Hands down my favorite cafe in Seattle! I’ve been here countless times and it’s consistently amazing. Highly recommend their Caribbean salad and breakfast burrito. They have good espresso drinks as well. The cafe has both indoor and outdoor seating, also a fun place to grab takeout from and enjoy at Gas Works (a short walk away).
Lets talk about Stone West Cafe...this is an absolute gem. I came while trying out all of the eateries along Stone Way. This has become my go to place when suggesting a great meal to friends, or when I have a craving for a filling meal that will be guaranteed to be bursting with flavor. Their coffee/drink selection is typical for the Seattle area, but not as noteworthy as the food. I highly recommend whatever is on special for the day, as it has never disappointed.
Amazing breakfast cheddar jalapeño biscuit with egg and choice of meat. There was too much food- in the best kind of way. The homefries on the side are delicious- skin on slices that were fluffy on the inside and crispy on the outside. The coffee- oat milk cappuccino for me- was perfectly made and balanced between caffeine and creaminess. All around a great option for a coffee run.
I am a vegetarian and ordered a kale and fried artichoke quesadilla. I discovered that the quesadilla had several pieces of fried chicken. I emailed the cafe to inform them, and received a response stating that they were sure I was wrong and that they did not make a mistake. I am disappointed with the customer service and would not recommend this establishment.
I’ve had their chicken and waffles before with gravy and it was really good so I ordered it again for delivery and got chicken fingers. They were the kind that were the frozen ones you get at movie theaters, only difference is these were more expensive. Not sure what happened but very disappointing.
So happy to be in the same neighborhood as Stone Way Cafe. Grabbed takeout for the first time today (roasted butternut squash and kale tacos). Food was ready earlier than my scheduled pick-up time but was still hot when I made it home. Their entire menu looks fabulous and Im looking forward to trying their breakfast burritos!
Love their breakfast options, even though French toast isnt offered. If your into waffles, youll love the strawberry syrup. Coffee is really good, I always order split shot mocha. Staff very friendly. Give it a try!
Its a decent place to stop by and grab coffee, maybe sit down and work too. They have good wifi. The food is not amazing and it may have a long wait in busy days. Its a good option for a quick and affordable bite.
Delicious and good prices. Such an unrated place to have breakfast. Everything Ive had is delicious - which makes me feel comfortable trying out new items. Love the Cuban sandwich. Best one in the city, and they make delicious potatoes. Great portion sizes.
Best cafe to eat at in Wallingford. The vibe is great and food is better with terrific prices. Recommend to anyone who enjoys cafe comfort food and good coffee.
Simple interior hides an amazing menu full of delicious items. If youve ever walked by this place, the line out the door might not surprise you, but the service is quick enough to make up for it. If you cant wait, then get pick up online or delivery, its well worth it. The breakfast sandwich and burrito are particularly good!
It is always very good. Great place to work always seats available even when it looks crowded on the outside. We also got free coffee after it was closed at 5pm.
Ive been staring at this place on my dog walks, every time we pass by. Finally made the plan to come for coffee and lunch, and Im not disappointed! I was especially excited to get a very generous portion of home fries! The Americano is great too. 👌 Im happy to see the sitting areas open, since I first noticed it when it was closed for Pandemic.I also liked that the cashier lady wasnt shy to compliment my chest tattoo!
The food and coffee was delicious! The salmon tacos especially were *chefs kiss*. I cant wait to go back and try the rest of the menu
Just really good food and coffee.
I got coffee here, it was a super sweet cafe that’s great for meet ups or getting work done
I had a latte and it was good. This place captures Seattles vibe well - curated disheveledness. The staff was friendly. I enjoyed myself and would go back again.
Amazing breakfast burritos and tasty coffee. Love this place so much
Very reasonable prices for breakfast, and really nice options. Ive enjoyed both the breakfast burrito, and the breakfast sandwich with potatoes on the side - ask for a side of the creamy cilantro dressing; its great with the potatoes. The breakfast sandwich (with sausage) and the potatoes were both a little bit greasier than I usually like, but I still thoroughly enjoyed them. Their Cold Brew is delicious, and I like their Latte too. Very cool, chill vibe with gorgeous artwork, and plenty of both indoor and outdoor seating. Special treat: Go Tuesday night for amatuer hour - musicians and comedians take the floor. Highly recommend. 5/5 stars.
