I own a 2018 Ford F-150. Twice Volunteer Chevrolet body shop has worked very hard repairing and painting my truck. I could’ve taken it anywhere to get it repaired but I know the pride and quality Josh, Brandon and the crew in the body and paint shops do. I just got my truck back today, Monday November 1st after 33 days. It looks and drives better than the 1st day I drive it off of the lot in Knoxville! Outstanding work! This includes body, paint and detail crews!
I called and talked to River. She said that new brake rotors would be $200 installed plus tax. She transferred me to Service and they said shes new and doesnt know what shes talking about. He then transferred me back to her and she said shed call me back. She never did. Well I needed the brake rotors turned, so I made an appointment for noon on Monday. When I got there, they said all the techs were out to lunch...? Why make an appointment for noon when theres no one there to work on anything? I told them I was pretty sure that the back rotors needed turned. After waiting over three hours, they came and said they turned the wrong ones... They turned the front rotors, but it was the back ones that needed turned, as I had told them. They did make it right by getting me a rental car for the night and not charging me for the front rotors being turned, but they need to do better if Im going to do business there. Were looking for a new car and cant find one anywhere. I know thats not their fault, but if service is lacking, it makes one want to buy someplace else.
In and out in a very reasonable time. Very good to check if we needed anything.
I had car trouble on my vacation. And they tried their best to take care of it. Worked me into to their schedule and were very accommodating. I would recommend them to any local people.
We were in town on vacation and planning to leave the next day, Saturday. I called the dealership and they didnt have an appt until Tuesday but said to bring my truck in on Saturday and they would try to fit me in. They got me in and diagnosed my truck with a valve failure . They then assisted me in getting an Enterprise vehicle so we could go home. Two weeks later my truck was fixed and delivered to my doorstep in Michigan. Brooke Hayes went out of her way to turn a potentially very bad experience into a pleasant one. Thank you Brooke.
I would give a 0 if I could. Our truck stopped up on the mountain. The tow truck took us to this location after I called and was told they would get to it in 2 days. Upon arrival, someone came out and said it would be a week before they could get to it. Then we were told they would do a test the next day. Since other dealerships told us the same thing we left it there, telling them we had a 40’ fifth wheel and had to be out in 3 days because the campground was booked full. They never touched our truck, saying they were short handed. Come on, most places will get to you if your stranded! We ended up having someone drive over 300 miles from home who fixed the problem in less than an hour in the parking lot. Then he drove over 300 miles back home. Volunteer could have done this in 30 minutes with the proper tools. Some customer service!! Shame on you!!
We purchased 2 vehicle there, but customer service is going down to the hill. New kid name Daniel told us take the car somewhere else, soon as we walked in, and it will take a week until someone will look at the vehicle! Not even offering another transportation because I have to work every single day. His attitude and approach of his job was unacceptable. We have to take our car after just sitting on the lot for 3 days untouched and not even a phone call....absolute lock of interest and bad name of this place!
I took my 2013 Chevy Equinox in to Volunteer Chevrolet in Sevierville Tennessee for a recall repair and oil change and upon my arrival as I entered the absolutely gorgeous Studio that they had for displaying the cars you see a handsome young man with the big smile on his face greeting you and putting you in the right direction also the service guy that was helping me you know check in and everything was super super nice and very informant he knew exactly what I was therefore because I used my Chevy app to make the appointment so they knew all of the information I just had to sign and dates one paper and it was ready to go while I waited they had a really nice layout for the people to wait while their cars are being serviced but I chose to just take a walk around the lot to look at all the cars and I actually found a car that we are going to purchase and the sales guy I spoke with was amazing he let me know about plenty of options that I had no idea about that would lower my payment give me better interest rates Therefore because I used my Chevy app to make the appointment so they knew all of the information I just had to sign and date one paper and it was ready to go while I waited they had a really nice layout for the people to wait while their cars are being serviced but I chose to just take a walk around the lot to look at all the cars and I actually found a car that we are going to purchase and the sales guy I spoke with was amazing as well. He knew exactly what I wanted and gave me lots of knowledge about how we could get a new ride and still be able to get our daughter a new ride as a graduation gift. So thanks to everyone at VOLUNTEER CHEVROLET.
