I was visiting from out of state when car trouble struck in the mountains with front end issues. He couldve really taken me for a ride but instead he fixed the problem quickly and was very reasonable. This is a repair center that you count on for their knowledge and integrity!! My child and I were very fortunate to have called him for help.

We were visiting the area from Northern Michigan. Along the trip we developed a gas leak. I was able to get my vehicle in, repaired and for a reasonable price. We made it back home safely and without any foul odor I might add! I did my reviews before taking my vehicle there and it’s the truth, as a traveler I highly recommend them!

Car messed up while on vacation. Was warned it may be awhile if it was a major issue. Happened to be a minor issue and once diagnosed, I got my car back next day. Only reason it took till the next day was because they were closed for the day when my car was towed.. Dillan was professional and kind. Made a bad situation a lot better. Cost wasnt bad either

I had a bad banging noise on the left front of my van. I took it to Rocky Top Ford and they told me it was the hub that was most likely the problem. It would be in the neighborhood of $600.00. I took my van to Thomas and they called me approximately 2 hours later and said, come and get your van. The lug nuts were so loose he could turn them twice with his fingers. They will have my business. Thank you.

Do not take your car here!!! I paid these guys over $6,000 to fix my Chevy traverse and they had it for 3 months and didnt fix anything and gave me my car back in pieces! $6,000 just to have my motor laying in the backseat. Thanks for 6k paperweight. I will be looking into a lawsuit.

Its rare that I post a review, but wanted to give a shout out to Thomas Auto. Its hard to find a good auto repair shop that is honest and cares about the customer, especially when you dont know the area. My daughter was visiting Sevierville from out of state when her alternator went bad. I called Thomas Auto on a Friday afternoon and talked with Dylan and explained the situation of her needing a new alternator and the old one being under Warranty. He worked with us in squeezing her in that day, coordinating the replacement of the alternator with the parts store, and getting everything done before they closed for the weekend. All this and at a very reasonable cost.

We were out of town and our alternator went out, Thomas auto service and repair was able to get us in ASAP repaired it in a few hours and had us going so we could enjoy the rest of our vacation.

In fact, they looked at it right away —cleared the sensors and assured us there was nothing to worry about and sent us on our way. We were in and out in 20 minutes with no charge! My truck broke down on a Friday evening in Pigeon Forge and I had no idea who to call. A friend recommended Thomas Auto Center so I gave them a call. They recommended a towing service that I used to get my truck to them. The repairs were made quickly and both Thomas and the towing service were VERY reasonable!!! Plus all the employees were super friendly. I will DEFINITELY use Thomas Auto Center for all my work in the future!!!

Unfortunately I can only give these guys a 3. Initially they were very good at fixing our vehicles correctly the first time however the last few times we have had to bring our vehicles back multiple times to get it fixed correctly. Normally the guys are very cordial at the front desk and we appreciate that dont let this stop you from trying them hopefully they will fix your vehicle right the 1st time

We had just got into town and had brake issues. I added AAA app to my phone and found Thomas and so happy we did. The guys were friendly and the job fast and at a great price. I spent the whole time talking with a local, Woody, who comes there for all his car repairs. If it were possible I would drive from Maryland just to have work done there.

Very unprofessional. I went in there from a referral of a good friend, and they could’ve cared less why I was there. There were about 5 of them just standing there, staring. I didn’t get a professional friendly vibe from them. Instead, they made me feel as if I were a bother. I wouldn’t recommend going there. Not unless you wanna walk out feeling stupid.

Were from Detroit and experienced truck issues on day one. Truck sat for three days at a dealership, called Tom to take my truck to another dealership and he was on it asap! Great guy and great prices!

My exs diesel truck broke down in Pigeon Forge and needed to be fixed. The tow truck driver contacted Thomass and took the truck over and Im so glad he did. They are all great people and amazing mechanics. The truck is fixed and Im so thankful for all of them!

Thomas Auto is my always first choice mechanic. Let me start by saying they are a Christian company and that matters to my family.They are honest, friendly, and always fair prices. I have lived in Sevierville since 2005 and my first experience with a flat tire Thomas Auto plugged it for free! They were so kind I have always gone back! All these years Ive had ALOT done on 4 different vehicles and honestly I have never had one complaint.

The shop did well replacing the part that was needed (the shifter cable), but it took them a month to fix it. I understand that they are very busy, but it took them over a week to even look at my vehicle, when I was told they would look at it after a day or two and when it was finally fixed, they had VERY likely killed my battery and I had to go spend an additional $100~ after paying them $290~ to fix the cable (but that repair price is fair, the part alone was likely around $120 and then they probably had an hour to an hour and a half of work on it). Overall I am not impressed with their work and will take my vehicle elsewhere. Im not saying avoid the shop, Im just stating my experience with them.

If we could give no stars, we would. Took our 06 Tacoma in to get leak fixed. They replaced the part wth an old part, charged us for new part ( part and labor $450)! Took truck on a road trip, just to find out, it still has the leak! Had to take in to another mechanic out of state, they informed and showed us old part installed by this company.Will be reporting to BBB

Have continuing evaporated issue with our 03 EB Explorer and rough idle. Reconfirmed issue and attributed idle to moisture in system. Didnt charge for their time. Well deserved AAA raring.

Always fair prices and good job quality

I had an issue where Cecil, the shop manager, outright lied to me, saying that a repair should have cost $3,000 without looking at the vehicle. The total repair, once I had it towed to a reputable company and diagnosed, was less than $300. This company should have their AAA certification revoked, and I reported them to the BBB. Use them at your own risk!

Honest great service quick turnaround

We were in Gatlinburg on vacation and were beginning to have brake trouble. We were in a bind because we had make the 10 hour drive home the next day and we needed to get something done that day. I went to the Chevy dealer who was too busy to help me. When asked, the service manager referred me to Thomas Auto. We went to Thomas Auto Center and were greeted with an understanding of our problem and the timeframe we needed. They took my vehicle into the shop within 15 minutes and had me back on the road in a little over an hour. In many situations like that we all hope for the best when it comes to costs and timing and often get taken to the cleaners. The cost of repairs to my car were very reasonable. Good service, accurate diagnosis, timely quality repair, good price. These guys helped me out tremendously! What more could you ask for! I am forever grateful.

I was recently in Sieverville...coming in, we straddled a rock on the highway which caused a bent metal plate on one of the rear brake plate.. they were able to get us in and repaired quickly so we could enjoy our visit to the Smokys...and inexpensive repair...I would highly recommend them...for their honesty and integrity as well as their expertise...they are now my mechanic of choice when visiting this area...many thanks to them...

My wife and I was visiting Tennessee from Florida when my alternator went out. It was the day after thanksgiving and every mechanic was closed or too busy to fix our truck. We were scared of being stranded. These guys took us right in and had it fixed within a hour and a half. On top of that they were friendly.

They completely lied about what was wrong with my car. they swore it would be about 1500$ n tried to trick me into telling them to go ahead with it. i took it somewhere else n it was something completely different that only cost me about 500$ i will never be lied to by these ppl again. plus im sure that they are the ones that broke my ac bc it worked fine the first time i took it to them and it didnt work when they were done fixing my other issue. they are dishonest and only care about money. and they lie that is the worst part
