The first time I visited this location I accidentally went on the furniture side versus the side with the appliances - which is where I wanted to be - and the two gentlemen there ignored me as if I wasn’t there; and only one even acknowledged me after I spoke up. When I was walking out I was really contemplating whether or not I wanted to do business with this company, but after I made it to the appliance side I was pleasantly surprised when the staff greeted me shortly after I entered the store and asked what I needed help with, which made me glad I gave them a chance. I didn’t purchase that day but I returned a second time and I met George during that visit. George, just like the “appliance associates” I’d met previously, was very pleasant and helpful, and he even followed up with me as promised. I’m so appreciative of his professionalism and interest in helping me purchase what I needed. Many thanks to George and the “crew next door”!

I walked into the store and was immediately given excellent customer service by Lori and Sarah. I explained that I was a case manager looking to help a client with new appliances, and they offered us an amazing deal on FOUR critical appliances for this family. They went above and beyond to pick quality, matching items that fit within our funding budget. I just cant say enough good things about this store and the great employees who work there!

I went to 3 of American Freights locations and George Powell at the Shawnee location was so helpful. I have been looking for a refrigerator for a couple of weeks now and really didn’t now what I wanted and George walked me through the options and I brought a new one yesterday. Thanks so much George for being so helpful and not pressuring me.

Upon entering the store and walking back to the refrigerators, I was greeted by Lori, she was cleaning the inside of a new refrigerator and stopped what she was doing to give me excellent customer service. She was focused and listened to what I was looking for and then allowed me time to consider my options without pressure. She helped me with excellent product knowledge, price point and a friendly smile, she should be a trainer for all associates or managing a store of her own, you would have the best sales team around. Be careful with purchasing major appliances! They don’t accept returns which u don’t find out until the end of the transaction. Price was only $20 less than Lowe’s! Stick to Lowe’s!!

You will be able to find a good appliance, but be very careful with these people. We bought a great refrigerator but it was missing most of the door shelves. They repeatedly told us they were in the mail, ended up getting them direct from the manufacturer. Also, if you buy an appliance here it is under the manufacturers warranty! Do not let them sell you their scam warranty. Again, good products but be careful.

The store manager was amazing. Can’t say enough about her. She is one of a kind, and will help you in any way! Pretty girl, with a big heart. Don’t get that kind of service anymore. Thanks.

Staff is friendly, and definitely good deals. Please though do not buy the insurance with the appliances. I bought a refrigerator and purchased the 3 year warranty for an extra $500. The refrigerator went bad after 18 months. We lost all of our food. They would not send someone out for the warranty for three weeks. We had no fridge for 3 weeks. Then I had to leave work and stay home for a 4 hour window and nobody showed up. I got an email saying it was being rescheduled for a 4 hour window another week from now. I still have been unable to get them out to look at my fridge and its been a month.As an update, my refrigerator did get fixed, but it took two months with no fridge before it happened.

We went in a couple of weeks ago to purchase a new washer and dryer. Thankfully they were open during the shelter in place order because we were able to save hundreds of dollars. I felt comfortable in the store because they were adhering to a strict capacity. At one point, they asked an employee to go to the break room. Kevin assisted us in selecting our washer and dryer. He was very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. We were able to quickly select the washer and dryer that best fit my needs since Kevin answered all of our questions thoroughly. The check out process was quick. Our appliances are set to be installed this week.

Latonya was super helpful today. She was extremely polite and respectful. She was patient with us and was able to answer whatever questions we asked. She took the time to explain and break everything down for us. It made this experience that much better for us. We were able to pick out our appliances and get everything set up for delivery. We were very happy and would definitely recommend this place to anyone 👍🏾

We found our fridge, washer and dryer here. The staff are knowledgeable and great to work with. Our fridge was damaged during delivery and they worked with us to replace it. If you are in the market for any appliance I would suggest checking them out first. We got all our appliances (that look just as nice as the would out of the box) for a GREAT price.

The service buying it wasnt bad. You can negotiate prices. But the delivery system is horrible.We had the delivery 2 months in advance.. There are no notifications on delivery or any reminders. I called two times. One time the guy did get me a 3 hour window. And said they narrow it down by 4pm. That time went by. Called again. Manager said she has no access. At 630. Called. Said there a delivery issues. Manager will call. Waited an hour. Called again. Said he has no clue what the issue is but the delivery truck there. So apparently I wasnt getting it tonight. Called the next day. Didnt answer the phone for 2 hours till I put the caller ID blocker on and got an instant answer. Tried telling us we get it in the next 4 days but not sure when. Finally after explaining we had this on the books for two months for delivery for yesterday he finally figured a way to get it today. The delivery guys scratched our floors and didnt even know how to level the fridge. Feel like I should of got paid for be a manager of them.

Ordered a recliner, was charged for the recliner. Got an email showing the order went thru. Bank charge went from pending to posted with no response. Store claims my order doesn’t exist and refuses to look at email. Tells me to call customer service. Customer service says they can’t do anything and refers me to another number which only gives me an option to leave a voicemail to a “supervisor” who never returns the call. Getting a Lawyer.

