Do not go here for service. I went to get an oil change. And they come and get me saying, “sir since it took so long, we are giving you the oil change, tire rotation, and a new air filter for free” but then I go out to get in my truck and I notice a big scratch down the side and a dent in it. I wouldn’t be as mad if they would’ve told me what happened instead of hiding it from me. But Joe Cooper did take care of it and fixed the scratch and dent in my truck and they were really nice to get all that taken care of. But it was all in all frustrating.

Matt was a great salesman. He didnt try to push us into a car we didnt want to be in and he gave us plenty of time to check out everything we were interested in. He was very informative about each car and answered any question we had. He even helped us move the baby car seat back and forth between cars. Most salesmen Ive dealt with, at different car lots, felt very annoying and pushy. Matt wasnt like that. He was very helpful.I leave 5 stars for Matt and probably 3 stars for the dealership itself.Although Matt was very helpful, the sticker price on the windows were not what they were actually selling for and of course he is not to blame for that. Because of that, we went from getting a 2021 Chevy Blazer to a 2022 Chevy Equinox. We are still very happy with our purchase but we were aggravated with the price of the blazer not being sold for what it was advertised for. The market is to blame for the price of course, but the window sticker should be 100% accurate. AGAIN, I do not blame Matt for that at all. The sales manager was also very polite and so was the rest of the staff that I spoke with.

My name is Anna and Im a 63 year old. I informed an employee at Joe Cooper that I wanted to buy my last car and I let them know exactly what I wanted on the car. Fight really really wanted electric windows electric lock and I wanted the rear-view camera which is something Ive never had before. I also wanted a car that all I had to do is put my foot on the brake and push the button. I had never driven a car like that. About five days later I received a call stating they had my car. I bought it sight unseen basically. I do not know whats going on in the car World these days and knew nothing about the different cars. I had been looking online for at least 3 months trying to educate myself. I decided to just put it in Joe Coopers hands. I fell in love with the car they picked out for me and not only did it have everything I wanted but its seated anything I could have ever imagined and what a great deal! I was completely amazed and still am. If I had to State my experience and my new car in one word the word would be quote marvelous! I give Joe Cooper five stars in high five! It is very surreal, every time I get in it its just better and better and unbelievable to me what a great deal I got on this fantastic car. I didnt tell them that I wanted a used car did he only had one owner and never been in a wreck but they knew that thats what I should have and thats exactly what I got. The person that owned this car before me kept it immaculate! I swear to me it look like a 2021 that had never ever been driven around the car lot. I bought a 2013 Hyundai Santa Fe Sport and I tell you it is loaded oh, there is not one thing that this car doesnt have. Its going to take me a year to read that thick manual and learn about every button on that steering wheel, rear view mirror, dashboard, by the console and everywhere else that there are knobs and buttons! I would actually write my experience a plus 10! Need I say more?
Neil is a great salesman, I’m a business owner so I don’t have time to car shop like I used to. I told Neil exactly what I was looking for and what my budget was and he was very diligent in finding exactly what I was looking for down to the smallest little detail. The worst customer experience I have ever dealt with from their service department. Took car in for check engine light and had them do multi point inspection. Code for check engine was for turbo. I proceeded to have them fix that also fix the leak on timing chain cover. Get a call from them saying they got the car back together, but when they test drove it suddenly it dropped a valve and damaged the motor. They did offer to replace the motor with a used one which was fine. After a month they finally call to say its done, but there is still a check engine light cause we didnt authorize them to fix the valve cover gasket leak . Well no where on the report did it have a code for leaking valve cover gasket. I asked what code and low and behold it wasnt on the report. After a heated discussion and telling them to have the corporate office call me, they shortly called back and agreed to fix it. Its sad that it had to come to all that to get them to do what was right. If that had been someone who wasnt willing to stand up and say it wasnt right they would have gotten taken advantage of. After all that I pick it up and the damaged the hood at the hood hinges and all the service manager could say was well to bad we didnt do so we arent going to fix it. I would never recommend this place to work on a tricycle!
This is the 3rd car we have bought through Joe Cooper. We have never had a problem with the sales team. So helpful, patient. They even brought the car I wanted from OKC for me to test drive and eventually buy. Service center is tricky sometimes but they always get the job done.
Let me begin with the fact that Neil our salesman was great. Even when we left Friday night so I could think he didnt once try and contact me first thing Saturday morning. He was patient with us and not pushy at all. The couple of complaints I have was one the cleanliness of some of the vehicles. After being there all day and seeing some of the younger salesman driving continuous circles around the parking lot in a golf cart I question why they couldnt stop and check vehicles for cleanliness. The second complaint was when needing references why couldnt that be done while your waiting to go back to the finance department. Overall all it was a good experience and I believe if those two things could be fixed it might make for a more pleasant experience for someone else.
Gage was our salesman, he was exceptional. Efficient and found us the perfect car for building our credit. Finance was also great and got us a good deal on our warranty
Chad, our salesperson, was fantastic. We would recommend him to anyone. But theres only so much that a great salesperson can do. Eventually, they have to hand you off someone not as great at customer service.

