Safeway stuff there are rude, ignorant, unprofessional, and unhelpful. They are stealing money from customers.I bought a $500 Apple Gift Card at Safeway but it is not working. The card is invalid. I went to their customer support, but they were not able to handle the case and asked me to call their support. The assistant on phone helped me to create a ticket and later emailed me a solution to either get a new card or refund from the store. However, the customer service at the store said that we are not reissuing a new card. All you can do is to call that number. It indeed becomes a Ping Pong game. I can not imagine this can happen in any store other than Safeway. Replacing or returning bad product is the baseline of a store.

Some good hot food. They run out quick. Just not a very welcoming experience. Everyone seems a bit on guard. Had much better experiences in many other places. Ive even had good experiences shopping at this Safeway, just not right now, covid-19 is screwed everything up.

I love the florist Natalie. She’s always doing a great job every time on my order. She’s a sweet heart person and works very hard. I see her there on every visit. I come here for my flowers purchases and ended up doing all of my groceries there even though I live in the south end. Thank you Ms. Natalie!!!

You can smell the urine coming from the bathroom floors when walking past.I came here for some sweet and sour chicken today and it had an irony taste. It was very strange and I hope someone isn’t tampering with the food back there.

A few customers and I sat in the bakery department laughing discussing how there was absolutely no food? what was there was stale and old and it was completely dirty and disgusting looking. The shelves were empty and dirty... Yuk.

As long as you dont seal, its a great place to shop. I needed to cash a check and it was like six and the banks were closed. So, I remembered that they can checks there, fast service helpful and it only cost 3 dollars to cash the check.😁

Great customer service, wonderful staff that accommodates and makes each trip an ease. Not too big of a store, but seems to always have a great selection of products.

Decent Safeway, not the biggest or smallest. Better than upper Queen Anne for sure. Good size floral and gift dept and a bunch of self-checkout registers. Cheap Chinese food if thats your thing. Public restroom is a single all-gender bathroom. Starbucks inside. Lot and underground parking.

Safeway is a pretty good store, unless you get there right before it closes, at which point, there is almost, always some sort of long line, because of the fact that they do not utilize the automated check out area, for some strange, unknown reason. Its an absolute demerit, if youre pressed for time.

Everything is as one can reasonably expect from a supermarket; there is nothing noteworthy about this store, which is às much a good thing as bad. Never used the restroom there, so I cannot include it in my estimation. Presumably, it is as unremarkable as the rest of the store. The place is clean, orderly and inviting, employees are friendly and competent.

I have always liked Safeway. They have great deals. The personnel are nice.

My favorite market. Clean, well stocked and fresh produce. For some reason they stopped selling field roast (Meat Substitute) I prefer this brand to the new miracle meat substitute. Hopefully they will bring it back.

After visiting this Safeway, I just wanted to run home and bathe! If you can find parking in the lot, you’ll have to pass through the usual suspects hovering around the entrance; junkies, crazies and panhandlers. Inside of store just has a grungy feel with typical Safeway prices and horrible selection. Unfortunately, I couldn’t find parking in the lot and had to use their parking garage which was filthy; broken glass everywhere, garbage, couple guys sleeping over in the corner and one guy openly casing cars. I didn’t want to touch any part of the filthy elevator; complete with disconnected wires dangling from the ceiling; presumably from a security camera. Only grabbed a few items from my long list as I was afraid my car would be broken into if I was gone to long. Going back out to my car, the guy that was earlier casing cars was hanging out by the elevator; I honestly feared for my own safety and felt like I had to walk to my car backwards for fear he’d run up behind me. Plenty of parking in the garage; no surprise there. Hopefully this eyesore goes out of business soon.

Clean, orderly, convenient, great hours…. But take away the processed packaged food, the consumables, health items and pharmacy and all you have is very high priced same day to day produce, a nice prepared food counter (during the day) uninspiring supermarket fish, low priced yet value chicken and a few nice items here and there. QFC has organic fruits that blow this away. QFC has much better fish. Trader Joe’s has prepared meals for two, fresh chilled wraps etc and Joe’s has a short freezer of food from around the world. If I did not use the pharmacy I would not spend $50 here a month. But on a walk through this place looks spic and span.

