So there we are with a broken down car in line to the Ren Fair parking lot, far from home on vacation. Luckily Midwest towing was there to save us. Tow truck was there in a flash, repairs were quick, and great customer service. Every conversation was friendly. And the added complain of us being on vacation wasnt a problem as we were able to workout conflicting schedules. Turned a bad situation into a smooth fix.

The guys diagnosed my sons Expedition and put a fuel pump in. They were efficient, did great work and were more than fair with the cost. Very transparent, very honest. Our go to shop from now on, even if he has to bring it from Uptown!

Super quick & responsive! After I went into a ditch on a snowy Monday morning, they had someone to me within 40 minutes of calling and he was the NICEST guy! My brakes were going and I got a recommendation from a friend to try midwest towing. They got me in and fixed my rear brakes. Not only that but they recommended a few things that needed to be done and when I should do it. Most places these days would of tried to get my money all in one shot. These guys are honest and back their work. I highly recommend them and will use them again.

Whilst in the middle of a huge rain/hail storm, my check engine light came on and this little shop was the closest auto repair still open at that time! We pulled in and luckily Sal (the owner) was available to help us. He not only immediately diagnosed my SUV with a serious transmission issue, but also went above and beyond to look into this issue to tell me it was a recall that should have been taken care of by my dealership. He then towed my car for me back to my town at an extremely reasonable price as well. He was truly God-sent during this pretty terrifying experience. I simply can not overstate how kind and wonderful he is. Extremely and highly recommended.

I cannot get over how amazing this company was to me. My car broke down at 4:30 in the morning when I was on my way to the airport to board a plane. They were so quick and were extremely helpful by just bringing my vehicle to their shop. You could tell that he really valued us as customers. It is so refreshing to go to a place of business and be treated with such respect. They were so reasonably priced and he even held my vehicle at his home so I wouldnt have to pay a lot fee since I was out of town. About two months ago my trucks check engine light came on and I was in search for a trustworthy, reliable, and reasonably priced repair shop. Luckily I was referred to Midwest Towing & Auto Repair. When I brought my truck to the shop I didnt have an appointment and was on a time crunch--Salvador and his team were able to diagnose the check engine light and fix my vehicle within the few hours that I had time for. If I have any more issues with my vehicles in the future I will definitely be going back to Midwest!

I had a great experience with them. My truck broke down this afternoon while I was traveling with my 3 dogs and I was stuck far from home. They were the closest place that was open so I called them. Despite being busy, they were able to get a tow truck out there and get my truck fixed within about 2 hours. With it being a warm, sunny afternoon, they were nice enough to allow my dogs to be kenneled inside their waiting area while they worked on my truck. Their prices are reasonable and their service is outstanding.

My broke down while my daughter was driving to ren fest. They came and towed my car on Saturday night, had an beginning diagnosis on Sunday afternoon then found another issue after that one was fixed, this part has to be ordered my car was ready for me on Wednesday afternoon. I wanted to give them even less stars but because of so many good reviews I’m trying not to completely judge them off of just one impression. On both google and their website it says they’re a 24/7 towing service. This morning my car broke down and I called them around 7 a.m. twice, no answer. I called around 8 a.m., still no answer. Then I thought maybe their shop hours start at 9, so I waited another hour. Still no answer when I called at 9 a.m. Even tried the “contact them” link through google and messaged them but never heard back. It’s understandable if their shop simply wasn’t open yet but don’t say you’re a 24/7 service if you’re not. Please edit your hours. STILL never heard back, btw. New phone number or what????

I needed to get a car in for computer work. Truck was right on time, took the shortest route, and waited with me for the 20 minutes of work to be done. Left the car on the bed so I didnt have to pay a second hookup fee. Service was great and friendly and he enjoyed his work which made the experience great. Great pricing, and was careful with my car, would definitely recommend!

My car broke down on Labor Day just as I was leaving the Renaissance Festival. A quick google search led me to Midwest Towing. I called, and they picked me up within half an hour and towed me back to their shop. I was going to try to get a rental car, but everything was closed for the holiday, so they gave me an old beater to get home with. Next day, they let me know that they found and fixed the problem (shift linkage) and I came down and picked up the car. Just over $200 for tow and repair together. Excellent service, especially on a public holiday, and very reasonable rates. I am very happy with the experience.

