A must stop when we are in the area. Fresh and great tasty mini donuts.Dont worry about the long lines, very fast and friendly service. Its fun and entertaining to watch the little donut machine making the mini donuts. We always get a combo dozen and eat it right there. They have a tiny eating area by the cashier. I like the powder donuts the most.
Fun little spot to grab some absolutely delicious mini donuts. I ordered a half dozen assorted and got cinnamon sugar, chocolate frosted sprinkle and maple glaze (half of which didnt even make it into the picture) Good for a quick bite and will definitely satisfy all your deepest donut based cravings.
Stumbled upon these delicious mini-donuts when I was walking around the marketplace, and am so glad I did. They were hot, fresh, and the perfect thing to eat while walking around on a rainy Seattle morning. I got a combination of cinnamon sugar, powdered sugar and maple donuts and let me tell you, there is nothing like a warm, maple bite-sized donut.
Came here on a whim while walking around pike place market, and we got a dozen plain ones. The first one I had was piping hot which made it amazing, the other ones weren’t as piping hot but were warm. Chewy and pretty flavorful even without any toppings! There were at 15 in the bag, $6 which is definitely pricey. Good though!
Who doesn’t love fresh fired doughnuts?!? This place has a great friendly staff. Be sure to get here early enough so you don’t get stuck in a line. Don’t forget to stop by Ghost Alley Espresso and get the coffee to accompany these delicious dessert.
Youll probably smell Daily Dozen Doughnuts before you see it. Your eyes will dart around looking for the source of that wonderful scent. Then youll see the tower of donuts, fresh from the fryer and sprinkled with sugar or cinnamon. And as the words, I want that begin to form in your mouth, youll catch sight of the crowd in front of the stand, and the line stretching down the corridor, and your heart will drop just a little bit as you realize that you have to wait. Or will you come back later? As you try to solve this dilemma, you move closer and discover the fryer cranking out fresh donuts. Then you see them dumped into bags and sprinkled with toppings all the while customers scurry to pay and make a quick escape. And you still have a decision to make. And this is what makes Daily Dozen Doughnut a Seattle treasure. It isnt just because they cook up delicious nuggets of sweet, fried dough. Its the experience, the discovery, and the fun of trying something local, made fresh from scratch and enjoyed as you wander through Seattles living room at Pike Place Market. Will these be the best donuts youve ever had? Maybe not. Everyone has their favorite and these may not be yours. But there is no question that Daily Dozen is doing something right and that its worth your time to give em a try. You might not love it, but many many people do and hopefully youll be one of them, or at least appreciate the effort. My recommendation is to get em while theyre hot. Which means standing in line. Because this place stops the cooker in the afternoon before they close, in order to sell out anything thats still around. At which point youre getting something good, but a couple hours old. Just my preference of course. But FYI.
When youre in a touristy place you frequently have to set your expectations accordingly - but that is NOT the case here. These donuts are perfectly made, perfectly dressed, and ridiculously delicious. Crispy on the outside, soft and perfect on the inside. Not too sweet. Not at all dry. Perfection. The people working there are also super nice and sometimes toss in an extra or two. Im so happy to add them to my breakfast/snack rotation downtown!
Long line, worth the wait. The cinnamon mini doughnuts melt in your mouth.
Donut holes! Will bring joy and terrific taste that will leave you wanting more! Order a dozen assorted (cinnamon sugar, icing powder, and chocolate dip with sprinkles) and also some maple bacon dip donuts. Unbelievably soft, fresh and tasty. We really enjoyed the maple bacon donuts. I was planning on bringing some back to the office but none survived the trip. We got there earlier in the morning to avoid a long queue, around 10:30am otherwise be prepared to wait. Also they dont accept credit cards, cash only. Theres an ATM near the entrance of the market. Friendly service. Interesting to watch the donuts being made while you wait in line. Definitely recommend trying the donut holes at Daily Dozen!!! Amazing :)
I wish I would of been able to try these! It’s in a prefect location it’s right above the gum wall within the market. They close if they sell out. We got there around 2pm and she was closing up shop. So if you want these (which I hear they are amazing) make sure you go there first!