Clean, orderly conventional grocer. By cosmopolitan city standards, nothing remarkable here but they have a decent selection of organic, natural and gourmet offerings with many fair prices. The in-store bakery puts out mostly chemical-laden slop, substituting palm oils and shortening for butter in almost everything, which sucks. And, its fairly easy to skip their cookies and candy sections, probably a good thing. Some good sales. Good fresh and organic produce!

Good place to shop always has deals

It was a clean store, aisles a little confusing to navigate if youre not a regular, i would assume. Overall pleasant experience, seemed a bit short staffed, so your check out time might be longer than youd expect. Just bring some headphones to listen to music or something and youll be fine.

Great service by all the employees whole checking or in the self checkout lane as well as helping bag all of the items is just bought

Exceptionally helpful and kind help by LYNN on March 26th. I was in gruesome pain with a hip issue and had a friend helping me with groceries. Lynn was especially nice and helpful at check out, really makes a difference. Excellent Safeway with a superb selection at all times stocking product that a closer Safeway on 15th & East John doesnt. Thanks again so much.

The grocer clerk seemed a little aggravated about bagging my groceries. She has always come across as testy, but today she was exceptionally aggravated. I wasnt offended by her actions, but the fact that she was upset was enough where I thought it should be mentioned.

This is one of the larger Safeway Ive been too. Still a bit more pricey than some of its competitors in the area but at least they have good selection. Today, the Saturday before labor day there was only 1 cashier checking people out, with one bagger. I think its a ploy to get people to use self checkout, but I find it annoying when I still end up waiting in line even to use it, or make one error and have to call an attendant. 🙄

I visited this store on 7/17/2021 me and my 70 year old mother to use the restroom. I started in the garage that was untidy, to the elevator that was untidy When we reached the restroom it was ONE bathroom. One, in a Safeway that size. My mom couldnt prepare me for what I witnessed. Graffiti all over, strong urine smell... Big paper towel roll on the wet floor. No toilet paper, paper towels all over floor with feces on it. Informed the manager Jamin he came over and shared they cant control the amount of traffic coming through and that they clean every four hours. He did call someone to clean it but its beyond cleaning. It is very unsanitary. It needs to be clean, sanitized and remodeled. It is beyond what a manager alone can do. That Safeway restroom need immediate attention and expansion. Thank you.

I understand that its a heavy traffic area for the less fortunate individuals in life. And honestly the store does do very well on making it difficult for theft and the like.But it is kind of a hassle for the individuals who are fortunate enough to have what they need in life.Overall, great methods for theft prevention. But just be careful for the less fortunate people, because they do hang out in groups and dont seem to care about anyone else.

Underground parking, quick in and out, a great place to shop for something, like just some bacon.

Store is of average guality. 50% of the time theyll be out of what you want.

2 hour EV parking but the storw is ok. $17 for a watermelon!

Decent stop when youre looking for an item QFC doesnt have, or know exactly what you need to get. Nice cashiers but they are rather slow (and there are usually 1-2 registers open) so best to stop in on non-peak times if possible. Also frequent drug use in the bathroom meaning shoppers cannot use it. But its well laid-out and they stock most items.

It is a combination of things they offer at this Safeway gas station with a discount gas for the members, lots of parking, pharmacy the reason I was there, real good lunch buffet and Chinese buffet good fried chicken really good bakery, big produce section, ATM, Starbucks real good seafood section fresh and friendly service.

Full service Safeway has all your food wants and needs.

