These are my kind of donuts! Super light and fluffy with the perfect amount of icing! I often find maple bars don’t have enough maple frosting to dough ratio and this is the first one I have found that does the ratio perfectly! I would recommend getting an assortment and find your favorite!

Stopping into this pastry palace makes it a good day, indeed. Nestled in an unassuming strip of businesses in White Center, this diamond shines as brightly as the sugar crystals emblazoned upon their donuts.Donuts are easily my favorite dessert and I can be quite the critic when it comes to texture, flavor and consistency in product. Good Day knocks it out of the park. I can rest assured that any donut places in that box of joy is sure to bring a smile to my face and create arguments in the household over who are the last fritter.My only critique is that they call them Bavarian Cream instead of Boston Cream, but that’s the masshole in me. 😉

Had very unique food items. To my very American taste. Some items were great and some were okay. If you are into danger/unique dining its definitely a place to check out :-)

I moved to this area a few years ago from the north. I was looking for good donuts in my area and was initially disappointed until I found Good Day! They have the most fluffy, delicious donuts I have ever tasted. I am rare with my good praise but this place deserves more. They are also very conscious about their community, COVID, and global agendas. If you want to talk with your money and still get something amazing, please dont hesitate to go here. They are proud of who they are and again, their donuts are insane! I recommend the sea salt raised donut as a starter. If you go in on Fridays, they have specialty fritters (Please bring back the jalapeno cream cheese!). Enjoy!

First off let me start by how warm the welcome was when I walked through the door. The woman behind the counter asked if I had ever been here before (no I hadnt) and showed plenty of kindness. The doughnuts follow up the great feeling you get after being greeted like family. Every one of their doughnuts are fluffy, delicately soft, and fresh. I will be back for sure, the freshness and flavor puts commercial doughnuts to shame. I can also say that they live up to their title with that warm vibe you get when walking away, you truly do feel better about making the stop and you know your going to have a Good day so way to go guys! I was pretty excited to visit Good Day Donuts on a Sunday afternoon. There was a line of two customers before us so I figured it wouldn’t take long to get some donuts, however, I was wrong. I believe one of the owners was talking to a customer for at least 10 minutes without paying any mind to the fact there were two other customers waiting to order. Ten minutes is not a long time, but she did not even acknowledge my existence or the party before us. I am not opposed to talking to regular customers, however it is good customer service to at least mention to the customers in line that they would be served soon and to apologize for the wait. It was frustrating to hear the first customer dawdle and talk about things not related to ordering food while seeing no sense of urgency by the owner to keep things moving. The owner could have even continued talking to the customer after the line had ended because it was a slower day. Eventually the next customers were placing their orders and who I believe was the other owner appeared. I thought he might get our order ready but he was basically just standing watching the Seahawks game. Only after asking him to bag our orders did he do so. I have heard great things about the owners and how they have really wanted to integrate into White Center. I really want them to prosper. Possibly I have high expectations for customer service, but this situation almost never happens in my experience. All that being said, the donuts are some of the best I have tasted which almost makes them worth the wait. The vegan maple donut, the maple bar, and the regular glazed were all delicious and perfectly fried. I would definitely consider visiting again but will have to be ready for a possible wait.

You know it’s a good sign when they ask you “Only two donuts?” This place is perfect for the classic donuts and the staff behind the counter are very helpful! Each day features a different type of donut too- so it’s worth checking whether you should go on a Saturday or a Sunday.

Fantastic donuts and sandwiches! The old fashioned, apple fritter, and vegan raised were reason enough to go. But the breakfast sandwich on top of it was a great counter to the sweet donuts.