If you get these right out of the fryer 🤤 you die and go to heaven for a second! My top picks were the maple glazed and cinnamon sugar. These are the perfect 2 bite donuts!
Ummm these little maple iced donuts were so good I went back for more. I don’t love donuts. I am not one of those people that can’t resist them. But that’s not the case with these little buggers. Fresh and delicious. I am normally not a maple icing lover either, but wow they were so good. This will be a must stop for me every time I visit Seattle. 🍩
Best cinnamon doughnuts in the world!😍
A huge line attracted my attention in the market. In general I’m indifferent to doughnuts but these cute plain (powdered, cinnamon, sprinkles, maple glaze were also available) mini doughnuts looked so amazing. Fresh & hot, directly from the fryer. So after a dozen was finished in a few minutes I wished we had a chance to stop by that kiosk again and again during our visit in Seattle.
These were some of the best doughnuts I’ve had in a long time. I’d definitely go back.
Vegan doughnut selection on Thursdays and Sundays, so delicious and incredible! Every time we go here there’s a line around the store, but they are worth waiting for. I hope one day they’ll commit to a vegan selection everyday.
Cinnamon and sugar donuts are delicious. My absolute favorite. But it really sucks when you make a stop just to get the donuts (after paying for parking) just to find out theyre closed. This was at ~1pm on a Tuesday afternoon. Try to keep a schedule please.
Yum! We stop here any time we are in town. Fresh and delicious! Copious amount of toppings of your choice. Our go to is cinnamon sugar. They are served piping hot in a brown bag. They pour the toppings straight into the bag, add fresh donuts, and voila! You can continue to shake the bag as you go so you have plenty of coverage as you eat!
I will be back for sure, the freshness and flavor puts commercial doughnuts to shame. I can also say that they live up to their title with that warm vibe you get when walking away, you truly do feel better about making the stop and you know your going to have a Good day so way to go guys!
Picked up a couple dozen this morning. They were crispy on the outside and airy/chewy in the middle. The maple was great! Great size to share with kids who never seam to eat a whole donut by themselves. They are accepting cash or card right now.
Nothing real special here but convenient I guess if you’re in the market in the morning and are craving something on the sweeter side. Probs won’t be back
Coffee is disappointing. Doughnuts are decent, others are better though. These are really only special for being small.
Too delicious to get a picture! We ordered the cinnamon and maple donuts. Both were great!
Loved the cinnamon sugar donuts!
I don’t believe a establishment should be guilt tripping people into having to leave a tip. These people have a tip jar on the desk that says God knows when you don’t tip. Wrong on so many levels
It was so tasty. I will be bringing friends next time. This place has a cool atmosphere.
Cool location to meet with coworkers. I look forward to going back again.
Powdered donuts were my favorite, although they were all great. Even the plain ones were very good on their own. Powdered ones definitely are messy though, so grab some napkins.
I love these fun little donuts! As expected, theyre not as good towards the end of the day (I wish I could have been there in the morning!!) but theyre a great snack as you walk about the pike place market. Its a staple, so I would definitely grab yourself a big bucket whenever youre in town!
Not sure what the big deal is about standing in a (usually) long line to get average donuts. The fun must be in watching the donuts be made right in front of you. The woman behind the counter was not even remotely nice. The donuts were tossed into the same bag and ended up kind of tasting the same. I wouldnt recommend them and wont go back.
A wide variety of delicious donuts. Dark chocolate coconut was a stand out. The strawberry was my husbands favorite.
Oh My!!Had the glazed donut.. don’t get it!! You will have to go back for another!! Also got the chocolate covered donut.. wow!!
Daily Dozen Doughnut serves donut holes by the half dozen & dozen. They are soft, warm, and pretty tasty. They are great for sharing with friends. My friend and I shared a half dozen of the following flavors: plain, powdered, cinnamon, maple, and maple bacon. I personally enjoyed the plain and cinnamon the most. Moist and not too soggy with the right level of sweetness. Our powdered donuts were a bit cold though...I definitely prefer a regular donut over these donut holes. Not bad, but not amazing. I recommend it to anyone who wants an easily shareable dessert while wandering Pike Place Market.
