Safeway store director, if you see this message, please help the residents live behind your building by improving the management of your rear area within your premise. Currently its full of trash, cars (private and commercial) are parked everywhere and some vehicles have been there since the beginning of the year. Needles were also occasionally found on the ground. We have families and kids that wish to have a safe and clean environment. We talked to a store director earlier in June and was told some pretty nice plans to make things better for this area but none has been done since then. Please give attention to whats going on there and help regulate/manage. Thanks.I submitted a official claim to Safeway website but have not received update yet. Tried to call Store director’s cell but that number is always connected to a voicemail. This back area is not only dirty but parking needs to be regulated too. Someone even parked permanently and sleep in their cars. Safeway, please address this issue.

I really cant believe that this Safeway near my home has become the “home” of homeless people. They have lived here for a long time. Trucks were parked everywhere. Garbage and weeds were everywhere, and I even saw syringes there. We have contacted John, the store director, many times, and asked him if he could do something, but so far nothing has been done. I dont know how Safeway can manages its stores like this. We have also tried to complain at Safeway headquarter, but we havent received any reply. I am very upset that Safeway ignores our complaints and demands. Please fix this as soon as possible so we can have a safe, clean and comfortable living environment. In this situation, I would never want to go shopping at Safeway.

The horrible fragrance of the hand sanitizer used by the employee bagging the groceries made all our food smell terrible. It’s so strong our pasta tastes like perfume. Unacceptable for any business that sells food. No one wants to eat stuff that smells like musk and other artificial fragrances, especially not anyone who is sensitive to those fragrances.Maybe Safeway should buy fragrance-free hand sanitizer for all it’s employees and put in a policy that they can’t wear perfume.

Pretty standard Safeway, well kept and clean. The deli is particularly good. Great beer selection at this particular Safeway, people are plenty friendly, and on my last trip did not see one person not wearing a mask. Which in my opinion is a great thing.

This store is one of the smaller ones with the friendliest workers that are always ready to help you find what you need or special order item not regularly stocked. The store is kept up to date with all new remodeling and every thing is kept very clean including the parking lot.Good prices of a large chain store with a small community personal feeling. This is my fav Safeway. It was my first job yrs ago. I live 15 mins away from it now but I still wont switch my pharmacy. The staff always always always helps me w making sure I get my refills. They are the best. Always.

I am a long time shopper here but recently the shelves have been missing key items even though the tags are still there, brands and items that have been staples in my household are now out of stock on a regular basis and the chicken tenders in the deli are awful, when I inquired about this I was told we only use the good tenders for the spicy ones, very disappointed.

Its Safeway, they gave great deals. The only place I do my grocery shopping.

My go to place for produce and fresh clams. The staff is always nice enough to take the time to pick out smaller clams for me. Oh and lets not forget their cheese department. Love it

Shop online and pick up is the way to go. No delivery charges and no going inside the store.

No one ever looks happy here, and rightfully so. I wouldnt want to work at a grocery store during a pandemic. That being said, a big thanks to all the hard-working people keeping food on the shelves and the stores clean.

Must share - incredible service from Evan and Jimmy (Im pretty sure these were your names? You know who you are!) during the snowstorm this past weekend. I had placed a pickup order for Saturday when the roads first got rough, and they tried to deliver with no luck turning onto our road. Our vehicle was still completely stuck the next day and the snow was starting up again, so they tried *again* with a truck. When they still couldnt get up onto our street, they parked blocks away and WALKED our groceries up a snowy hill to our house. Couldnt believe it. We had run out of milk for my daughters and they went above and beyond. Thank you again!

I shop here regularly and all the associates and management are very nice. Today in particular, I was in the 15 or less check out line and the woman (Jennifer is her name on my receipt) went out of her way and paid for the womans chips in front of me because she could not afford it. Not only did she do this, but she was so upbeat and positive and I watched her literally compliment every customer in her lane. Cashiers who go out of their way for customers from the kindness from their heart should be recognized.

There was a sticker on one of the peppers in the Kung pao chicken at the deli counter. We were starving and opted for the chow mein (some noodles were over cooked, but generally edible), fried rice, sweet & sour chicken, orange chicken, & egg roll all tasty for a grocery deliOn most of our past visits: Gloria in the deli makes the best turkey pesto avocado sandwiches! Freddie clearly hates making sandwiches. I am sometimes concerned about the state of the board the sandwiches are made on; it doesnt look very clean sometimes.

My wife especially shops there regularly as it is less than a mile from our home. Product quality, variety and service is usually excellent!

The only late night grocery store in my area....would give it 5 stars just for the timings...veggies were also fresh at 11:30 pm.

Really great selection of high quality vegetables, breads, meat, diary, smoked fish, cheese, olives and almost anything else you need for a great dinner. Parking available. Nice selection of prepared foods. Prices are a bit steep sometimes but if you want the best or need some unusual ingredients this is the place to go.

I was nearby this Safeway last evening and decided to drop in to pick up a few items. I was pleased to find Refreshe spring water in stock, my favorite out of all the overpriced, fancy dancy waters out there. I was beginning to think Safeway had discontinued it due to poor sales, but it turns out being yet another example of poor ordering on the part of Pinehurst Safeway; Im not surprised. Clean and well stocked; friendly employees.

Decent store but long lines at check out! We stopped by for only 3 things. There werent enough check out stations and only 3 cashiers working. Worse yet theres no self checks! We had to wait about 15 mn in line. There were long lines and hardly enough space to stand. Not coming back to this store.

In and out. I dont ever have the need to buy 5 boxes of cheerios to get the sale price. Who thought of this scam. Also watch out for Safeway bagged coffee. Comes in 10, 11, and 12oz bags. All for the same price. The only one that does this. Shame on Safeway

I had called prior to visiting to see if they had a certain product. Employee went and checked herself to ensure they had what I was looking for (Raid Wasp and Hornet Spray). Thanked her and was told to ask for her if I needed any help when I arrived. Ended up at the register she was handling. Very nice, pleasant, and upbeat. Good customer service.(Her name is a variation of Brittney, but I didnt have my glasses on. Good employee.)