This Safeway was very disappointing when compared to other locations I have been to.1st off I was followed by what I am guessing to be loss prevention. From the moment I entered the first isle they were right there. Every where I went 1 of the 2 loss prevention officers were right there. It got to the point where I had to ask them to please stop following me because they were making me very uncomfortable. They responded with a dirty look and proceeded to crowd me even more.2ndly the selection of goods they have is pitiful. For example their milk cooler is 2 coolers of barely any brands of milk. Same to be sad with pretty much every department. Very disappointing!I dont know why this location pales in comparison to other locations but it does. If possible go to another location to avoid this disappointing disappoinment.

The Quest Diagnostics was non-responsive when I inquired about a drop in appt. No one answered and took too long.

A little dingy but no more than your usual Safeway. Limited staff in the evening but theres plenty of self check out stations so no issue there.

Didnt go inside only went to there gas pump and tk be honest I was impressed a gentleman in a wheel chair was out there sanitizing the pump handles and where someone might touch while using the pumps. I give it a 5 star

EXPENSIVE AF!! COULD have gotten the same EXACT ITEMS, at Renton Wal-Mart, at 1/2 PRICE..reason why we didnt, the drive from Ballard Wa. To Renton wa. Especially if we were going after/during the Rush hour

The staff are very rude and do not seem to care at all who the night offend at any point.

Due to the homeless camps down the block, theft has led to there only being like 3 hand baskets.

This is my local neighborhood Safeway. I live and work nearby so it isnt unusual for me to visit once or twice a day on a regular basis. This has given me an opportunity to get to know the staff and management of this store, all of whom are terrific. When its super busy its super busy so avoid high traffic times if you dont want to wait long to check out. Hint: even if the self check is 10pp long it goes faster than you think because it rotates out 6 customers per cycle. Lines seem longer with 6 feet physical distancing, too. Anyway, good store.

I rarely visit this location because its not close to home, so when I stopped in about 30 minutes to them closing, I was greeted by all the employees who were working, including the MOD, which was really nice. I inquired about their pumpkins outside and the manager was kind enough to offer me cart to see more selection inside the store to what I was looking for. Checkout was fast and easy and the man bagging my purchases chatted with me about my plans for the pumpkins I chose and genuinely asked me to come back sometime to tell him how it turned out with a possible photo.They all wished a good night to me as I left, too.Its this kind of genuine, rare service in a grocery store about to close that I will actually go out of my way to shop here again. I cannot express enough how pleasant my experience was here thanks to the outstanding employees who obviously care about their job and their customers.The parking lot was also clean and I felt safe, despite the areas change in recent years with increasing litter, as well as a spike in the homeless population. The area may seem sketchy, but I find most people here are kind and mind their own business.

This is my neighborhood location, and I rarely go to Safeway, but when y do, this location has the best selection of what I buy, and the staff are friendly and helpful.

Honda of Seattle is a great Honda dealership have been going there since they were in upper North Central Downtown Seattle service is always great weather looking to buy a car or buying parts for my Hondas that I have owned. Decent Safeway store with a gas station. I stop by for gas and lunch occasionally. The Starbucks here makes the best iced coffees. Kristoffer however isnt a team player. I appreciate the coffee he made but Starbucks kiosks are not limited to coffee purchases. It bothered him that I bought two items separate from my coffee and he let me know it. Customer service is easy, just be nice but he failed at this task. Well try again another time

The in-stocks seem to be getting gradually worse at this location. I cant necessarily blame the the store since there is so much going on right now but, it does start to grate after a while. But the people are nice and the service centers are always efficient.

They are very judgemental workers you go in with a little bit of dirt from working all day they immediately judge you and think youre trying to steal stuff so they follow you around. Almost every worker that Ive had an encounter with has been rude and very discriminatory towards me and they are like that with most people

The bathroom reeked of urine and the mop buckets were filthy. They were the first things I came across within a few minutes if entering the store, hopefully its not a reflection of anything more.

There pharmacy and people that work in the pharmacy are great. Wish I didnt need to see them as often but thats my health not there great service!