I took my XT5 in for an oil change, I usually go to the dealership I bought my car from but that’s in Norman and it needed to be done so I dropped it off and went to work. The advisor I talked to was Jordan. He told me the technician found an oil leak and showed me a picture, I didn’t see what he mentioned but I’m not a mechanic. Just for reassurance I sent the picture to my dad, brother in law and a friend, who also connected me with somebody that worked at Joe Cooper. They all said they didn’t see anything and whatever they were saying was not true. I called Jordan, and he said “it’s not coming out of your pocket, why do you care?” Well sir, that’s fraud. I went to get my car and talked to a different advisor, told him I wanted to get a second opinion and I wanted my car back. The manager was trying to gaslight me, saying “I’ve never had anybody turn down service before.” Trying to make me question my decision. The manager covered my oil change but I’m almost positive he did that because his bonuses are based off of positive reviews and if I wasn’t a paying customer I couldn’t leave a review.Yesterday I took my car to the dealership I usually take it to for a second opinion and they found NOTHING. Don’t send your daughters to Joe Cooper.
We had a great experience at Joe Cooper Chevrolet. Our guy Moe was the best. He got me all the information I needed and ask for. Then he had us ready to go when we went to test drive the car. He made buying a new car easy. Than you Moe for a Great experience.
Sales man was pretty good with trying to sell us the vehicle, but was lacking general basic knowledge of the vehicle he was trying to sell. I mean even if its not your dealership brand at least have knowledge about the vehicle youre selling. Finance lady was pushy about trying to get us to go with all warranties and left me highly uninterested, of it werent for the salesman and my wife wanting that exact year make model we would have walked away. Definitely bring up the internet price before you start the process though.
I pulled into the parking lot with a car that barely made it down the road, I had to keep one foot on the brakes and other on gas to keep it from dying. They spent all day with me and helped me look at several Trucks, they had all the cards in there hands knowing that I was broke down in there parking lot . But they gave me more then a far deal on my vehicle for a trade, they negotiated as well as I for all we could. There was mishaps In the process coming from a long day of trying to come together and get a sale and what I hope was a far deal. I had concerns after a moment of clarity after a long day the next few days after. They was Professional and listened to my concerns and tried to address them head on. At the end of the day I’m more then happy with the Truck ( a beautiful 2017 SilveradoW/T ) and hopefully years of service to come as I need it and a place to send a friend.

The first thing that stood out was Gage made a video of the car I was interested in and sent it to me! It was clean and in a spot ready for me to see. I know the car buying process takes at least three hours, and I was in and out in about three hours. So thank you for knowing my time is precious and making it easy for me. They quite honestly tried to rip us off, once we agreed upon a price and went to sign they offered several things we did not want (other than gap insurance) so to make the payments stay at what they wanted they changed the price of the vehicle on the contract and we didn’t notice until we got home… that was also after we were there for 5 hours and they let us leave without even paying (they had to call me when I was on the way home and get my credit card information)We contacted them and they did fix it, but weren’t the nicest about it (complaining about the $500 fee they were going to be charged for this after trying to rip us off by thousands). All and all I wouldn’t do business with them again. Find a more honest place!

