I would honestly not even give this place a full star. Costumer service is horrible. I have seen a lot of talk of this so called Ginger fellow whom is absolutely rude. Well folks, its true. My kids went in to spend their money from Christmas and didnt get a smile or a thank you nothing from this guy. I spent a good $800 in one visit and when called to ask about one of my shipments I was treated as if I didnt matter because he did not want to deal with me or helping me. That is his job and what he gets paid for. I asked for a Manager and saddly he told me he was. I hope that is not the case. Last but certainly not least, says on the door they close at 8. Went in to return something at 6:30 and they just closed. No sign, if you call they do not pick up. Its just ran by the wrong people I guess.

I just want to say that not only did the female cashier help and answer so many questions but...yes Im gonna call her out specifically.....LOGAN actually helped my son stay sharp on his math skills over the summer!I cannot explain how grateful I am that she helped but the fact that she was willing to help a mother and a child was amazing to me! Logan i hope you read this and see what a difference you made and please show your manager because you are making a difference in peoples lives....THANK YOU!

The store is clean and professional with a large selection of new games and toys but I could only find one rack with a selection of games for older consoles and most of them were just one generation back.

Used proper precautions, and it looks clean in there, and the guy at the counter always answers my kids 1000 questions, and stays patient. Seems to like his job

Great services!I go here during lunch break at work and Every time I go in (regardless of whos working) I always have great conversations and get fantastic input on new games, old games, etc.The employees seem very passionate about gaming and wanting to satisfy your needs so that you too can enjoy and find whatever it is you want/need.

The man that works here as soon as i stepped in the door was super rude just wanted me to leave immediately refusing me an x box one..saying he would have one delivered to me instead when its my sons birthday and I needed it today. I have bought several systems at this store and I will NEVERRRRRR come here again. Very rude super tall man with pony tail.

They never seem to have a very good new game selection. They are big into used games and thats ok but when new games come out it would be nice if they kept it in stock.

Im not sure why a game store would not carry any controllers for the systems and games that they sell. I went in today and there were no ps4 or Xbox1 controllers in stock. What is the point in having a store if I have to order my things online. Wouldnt it be easier to just have them shipped to my door?

They should go out of business. Never have anything that you need. Always out of items.

Lacking in inventory and personnel

The Clerk Saturday was less than qualified to work here. We was unfamiliar with their POS system, stared blankly when asked questions, and never provided an answer - a trained monkey could have serviced the store better.

Buying things unless “member” is a rip off to purchase game systems. They will not refund you a purchase. The only way you get a “refund” is if you return it with in “7 days” buy a system from Walmart, Amazon, or Best Buy. This stores return policy is a sham.You have been warned Shelbyville folksAnything else is good if you want to do “trade in value” or good games could be found here sometimes for cheap, if it’s in “used” condition. Just think twice before stepping here Black Friday sales, and holiday sales.

Completely incompetent workers. I tried to trade in my console for an upgrade with a promotion that was on their website. The workers wouldn’t take my Xbox as they claimed it didn’t work. It very clearly did work as I was using it the night before and that same night after they wouldn’t take it. They also then told me it didn’t matter because the promotion was over. After a quick glance back at their website I saw the promotion was still God’s for another week

This was my go to store growing up, I cant even begin to tell you how much of my money used to end up here. However as the years have gone on Gamestop has only went downhill. There are less and less reasons to buy from them. Their prices are easily beaten by Disc Replay, Amazon, and even Best Buy. The staff is a 50/50 situation. Sometimes you will get people in there that are both highly knowledgeable and helpful, but youre just as likely to get blank stares and shoulder shrugs all while pushing you to become a pro member. Thats the other thing, being a pro member used to actually feel worth it. Then they introduced the Elite Pro membership, and it was great. You could save a ton of money, and get a lot of points. However, they did away with that after only a short time and are back to the basic pro that really doesnt entitle you to any better of a deal than you can get at any other store. Its not that Gamestop is terrible, its just that they used to be great, and honestly now theres really just no reason to go there over anywhere else.

It was not a good experience I hate to give low reviews but really. I really dont think one person knew I was in the store, I was just looking around but I could have been asked if I needed something. Ive since can back to Gamestop, service has gotten much better.

They have games that are backwards compatible which makes my life so much easier to play games that arent on the right console.

GameStop always has what I want/need, and usually at prices comparable to what I can find online. Who doesnt love immediate gratification?A tip: If you are going to order online, ordering site to store allows you to get the best price whole ensuring that you can go in person to a store if there was an issue. I learned this lesson the hard way after ordering a PS3 online for my daughter. The store employees are ALWAYS more helpful than calling the customer helpline.

Best Gamestop I have ever been inside. Manager (Christin) is always extremely nice and helpful. Have always been treated very well, even if I dont purchase or preorder anything.

Lots of things for good prices

After comparing prices I decided to buy my Playstation 4 and a few games from here. Their used prices seemed fair, new prices were same as online sellers and other big box stores. I have not played video games for some time, so was not up to date on all the new stuff.What made me choose here was the staffs knowledge of all the game systems and games, and helped me decide I would prefer the PS4 over XBox 1 system based on the types of games I play. The staff was also very helpful in helping me choose which games were best once I told them what I like to play.If youre a big time gamer you would not need all their assistance, but I did, and it was very helpful. I am glad they hire experienced gamers and not just anyone who applies and is willing to show up.

This place needs to work on its communication skills. I go in to trade my Xbox one and some games. Games went fine. Xbox one is a different story if I go back in with it it will be my 4th trip to the store before it gets traded. First trip it wouldnt display on there TV. Took it home worked fine on 2 different tvs. Took it back to Game Stop thinking maybe he plugged it into the wrong HDMI port. Ones again it didnt display. So I took it home and figured out that in the settings I had it set for 1080p so I changed it to 720p (you think they might have known that it needed set to this to show up on there TV especially when I asked them if it could have been something in the settings and I was talking to the Manager ) working fine at home and one of my Tvs are smaller so I take it with me just in case to show them that it works, but I was pretty confident it would display on there TV know. Yes it did it showed up on there TV. But guess what it had been 4 months since I had it online so after all that they still considered it defective unless I take it home and update it and bring it back. Im like you have to be kidding me this could have been taken care of in 2 trips which to me from my house is about 18 total miles which they have turned into about 72 miles that could have been completely avoided if they had communicated what needed to be done to the Xbox to make it an acceptable trade! Not a happy camper!

I LOVE Gamestop!! I mean they have always had whatever I wanted and the prices are good on almost everything. But the only one issue I have is that I wouldnt recommend trying to sell something there. The reason for this is because say you pay $300.00 on an Xbox or something, If you bring it back and try to sell it they may give you like $50.00. So overall I love gamestop they just rip you off sometimes when you are trying to sell something. But I still very highly recommend getting you games and consoles etc. there.

Twice ive bought a used game in the last 90 days from this location. Games wouldnt work, too many deep scratches for my ps4 or wii U to stomach reading. On both occasions the return process was horrific. The staff hereare ignorant when it comes to customer service skills. Id advise staying away from here and visiting another location.

The employees didnt help me at all. They kept telling me to call the customer support, I wasted over an hour and a half trying to find out about this backpack that was offered on their ad, but it was apparently a while supplies last thing to bad the employees didnt tell me that. Wont be coming back. And this was after they blew me off and told me to come in the next day theyall have them in stock.