Went here one time last year; I waited in a long line to get a cold bag of donuts no better than ones youd find at a fairgrounds at twice the cost. Maybe it was an off day.
$5.50 for six little one-bite donuts.. after walking off I realized half of them were cold, and not something I enjoyed. Warm ones were good... So ended up paying 5 bucks for 3 tiny donuts logically! Cash-only rule here for a reason, so if ur not happy than oh well
Absolutely love this place. Definitely not on my diet plan BUT.... Well worth the extra calories. We all have our favorites. My favorite are the plain but hot and fresh.
Great place to relax, people watch, eat good food or all the above. i had a cousin come into town and asked me to take him back here. prices are appropriate for the quality.
Im a local and am close to both Top Pot and Mighty-O Donuts, but neither of them come close to Daily Dozen. I find myself craving them every once in a while and will find an excuse to walk over to the market just to get a half-dozen. Their maple-coated ones are the best, in my opinion! Their shop is set up right around the corner from the famous fish market and almost always has a line, but it moves quickly. Their stand is set up such that you can see the donuts being made, which is a great touch. Its $6 for a half-dozen maple-glazed little donuts. Daily Dozen is the best of the best
Lets be honest, Daily Dozen Donut Co is one of the best kept secrets of Pike Place Market. It may be tucked away in a semi-secluded back corner, but you should be able to follow your nose straight to the delicious smell of friend dough that consistently emanates from this stand. The doughnuts are perfectly sized where you can feel comfortable popping an entire one into your mouth. I prefer them plain, but you can elect to add cinnamon or powdered sugar if thats your thing.Long story short, if your visiting Pike Place you should absolutely stop here. Cheap, delicious, and always worth another stop.
Simply delish. Added bonus: vegan. Very handsome donuthole handlers this side of Mississippi. Marry me, bespectacled wild sparrow!
Great donuts. Too bad the line is always long. Not to mention that the market is usually packed.
Yummy fresh mini donuts right in the heart of Pike Place Market. You can watch the mini donuts being pumped out and flipped in the oil. I enjoyed getting the 1/2 dozen assorted so I could try out the different flavors, the powered one was my favorite though. The donuts were warm and crispy and just good. Its cash only so make sure you bring some.
Cinnamon sugar dusted donuts were delicious (day that fast 10 times, ha). We t back for the bacon maple variety. Worth the wait, lines move fast.
Donuts are good when hot. After they cool off, not so special. Suggest you get something other than the the plain. Inexpensive.
Maple bacon donuts!!! YAY!!
Loved the donuts, especially the ones with maple icing, but a bit pricey for the size. Also, the packaging could be better. We got a half dozen for a snack and they were all thrown haphazardly in the bag, with different toppings rubbing off on other donuts. Still, the cashier was friendly and the flavors are good.
I do like this place. Its a pike place market tradition.Simple fast and clever flavor combos. When you order a cinnamon sugar they just put c & s in the bag and shack the plain donuts all up in it!When I asked the clerk how he was he responded with a smile Im dying inside thatll throw ya for a loop ;) Loved him that much more. Nice folks really. Dont be afraid to engage and make their day awesome as much as they do for us.The general line up you can always expect is maple, bacon maple, sugar & cinnamon, plain and powdered sugar. There is usually a special as well.
Seriously meh. Made by a machine in front of you but these are basic donuts. Nothing special at all. My kid summed it up well these kind of taste like tourist donuts
The aroma of fresh doughnuts enticed us to come by this stand. We ordered an assorted half dozen and are fans of the powdered sugar and regular sugared mini-donuts. Service is fast and cash only. Props to the cashier, she gave us extra napkins after noticing we donned black tees and said itll help keep the toppings from getting onto our clothing.
INCREDIBLE doughnut experience. fried right in front of you. served hot. friendly staff. highly recommend the cinnamon sugar!
Damn get it while it is hot and fresh. I can easily do a dozen. Love the maple glazed with crunchy bacon.
I went there early in the morning and ordered half dz assored. The donut was very small and cold. It tasted terrible. The staff were like robot. This place is over rated and I do not recommend this place to anyone who visit the market.