I drove a little out of my way to look at a truck that Joe Cooper had listed online for a fair amount under KBB value. That morning I had been to two other dealers who had also listed trucks under KBB value. One turned out to be a mistake and they would not honor the price, though it was listed on two websites(Bob Moore CJDR), and the other told me the vehicle was available but when I got there it wasnt and they didnt have anything comparable(David Stanley Dodge). I was a little apprehensive heading to Shawnee, but Julian assured me the truck was available and that he would have it ready for me. I dragged my feet, but when I got there, sure enough, the truck was available and priced as advertised. We struggled a little over our trade in price and initially I left, but they eventually came to the price I had asked(Thanks to management, sorry I forgot the name). When we went back Julian had left, so we dealt with his teammate Phill, who made the rest of the time there as easy breezy as possible. Then in the end we dealt with Will in finance who made, what is usually a somber affair, palatable and even fun. He got us to the numbers we needed without pressuring us into any extras we didnt want. All in all this is probably the best experience Ive had buying a vehicle. I would gladly recommend the team at Joe Cooper Chevy to my family and friends and thats the bottom line!
SERVICE DEPT IS SHADY AND DISHONESTI would give zero stars if I could. I took my 2014 Silverado in to have them update the software for my head unit. I told them I don’t want anything else done, just update the software. They told me it would be $150, no problem.I get a text from the service center saying that both my front turn signals were out and it would be $115 to repair. They also said my tag lights were out and it would be $55 to repair. They also said they couldn’t update my software because the file was corrupt and it would be $640 to repair.I declined the repairs via text.The first thing I did when I got back to the service center was I checked my turn signals, they both worked fine. I checked my tag lights and they both worked fine.They LIED to me and I do not appreciate that!!!I took my truck to a different Chevy dealership and they had no problem updating my software.Joe Cooper in Shawnee lost out on $150 of service because they are dishonest.DO NOT TAKE YOUR VEHICLE TO THEM BECAUSE THEY WILL LIE TO YOU TO TRY AND UPSELL YOU FOR THINGS YOU DON’T NEED DONE.I am very disappointed in them and I will never take any of my vehicles to them again.That upselling nonsense might work for their elderly customers, but it does not work for us younger generations that know how to check things out. Two thumbs down!!!

I bought my son a used but new truck to him for his graduation. The sales team worked fast with no hassle getting us in and out. However, the truck had been on the lot for a while and they had a few days of notices as to when I was going to pick it up. When we got there it was empty of gas and had never had any effort put forth to clean the inside and was in need of a oil change right away. Probably wont buy here again due to the lack of effort in service.
Searching for work truck, drove from Tulsa to check out one off the back lot. It was basic, regular cab & long bed which is what I was looking for. I was greeted in a professional & friendly manner equal to a new Cadillac shopper, Colten is a credit to the dealership. Wife zeroed in on a much later truck with all the options which we took home, Colten was very understanding, pleasant & friendly even though we bought from another. To my OKC area family may I suggest giving Colten a visit, worth the trip.

Randall Geiger was my salesman. This was by far my best car buying experience from a dealership. I emailed the dealership around 6am looking for information on a vehicle they listed and Randall responded before the dealership even opened. We discussed what I was looking for and what I was willing to pay, he confirmed the vehicle was on the lot and my budget was acceptable if I liked the vehicle. I was greeted promptly once I arrived at the dealership, Randall was upfront, honest and disclosed known issues (all minor for a used car) during the test drive. Once I agreed to purchase the vehicle, the price was exactly what we discussed, there were no carrying fees, dealership fees, hidden fees or any other BS. From the time I set foot on the lot, to the test drive and then paying for the vehicle was 30-45 minutes. I appreciate Randall’s honesty, being up front and not wasting either of our time.
Neil is one of the most caring person Ive ever been in contact with. He listen to everything we wanted in a vehicle and got us the right vehicle at the right price. He went above and beyond. One of the easiest and hassle free car buying experiences I have ever had. We arrived about an hour before closing on a Saturday night and we were in and out before closing with a new vehicle. We had spent most of the day at a different dealer and had a horrible experience and they made up for it. The salesman’s name was Damian and he did a amazing job for us.

