUGE SHOUT OUT TO Peter in the Deli. He did a wonderful job checking us out. Way to go Peter!

Large but older store. They have a fairly good selection of organic food but could do better. They have most anything youd need for food, clothing, furniture, garden area, etc. This is almost always my first stop when looking for something since they have so many departments. Ive shopped their garden dept many times. Not huge a selection of plants and gardening supplies but usually find a treasure or two!

The store was fine, but the neighborhood and the clientele were downright scary. I would not return here without armed security, and I would definitely not recommend any of my loved ones shop here. Unfortunately, this store has become an accurate representation of the current socioeconomic conditions in Seattle in general.

Ok only three stars because of the front end manager having such a non customer focus attitude ..Service desk is awesome and the scan and go makes my life a little easier ( I like to take my time through the store) but it also gets me followed half the time when I use it..It does no good to have something like that if they are just going to follow you and make you feel uncomfortable.Other than that its Fred Meyer..

This Fred Meyer changed a lot in the remodel. The changes mean much, much variety and selection was lost in mens clothing. Housewares seem about the same, perhaps a bit less to choose from. Produce looks good, definitely better priced than Krogers other store (QFC) in this market. Too many self check stations, and not enough checker registers. Groceries spread out over more aisles than before with about the same selection.

This Fred Meyer is one of my favorite stores in the chain. Its relatively new and has a nice deli and cheese shop. You could furnish an apartment just shopping here, from hardware to clothing, this has it all. New ads come out on Sunday, the sales are often very good.

Customer Ser ice is excellent. Personnel very helpful. Cashier very polite and courteous and gave me information about points and gas price. A pleasure to go there.

Major remodel within the last year makes this a premier shopping experience. Much larger selection much better layout and as always often amazing bargains. Excellent staf as well.

Considering the store was packed pre second snow event to happen later today, I thought it went smoothly. They were out of stuff of course but not what I was there for. Shoppers and Associates all in pretty good moods!

Seriously why do people like these stores? They are absolutely awful. Check cashing is a joke and there is no clear information from their call center to their stores.

New layout is horrible. Items in the same category are spread across the store now. Sandwich meat with the cold single sodas instead of near the deli or sliced cheese. Very few checkout lines with cashiers at them. They have replaced half the cashiers with more selfcheckout registers where you bring a scanner with you and scan each item as you go. Maybe good for small shopping trips but your monthly large shopping trips for families now take twice as long.

The store looked nice but the dairy was disgusting. Every yogurt in the cooler that was in a box has the feeling that it has been left out to room temperature but I bought some anyway. Also bought some individual cups to compare and sure enough the yogurt had separated and obviously were at room temperature for far too long. The individual cups were oi good shape though.Most likely the store operators do not condone and its just some useless employees that need fired, but I would suggest avoiding the dairy department.

Recently remodeled, actually it looks like the remodel is still in progress, I had to look around a bit to find what I wanted. The grocery end is well stocked and I found what I needed both there and in housewears so thats good. Its serviceable, clean and well staffed. Well see how it goes.

Love Fred Meyers one stop shop! At least the one in Ballad anyway . I think sometimes the prices are little bit too high especially in the clothing department. It wouldnt be so bad if their clothing line was better. Its expensive for the type of clothing it is. The material is cheap, balls and snags easy...difficult to find attractive clothing in most of the departments except for the SportsLine.Love the pharmacy department! Great selection of produce, clothing, and others as always. The store itself doesnt feel as big as others. Access to the store is easy since there are multiple ways to enter and exit. No gas station here.

Lost a star with me since their remodel. the back end of store is gloomy and barely there. they have none of baby and kids clothes that I need and bought there daily. electronics is dumb.customer service location in store is dumb. this is my local store, I shop here everyday but It just sucks now. (I know immature words) but its all I can say.I miss old Fred Meyers

Remodeled with scan while you shop system. Thats the only reason I came here. I shop in Shoreline because I buy a lot of soda and Gatorade for football. This Fred Meyer not only has a wide variety of soda, it has that scan as you shop system. Checking out with all those items takes a while. But now, I fill up at least 2 carts, so I scan the sodas as Im putting them into my cart then it all uploads to the register. I save a ton of time and dont have to deal with angry cashiers. Game changer for me.

This Fred Meyer is pretty sketchy. Its not very clean, its cramped and crowded, and it doesnt feel safe. Even the non-expensive jeans are padlocked to the shelves. I was assisted by one person who smelled very bad, and its hard to not get claustrophobic with how small the isles are; especially when theyre busy. Id recommend hitting up another department store if you have the option.

