DYNAMICAR has worked on two of my Volvos. An 04 S60R, and a 1999 V70R. Both times they have been not only beyond helpful, but also friendly and understanding. 2004 G35 Sedan. They found the issue and I know it was not easy to replace. I replaced a couple parts in my car before taking it there. They did not criticize me for it but looked at what I did. They cleaned up my work and went beyond.

In a very difficult industry to trust anyone, Brent went above and beyond helping me and guiding me on what to do when my engine blew up. Even if you live in the city you should take your car or truck to Dynamicar. You will get help from a very honest and fair mechanic. AAA tried to guide me to one of their shops and Im very glad I didnt go with their suggestion. Brent also gave me the discount AAA offered if I went to the shop they recommended. In from out of town and woke up at hotel with dead battery. When I called, I was told someone would come right over and arrived about 5 minutes later to give me a jump. He also told me the battery needed replaced and explained another issue that was causing the battery to drain. He told me they could fix it easily and inexpensively, but I didnt have the time this morning. I received a follow up call about 30 minutes later to make sure that everything had gone well with the serviceman and I extolled how wonderful he was. They went above and beyond what they had to do and were more than kind about it. I will definitely be adding them to my contacts and would highly recommend them to anyone in need of assistance in the Shakopee area!We ended up needing the repairs right away and they were wonderful. My hubby dropped the car and hitched a ride back. He got several phone updates while they were working. When they were finished he paid over the phone and we were able to pick up after we were finished around 9:30 pm. They were well priced, professional and squeezed us in because they knew we were from out of town.

I was recommended to visit these guys after I had a bad experience from the Toyota Dealership in St Louis Park. Brent explained what he thought was going on with my car while pointing everything out to me as well. I appreciated that he did this because I literally have no car knowledge. Like I just do what people tell me to do on my car without question (which didnt do me well at Toyota). But Brent was extremely informative and I feel very confident in the work they preformed on my car.

Great shop. Id been looking for a auto repair place that felt more like small-town family since I moved to MN and hadnt had much luck until now. Called for a service engine light to see what appointments were available and Brents response was can you bring it now?. Brent and Bob did a great job communicating and explaining everything the whole way through showing me pictures and doing research with local dealers and tech bulletins that Im confident no other shop would even think of. Oh and did I mention the free loaner car? I will definitely be back. This is the type of partner in auto repair that I have been looking for since I moved here 10 years ago.

When my company was relocated to Shakopee I looked for an auto repair shop close by and found Dynamicar. The shop looks organized and the cleanest garage I’ve seen, as if they worked on priceless classic cars. I rattled off a list of issues on my 20 year old Subaru Forester and they went the extra to dig in and around the rust to make things right in quick fashion. They are personable with good explanations of the work and thankfully the reasonable price was not a shocker.

Brent is accommodating and trustworthy. We have brought foreign and domestic cars here with great results. Will definitely take my cars here in the future.

My truck shook when traveling a certain mph so I took it in to have it looked at. DYNAMICAR told me that my tires had uneven wear and all needed to be replaced for the small cost of $1,600. I asked them 3 times if every tire needed to be replaced and they said yes, and recommended that they order all 4 tires for me that instant. When I asked them to show me the tires only 2 had visible uneven wear while the other 2 were fine. When I pointed this out the said oh yeah, i guess you could just keep those two good ones and rotate the new ones in with them.I immediately took my car to another shop and they confirmed that only 2 tires needed to be replaced. I will not be going back to DYNAMICAR because of this experience...cant be trusted.After the owner response I changed this to a 2 star review because Brent, the owner was responsive to this review. In fact, I also remember it like it was yesterday and I should have noted the 3 times I was told all tires needed to be replaced was on the phone, and was not with you Brent. In person and upon inspection you agreed that only 2 needed to be replaced. My apologies I didnt state that earlier. The other shop I took the truck to said i could get another 5,000 miles out of the 2 tires that needed to be replaced, so you were wrong in your assumption that i got them placed and the vibrating stopping is what spurred me to write this review....in fact I had hoped to write this review for 3 months but just now got around to it.Im not trying to give unwarranted reviews....I am simply telling my experience and giving my review.

