Purchased a riding mower this weekend, and it was a very pleasant experience. You definitely feel like youre working local, versus going with a big box store. They treated me very fairly, and I got a good price, plus they worked with me on delivery and offered general pointers. Best experience in town after shopping other places first!

My wife and I have visited the web site to shop and compare products and value. Then we visited the store for information and assistance. All of our many questions were answered along with information that we had not considered. The sales people were friendly, welcoming and knowledgeable. They also gave us time and space to shop and discuss privately so we didn’t feel pressured into a decision. We found that the Shawnee OK Hometown Store has a large range of products and great prices. We bought a refrigerator and a washer and dryer. While we were at the store we saw some fantastic prices on tools and other home items and gifts for the grandchildren. Each of our purchases were not only good buys, but have been used and enjoyed. The delivery of our large items was timely and installed with excellence. We have been very pleased with all of our experiences at the Shawnee Hometown store.

I just tried to purchase a lawnmower belt and requested that the clerk measure it for me, as I had already purchased one that was too long. He said he would not do that-it was too much trouble to put it back in the package. He told me I could buy it, measure it, and return it. Is this how “hometown” business is done?

O my goodness, Im so glad my on line purchase got accidentally sent to this place! I never k ew this Sears existed! Now I do and Ill be shopping there way more often! I went to pick up a lawnmower and the gentleman that works there (I believe that owner) but he stayed late just so that we could get it tonight! We bought a weedeater from the store on 8/8/18. After using it on our property to weed eat around it broke down. We took it back on 8/31/18 and was told within a day or two or money would be refunded. We are now going on almost two weeks and we are being told the same thing over and over again. The manager keeps telling us he needs to get approval from the district manager. We have our receipt, have called almost daily, & continue to get the run around!!! I am very disappointed! I will be contacting the BBB and Consumer Affairs and filing a complaint against Sears for poor Customer service and not following through with their Money back guarantee!
