Great shop with a very friendly staff. Their breakfast bagel is prepared fresh and always hits the spot. A huge sandwich menu in which every option can be your favorite, and you can tell it’s made with love. I would recommend texting your order if you’re in a hurry and they will have it ready. Always a pleasant shopping, dining, and coffee experience.

Ive been going here for years now and their sandwiches are some of the best Ive ever had. Theres a really big selection of the basics for house and food, and well as snacks and drinks. Surprisingly also a fair amount of wine. They have super quick service when you need that in the morning, and are some of the most hardworking and friendly people Ive met!

This is a nice local convenience store that has all the usuals, plus some items more often found in grocery stores. I picked up a wide range of items for my new apartment, including a box of cereal, a frozen pizza, lime juice, and cherry hibiscus tea. The staff was happy, humorous, and helpful.

Im a regular here. This is a step between a grocery store and a convenience store. Theyve got espresso drinks and stumptown drip, and a really great selection of beer and cider including a section of 20 ouncers, which Ive never seen in a corner store. Tons of national and local craft as well as interesting imports, and a tidy section of domestic lager. Food and drinks are pretty comprehensive too. Great place if youre in the area.

I love this their sandwiches are awesome, they dont make sandwiches on Sunday, boo hook. they not fancy like the 4 seasons or just slam together like subways. Its quality toasted bread or not, 7 grain breads, ripe tomatoes, and green crispy lettuce then cheese and meat, served with a sliced of dill pickle. Heres the clinch they used quality paper to wrap your sandwinch fold with creases and your paper bag if to go is also smartly folded

The most friendly and likeable staff have left to work at other places. Sandwiches are good but if you order a specialty bread such as gluten free you get charged more money even though it isnt posted on the sandwich board. Two sandwiches came to over $20. Owner accused my friend of buying chocolate bars there and then reselling them on the streets (completely absurd).

Review №46

Good tasting meats and great crusty bread. Its extra money if you want to change your bread (wierd) and they dont tell you that. Be sure and get extra mayo or more olive oil and vinegar because all our sandwiches were dry. Definitely, definitely NOT New York style. Thats laughable. Any New York deli ( Bronx, Queens, Yonkers, to name a few) would have literally 3 times the meat!!!!!

Review №47

A surprisingly good deli / coffee shop / convenience store. Ill skip over the convenience store part (it has stuff, whatever). Finding a good sandwich in Seattle has proven surprisingly difficult. There are delis on the Ave (in name only), but nothing thats really stood out. Turns out the corner store nearest me was secretly a refreshingly good deli all along. Dont let the look deceive you, this place has some of the best sandwiches around. During lunch its crowded with a bit of a line and/or wait, but stick it out, its well worth it. The coffee has also proven to be superb; they carry Stumptown Coffee Roasters. The espresso machine is cleaned between every cup of coffee, avoiding that lingering / burned taste you get at so many other places nearby. Easily the best coffee in the U District.

My boyfriend and I love this little market! The staff are so helpful and friendly, and they have a great beer/wine selection. Recently experienced an untrained clerk try to ring up my four-pack one beer at a time.Today (2018-03-13) I overheard the owner tell a former employee that he was not going to receive his last pay check because he did not work the informally agreed upon three months.Small business owners which steal pennies from employed students take more from the UW community than they give.In recommend you go to the nearby Trader Joe’s instead. It will be cheaper and they pay and train their employees.

Probably the most convenient convenience store Ive ever been to. It has almost everything rolled up into one.3 stars mostly because the prices are astronomical by corner store standards. Expect at least a 30% mark up on almost everything. How do you sell a cookie for $2.50...Who buys that?!The ?owner? is really nice and teaches me a little Korean here or there.

I think its a bit overpriced, but its also one of the few places open late nights unless you want to go to Safeway almost a mile up the road. So if youre a weary college student up late and love close to here, I think its normally worth the hassle it saves to come here rather than Safeway *if you only need a few things*. Expect to find junk food, drinks (actually a decent selection of non-alcoholic and alcoholic), ice cream, some frozen dinners. Healthy options they do have milk, cheese, bacon, and some (bad) fruit, but very little selection. Theres also a deli but I dont think its open late night so Ive never tried it, although they all sell deli meat (which is again, overpriced).

Their sandwiches are always tasty, but I just had a Reuben ( I always get the Reuben) that was pretty skimpy, overall- they are usually pretty robust sandwiches.. This one had almost no kraut and they gave me wheat instead of rye.. For a sandwich that left me crestfallen I rate 2, for being nice people I rate a 5.
