My son and I went there to pick up a game for his Xbox 360. The woman helping us was awesome! She verified with me that it was okay for my son to be purchasing an M rated game. Some may consider that overreaching, for me, the energy behind her question came from a place of, Hey, in case you dont know... which is great for someone like me. I wasnt paying attention, I trust my kid.. and at the same time, I appreciated being informed.This woman was friendly, kind, and caring. I appreciated interacting with her.

One of our favorite places to shop for Funkos. Danae is great! So glad to see that the rest of the staff is easy to talk to and although working with the public isnt always easy, they always seem to have a positive outlook (even on the hard days).

Brought my daughter in to get a birthday gift. Employee was super helpful and kind. Will definitely be coming back

Clean, open store with excellent service. Limited selection of games; not unexpected as nearly everything has gone to online content. Well stocked with controllers, headphones, accessories that you need now, not in 2 days. Helpful staff allowed us to find exactly what we needed quickly.Good COVID-19 protocols - working hand sanitizer on entry, limited number of patrons inside the store at one time, large plexiglass barriers between the checkout and the customer. Very pleased with our experience here.Well marked signs to find the store, easy parking for a quick visit. Recommended.

GameStop is the best! My go-to for used and new games and game systems.

I bought a PS4 camera here on Saturday! I didn’t want to use it anymore and I brought it back on Monday and they said I couldn’t return it because I didn’t have a receipt! But on Saturday I wasn’t given a receipt! Now I’m not gonna use that camera again and my $50 go to waste!

Got there 10 minutes before closing (I drove from GameStop of Lawrence because they didnt have what I needed) and was helped by courteous staff who stayed a few minutes late to get me taken care of. The store had both items I was looking for in stock. 4 stars instead of 5 because the trade in deal is kind of a joke by the time they nickel and dime you for a battery cover, HDMI cable, etc. I was told $30 at the first location and it ended up being $15 here once everything was processed. (Take note corporate if you want more repeat business!) No reflection on the employees though, they were great and did their job efficiently and effectively.

Called to confirm an item was at their location as their website had stated it was; but it was not available. It was for the better though because I purchased a name brand item for the same price I was going to purchase the aftermarket one for. Had it waiting for me when I walked in. Thanks again

Supposed to open at noon on Jan. 30. It’s about a quarter after and I’m still waiting outside. Girl went in about 20 minutes ago. Not sure what the holdup is. Irritating.

I love going to game stop and seeing what deals they have I have a power up rewards elite card so i get the best deals and money back on games. For me I like game stop best because of the points and the tier system they have I really enjoy the knowledge that the people have about the games and based off what we buy they recommend!

The staff is always courteous and friendly. They help as quick as they can and appreciate them for it. The wait time is much short than the others. . The one by the mall sucks. As well as the one in Merriam by the cinemas

There’s a sign on the door at the store that says they open at 10am. I got here after 10:30 but everything was still locked up. Someone finally showed up to unlock the store but refused to let me in for another 20 minutes since she had to get set up. It’s pouring rain and I asked if I could just wait inside but she said no and locked the door behind her. When I asked her about the store opening time she said they technically were supposed to be open by 10am but that I still had to wait outside, in the storm, for 20 more minutes. Very rude. Not coming back.

Lots of funko pops and gamer coffee mugs. I think they used to sell video games? Im not too sure, I was distracted by some people trying to make me buy their magazine.

Not too bad here. Wish theyd give you better deals when youre trying to give away your electronics. Also, DO NOT buy their used consoles or games. They wont take it back even if its broken the next day!

The people who work here are very knowledgeable and are willing to answer the questions you have. Also give honest game reviews when you ask them about games youre interested in. If youre buying used systems, check with other game stops in the area. I noticed ps4s of the same size are different prices.

Was sold a game with no disc in it. I know there’s no way to prove it so I guess I’m out 40 bucks. Double check your game cases.

Gamestop is great. The workers are very helpful and knowledgeable from video game merchandise to consoles.**Edit took away the 5 stars because I recently went in to get my husband a Christmas gift. They had a clearance sale for by one get one free. I was looking at the shirts in the clearance section, found an awesome Umbrella shirt and Star Wars coffee mug only to be told that the shirt wasnt on clearance, but they had all of those shirts in the clearance area and the rude Employee said to me Well I dont have any where to put those in my store. Well you lost a sale sir, next time put them somewhere other than CLEARANCE. No business logic, and unprofessional.

Nice staff but selection was very pathetic. It was hard to find a reason to buy from them rather than download the same game. The Amiibo selection was literally just Animal Crossing figures. These have often been sold for as much as as 70% off other places because nobody wants these cruddy things

If this store did not have dylan working here it would have 5 stars easy. I read through the reviews to make sure I wasnt overreacting but read a bunch of reviews that specifically mentioned his name and every time his name was mentioned it was a bad review specifically related to him and not the store itself. I took am almost perfect iPhone in and he found the tiniest of blemishes. I wish I could add a photo but you honestly wouldnt be able to see it. He tried to act like it wasnt him that made the call but I asked him to show me where he saw a chip as he called it. I couldnt believe he cut the price in half after this. He said he was the store manager. Can someone confirm that? If thats so maybe the star rating should be lower because he is a joke and to hire him as a manager is comical.

I usually go to the location in Roland Park near my house. This location is much clearer, with a better layout. The guy who helped me was friendlier and sugested things never offered at the other location.

I typically have a lot of trouble with Gamestop staff members, having one ask me if I had heard of the new Link game coming out....On the other hand this Gamestop has been much better and it seems like the majority of the staff members Ive met here at least know what they are selling. They also dont have the high pressure sales tactics employed at other locations.

Dont ever go to Gamestop right before or after the holidays, stood in line for 20 minutes just to find out they were out of stock.

The customer service is probably one of the worst. They will let you stand at the counter and continue whatever conversation they are having instead of tending to the people in line.

First and foremost I LOVE GAMESTOP. Where else can you find so much video game nerdery in one location!I have visited probably over 100 different GSs around the country and always find something I want at each one. They are almost always organized very neatly (SANS XMAS TIME where the product is over flowing) And they often include exclusives that you cant get anywhere else.Usually there is pretty good and talkative staff... It certainly looks as if they specifically select gamers to work in the stores. And this location was no exception. On this event I had identified a specific item that I wanted so I called around. There was one close by and it was at this location. When I called the guy spoke to me like a friend giving me the pros and the cons without really putting a sales spin on it. Then offered to set it aside for me. He told me of the store policy on holds and was very polite and friendly.Two hours later when I sauntered into the store the gentleman behind the counter looked up and said, Hello, you must be the gentleman that called about the PSTV. I still dont know how he knew but it sparked more good conversation. I bought my item and went to the car... then went back in and bought more. This was mostly due to the general friendliness of the sales person. If I lived closer I would waste WAY more money here!

Came to inquire about Nintendo Switch console and accessory shipments, and was outright lied to by an employee stating Nintendo had no plans to restock until holdiay. The console goes in stock fairly often at other retailers.

This store location meets customers needs and wants, no problems! Called after a cutoff time for preorder sales and they still accomodated my preorder! And was able to deliver on that pre order on day of release....which was realistically 4 hours after I called the store! Thank you game stop!