I would like to thank Paul Brantley and his team. While on vacation our window regulator broke. We were unable to get our window to go back up. We took a chance and stopped in to see if someone could help. Paul was able to assess the problem and order parts to fix the window. They were able to work us in and fix it in a timely manner. We were able to get it fixed before returning home.
I had an amazing experience here. Another mechanic was holding my traverse hostage and claiming they couldnt figure out what was wrong with it. I called Chevrolet dealership and Cody answered the phone. He worked with me to get my vehicle over there and called the day after I dropped it off saying it was fixed. It actually was finally fixed and for only $280! I definitely wouldnt take my vehicle anywhere else.. Cody was the best to deal with!
Totally takes advantage of women!! Pd 159. For diagnosis.. Proceeded to tell me it would b 750. Plus tax to fix my AC.. I ordered the so called dealer part. For 129. And pd All Star muffler & brakes 60. To install!!!! Total cost.....199.!!!!! Thanks All Star
I have been in customer service over 30 years and this company is lacking that they do not listen, I had to ask same question several times I had to say just listen to what Im asking for them to answer my question and this was on several occasions, work on car was ok when finally got done except my back light was out I would of made a suggest a sale by pointing out my light was out and offering to replace.AGAIN CUSTOMER SERVICE
We were coming back from vacation to the Outer Banks NC on our way home to Missouri when the wheelbearing went out. Found Volunteer Chevrolet & they took us right in & fixed it & we were back on the road in 3 hours. The staff & service were friendly & knowledgable & helped us through what was a worrisome situation. Great job Volunteer Chevrolet Thank you!
Rusty was super helpful! He is willing to work hard to get you a good deal on your next new car! I would recommend him to everyone who is looking for a new car!
10/10 recommend!! Chris was very patient with my boyfriend and I through the whole 3-4 hours we were there. He stuck us in a great car (2019 Nissan Versa) and even got us close to the monthly payments we wanted!! Very sweet people. Will be returning in the future 🙂
Excellent customer service!! Especially from Chelsea Short!! While in Gatlinburg on vacation we had a major problem with our truck that was under warranty. Volunteer Chevrolet treated us like we had bought the truck from them! Beyond satisfied with the help and service they provided us!Paul & Jennifer Brantley, Florida
Volunteer Chevrolet rocks! And Cody Allen and Daniel Romine make it a great place to go for your automotive sales and service needs
The staff were very nice.. It didnt take long to complete my oil change.. The lounge was great....And the price was good.. But the people there are always so friendly and helpful.
Thanks to Chris Cain, Jason Whaley & Jason Russell My son was able to purchase his 1st car from a dealership. It was an excellent experience for him. Great team work and great place to purchase a vehicle. Thank you again.
Brandon was extremely helpful when needing to have my sons car repaired. He was very attentive to the situation and time frame it took to have the work completed correctly.
Brandon and his crew At the body shop offer amazing service, extremely high attention to detail in all the body work they do and the best customer service you will find ! You will not find a better body shop or customer service around period ! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!
Mike was great. We took the Trax right off the show room floor and drove it home. He worked with us to calculate the down payment to get a monthly payment to fit our budget. We already did all of or normal service work at Volunteer Chevrolet and they have always been super.
Very helpful and was quick getting us in and out. Great experience!!
The service counter young lady was outstanding! Her customer service was spot on and hassle free and her explanation and follow up was excellent. The technician and service manager were very thorough and went the extra mile to keep us safe! We felt the team went above and beyond to expedite and remedy the problem that we had.
Daniel was amazing. I had a wonderful experience at this dealership and would recommend it to anyone!
I had a great experience with the folks from Volunteer Chevrolet. The folks were very helpful, and the purchase process was about as smooth of a process as I have had when trading in and purchasing a vehicle. Thanks to the staff.
Excellent experience with the sales team, especially with Chris who helped us out. We found the vehicle best for our needs and they gave us a fair price for our trade. We were treated like friends of theirs as soon as we arrived. The service department quickly got our Suburban ready with some service we requested and we couldnt be happier. Thanks again!
Brandon and Justin at the body shop have been a tremendous help to me. They guys at the body shop do great work, and they take responsibility and ownership of the problem, whatever it is, to get it solved. Thanks guys!
Will not take check, only people they like. Ok work on your car so far
Staff friendly dealership that will work with you.