Phil was AMAZING! He walked me around to what I wanted, showed me all matching and coordinating furniture, and best of all I didn’t feel pressured to buy stuff I don’t need. All of the staff were very respectful and nice. I’m definitely recommending this store to my friends and family.

Pablo started helping me today. He was available, patient, and knowledgeable. Kevin took over and was also exceedingly helpful with my final purchase and with setting up delivery. Both of them took the time to help me find a kitchen appliance set within my budget and within my space limitations.I keep coming back to this store. The staff provides such great old-school customer service, which is not something frequently encountered at an outlet store. Lori the manager is exceptional as well and has helped me get the best deals for my fix and flip houses. The store isn’t particularly gorgeous inside, but I’m there for purchase help and great prices, and I get both and more! It keeps turning out to be a wonderful experience.

I give American freight 2 stars due to the following:-Salesman was off-putting. Didn’t seem to know anything and didn’t seem to want to commit to anything. I’m not trying to be mean either; it just felt like every question was answered with an ambiguous deflection for us to figure out the answer on their products by ourselves. Was strange.-Pricing seems fair at first but seeing as the items aren’t new and nothing could be guaranteed about the products, when we attempted to purchase a refrigerator and barter to a reasonable price, we were unable to.-Delivery would have been costly and time consuming.Combine all of that and we ended up purchasing the same (only new and current) product with factory warranty AND better and longer extended warranty at Goedeker’s at a better price and the employees we called and chatted with were very knowledgeable, helpful, and nice. Was worth the effort of shopping around.So based off our experience, unless/until their sales associates learn to care more for their customers, and their prices (both product, warranty, and delivery) are more competitive and intuitively fair, I can’t recommend shopping here.

We purchased arrange and have it delivered a couple of weeks ago. we noticed that the grid had a broken leg and Lori and Pablo were instrumental in helping us get a new grid ordered under our warranty. These two spent the past several days locating the correct part and getting it ordered for us. Thank you both of you so much for everything you did for us.

My son purchased a top of the line dishwasher online for me for mothers day from this store, he received two confirmation emails and when he went to pick it up, they didnt have it and it took a heated verbal exchange for them to refund his money. We spent hours researching exactly what we wanted, only to be told, sorry we dont have that one after all.

Pablo who helped us was incredibly professional and helpful. We came back 2 days in a row looking for a great deal and he remembered us and was very helpful. We ended up going with a different place for our appliances, but I would highly recommend this location for deals and we’ll definitely be coming back.

Went in looking for larger upright freezer. Checked out the only 2 they had. Not 1 person came up to ask if we needed assistance. Customer Service has really gone downhill with this place since all the chain location Sears have closed. We drove up north to Nebraska Furniture Mart and found someone who was willing to help us. Spent a little more but was well worth it for the Customer Service.

My husband and I went to the sears outlet in Shawnee today to find a washer, because ours went out and we needed to do laundry. The salesman Pablo was amazing!! He found us a great washer with a killer deal including an extended warranty. He went above and beyond, we needed it today and don’t have a vehicle that it would fit in. He loaded it up in his own car and drove it to us. He then proceeded to hook it up no questions asked because we didn’t know how. I’ve never seen better customer service anywhere!! This is as stated an Outlet Store. There are not a lot of varieties. Have a large supply of refrigerators for sale. Prices are effective and cause for discount is often undecernable. Large parking area. Somewhat unnoticeable storefront amongst parking area. Not a lot of employees to assist customers.

We found better appliances than we could have hoped to afford regularly and all they had was a slight scratch. Once we finished picking out what we needed we worked with Pablo Stanford to check out. Pablo is a fantastic salesman, very helpful and friendly. I would recommend this store to anyone looking for new appliances.

This is the third time I have used sears to replace an appliance! I have bought my washer/dryer set, dishwasher, and this time went back again to get an electric dryer since I no longer have a hook up for the previous gas dryer. We’ve heard they have been under new management and the store moral has since improved.We’re definitely keeping Sears Outlet on our radar for future purchases!

I was returning 1 appliance and exchanging for another so they were not making much money on the new transaction. They were informative and thorough. They were both great and very personable. Honestly, this place is like the island of misfit appliances. But I needed a new microwave and Sears Outlet was recommended by a friend. It worked out better than I had expected. I found a much nicer model for less than we would have paid for a new in the box model. It has a 2 year warranty, we can return it in 30 days and it has no visible dents, dings or scratches. We will be purchasing appliances here again.

We went in looking for a new refrigerator to replace the side by side in our kitchen. Derek, the manager, immediately helped us on our search. He explained to us the difference between all the brands and types. I have very little patience in general for these types of purchases. But he managed to make it pretty easy and we found exactly what we wanted. It showed up today and everything is perfect. We will definitely be buying from only them in the future.

So a few months ago I bought a few appliances from Pablo. The buying experience was outstanding. He was very knowledgeable and kind. My washer stopped working so I called and Pablo answered the phone and informed me I had bought the protection plan on my washer, that their service department will come out at no cost and fix it or replace it. I came in a few days ago, because the technician said they were gonna replace it and gave me MORE MONEY than what I paid for it originally!!!! Pablo was there again and was of course amazing! 10/10 RECOMMEND THE PROTECTION AS WELL AS PABLO!!
