Found this gem while exploring the neighborhood. What a delight!! Donuts were still fresh late in the day. Perfect size to share or splurge and they have donut holes!! Sometimes you only want a nibble. Donuts were so light, fluffy and melt in your mouth. Filled donuts are actually filled. Apple fritters have actual apple. I would have shown you the donuts holes but I ate them.

The best Thai food in Seattle, even with such a limited menu. The donuts, Im told, were fresh and delicious. Customer service was too notch. My only complaint was the customer there beatboxing while spinning around, with her mask sitting under her chin. No one said anything to her, so I left and called the employee at the desk to bring it out for me.

LOVE THEIR DONUTS!!! I drive from West Seattle several times each month...the blueberry cake donuts are a real treat, my neighbors (I share) really like the maple bars and apple fritters but my favorite is the sugared raised. If I time it just right, the raised donuts are still warm and literally melt in your mouth. YUM!

Came in at 8am to get some donuts to satisfy my cravings. This is my first time coming to this shop, and I’m not disappointed. These donuts are soft and fluffy, and $8 for half a dozen of their small mix! The cashier was also very friendly.

I googled “chicken teriyaki” and this restaurant’s google business page said they indeed offered it. I went in and was told they no longer offer any food. Donuts were alright but a bit disappointed they couldn’t update their advertising. As of writing this review they still haven’t updated it.edit- 2 weeks have passed and they have still not edited their google business page.

Exceptionally good donuts, best in Seattle for sure. Some of the only in the area that really meet the soft raised donut expectation Ive been looking for in a donut shop, and having tried places from Northlake all the way to Tacoma, I am finally certain this is the place to go. Havent tried the Thai food, but I expect that I will at some point since I keep ending up going back there. Staff are friendly and helpful.

Excellent donuts. Had a nice conversation with the fella working. Owners son I think? Not close to where I live. But if I’m in the area again one morning I would definitely stop by for a sweet snack.Also donuts seemed to be made in house. Not that frozen garbage most donut shops these days reheat, frost, then serve.

King donut Teriyaki Laundromat was one of the first places my partner and I visited when we moved to the Seattle area. We stopped in to get some breakfast, living in an Airbnb and were immediately greeted and had some great food. We returned many times and started making it with a nice hangout spot and definitely one of the most unique places to be. They have BOMB teriyaki and donuts and their laundromat has saved us a few times when the apartment laundromat failed. Its a real place, a real awesome place.

Have driven by this place for years and FINALLY stopped and picked up half a dozen doughnuts this morning. WOW. I cant believe weve been missing out on this place for so long!The donuts were fresh and had incredible flavor (not just SWEET as they are at so many places). The owners were super friendly and patient as I asked a ton of questions about the different varieties.I might have to go back tonight to try their teriyaki chicken too! :)

Hands down the greatest Thai food (heck, food in general) in the greater Seattle area. The donuts are amazing too!

The customer service is a little better but the supply is abysmal. They really need to to get it together how much to make in the morning. Twice I have came down at 8am and they were already out of everything I needed. I asked if they are making more, she looked almost shocked. I told her there is no point me coming down here if they are sold out in an hour. She said they will make me some apple fritters. After 10 minutes, I asked if they were still making my order. The guy just said yeah and continued ignoring me. I nicely asked for my money back and left. They may need to hire a business consultant or something. Im not coming back until they get it together.

I dont think I could like this place more. I recently had to wash all of my belongings because of mold in our house. I spent a lot of time at Kings that day. The family that runs it is kind and its cool to talk story with them. There are regulars that hang out there and I loved my pad see ew. The donuts are retro and delicious. So many places are over fancifying donuts and its getting out of hand. $6 for a donut with cardamom...meh. Kings donuts has all my favorites and at less than half the cost. Where else can you have lunch. Take home some donuts for dessert and get some chores done, all while chatting with awesome people. This place is a cornerstone of the community.

I would post a picture, but it would be of a mostly empty box as the donuts were too good and were eaten too fast! I also ordered chicken fried rice, which was very yummy and a huge portion. Definitely recommend people support this business!