Dropped off my 2015 Mustang GT Premium to have the rear bumper repaired and painted. The car is Magnetic Grey/Silver and I was very skeptical that they could spray it and make it match without being able to tell it had been repaired. Shop Manager Brandon Surber handled the entire repair with the upmost professionalism start to finish. He also handled my rental car. He took all the headache out of this. His team went right to work on my car and the body work guys knocked it outta the park. Painter Gary Reagan blended the very tough color like an absolute pro and when I came to pick up my baby just 3 days after dropping it off, it is FLAWLESS. I could not recommend a place any more than I do this one.Typically, I dont take the time to do reviews but this time, more than warranted one. My car is my pride and joy like they are to a lot of people and to say I was nervous would be a massive understatement. Being able to see the blend, especially with a color that is nothing but metallics is almost a guarantee in my past experience and although Mr. Surber advised me that this would not be an issue for his team I was incredibly skeptical. Upon picking the car up I went over it with a fine tooth comb, checking every angle, even using a flashlight to find any imperfections and not only was there zero imperfections, the finish matched absolutely perfect to the factory paint next to it.The detail team also does not need to go unmentioned here as they cleaned the car inside and out and it literally looked just as good as it did the day I drove it home new. This entire team went above and beyond any and all previous experiences Ive had at body shops in the past. My business will never go elsewhere from now on. I highly suggest Brandon Surber and his team at Volunteer Chevrolet Body Shop . Thanks guys!!
Service department was excellent. I lost a diesel injector on saturday July 3rd and the 4th was being observed on Monday July 5th. their service department was the only one open on the 5th where they split up the team between Friday and Monday observance. they took us in immediately with no appointment, being stranded on vacation, and had us back on. the road in a few hours. they were super nice and made sure that our needs were met. I would definitely recommend them for locals and vacationers alike.
This experience in regards to the service performed on my 2021 GMC Sierra with under 6k miles on it was disappointing to say the least.1. While transiting at highway speed from Chesapeake, VA to Gatlinburg, TN, my vehicle check engine light came on and simultaneously received a message stating that service was required in the next 7 days. I immediately scheduled a service appointment but was unable to leave any details regarding the purpose of the service request. The only option was to make an appointment for an oil change; which left me explaining to the very kind service attendant the true reason for the appointment on the day of my appointment.2. The appointment and repair where completed that day which was a huge positive considering I was on vacation3. The disturbing issues that I experienced were unprofessional and need to be addressed with your staff .a) Diagnostics disclosed a faulty wheel sensor on the passenger front; but there was clear indications that the technician had performed some disassembly on the drivers side front. I performed a visual inspection of the vehicle following the repair, with the Volunteer Chevrolet representative present during the inspection.b) Upon first indication of an issue the sales manager was requested (Senior employee available) the spray on undercoating was discovered all over the drivers side suspension. It was evident that it was not sprayed there and was transferred due to contact transfer during the repairs.c) undercoating was discovered on the exterior center of the driver door as well.d) the driver side door handle had paint damage in numerous locations from improperly being protected from damage in the repair shop. These discoveries where less than appealing and frankly surprising from what I thought was a reputable dealership/service department. I was very verbal in regards to my disappointment in the service I received which was most likely not directed at the correct individual. Nevertheless my trust and confidence that I would leave the area was minimal during my time in the area.Feel free to contact me if you need or desire further information or images to correct deficiencies at your dealership.R/JT Parkin
Much friendlier and less expensive than the small town dealerships. Great experience!!
My experience with volunteer cheverlot has been great unless you have a problem question or concern during their lunch time.
I was impressed with the Service. And will keep coming back.
I bought my truck in May of 2020 and unfortunately just recently someone over corrected their parking and went down the side of my truck. I took it back to the dealership because they have a body shop. I dealt with Brandon in the Body Shop and he assured me that they would fix it. They were AMAZING!! I have my truck back and it looks BRAND NEW--INSIDE & OUT!! THANK YOU BRANDON AND YOUR TEAM FOR DOING SUCH AN AMAZING JOB!!!!!! I ❤ MY CHEVY COLORADO!!❤
Brandon in the body shop was simply amazing!!after getting the run around from 2 other managers who no longer work there for 8 months or so Brandon took care of the service shops screw up!!my suv looks brand new again..than you so so so much for the body shop @ Volunteer Chevrolet..Brandon and your team did amazing work!!