They say they are going to do something like call you back or get your vehicle fixed or get your title for you but I’ve had this vehicle for 4 months and still no title and they will not call me back or do anything about it!!!!!!!!
We went to Joe Cooper Chevrolet looking for a vehicle, & we found Julian. We didn’t buy a car right away, but when we found a few we were interested in they were at one of the other locations, & Julian went through the trouble of bringing them over to this location for us to check out. In the end we bought a 2019 Jeep Compass. Everyone we dealt with at Joe Cooper was friendly & helpful. We will go back to Julian at Joe Cooper whenever our daughters decide they’re ready for a car. I recommend them highly. Ask for Jerimiah. We went there to see what was available in a good used truck and the prices as we are considering upgrading our current high mileage truck. He took us over both lots, we found one we might be able to do business with and they were no pressure whatsoever and no arm twisting. A breath of fresh air let me tell you. If we decide on replacing our current truck, we will do business with them. I highly recommend Jerimiah Vaughn or Ray Walton the used car director, they wont steer you wrong (no pun intended)

I contacted the dealer about a Subaru Outback advertised on FB Market place and spoke to one of the salesman; I asked him the Real condition of the vehicle, since I was driving a long distance to Shawnee and I was assured the vehicle was in great condition and has been dealer inspected and approved.When I arrived to the dealership, I found out that the vehicle was unsafe to drive, since all four tires were totally bold and one of the tires in front actually had cuts on the sidewall, the windshield had a crack across, it had to be jumped started since it needed a new battery, so I was still brave enough to jump into the driver’s seat to give it a test drive, I placed the vehicle on drive and it felt like the engine jumped off its mount, I was then informed by the salesman that it may also need a block mount bolt; I didn’t mind driving the hour (one way) it took me to look at the car, since I expected some issues with the car, since it was an used car, but I didn’t realize I was going to be lied to totally misrepresented the condition of the vehicle and of course played by a Bait and Switched Scam done by a Reputable dealer!

All our questions were answered by the salesperson assigned to us, and an introductory trial drive for the vehicle we had discovered on Car Guru was provided.Paper work seemed to be as much as normal, with congeniality and warmth oiling the process. All products that supplement a purchase were offered and explained. Although I rank having to buy a car somewhere close to the mental pain level of getting a root canal, this was one of the best car dealing experiences Ive had. Fairly easy and zero pressure.I bought a used SUV from here. The detail crew missed something fairly hidden, but pretty major; however they were quick to take it to maintenance to correct.I did my homework on comparable vehicles elsewhere and they worked with me a little on the price. If trading in a vehicle, I suggest printing out your fair trade-in value from both KBB and NADAGuides & taking it with you for reference.Gage Knight is the salesman I dealt with from start to finish & strongly recommend working with him. Regardless of salesman, I recommend calling this dealership ahead of time if you see something specific online you are interested in viewing that day: they will reserve the vehicle aside for you to check out and drive.

To put this in context, I was previously trying to purchase a truck through CARVANA for close to a week when they told me they never loaded my contract and it’d take another week. I canceled with them and found the same truck at Joe Cooper and from the time I called them to driving my new truck off the lot was about 3-4 hours. They made it the simplest car buying experience, way better than CARVANA.

I wanted to leave this review so that people understand how awesome this dealership really is I contacted them about a 2015 Stingray I spoke to a very courteous dealer named Gage i explained to him how much I had down and that I was a very serious buyer from Reno Nevada they worked at night got me approved I flew out the very next day they had the nicest driver pick me up from the airport in Oklahoma City who brought me to the dealership where the car I was waiting there with my name on it full tank of gas detailed and looking extremely gorgeous I was there for about an hour and after that they had me out the door driving back to Reno Nevada where this company continue to call me to make sure that I was safe and that my drive home was okay and if there was any problems that I had that they would address it which there was none this dealership truly goes out of their way to help people get into their cars that they really want I wouldnt go anywhere else for a vehicle so I definitely want to thank Joe Cooper Chevrolet and gauge for all that they did for me to make my dream of having a Stingray Corvette a reality

Slowest oil change in town (>3 hours) . Will charge you $55 dollars to install an in-cabin air filter thats $10 at Autozone and 5 minutes of work to put in. $46 to install a $20 engine filter thats another 5 minutes to put in. Tells you your cars hard idle sound is normal. Will mess up your tire pressure monitoring system and tell you the sensor needs to be replaced for $140. Took it down the road to an excellent establishment on Kickapoo by the name of Discount Tire. They fixed me right up and we had a laugh at Joe Cooper Chevrolets expense.Reviews are meant to warn potential customers of the pitfalls others have experienced. This is just a recount of the service Ive received there over the past 6 months.
Iam very very disappointed with the Quality of Service and the product 2 cars purchased from 2 Joe Cooper locations. One was the Dodge location and the other was the Chevrolet location. I received a call back from a General Manager about our issues only to be place on hold 2 times. And he did not come back on the phone. We can’t even get a title sent to our Home address which was on the paperwork we signed to purchase one of the vehicles. I even paid additional money to have work done on a car at time of purchase and it appears the only thing that was done was to take the additional money I paid

