Had a family vacation and our vehicle had a tire losing air fast. We made it to a bank and called. Mark came out filled up the tire and told me his shop was a mile down the road. I followed as quick as I could. Mind you, this was all done without an appointment. I backed in, Mark took the tire off, and pulled out a screwdriver of all things…just wild. Patched my tire. Wonderful experience! We were camping nearby and my husband had to go back to Nashville for an emergency. My sister and I stayed here. My husband took our truck and we had the car. I stopped by Wears Valley Auto repair because I had some issue with my vehicle that day. I stopped by and they ran a diagnostic test for me. The test showed there were no issues with my vehicle. I truly appreciated their honesty and letting me know there was no issues with my vehicle. They could have easily told me some expensive issue needed fixed but they were honest with me. Many times being a single woman you are concerned that you will be taken advantage of, but this company was very honest and reputable. I will definitely refer them to anyone in this area

I had a nail stuck in my tire and was headed back home the next day. They were able to get me in on Saturday, repair the tire in 15 minutes and get us on our way. And it was only $15. We really appreciate the fast service and fair pricing. Thanks again

We got a flat tire while trying to make it up the mountain to our rental cabin. We brought our van here on Thanksgiving day. They were obviously closed for the holiday but saw we were there and came right over to see what we needed. We were suppose to be leaving on Sunday and they didnt open until Monday. They fixed our tire right then and there. On Thanksgiving!!! Now thats what I call customer service. (Which is hard to come by these days) 5 stars doesnt come close to these guys! My mom and I called this stop during vacation when the oil light came on. They were able to order the specific oil we needed and get us in to see them the same day! We overestimated how long it would take us to get there and arrived about a half hour early, but they took us right in. We also met their beautiful cat, Smokey, who kept us company while the oil was changed. 😊 It was a great experience and well definitely be keeping them in mind if anything goes wrong with the car next time we are in the area.

Received an absolutely amazing experience from these wonderful people!! I was having issues with what I thought was my brakes while on vacation, because my tire light was coming on and flashing. After trying three different repair shops, that turned me away because they were too busy, these folks got my vehicle right in instantly. Our 6 hour drive from Ohio turned into 10 hours due to car trouble! We had finally made it to Tennessee and our car would barely make it up the hills! We were stressed, couldn’t find a rental! What a start to our vacation! Thankfully, Wears auto was 5 minutes from our cabin and had stellar reviews! I can see why now. The lady at the front desk and two gentlemen that worked on our car were so fun spirited and truly cared about us! They had the part ordered and installed within an hour! (45min was just waiting on the part to be delivered) they had it fixed in NO TIME! The best part was, last year we had the same problem on a different part of our engine. They charged us the same as our local mechanic in Ohio. I was worried with us being “tourists” they would up the charge. Nope! They took care of us like family. Amazing job! Im always wary about having my car worked on. Its hard to find someone trustworthy these days. I was excited when I found a place close to my home and with an amazing 5 star review! 😮‼💯 Let me tell you, we called and set up an appointment at 2pm for my oil change, filter, and brakes. You could automatically tell by talking to them on the phone that they cared about you and were happy to help. I got there and it was like being with old friends. They got done with everything in a timely manner, were honest about my brakes not needing replacement (most would have said they replaced them and still charged me) the squeaking was from the coating so they resurfaced them for me! Also all I had on me was a card and their machine happened to be down. They let me take my car to the bank to get the money. It reminded me of the good ole days when everyone knew everyone and helped one another. If you need work done go here! You will be happy you did!

All of the great folks at Wears Valley Brakes and Auto really came through for us in a tough situation. The 4WD on our Jeep got stuck in 4 Low because of the linkage breaking and we had to crawl at 15 mph many miles out of the Park to the repair shop. Mark and his mechanic Lloyd “saved” our vacation, literally. We needed rear brakes and rotors while visiting the Smokies. They fixed us up and were as friendly people as you will ever meet. So, the part of how they “saved” our vacation. While driving in the mountains, a black bear jumped out of the forest in front of our SUV, requiring me to brake hard. We did, we stared in disbelief as this bear crossed the road and then we continued on our trip, a little humbled and with a lot of thanks. Mark is honest and has a great business. Lloyd has some amazing life stories to share too!!

My Yukon wheel bearing went out during our vacation. Obviously, not a fix that could wait or last the 700 miles back home. I called and spoke with Mark who was more than accommodating. I thought I got great service when I was on vacation, but a month after I returned home my front brake pads and right front rotor had to be replaced. I was told the two inner pads were put on the right front tire and the two outer pads on the left front instead of an inner and an outer pad on each. When I asked Wears Valley to compensate they denied those were the pads they put on and refused to compensate in any way.

Heard a grinding noise while I was on vacation when I called they managed to get me in on the same day. We visit the area often as we own a cabin in Little Valley Mountain Resort. Weve never needed a mechanic while on vacation but thanks to the Internet, we found Mark. We noticed a scary brake noise on a Friday night/Saturday morning and knew we needed to take care of it right away. Mark was caring, quick and professional. He even stayed later than his usual Saturday afternoon closing time to replace our rear brake pads, at a great price. Highly recommended!