Having the occasion to be in Eagan on an anxious spouse imposed Covid-19 self-quarantine and the it-couldn’t-get-worse situation needing to have my Volvo S60 taken to a shop to investigate and repair a low oil pressure issue, I gave DYNAMICAR a call since they were reasonably close and they popped up in. Google search for Volvo specialists. Anyway, Brent—the service manager/owner—said I could bring the car in that day even though it was within 30 minutes to closing time. The assessment was quick and major work was required, but Brent gave me a great deal on parts and labor. And although the final cost exceeded the original estimate, due to extra labor, it was reasonable. It was certainly a much better deal than if I had the repair done in Duluth where everything is overpriced. The job was completed in reasonable time too. I’m a satisfied customer and would not hesitate bringing my car there again even though it’s a 3 hour drive.

I took my vehicle here once before to repair some body damage, and lights the best they could with my limited budget.I found the staff to be professional, courteous, warm and welcoming.They did what they said they needed to do, and had it ready. I was running a little late and they even stayed open 20 minutes later for me.I have lived in a lot of different areas, and no other automotive shop has earned my trust this quickly.

They did a terrible job on my truck they had it for a week and a half and didnt fix anything. I had them do my steering gear box and windshield wipers and they both still dont work properly. Plus I had them look at my rear end and he charges me 900 to look at it and not even fix anything. so from my experience I will never recommend this place or go back.

I brought my truck in for repair. I was given a tour of the shop, it was very clean and tidy. Everyone working was friendly. After they finished my truck repair ahead of schedule I brought my car into them also. That was also done quickly and professionally. I will certainly be bringing my vehicles here from now on.

If you are looking for a professional, no B.S., straightforward shop who is more concerned with establishing long term relationships with customers than they are with milking each job for as much money as they can, then look no further.TLDR: Dynamicar, specifically Brent, saved me about $6K in repair bills on my vehicle, please do read on if you are looking for auto repair.After noticing a knocking noise coming from my engine in my relatively new vehicle, I searched online for a reliable mechanic to have a look, I chose Dynamicar based on their reviews and decided to bring my vehicle in to them. I had my car in the shop the same day that I had called, Brent is a busy man, but he keeps things moving quickly. He took a look at the dipstick and oil and noticed some metal shavings, and said that it looked like the engine damage could be severe and the engine was likely going to need to be replaced. With that said, he told me that he wasnt ready to make that determination yet and asked me to leave the car over night so they could take a deeper dive and give me a proper prognosis. The next day I went back to the shop and Brent showed me that there were metal shavings in my oil filter, oil, and reservoir and confirmed that an engine replacement was the only route. He let me take pictures and took me in to the shop and let me look under the hood myself for documentation.It was at this point where Brent and Dynamicar had every opportunity to rake me over the coals, Brent showed me how much a replacement engine was going to cost ($3900) and roughly how much labor would be (about $2000). However, Brents objective from the start was not lets get this done and find out how you are going to pay for it but rather, who changed your oil last and did they do it correctly? He quickly pulled up a TSB (Technical Service Bulletin) stating that my vehicle requires a specific OEM oil filter which was not used by the company who last changed my oil. He then helped me understand the process of starting a claim with said company. To make a long story short, I pursued this and ultimately was not successful. I am still working with the company in question to get compensated, but they are denying responsibility for the engine damage, off the bat.Again, I was at the mercy of Dynamicar and was fully expecting to have to fork over a kings ransom to get my car fixed, but Brent wasnt done. He gave a dealership a call and asked them about my warranty, turns out, I was likely fully covered! The only reason I hadnt done this myself is because I was at 10,000 miles between oil changes and while I know that this should perfectly fine for full synthetic oil, it was 3x the recommended mileage from the place that had done my last oil change. Brent didnt seem as worried about this as I was from the start, and boy was he right. I had my car towed to the dealership, and low and behold, they approved me for a full engine replacement, free of charge. Wow.As stated above, I was looking at close to 6k in costs to get my vehicle fixed, but because of Dynamicar, and specifically Brent, I ended up paying far, far less (emphasis on far) for the diagnostics and labor that they had put in. I was ready to simply pay to get this done, and had even mentioned having to dip in to my retirement to do it, but Brent took the initiative to put me on the track that was best for me, and earned a loyal customer in the process.All in all, I regret nothing about taking my vehicle to Dynamicar, and have 100% confidence in choosing them for all of the work that I need done going forward, including oil changes and maintenance. If you are in need of auto repairs, choose Dynamicar with confidence, I know this was a long and drawn out review but I feel like the least I can do to reciprocate for them going above and beyond. Do not hesitate to give Dynamicar a call if you need auto repair or maintenance.