As my car was dead on the road n im about 1 hr away from home I was looking through google to look for a tow n shop to get my car repair. After reading through all these good reviews about this shop I thought they would be a good shop to help me out. But they gave me a wrong quote on how much it would cost to fix my car. At first it was 1400 I was happy about the price n was ready to get my car fix. Couple days later after I drop of half of the deposit for my car part I was told the parts was already order n my car should be done with in a few days. After a few days I call to check on my car n I was told the parts was never order. I was like ok I guess no big deal I can wait. Than after another week the owner call me back saying that if I want to get my car fix its gonna cost me over 2500, so i decided to just junk my car. Was kinda piss about it because they make me wait 2 weeks for nothing. I wouldnt recommend this shop to anyone. Even with there customer service I think it was bad. They make me feel like they dont even care about there customer. I drive over 1 hrs just to talk to the owner n he didnt even stay and talk with me so I can decide what to do with my car. Instead I have to setup an appointments just to com back to talk to the owner. Waste my time n gas, even with the appointment the owner spend less than 5 min talking to me n left me because he had to go somewhere.

Last summer had a dead car in the Valley Fair parking lot on a Saturday night. As I was driving to OjlaOklaon Monday, I was a bit panicepa. They picked up my van, had it fixed on Sunday for a reasonable price and when I calkca from the road to ask about my AC, they were very kind(AC turned out to be fine) and called me back to try and help. I sent my son there with his car and they got it fixed even faster than expected . My car is currently there to get some front end work done and I feel confident it will be done right and I wont be overcharged. I made the mistake of going elsewhere cause it was closer to home-I wont make that mistake again. Thanks for being so good at what you do and a company with integrity!!!

Mid winter at 5 am my car made it a mile down the road and broke down. Midwest towing wasted no time in coming to pick up me and my car. They had my car up and running by the time I left work that day. Been back to have brakes and other misc items tended to. Always a great experience.

All these posts about this place being a good company is complete bs. My car over heated and they told me it was my head gasket and suggested I swap the engine. Fast and smooth talker but DO NOT FALL FOR IT! I would not accept their diagnosis and brought it to Rongos in Minneapolis and they told me the mechanic was clearly trying to rob me. There was a crack in the intake. Nothing wrong with the head gasket at all. AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COST. THEY ARE SCAM ARTIST!!!!!!

Brought my Hyundai Elantra in because it was leaking oil. Sal was able to pinpoint where it was leaking from and got me back on the road the same day! Quick and painless service. If youre anywhere in the South Metro, these are you GoTo guys.

If you need a vehicle towed, they are champs at it! Rich is friendly and a great tow operator.If you need repair work done...RUN AWAY!! They will use the cheapest parts without telling you, then refuse to warranty labor when the parts THEY choose, fail.I bought I vehicle, and shortly after, the clutch failed. Midwest was the closest and cheapest shop to where I was broken down. Sal arrived in no time. He brought my Focus back to the shop, and began the clutch replacement the next day. After waiting 2 days longer than Sal told me it would take, I picked up my vehicle. I immediately noticed 2nd gear was not working correctly. Sal said it just needed to be broken in. He was wrong, the 2nd gear issue never went away.13 months, almost to the day, the clutch kit Midwest chose to install failed horribly, and with my 8yo daughter in the car!! No, im stuck on the side of the road, far from home, with my daughter. Sal and Midwest REFUSED to warranty the labor, and demanded another $700 to replace the faulty part. I had to personally get the warranty for the parts as Sal refused.That was in September, its April now. The SAME part Sal chose to use, then was warrantied, failed AGAIN! Now, Im stuck without a car that i use for my job. Sal refused to accept any fault, and continues to insist that its not his problem that HE choose a cheap part.What kind of reputable business doesnt stand behind their parts or their labor. You usually trust that the work is done correctly. In my instance, it obviously wasnt.I reached out to Midwest to politely request a refund for the labor from last time. They will not admit fault what so ever.I refuse to let anyone else fall victim to this robbery. If you need a tow, or an EASY repair you could probably do yourself, visit midwest. You get what you pay for, EVERYTIME!! If you want the repair done right the first time, with correct parts, and by an ACTUAL ASE tech, go elsewhere.Lastly, Midwest...Just because you say your techs are ASE certified, doesnt make it so! I checked throughly. NONE of your guys are ASE certified.
