I let my five year old Seiko solar-powered watch sit unused and unpowered for two years. Finally I decided it was too nice for that and I took it too Ben Bridge to see if they could bring it back to life. I had taken watches there for years with uniformly excellent results. In spite of the usual COVID-19 difficulties and the ongoing renovation of the Ben Bridge space in downtown Seattle, in a few days they restored my watch to run perfectly. My husband and I went shopping at Ben Bridge to replace my lost engagement ring. We walked in, were immediately greeted by Dan, and spent the next two hours learning all about diamonds and settings. Dan was incredibly knowledgeable and patient. I tried on lots of different live rings, some zirconium, and he even put diamonds into a make-shift Solitaire setting for me to choose among all the different ones. I ended up with a gorgeous ring that I will cherish for the next 30 years!

The current address is a temporary location in the former Brooks Brothers as they build out a new location nearby. And while it may not look as nice, Ben Bridge still delivers a great selection and service to match. I have purchased two watches from their downtown Seattle location - an Omega Speedmaster when they still carried Omega and a Grand Seiko GMT more recently. Both experiences were great - definitely one that is more informational and consultative rather than high pressure sales tactic. I can only speak to watches (and not jewelry) but the selection is excellent - everything from solid value brands like Hamilton and Tissot to high end brands like Rolex, Grand Seiko, Breitling, Panerai, etc. For the Grand Seiko purchase, I worked with David, and he was great in explaining the various movements and differences within the Grand Seiko line. Definitely a great place to shop for watches unless you are looking for an Apple watch :).

I walked in to browse the selection at the store not expecting to make a purchase due to uncertainty on which model of watch would best suit me. Dan Johnston personally spent about an hour asking me about my price range, what I was looking for in a watch, etc. At the end of that hour I made a decision and felt great about it. Dan treated me like a customer of his own and really gave me an incredible experience here. I would not hesitate to recommend Dan to anyone that is looking for a watch to purchase.

Although it took a bit of waiting to get the Explorer II in, Dan made it a worthwhile wait by keeping tabs with me until one was available.Dont risk it by going into the aftermarket or going to some online dealer for a watch of this caliber. I stopped in here to ask about some jewelry I had. It was an altogether demeaning experience and I wont be going back.I asked the salesperson if they did appraisals. She replied in a condescending way that they only did that if the jewelry was valuable enough.I showed her the pieces, which were more than valuable enough to appraise.I asked if they offered resizing services. She got defensive and let me know that they are not liable for any damage they might cause my very valuable jewelry during resizing.I felt equally dismissed by them for my items being first too cheap and then too expensive. Go elsewhere.

I stop in here every so often and they are pretty nice to your face, however I think they all get paid on commission and will straight up lie to you. I was in here awhile ago and bought a hamilton khaki handwind. The guy that helped me was Mark, he couldnt find the box for the watch and offered me a $5 discount. That in my opinion, for missing a box, is pretty unreasonable. Especially when you can buy the same watch much cheaper online from a grey market dealer, or slightly cheaper online from an AD, but you get the box. I wanted the watch though so I did end up buying it without the box. A year later I went in and dealt with Mark again. I dont know if it was the same Mark or not, but it was a guy named Mark. He told me the watch I wanted was being ordered and should be in by the end of the week. I went in at the end of the week, wasnt in yet. I went in 2 weeks later, still nothing. He had my phone and email address, never followed up. I ended up buying the Grand Seiko I wanted online instead. Last week I went in and talked to someone else. I dont remember his name but he was better than Mark. He showed me some watches and really talked up the most expensive one, going on and on about how great it looked. It just felt cheesy to me and I ended up leaving without buying anything, again. I dont think I will ever end up buying a watch from here again. I feel like I always give them another chance, but they always seem slimy to me.

I love BEN BRIDGE!! While recently visiting this wonderful establishment, to have my ring repaired, I remembered when I use to come here with my dad, to pick out or even have Mr. Herb design rings for my dad for my mom. The atmosphere is bigger, but its still VERY FRIENDLY. My salesperson Mike was absolutely AMAZING. He took care of me, the same way the BRIDGES MEN took care of my father and mother. My husband and I went into the Downtown Seattle Ben Bridge Jeweler to get a ring sized and a new battery for a watch. We worked with Michael and he was so nice and knowledgeable about all of the jewelry. He indulged me as I tried on different rings. I ended up upgrading after learning I could get full credit for the ring I had purchased there towards a new ring. The store was clean and everyone there was very friendly.

He was very helpful and thorough, but did not come across as a salesman.