Bought a used car as is. Less than 24 hours later, we had unforeseen issues with it. The manager had us bring it in and they tracked down the issues for us. One was easily fixed, but more than I could afford, but they took care of it. Service dept went far above and beyond what I expected. I am VERY impressed with their customer service.
Sales person was nice and smooth transition for financing and didnt have any problems with trade and agreement on what to choose on monthly payments. No headaches, and didnt take long in the financing office either.
I was sold a lemon, I had the the car for three days before I had to take it into another Ford dealership. Its been sitting there since January 6,2021. A 2020 model. They took in my paid off car and sold me a car that doesnt work. I am a traveling nurse in the middle of a pandemic with no car. Dont buy from them. They will screw you over.

NEIL DOLAN NEEDS! a raise this buying experience we had has been unlike any other he went out of his way on his day off to drive a truck an hour away back to Shawnee for us to purchase, his day off!! He even detailed it, if your underestimating this man DONT his ability to connect with the customer or to simply have a conversation is unbelievable, car salesmen these days are so robotic and they think they’re better than you just because they have a suit or a nice car but not this man! He brought emotion,conversation,laughter and a genuine personality to the table he sold us on a 2015 f150 xlt off his character alone I have an endless amount of words for this man and how grateful I am but just know if your thinking of shopping here NEIL DOLAN is your man!!

Maurice “Moe” Sleet was very helpful, answered all my questions, was considerate of my time, not pushy at all, and I bought a great vehicle from Joe Cooper Chevrolet in Shawnee because of Maurice. I had already been to three other dealerships, and I had been lied to by two of them. Maurice was up front, didn’t try to sell me something else, didn’t use bait and switch, and overall was a delight to work with.
Service dept is horrible had warranty work done on my 2018 GMC Pick up 2 times same issue and a oil change & wipers. 1 star only. Should be zero stars, they didnt reset the change oil light. I was charged about $70 bucks for the oil change. I called all they could say was sorry! So who know if the oil & filter change I paid $70 bucks for even got done?? If they cant pay attention to detail on something this simple should you really trust them working on youre $60k vehicle??
Praying to share this review in a Christian manner. We went to this dealership Friday night and walked out with a 2016 Chevy Cruze for a little over 12 grand. When we got on the highway the check engine light came on so I called my husband who I was following and he said lets get it home he would message the guy who helped us in the morning. It was decided Saturday that Monday I could bring it in before 3 and get it diagnosed. I came in Monday the dealer told me an hour and a half. After that time the service gentleman came out and said the dealer told him to pull the codes and it would cost me $175 to get the diagnostis but he would wave that fee if I choose to get it fixed with them....... My husband said no and I took it to AutoZone where he ran the scan for free. We are looking at a Turbo/charger underboost its recommended we replace turbocharger assembly. I hope this review will help anyone looking for a good honest deal to look elsewhere. We the people work hard for our money and it hurts to be taken a fool. Me and my husband walk away with our heads down and take the hit. Since this review the GM reached out to my husband and we were able to bring the car in to be fixed at no charge to us and they provided a rental while it was being worked on which was more than we even expected and was very kind of them. The lady who handled our rental was so nice and a blessing to work with. We are very thankful for the kindness of Joe Cooper and the work put in to fixing the car. Thanks a bunch!

The Salesman was a good guy and tried to help as much as he could but the car we bought was not good quality. The car broke down the first week we bought it ... we took it back to the dealership and they said they fixed it ... drove it for a week and now it is broke down again.

After having a bad experience at a dealership a week prior I contacted Salesman, Gage Knight, about a truck I was interested in. I arrived at the dealership and was greeted in a professional, non-aggressive manner which was a huge plus. Not only that, but the listed internet price was the actual price of the truck when I arrived. No bait and switch like a lot of the other dealerships out there are doing. The environment was very relaxed. Gage Knight, as well as the sales manager, and finance manager were very professional and respectful. I will definitely recommend Joe Cooper of Shawnee to any of my friends or family that are interested in purchasing a new or used vehicle.