Very polite and a great salesman. Good men.
Constantly bringing it back to the dealership to fix the original problem I took it for due to them not putting parts back correctly.
Parts dept was quick and easy to deal with
I was on my way to Tennessee on vacation when my check engine light came on. So I stopped at Volunteer Chevy and they got right on it! I was in and out in less than a half hour! The service manager was great to deal with and the tech was on it!
We were in Seiversville on vacation and our bracks needed immediate attention. The Service Department worked us in on a very busy day and even got the repair finished ahead of the projected time.
Very nice people and they hold to their word. And help make whatever you need done convenient for the customer. I will definitely be doing business with them more often.
Chris Cain was very knowledgeable and very friendly to deal with. He took the time to explain about the Trailblazer safety programs in the car so that I could understand and be able to work with them to keep me and the car safe.
Always professional and kind.
It was a decent experience aside from the close to 2 hour wait for paperwork
Very easy to deal with and met all time lines as I was told from the start.
We were in Seiverville on 08/21 in our brand new Equinox. We had traveled from Michigan and we were at our cabin for 3 hours when a dead tree fell on the hood of our Equinox. We called Volunteer Chevy and spoke with Brandon, the body shop manager. He was great. He put us in touch with a tow service to get our vehicle and Brandon stayed in constant touch with us throughout the process. We returned to Michigan in a rental and figured the repairs to take 3 to 4 weeks. However, in two weeks time the repairs were completed and the work that was done on the vehicle was tremendous. It could not have been done better. We drove down to get our vehicle and return to Michigan first thing the next morning. Brandon was there at 8 am and had us on the road by 8:15. In a trying time, it was pleasure to deal with Brandon and Volunteer Chevrolet. You can have confidence that the body shop will treat you right.
The staff was friendly, and explained everything that was done to my car
One of the easiest vehicle purchases we’ve ever made!! Bob was great. Traded a vehicle in we were upside down on but he still made it work.
Took time to diagnose the problem and fixed in a timely manner with a car to drive as well
Service has always treated us well at this location. We are not happy that we had a computer issue less than 2 weeks of purchasing this vehicle. We hope this is not going to be an ongoing issue. Fortunately Marvin Maples came to the rescue of my husband who was stranded It is clear why Marvin has so many satisfied customers!
So let me tell you my experience with Volunteer Chevrolet! As someone who is born 45 minutes outside of the city of Detroit Michigan, and he was from Toledo Ohio where Jeep manufacturer exists! I went onto there a lot with the understanding that they were going to sell me a vehicle that would run! when I talked to the dealer he told me that the vehicle scene a 129 point inspection on the vehicle! the car was a 2006 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo! Which is the very vehicle that I have today! I have dropped two new engines a transmission a torque converter, radiator, battery, two new oxygen sensors, manifold for new tires, And lets not forget about the labor and cause that goes along with maintaining this particular vehicle. Some would wonder why would you spend that kind of money on keeping this vehicle going! Two reasons! One if I allowed the Y12 Credit Union to eat the cost this would have affected my credit in other words what credit! And the Yankees Schooner name! 129 point inspection? What did you do go in there and just hit it with a stick 129 times? Luckily I own my own home and I could struggle to incur the cost until I could get the new engines put in! My concern was not about me! As it is about those who are just struggling to get by. The cost that I incur would have crippled any family that would have been living from paycheck-to-paycheck! My suggestion here in the great state of Tennessee is to change these laws to suit the needs of the people not these car companies that Lobby so that can be above the rule of law! In any other venue this would be considered a crime or fraud! But because the american people have taken there eyes off the ball these type of charlatan, snake salesman. Can get away with it! But in many ways I should thank them! Because I have learned a lot since this vehicle! Number one never ever buy a vehicle unless it has a warranty! Make sure that the price that they quote you on the car is the price that you sign when you go into the office! Watch these people! Because we have seriously considered walking in there with body cams to videotape there what I would consider predatory and In any other state in the Union illegal activity. The End
Great experience, brought my Grandmother in to look at a new vehicle and our salesman was so helpful and patient. The finance manager took great care of her and made sure the whole process went smooth. She is going to love her new Equinox! Thank you everyone for the experience, its great to see a dealership where customer satisfaction is really the number one priority.
