Pros:Somewhat organized by section. If you try on an item, signage requests that you bring it to a worker for sanitization. This is great for cleanliness!Huge clearance section. To improve:People can walk into the jewelry display cases because they stay open and aren’t laid out in a way that promotes safety.Customer service was hit and miss or so-so.

Fireworks is a store where they have something for everybody. And they have plenty of stuff for all ages, funny things, useful things, not useful things, everything is pretty reasonably priced and they even have some homemade jewelry and other items from locals.

Very cute and quirky store! Would definitely recommend! It is very progressive as well, it was a very safe feeling environment. Kudos to the lady who greeted us, and employees- very sweet and reinforced putting on hand sanitizer before entering due to the current pandemic. Whatre you still reading for- check it out!

I’d rate this zero stars, if that was an option. It floors me how incredibly rude their “customer service” is. Absolutely will never visit this location again. I don’t see this place lasting long.

Fun little shop for quirky gifts & souvenirs.I was disappointed to find many of the items (such as socks) displaying the f-word, not far from the kid stuff. I felt uncomfortable having my kids with me in there seeing those words boldly displayed. We picked up some tiny hands (finger puppets) that are still a total hit with every family member. They have a fun selection of masks (even pug & sloth masks).

Make sure to check the expiration date of the edible goods before buying. They sell expired food on reduced price knowingly and won’t accept returns because all sales are final and the items are on sell because they are expired.

I tried to visit Firework at University Village today and had a horrible experience. My sister and I were chased out of the shop by two employees because they were at capacity, but no one was at the door, so how would we have known? Then they demanded we use hand sanitizer with 75% alcohol content (CDC recommends 60%) or I had to wear latex gloves. I have extremely sensitive skin and a latex allergy, so I decided to just leave. Because this isnt a common requirement, I just bring my own hand soap and not sanitizer. The option to wash my hands in the close restroom was not acceptable. Im all for masks and social distancing, but requiring me to put harsh chemicals on my hands to shop is not appropriate. Especially because the southcenter mall location does not have this foolish rule.

Unbelievably rude and arrogant customer service. This is the second time I’ve attempted to shop at this location, and will not be back. Learn how to treat your patrons or you won’t be around for much longer.

Can’t believe this store. Rude staff, and why is the whole store left-leaning propaganda items? Disgusted by this store.

I love this store so much. Its one of my favorites things to look in. Its expensive but the things there are so wacky. If you could bring the prices down that would be great for gift giving. Im assuming your target audience is mature teens/adults so maybe accommodate the prices for their budget just a little. Thanks for the fun!

I’ve always enjoyed browsing and picking up various gifts from Fireworks, and there are multiple locations where I’ve had very positive experiences. Unfortunately the last time I stepped in at this location I noticed an employee following me closely and watching me the entire time I shopped. I’m not sure what warranted this attention - maybe because I was taking my time to peruse the store? or because I was using a reusable shopping bag to hold my personal items, and reached in a couple of times to retrieve my water bottle? Surely there are better ways for loss prevention than to stalk a customer so closely. It really dampened my shopping experience to be singled out among all the shoppers and be treated with suspicion!

Fireworks is one of the best places to shop for gifts. They have a nice positive spin, with lots of mid-priced jewelry, housewares and decor, novelty/gag gifts, Judaica, etc. Good cards too. You can pretty much count on finding something for anyone that you need a gift for, maybe skewed a little bit more to typical gifts for women than for men.

Plan to spend some time as you stroll through the aisles of fun and quirky one-of-a-kind items. Great greeting cards and cute little items for kids. Everything from jewelry the pot holders and purses made from seatbelts. This place is great for gift-giving. In fact give yourself a gift and buy something to keep for you.

Context: I am a wheelchair user, and I have autism.I recently visited your store after grocery shopping at QFC. I had several bags with me/on my wheelchair because I had been grocery and Christmas shopping and getting ideas for Christmas shopping. I had a grocery bag on my lap because there was no more space on my chair. I had picked up several items and set them on top because I hadnt chosen which thing to get for my best friend for Christmas. After being in the store for about 20 minutes, collecting items as I went, considering Christmas gifts and the people I was shopping for.An older woman with shorter dark hair, dressed in plain clothes approached me and told me that I needed to give her the items to put at the register in a very rude manner, which led me to believe that I was being accused to shoplifting or that they thought I was a vagrant because of the stuff on my chair. I told her that I hadnt decided, and she again insisted that I needed to give it over. It was made clear that I was unwelcome. I handed her the items instead of arguing and left the store immediately because what had happened triggered a panic attack and I had to leave.I like Fireworks because its full of cute things that make me feel happy, so its a good place for me to go when Im feeling stressed, even if my wheelchair doesnt always fit between the aisle, but I no longer feel safe shopping at the store any more because of this interaction.

Terrible place full of arrogant people. I would give them no stars if possible. My friend worked there as a temp and they let him go on basically the very last day they could despite many inquiries as to whether theyd still have there job after the temporary period expired. Fireworks can keep there cheaply made overpriced crap and hopefully go out of business. Fingers crossed!