Although the ordering system isnt necessarily intuitive, a quick phone call to Good Day Donuts easily answered all of my questions. Let me tell you, friends, that effort was well worth it. My wife doesnt even like donuts but she loved these! Ive been a vegan for more than a decade and in my experience good vegan donuts are hard to come by - especially if you dont prefer cake donuts. We asked for a variety of vegan donuts, and as I have a cinnamon allergy I was sure to note that and request that all of the donuts be cinnamon free. When we went to pick up our order, the lady who helped us let us know that she packed our order first so that there would not be any cinnamon touching our donuts. There wasnt even a granule of cinnamon sugar on any one of the half dozen donuts we received! And the flavors! These are some of the best donuts I have ever had, let alone vegan. Thank you, thank you, thank you! This is what Ive been missing.

Call ahead. drove from Kirkland, i had a tight time frame. i assumed the vegan doughnuts would be ready by the time i arrived at 8:15 i get there and they tell me that they wont be ready for another hour. i was disappointed to say the least.

Fantastic donuts. The glazed donuts are by far the best I have tasted. Seasalt glazed??!??!🤯The donuts are more substantive than Krispy Kreme and less greasy than other local shops.We all know pot coffee can be a terrible experience, however Good Days was perfectly brewed and had an excellent flavor that complements their donuts!

Vegan doughnut selection on Thursdays and Sundays, so delicious and incredible! Every time we go here there’s a line around the store, but they are worth waiting for. I hope one day they’ll commit to a vegan selection everyday.

Customer service was great and as soon as we walked in we were created and the ordering process was explained to us. The servers were happy to explain all the flavors to us!

We absolutely love good day donuts! Not too sweet. The texture of the donuts is amazing slightly crispy on the outside and so soft, airy and chewy inside!! Always fresh. I personally think they have the best French cruellers and they are only available on Saturdays. They have vegan options and they change up and have some seasonal donuts.The people who own it are good people! They donate local and think about the neighborhood. They have pop up food also.Definitely check them out, we are so happy to have them as our local donut shop!!

Great donuts. However, I was disappointed with the customer service this morning when I called ahead to ask for a dozen random donuts to take to my sons daycare, explaining I had a baby in the car and was trying to save a few minutes by calling while on my way there (which was less than 5 mins away). The gentleman told me no, because “it’s first come, first serve”. I’m a stressed out brand new mom who has had little support over the last year due to covid, I would’ve greatly appreciated just a little compassion from this employee. I still went to pick up donuts, there was one person ahead of me, not crowded by any means. I’ll be back, but a bit of a bummer way to start the day.

Probably worth the trek down to White Center! Lots of standard doughnut varieties with fun twists. And their vegan selection is great! Twice a week they have several vegan options (Sundays for sure). And I think they have one or two most days. We’re not even vegan but we LOVED the vegan pineapple jalapeño fritter! It was so good. Each of the doughnuts we had were very tasty! Crispy glazes and fried outsides. Soft, sweet middles. Nothing too greasy or too decadent. They were just right. My new favorite doughnut spot!

Everything here is good. I mean really good!From the breakfast sandwiches, to the doughnuts and vegan specialties on specific days, to the collaborative pop ups they share with others.Whats not to like? I dont know? Maybe a long cue at some specific times, but who cares? You will still get doughnuts!!!!Do yourself a favor and pre order a breakfast sandwich, then get a box of amazing treats and a cup of coffee. Take it to your favorite park ( many with in 5 min drive ) and just enjoy.I love this place!

Great little small batch donut place.

First off, great donut place. Nice sandwiches for lunch. Wed their Friday night dinner yesterday. Very good food for the price. The roast pork was tender and moist. Salad was nicely tasted. Dressing was not overwhelming. Top it off with a no-bake cheesecake that was hard to resist. Highly recommended. Support your local businesses.

Alison, the (one of possibly) owner, is from Florida originally and her easy friendly demeanor shows it as much as her delicious baking. I saw signs for lunch starting at 11am and she said they plan to do dinner a couple nights a week (Thursday and Friday I do believe. Is there creole food in white centers future??!! *fans self*) they also serve Lopez Island ice cream.As I walked down 16th ave, enjoying what may be one of the last sunny fall days, i offer friendly passerby boiled peanuts, those who accept start confused and leave delighted as I happily point in the direction of the new donut shop (unwilling to share my sweet treats of course. . ) which, from the cinnamon and sugar twist, to the salted maple cake, to the ohmygawd apple fritter to the deliciously perfect glazed, nailed it on every front. Fantastic donuts. Some unique flavors, some only on weekends. The raised glazed is a mouthwatering delight! Very nice staff and a warm, welcoming atmosphere. They also have sandwiches and ice cream, neither of which Ive tried yet. So far I keep coming back for the amazing donuts.