Let me tell you the story or a brave young woman, Id even call her a hero. So I stop by Safeway to use the bathroom, but I feel as though I am taking advantage of the building in someway by only doing so, so I go get a energy drink. Go though self check out, its a normal experience, a lovely day. I see that my friend is also out of the bathroom and confused as to where I have gone so I walk over to great them and head out. This is when we get to meet our storys hero. While walking out a friendly barista shouts to me Are you going to pay for that, and I smile no one could see because of the mask. I attempt to explain that I have but they appear not to care for my words. I truly appreciate when a stranger courageously accuses me of theft of a two dollar item. I hope they keep up the good work, and maybe one day there will actually be someone stealing and they will have provided the company the priceless service of not losing 2 dollars...

I love this store! There is something good in every shelf. There are lots of hard to find international foods. They have a great selection of European butters.

There is a reason I will continue to go to the other stores around the area & pay more. Lady at the deli had her mask around her neck, so I steered clear of there and bought pre-packaged cheese. I kindly asked the Guest Services about their mask policy, especially at the deli, and was told by a lady (with her bandana also around her neck) that “We only highly recommend masks, but it’s not mandatory”.......I understand some medical reasons, but maybe don’t have those individuals directly serving clients in close quarters or helping with food unmasked. With this location being so close I wish I could go there, but they continue to drop the ball.

This is one of my favorite Safeways. Reddmond, the very tall manager you see most often on the late afternoon/night shift (whom I previously incorrectly referred to as Jeff, the stores director) is very good at his job and while he is often harried and forced to be a lieutenant or commander of sorts dealing with new shoplifters and repeat offenders alike on a ridiculously regular basis (Ive witnessed said encounters on multiple occasions, at least 10 different times), he isnt mean-spirited or totally dismissive which are traits Ive seen in many grocery store employees in the area. The pharmacy staff is one of the better ones, theyll fill your asthma inhaler pretty quick if you let them know its an emergency and sometimes even ring up your very few grocery items even though they are no longer required to do so and will stop what theyre doing to come around and help you find the vitamins youre looking for but cannot seem to locate. :-)The only cause for complaint is that lately they have been out of half gallon whole milk pretty frequently (3 or 4 different times) and the public bathroom cleanliness is not well maintained and on several occasions have cleaned it myself (OCD tendencies are mostly to blame). But, all in all, I heart this Safeway.

I love that this place has a public restroom! I think every other store has stopped making their restrooms available to the public for whatever reason, and that is really just unacceptable in my opinion. So, I appreciate that very much. The selection here isnt what I would expect considering the area in which it is located. The service is sometimes a bit slow and it can be tough to get out of there without waiting in line for sometime. The people that work at night always make me feel as if Im in the way, as if Im just an annoyance they have to deal with. But, thanks for the restrooms!

Low quality food, poor selection and even worse staff. I have put up with these issues for months now because this store is close to my house.My wife and I have spent around $300 a week here since the start of the stay home order.That will no longer happen and I will be sure to tell all of my friends and family to avoid this store at all cost.The staff here is consistently rude for no reason.The selection is poor and when they do have product it is terrible. I bought six pounds of chicken the other day that was labeled as packed the day I purchased it and when I went to use it the next day it was already bad.I cook professionally for a living and the quality of food sold in this store is sub par and would never be served at my work.To make matters worse 90% of the staff is terrible.I have met two nice cashiers, go older gentleman.Today is the final straw though.I waited for several minutes at the customer service desk while the lady( Mimi) helped the man in front of me. After he was finished I stepped up to the counter said hello and asked for a lottery ticket.Without saying a word she just looked at me and started to walk away.I said excuse me can I please have a lottery ticket, to which Mimi replied “I heard you already!”then promptly walked away.I understand if you have an emergency or have to step away for a second but let your customer know.To to tell a customer “I heard you!” and then just walk away is uncalled for and terrible business.I told the older curly haired lady watching the self check out section what just happened and she simply said “Oh” and turned around and started to ignore me.If any one of the people working with my treated a customer the way my wife and I have been treated at this store, they would no longer have a job.I will tell everyone I know to stay away from this store. I will happily take mine and my family’s business elsewhere.