Donuts were light, fluffy and delicious. The selection of donuts was a bit on the smaller side (no French Crullers, old fashioned styles, etc). The jelly filled donuts were great, the jam used plenty of flavor and not too sweet.

Great local doughnuts, teriyaki, and laundry. I havent tried the teriyaki or done laundry here but the doughnuts are top notch. I love the french crullers and havent been able to find similar in the seattle area. The owners are super friendly as well. This is such a great place it is a must if you are in the area looking for some sugar.

We drive 27 miles from Vashon Island to get Travis heavenly fresh-made donuts - Travis is hardworking and personable! His mother makes delicious vegetable chow mein noodles topped with lots of roasted garlic. Hard decision: donut before or after the noodles? HAD to bring a dozen for our neighbors!

Very bad experience. The first time I went was good but the second time around the doughnuts were moldy. I did not realize until my 2 year old already had some. It’s very unfortunate when businesses try to profit using expired projects. I know times hard hard right now but it’s extremely important to do what is right no matter what. I try to support small businesses in my community but experiences like this is what makes people avoid them.

My timing was perfect today. Warm glazed and twists had just arrived on the display case, around 8am. My only concern is the pricing. Can an individual donut really cost $2.50?

First came here for donuts, now I do my laundry here as well. Family run and they make the best donuts in the city. Get in early on the weekend for fresh-out-the-fryer donuts and unpretentious coffee. A community gem, and a safe gathering place for the elders this side of town.Are you a rich person? My first time using the laundry. I loaded my clothes and I was trying to make the washer was secure. This asian guy out of the blue started to say not to pull on his washer it might break. My point is this guy could have been a little respectful rather than being rude. I tried explain to him but that guy is rude. Not coming back in this place

Awesome little donut shop...in the wrong place. Sorry, just being honest. I had to convince myself to actually stop and park at this location. Its the definition of sketchy as far as Im concerned.Other than that, excellent donuts and great service. Inexpensive at that. So Im glad I did take that chance.Parking is free (again the aforementioned caveat about location).

Bought two dozen donuts this morning and took them to work. The donuts were so stale that no one ate them. How embarrassing. A few ended up getting tossed to the birds and the rest were thrown out. Called to let the manager know and she said that I had to bring them back. Seriously?? She didnt even care. Spent 24 dollars and would have been better off going to Safeway. Would have spent half that and gotten better donuts. Will not be back and you should stay away as well.

Been here several times. Love this place. Food is so yummy with very reasonable price. Lunch specials are around 6-7 dollars yet come with tons of food. The people care about their customers and remember what they want.

Good when they actually have doughnuts. But they have a very limited selection and arent the best if you are just walking in. Especially first thing in the morning. You better call ahead if you need/want something.

King Donuts is back! They still had a reasonable selection of doughnuts when we got there after 1pm. My old-fashioned had the right combination of tenderness and that top crunch. My daughters chocolate bar was enormous, but the glaze hadnt set. We really wanted some milk!Ill be back for lunch items.

I love Kings Donuts. Loved the old owners. Love the new owners. They are really sweet and community oriented. The portions are huge. The service is great. I gave 4 stars because I am not sure if they have a policy on phone orders but when I phone in my order, expecting it to be ready in the given time and not started when I walk in to pick it up, its never ready in that given time. This has had to have happened at least 5 times in the last year or so that I call in an order on my lunch break to pick it up and have to wait for them to cook it when I get there, making me either later for work or not giving me enough time to eat. If I wanted my food made when I got there, I wouldnt bother calling in a phone order. Besides that, I really enjoy these people. I didnt want to say anything bad because they have become like friends, but my reviews are all honest and as detailed as possible. I always order the shrimp fried rice (in the picture attached, I ate all the shrimp before taking the pic)Oh yeah, that reminds me... Seattle passed this new law about garbage compost and containers being compostable. Well, the new containers suck. The owners knows this, they hate that they have to serve out of these new containiers because they are so flimsy, but it is new law. Id rather the plastic containers, that doesnt fall apart before you make it home if your food is too hot and fresh.
