Interesting place. Cheaper tools from the big box stores for sure, but Im concerned about the quality. Still, for the prices, its worth a look. Especially for low end tool and hardware ends. I could see me spending alot of money to expand my toolbox.

Yet another shining example of a Harbor Freight store. Well stocked and clean, organized and, of course, super great prices. Staff here is beyond nice and attentive. Very customer centric. Go there! Get tools! Be happy!

Incredibly nice people. The manager got everything for us since my father is disabled. They put our purchase in the car for us. Explained our receipt and the warranty. I really appreciated her and her employees.

The store was not what I expected. I have not heard good things about their tools and quality, but decided to give them a try on an inexpensive belt sander. The employees that I encountered on my first trip were very friendly and helpful. Checkout was super quick, despite there being only two registers they moved customers quickly. Reviews of the products that I purchased are in the four to five star range and if the two survived one project then it will have paid for itself. I look forward to returning to try other inexpensive products.

I would like to give a higher rating but I felt the inventory was lacking. Nothing seemed fully stocked. Is this how it is normally? Maybe, due to Covid and other National climate events, they are unable to keep a full inventory? Or perhaps they are constantly selling out of inventory and finding it difficult to keep up with the demand? In either scenario, prices were very good. I purchased an axe and a hatchet. Im happy with my purchases. Check it out.

Been having some issues with my membership and brought it to store member attention. Later that same day was contacted by manager apologizing for the inconvenience and she took care of it right away. Excellent service from team members and management!!!

Went in to buy a hole saw. Walked out with four. They look to be really good quality. Also picked up a couple of magnetic nut drivers. Also seem to be of very good quality. I always find a good deal at Harbor Freight. And the people are always very friendly and willing to help you.

Rated on my 1st. visit here in comparison to my Barry Rd. HF store located in the northland of KC.. Immediately impressed with more selection of tools & displays in a larger store. With much more parking so you can focus on shopping & not wondering if your purchase comes with a complementary custom door ding!😁

Harbor Freight does have quality tools. Some are cheap (perfect for occasional use) and they have quality tools that work well and last.

This was a fantastic experience. I held up the line. Very busy place..They had to verify and pull product. Thaddeus was terrific. Loaded me up after I had to switch vehicles.

Approached a couple of staff engaged in a conversation with each other who acted annoyed when I asked for assistance. Never again will I darken the halls of a place like this.

Bought a horizontal metal bandsaw a few weeks ago and it worked great. Out of nowhere the motor started to make an awful noise, kinda like the bearings were already gone on it. I took a video of the issue and week back to The Shawnee Mission parkway location. I showed the manage the video and without giving it a second thought he said to bring the saw back in and he will trade it out for a new one. You can’t beat that level of customer service. The bigger hardware stores would tell you to pound sand.

Great place to shop, very professional

The prices are extremely affordable and I heard that the warranties are excellent. I went to just buy some batteries which were a lot cheaper than you find at most areas. On top of that there are always coupons on their website that you can use. I was able to get 9V batteries, D batteries, and 24 of each AA and AAA batteries with the coupon taking two dollars off each pack for under 9 dollars.

This location only, supervisor Thadeus refused a simple exchange for defective LED light returned new in the box. I was unable to remember which of the several metro stores I made the purchase. I am a frequent shopper at several locations. This is a great company and this employee reflects poorly Harbor Freights mission.

Great place for tools. At least 50% cheaper than everywhere else. Unless you’re having to use the tools every day all day I don’t see a reason to spend that much on something you’ll use maybe a few times a year. Definitely recommend.

Fantastic service. Bought a wood chipper and they proactively gave me a coupon that saved me $30 or so on top of the sale, without me requesting it. Then helped me unpack from the crate and load it into my car, which would have been very difficult without help. You can tell the employees care and all had excellent attitudes. Go here first before going to the big box stores and you could save some cash and have great service!Edit: sadly the chipper is not worth the $400+. I meticulously followed the instructions and it would not even start. Sadly, the poor quality product ruined an otherwise wonderful experience. Makes it worth zero dollars, absolutely worthless machine. I will be returning it tomorrow and update my score from that interaction.Next day update: returned the faulty unit. They were extremely accommodating and couldnt have asked for better service. The clerk at the front said she was surprised, because they hear good things about them. Took her on that opinion and did a straight swap to see if another one would work (as in start at all). Got home, meticulously went through the instructions again and it started up on its first pull. Letting it go through the 3 hour break in cycle right now, just running at low settings without using it through a tank of gas.

Almost got what I needed at the Olathe location, the cashier helped me find my rock tumbler but no one else seemed interested in getting the stock from the back to sell it. He should be the example. Be aware if the website says it is there does not mean the a customer service person will help you find it.

Not the best stuff that a person can buy. If I was purchasing something for every day work Id go elsewhere. However if Im buying something for a around my home project or two its great stuff and you wont beat their prices. If you get into their more pricey merchandise then periodically one might buy their extended warranty. Extended warranties is where I give an absolute 5 stars to Harbor Freight. Never issues, no lengthy forms to fill out and no 3rd party vendors to deal with. If you buy an extended warranty from Harbor Freight and anything goes wrong, Harbor Freight makes it right immediately.

My go to place.. enjoy the people and the specials! Great selection for all projects.

Great place to fine a power or manual tool. Tools are not Snap On quality, but the prices are much better and they work fine for most of us.

I love shopping at Harbor Freight! For the prices they offer, the quality is pretty good. Especially for smaller hand tools, and the little odds and ends. Your dollar goes a lot farther here. The staff is always friendly and helpful too, which makes the shipping experience that much more enjoyable. Its definitely worth a stop in there.

Its a great place to buy tools and you need to be careful what you by there. Some things are excellent for the price and other things are not. For example they have excellent floor jacks. I bought one of their better ones and love it. Very good price.