While on vacation we had a problem with our sunroof and it would not close. We brought it to this dealership for help. The service manager was very kind and knowledgeable. Unfortunately, the repair will take longer than we will be here. They applied crash tape to keep it covered while we travel home. We are ever so grateful for their kindness to us. Blessings to the service manager and service technicians. This is a dealership that cares.
Was from out of state and they got my car fixed in no time! So nice
While on vacation, we discovered a nail in a tire. We went to Volunteer Chevrolet and were seen by Daniel in 5 minutes of arrival. Our problem was handled with expert service in record time.
Never answer phone no communication. Paid 1300 dollars and 2 days later same issues with car. No one answers phone to let them know its not fixed right.
I am from out of town and something was literally dragging from my car making a horrible noise and a burning smell. PAUL the sweetest service tech ever helped me out and showed me that the piece was not even from my car it just melted to my exhaust after we must have run over it. Vacation saved!!! If this is how Volunteer Chevrolet treats tourists then EVERYONE in the area should go to their service department. Many thanks Paul for being so kind and providing stellar customer service!!!!
Everyone was Awesome 😊And we are from AlabamaROLL TIDE ROLL!!!
Went in to just see what was out there. Mike greeted us and made us feel at home. No high pressure sales pitch. When im ready to buy ill for sure be visiting Mike to close a deal.
I found the car I purchased through cars.com. When speaking with the dealership, initially they seemed surprised I had already aquired outside financing for the vehicle and tried an annoying amount of times to get me to go with their in house financing. Upon inspection of the vehicle I noticed that the interior lights did not work, and that the coolant reservoir was empty. While the interior lights were negligible, I was given the impression that they skipped or carelessly inspected this vehicle when they took possession of it because of the empty coolant reservoir. When bringing these issues, along with the cars substantially long time on the lot, and substantial high markup over market value of the car to the dealership as negotiable factors to the price they absolutely refused to budge whatsoever. Also the new car selection was extremely small so I chose to avoid the purchase of a second vehicle from this particular dealership. As a person who regularly purchases and resells vehicals from dealerships this was one of the more difficult and unpleasant ones so I would not personally return, however my salesman Chris was awesome and if the dealership has what you want in inventory, he would be a pleasure to work with.
Wonderful service, we were out of town and unfortunately had an issue with the brakes on our Silverado. Thankful for the Volunteer Service staff that helped us get back on the road.
Save your money and time, they are useless. No more than an oil changing center. The service department techs have no idea of what they are doing, lack of experience! With having so many tourists in the area, they have the ability to have a great sevice experience. But this company is all worried about when lunch is and how to avoid the customer. Its sad.Save your money and time at this dealership! Go to Reeder Chevrolet in Knoxville! They are experienced and have a great customer service record.
On time quality work
I bought my 2020 Toyota Tacoma TRD off road from them. The manager and sales person were very kind, and willing to negotiate on price. If you want a fair deal on a vehicle, you should definitely us them.
Their Body Shop is amazing!!! Brandon and his team was great! Very respectful and honest. They always made sure to give me updates. I recommend them out of every body shop in sevier county!
Very professional. Had an issue with my right front tire, had a nail in it. They patched it and did my oil change in a timely manner. Great customer service as always 👍
Very unhappy with the parts department. Ive had accessories on order for 6 weeks and they dont even know where the order is, when it will be filled and keep saying theyll call me back and dont . Im going to be taking my business elsewhere if this is how Volunteer Chevrolet treats people.
Oil change a d alignment the truck pulled more to the left service manager switched the front tires thinking that would fix it. Well now I’m getting a vibration from the front end and I’m down in Fla. will have to spend money getting it checked out. WILL NEVER COME THERE AGAIN. Second time being disappointed with Volunteer
Down here on vacation. Found our floor flooded with water. Had what we thought might be an AC issue. Called. They got us in in 2 days! Let us know that because they were fitting us in that it might be a couple hours. It wasnt. They found and fixed the problem within a half hour. We watched the line of cars. They were BUSY. Even as busy as they were. They were helpful, courteous, and clearly good at what they do. Thank you for taking such great care of us
The Body Shop Team did an excellent job in three ways to earn my 5-star review: (1) perfectly repaired my 2018 truck back to its pre-wreck condition, (2) worked seamlessly with my insurance, and (3) completed the work in the time frame promised. The lead man set it all up, called to say it was fixed, and followed up a few days later to see if everything was right. He didnt ask me to put a review in. I asked him to send me one, or tell me where I could put one in. I would have no problem using them again, and would emphatically recommend them to family or friends if needed. A successful team doesnt just happen, its made to happen on the heels of good decisions and a genuine care for helping people. Volunteer Chevrolet & the Body Shop Team should be proud; theyve earned it.