Awesome donuts, and a nice quick bite that isnt quite as packed as the rest of the market. One of.my regular breakfast/snack grabs when Im in the area. Nice and fresh, just bring cash as thats all.they take.
Why on earth are you serving cold donuts? Especially in the morning. This used to be my favorite place to get donuts. Not anymore.
LOVE this donut place! Every time I go to Pikes place I make a stop here for the fresh cinnamon sugar donuts. Cash only but so worth it!!
I do not have a problem with fat...I love it! My girl friend and I are both heavy in at 300+ lbs. one of the reasons is this lovely donut house. You may not be fat yet...but stopping by this place DAILY as you waddle to work will move you up into that pleasantly plump level of Seattlites. There are not many of us...but look out! we are growing larger! These are the best darn donuts by far....get them hot and fresh! every morning at 6 am sharp a new fresh batch and hope to see you there weekly.
I am a fourth generation Seattlite and take my kids to the market on a regular basis. In need, I asked the perveyor for a single napkin (to wipe my childs mouth) and was refused as they were only for customers. I explained to my bewildered kids that this is what Seattle has become and to never patronize this establishment. Speaks for itself.....
Delicious donut bites. Perfect snack to start your morning while exploring Pikes Market.
Heres the deal, if youre in line here, its typically a long wait, so dont be rude.Know what you want before you get up to the register, youve had plenty of time to think about it, honestly. If youre an annoying tourist that cant make up your mind or change your mind part of the way into them getting your order ready yeah, theyre going to be annoyed. Deal with it.These are some of the best mini donuts you can find, and theyre well worth the wait. The staff are just no BS type of people and will not be shy to upset your tourist sensibilities if you have no common sense or are a ditz.Like others have mentioned theyre cash only.
I heard great reviews about this place, so I tried it. Great little sized donuts for a kids snack... although wasnt freshly made at the time we were there.
I was a Portland last weekend and stopped by the Pips Original Doughnut shop. Their mini donuts are good and have some pretty good topping selections. However, I still like these mini donuts here in Seattle Pike Place Market way better. These donuts are airy, tasty and not oily--flat out addicting! All of their offerings are delicious! You cant go wrong. The donuts doesnt have a bitter taste like the Pips donuts do. Mini donuts in general are dangerous b/c you can just pop them in you mouth and you easily eat a dozen all by yourself if youre not paying attention . These donut minies should be illegal! Hahah!
We come here when we are at The Pike Place Market. The doughnuts are always fresh out of the fryer. The cinnamon and sugar donuts are the ones we find irrestable The first bite is a little bit of bliss as the mini donut is hot, a little crunchy and then the cinnamon & sugar melt into that bite. Buy a dozen (you get an extra morsel of mini donut love that way) because then you wont have to wait in line again. There is usually a line but it moves quickly and its fun to watch the machine drop the donuts into the fryer. We scarf them down so fast they dont have a chance to cool down. There arent many foods in the world that makes as happy as these mini donuts do which means they must be exceptional since I am not a fan of donuts.
Ive been coming here for doughnuts whenever Im at Pike Place Market since I was a young kid. I now live in the opposite side of the country but whenever Im in the Seattle area this is one of my first stops! The miniature doughnuts are delicious! While I love all the flavors my personal favorite is the cinnamon sugar since they use hot doughnuts right out of the fryer. I highly recommend stopping by for dessert or a quick snack!
Good and friendly.
Fun little donut place, good staff, and although the donuts arent amazing, getting them hot is a special treat that should not be missed.
Great donuts. Friendliest staff ever. Just came indoors from the gum wall and was feeling grossed out, so their excellent food safety rating caught my eye.
Came here to try a half dozen donuts. My nephew wanted the powdered one and we were served promptly as there was no line. Upon sampling one of the donuts, I might be missing the hype. Not sure if it’s just not my kind of donut, but I can see the novelty in the store as it’s a food snack to walk around with.
The service was great and the line went by super quick. Their donuts are super yummy and fun to eat! The coffee is also great in the morning.
Always got to get a dozen doughnuts anytime I visit Pike Place. Theyre so good and always very friendly.