As a matter of fact a less expensive part was used because it was sufficient for what I needed. The cost of my total repair was the cheapest around. Excellent shop to have work done. My car was stuck one mile away from Dynamicar Auto shop last week in the evening in Shakopee, I called them and they suggested to get it towed to their shop. I called multiple towing companies and they mentioned a wait of about 2 hours for them to come and tow the vehicle to Dynamicar. It was getting late and i did not want to wait for 2 hours in the cold and hence called Dynamicar again and spoke to Brent, the owner. Brent was kind enough to drive down to me given my situation, checked the vehicle and determined my battery was drained. He had a portable battery charger with him and it started my car right away. He gave me helpful advice to get my batter to peak charging and did NOT charge me at all. This has been one of my most positive experiences dealing with an auto shop and i would recommend Dynamicar to anyone who needs automotive services. Had a loud buzzing noise at highway speeds in my 2014 AWD Taurus, I had thought it was a wheel bearing but wasnt certain. Dropped it off Sunday. By Monday afternoon I had a quote for the actual issue which was the PTU via a phone call. It was a great price and they where able to get it done the same day. Super quick turn around and great service.

I have been a customer of Dynamicar for about three years now after being referred there by a trusted friend. Ive been very impressed with how they explain work to be done and let me know what they recommend. With their expert knowledge they dont push repairs just to get the business but sometimes suggest an issue isnt urgent and that it can wait six months to a year. When it is a safety issue they give me recommendations on how to take care of it and consistently get it done quickly and at a very reasonable cost. Ive done some comparison and they always beat dealership pricing and even other independent repair shops.Once in a while I will have an issue after a repair and they have been great at standing behind their work and doing what it takes to make sure Im satisfied, usually at no cost to me. Ive had them work on Mercedes Benz, BMW, Saab, and Saturn cars and they have the experience to handle them all competently. I know they dont really advertise much and depend on referrals from satisfied customers to build their business. That strategy has obviously worked well for them. I unequivocally recommend them!

They always listen carefully to my car concerns and thoughts. Will only fix what is neccesary, unlike some shops that fix things that aren’t broken or in need of repair. Always let me know what is going on and follow up. Thanks guys!!!

Wow, Dynamicar exceeded expectations when I brought in my ‘99 Saab that had already been look at by two ‘good mechanics (misdiagnosed by the first and the second was unable to find any any solution). Bernie was great to work with. He is incredibly knowledgeable and has amazing customer service skills. Bernie was very informative throughout the process and bent over backwards to find a solution to my vehicles problem. I had the work done at the beginning of November and the car is still running great! 100% better than it was before AND no more issues! One of best auto repair shops I have ever experienced. Brent is a great guy who understands my needs and bends over backwards to make sure Im happy. Charlie is my go-to mechanic who knows BMWs because he owns one. Best mechanic ever! I dont know why I would ever use any other shop, unless I moved far away. Cant say enough about how great these guys are!

My Van blew a spark plug and these guys got me going again. They are very friendly and extremely helpful. I got a quote from the Ford Dealer and these guys did the job for ALMOST half to cost. I have always done my own work on all my vehicles, but I really trust this team. Because they did such a Great job on getting me going again, I even had them do other work, like change transmission and engine oil on my Van that I would have normally done myself. They are a shop that I can trust.

They took the time to truly figure out what was wrong with my car before doing anything and it ended up being a cheaper fix then what was originally thought. They truly care about their customers and their customers cars. Plus sometimes they have a cute dog there!

Have an older Volvo that was experiencing electrical issues and couldnt find a mechanic with answers to resolve the issues. I had heard of Bernie and his knowledge of what we use to call foreign cars. After some searching, found Bernie at Dynamicar and he lived up to his reputation! We discussed possible issues, how Bernie would test for each. He called me several times with updates...and his discovery of the issues. Now runs like a clock! Cant say enough good things about the service and most importantly, the opportunity to speak directly with the mechanic! Reminds me of the good old days!

Very helpful and informitive shop. Very clean and well kept facility. Owner doesnt play games and doesnt try to scam you. Takes the job very seriously and has the most adorable puppy 😊. 100% do recommend.