I dont like the fact its all food and grocery. Barely any clothes, shoes or books and other items. If I wanted a HUGE store with only those items I can shop Costco. Huge disappointment, cant find anything. Hate it. Sears is gone and Freddies had an opportunity to seize on that. Nope. Big snooze fest.

I didnt like being charged full price for a sale item. Had to get in another line to get refund. Other than that, it was a nice visit. Workers helpful and friendly.

Easy to find what youre looking for, employees are nice and very helpful if you cant find something. Theres lots of U-scan or check stands open for an easy checkout

Convenient, friendly service, has a Starbucks & good prices but the best part about this Fred Meyer is that they have public restrooms! If you live in Seattle, thats a rare commodity. Thank you Fred Meyers for understanding most of us do our shopping after a long commute!

Freddy always has what I need with well stocked shelves. Fair prices and no club card needed a plus. They have everything here!

Great location and they basically have everything I need. Plus there is frozen yogurt and menchies right next door. Not so long ago I used to avoid this place because the lines sucked. They have since added a dozen self checkout registers. The lines are way shorter again. That is why they get 4 stars and not 3.

I have called this store needing some information about what is on my receipt. Due to it being the day after Christmas, they had told me that the store is very busy and that I would need to come in. I asked if I could be placed on hold due to this being very important, I am investigating possible fraud for clients with disabilities and the lady didnt want to help me at all. I wont be going to this Fred Meyer any more, the one in Lynnwood is much nicer and helped me out.

They are going through a remodel right now. Its going to be a beautiful store. I shop here daily as Fred Meyer is one of my favorite places to go when I need anything.

Most of this Fred Meyer is great, but the deli area is totally weak. Staff openly ignore you and theyre usually out of sandwiches and/or the fryer for the chicken is broken. Id rather go to the QFC up the road, it may be smaller but at least you dont have to wait forever for someone.

Seems like everyone but me loves this place. I suffer from a rare dorm of ptsd from dealing with Freddies. Went in the other day only because I needed an inner tube, but itd been a LONG time since Id frequented the store.

The store was busy, but every isle was properly stocked & shelves were faced. I was able to find everything I needed.

One-stop shopping: This place has everything from groceries to camping gear, with great prices. Expect long lines to check out. Also, in the parking lot: Many competitive people are always searching for good parking spots. Ive also encountered a lot of homeless folks looking for handouts.

The supermarket section is packed today!. Good prices, ample product on shelves, & friendly staff. Good location and OK parking.

Annoyingly heavy security a lot of the time; like, if you look at all out of the ordinary prepare to be followed by security folk with nothing better to do. Other than that, average Freddys - just a big sprawling place full of groceries, anything else you want or need to buy, and a bunch of other stuff you dont need, too.

Whats with the homeless hanging out all over the store? Makes you feel unsafe. Especially when you see a manager more concerned with taking pics of their employees for a breakroom collage instead of paying attention to the aggressive non shoppers of the store. Get some Security guards, instead of a cage around your liquor.

Love this Freddies, great associates and a wonderful deli staff and cook. They say first impressions are the most important, these guys made my trip worth the trouble. Ill be back soon

Very strange layout. Looks much like a Macys when you first enter. Very different from other Fred Meyers. With that said, nothing wrong with this place. They have ample parking and a diverse selection of almost everything. Just the lack of effort on their end to make it look like a Fred Meyer (or even Kroger) instead of a Macys is annoying.

Cashier was very nice but I bought some things that werent pricedn down like the woman in the Apparel said, she lied to my face and said anything else in a really snotty tome. I usually go to Safeway now I know why. I wanted so much to like Fred Meyer but couldnt. I am truly disappointed. And to think as much as I spent, looks like they struck out.

Its an older Fred Meyer s but what sets this one apart is it employees. Always helpful and happy people. Finding a parking spot sometimes a challenge but a great place to do your shopping.

They changed the layout of the store and it was very confusing and chaotic. Store was a lot more crowded than normal. Hopefully it goes back to the old at home like feel with amazing customer service as it used to be.

I never usually write reviews but Im just mad this morning. I have been coming to this very location once a week for the past 7years. I used to know everywhere in the store until the recent renovation. This morning, all the cashiers seem they woke up on the wrong side of the bed. Not smiling, I got in line and a cashier tells me the other one is open while her light is still on. I moved on to the next lane and I get an angry face. I tried to be nice and asked how she was doing and I was totally ignored. What a nice way to treat a customer.

After the remodel, it looks great. But still think the Fred Meyer on 85th Ave has more fresh seafood selection.

Great store. Friendly staff. Clean produce area. Their produce prices are the best around - sometimes organic is the same price as conventional. Good selection of natural/specialty food items for those with special diets, but this part of the store is quite expensive. However, I still shop here often for the produce prices. Mainly I buy small produce and household items here, and get most other items at Costco.