Service center was very helpful
Great customer service and parts and service depts. Fast and reasonable. Appreciated your time and problems
Dealing with Brandon was a pleasure and the communication was great. I had confidence from the get go that everything would be done properly. A fantastic experience
2 favorite people: Paul Brantly service write up and my salesman, Chris.these 2 guys deserve to be praised. Thank you!
Excellent service.
Good place for repairs on your car.
We were on vacation and decided to just drop by to see what they had on the lot . To our surprise they had a much bigger selection of new Silverado pickups on the lot . Our salesman Kyler Collins greeted us and casually told us about the new features on the 2021 Silverado . What we liked about Kyler was he wasn’t a pushy salesman type !! Very friendly but low keyWe decided to take a test drive and really liked the vehicle . After the test drive I gave Kyler a verbal # of what we would be willing to offer . He said he would see what he could do .We drove away with his business card . Kyler still wasn’t pushy ! Through phone conversations back and forth we struck a deal . Upon agreement of price we entered the dealership and talked to the sales manager and signed all our paperwork. All in all an easy transaction. They didn’t try to push extended warranties on us either like some other dealerships which for us was a breath of fresh air . We highly recommendVolunteer Chevrolet.
Fast service, nice people
I am very trusting in the Volunteer staff!
Service Advisor never called with information on my vehicle. I had to call to see if completed and confirmed repairs. Brighton silver heart keychain wasnt on my keys when returned. Two deep marks in my dash after heater core replacement. Service advisor informed me the marks as already on dash. My vehicle has only had normal maintenance. And I would have noticed one my climate control before. Not a happy customer
As my emails aren’t being answered, please find my full email and complaint below:I never rated my overall experience the last time I had a scheduled maintenance. I would rate my experience as a 0.First off, I never received a reply back to my email from Nathan, a representative at Volunteer Chevrolet. And, upon arrival, I was greeted by a very disgruntled employee.Fast forward to my move across country to Illinois, my tires are completely worn at only 11,500 miles. I took it to a local dealership where I was informed that my alignment was causing dangerous driving conditions. Please find the images attached.I had to pay for a new alignment and also have to cover the cost of new tires. I would like to speak with a supervisor or manager because this is absolutely unacceptable. I bought this vehicle brand new and have treated it like my child as I’m still paying it off.I hope we can work something out to cover the cost of all of this because amid this pandemic, this is not ideal.I look forward to hearing from someone soon.
The BEST experience EVER with purchasing a vehicle. We live over 3 hours away from this dealership and WILL only be using this dealership for future purchases.
Poor experience with service dept. 5 days to get a starter replaced. Going to Stinnet in Newport next time
So friendly and got us in and out for oil change.
Tami service representative very helpful and friendly. From out of town and visiting our parents, I needed a new battery for my Chevy 3/4 ton pickup she took very good care of me went above and beyond made sure it was just the battery received a new battery and out the door in about 45 minutes diffenly would come back when we move down here
Always courteous and vehicle is finished promptly!
Always great service and friendly faces
Awesome. Were very flexible to work with me and my fiance. Very patient.
When I need accessories for my truck they got them in the next day and when I needed services I was in and out in a favorable time.
VERY PLEASED WITH REPAIR WORK BRANDON CALLED VERY WEEK TO LET ME KNOW HOW THINGS WHERE GOING. I WOULD LIKE TO THANK YOU ALL FOR YOUR SERVICE
They were very busy but got to me the best they could. Very friendly.
Awesomely quick!
In and out. Problem free process. Easiest car purchase I have ever made.
Got me in and out without an appointment. A little waiting time but well worth it since I am traveling through. Very friendly.
Friendly service staff. Even though they had to order parts, the vehicle was fixed ahead of schedule.
Scott and Mike very helpful