Went here with a friend where we ordered four donuts to share. This place nails it with regard to getting the fundamentals of a classic donut shop right. Never have I had such a soft and moist cake donut that was still wonderfully crisp on the exterior. The buttermilk donut was similarly amazing. I also personally appreciate the smaller size of some of the donuts and think that is really key to achieving the donut textures. The risen dough salted glazed also spectacular. Maybe a hint of lemon? Selection is pretty good for them just having opened. It sounds like cruellers are in the works according to the owner. These were certainly some of the best donuts Ive ever had, as i can really only think of one other (not in Seattle) that is on the same playing field. They also have a small selection of savory lunch items and boiled peanuts. Hopefully will update this review after I try some more things but really wanted to put this review out there now because the owners really deserve to do well with their new business.

I showed up so gloomy for just a quick spot to kill an hour, bought a coffee and I truly felt a great energy around me as the lady help me out and I cannot recall any donut shops that had made me feel this way instantly. this visit was super memorable I will for sure come back here as much as possible

The apple fritters are amazing. A little crispy on the outside, tender moist apple-y on the inside, just the way a fritter should be, but is soooooo hard to find. Awesome job, baker/chef.

I work in the neighborhood and make a daily trip to Good Day to have a donut and I CANNOT SAY ENOUGH GOOD THINGS ABOUT THIS PLACE!!First off the owners and employees here are the kindest! Eric and Alison have established a business that puts a smile on everyone’s face. Sasha is an absolute delight and works so hard. These great people have crafted some truly delicious donuts that are to die for. You have to try the apply fritter, it’s the very best I’ve had. They do lunch as well and our shop has been inspired by the meatball sub, my boss claims it is the best meatball sub in town and we have even named our work truck after the acclaimed sandwich.Seriously, if you’re in the area go treat yourself to classic delicious donuts. They may seem a bit simple in display but it’s all in the “knock your socks off” flavor.

Good Day, Bad Day?The donuts can be amazing, the service can be terrible, so you never quite know what you are going to get. On a Good Day, the salted maple and chocolate on chocolate donuts can send you to heaven. On a Bad Day, they come in late and grouchy and the maple bars are either missing or strangely discolored. It’s possible most of their customers come in the afternoon from the pot shop next door. But at $15 for a dozen small donuts, they should be able to offer more reliable morning service.

I buy these weekly for a group of adults I work with, they say theyre the best donuts theyve ever had. I love them too :)

Omg I love donuts, not cream filled though because I dont like really sweet things.these donuts I love because the texture is so nice and pillow-y!they are not too sweet, made fresh, friendly staff.these look like simple regular donuts ...but they are not! soft crisp on the outside and softness inside...you should definitely try these! I tried one of each and loved them all!I got a dozen... if you get the bigger donuts they will count as 2 donuts. crueller only on weekends. i think thats a great system rather then charging more then the price that is listed for a dozen. so happy to have this place, another donut place yummm! we will be frequently here

The donuts are good, a satisfying crunch to the outside with the tender inside. Here’s the thing: they don’t seem to understand that the case should be filled with every offered option at opening.One time I went in right at opening and maybe. a quarter of the case was full and the customer ahead of me asked “...when will the other choices were going to be available?” Response: when they are done. Ummm, you just opened, the case should be full. That’s donut shop/bakery/cafe 101. At the least: I’m still filling the case what would you like?While it’s nice to have a cool donut shop in White Center, my optimism is low for their survival. I may just stick with Original Bakery on Alki.