If youre just driving by you wouldnt realize this place has great Mexican breakfast food. Enchiladas, huevos rancheros, chilaquiles, and tortas are usually on the menu and taste great.
I ordered the turkey wrap that had multiple large bones inside. I told the woman at the counter but all she said was “oh sorry. I’ll let them know”I was like I cannot eat this, it’s full of bones. Still nothing.I also emailed them with no response.Unfortunately due to the lack of caring I will not be going back again.
A fave for many. Delicious, fresh Mexican fare, coffees and beers. The art in the main room is really incredible too, they do a great job of rotating out new art from local artists.
My son warned me of lines, so I didnt go. It looked good.
Quaint atmosphere for a breakfast spot full of delicious items. They have plenty of options as well as serving coffee and other beverages. My personal favorite is the breakfast burrito with Chorizo. Recommend eating in or picking up to preserve the delicious crunch!
Favorite Cafe in all of Seattle. The food never disappoints and its so worth it! The staff is always really friendly and cool too. Looking forward to the days of patio eating and their event nights again. This place rocks and is always the best spot to hangout with your loved ones.
Great little place for coffee, beers, food in a fun part of town
Atmosphere was great, food was delicious and great portions, mimosas were in point, and the art was inspiring.
I looove this places breakfast sandwiches! They are not stingy with fries and I love them 😋
Popular place, but watch out for excessive wait times on the weekends.
Definitely get the breakfast burrito (chorizo is the best, and yes it will be dripping in fat because, its chorizo). Not too spicy, just perfect. Really great coffee too and service is fantastic.
So good. Everything Ive had here is great, especially the Cajun benedict and the chicken and waffles. Love that I can swing in here on a Saturday morning and grab breakfast and coffee for under $20.
The chicken and waffles was truly as bad if not worse than a Hungry Man microwave meal. This was honestly the driest chicken I’ve ever gotten anywhere in my life. Must have been precooked weeks ago, frozen and then microwaved when they gave it to me. Finished half of it after soaking it in the gravy, which was decent gravy, and couldn’t finish the rest because of how sad i was at the terrible quality and taste. Utterly flavorless. The biscuits were likewise dense dry and required lots of water to get down. Would not recommend.
My favorite cafe in Seattle! Great atmosphere, friendly staff, and the breakfast burrito is out of this world good!
Great to see this place still busy as (and yummy) as ever. My favorite thing to grab is the chai and walk down to Gasworks Park.
Great food. The portion size is more than enough for one person.
Great breakfasts burrito! Really filling and large portions. The space is a very relaxed fast food cafe.
Food is usually great but the ordering process is terrible. During my last experience I waited 15 mins for my order with no results and was told some how my number got skipped. I was apologized to and was told my name would be called. I thought it was weird but they assured me they would call my name. I waited another 10 mins but my name was never called. I realized my old number was being called repeatedly. I asked about the number and realized it was my order being called for the last 5+ mins, despite being told they would call my name. After all that the food was cold. Also I was their with friends but of course all my friends had already finished. I was just over the frustrating experience as I didnt get to enjoy my meal or the company of my friends as spent almost 30+ trying to listen for my order. I followed up with the staff and was offered to have my meal made again but the thought of waiting again for a number to be called was the last thing I wanted. They really need a better system. It will be a while before I go back again. Which is sad because the food is usually delicious.
Got the Rosalias Biscocho but both the fries and biscuit were too dry.
DELISH. You want a bomb breakfast burrito with some solid Victrola coffee (some of Seattles best). Maybe you want a muffuletta straight from the streets of Nawlins with a very good selection of PNW beers. Theyve got you covered. Not to mention the bountiful space for seating. Theyve got plenty of space to setup and get some work done or watch live music...because they ALSO have live music throughout the week. Anything from open mic to local artists. Definitely worth stopping in and checking out.
Love this place! Have gotten so many things off the menu and they never disappoint. Love the space, especially on a sunny day!
Lunch items are awesome. Breakfast items are a little heavy / greasy for my taste but still delicious.
I have lived in Seattle for 31 years and have tried all the breakfast burritos offered in this city. Stone Way Cafe has the absolute BEST veggie breakfast burrito - even if you don’t like veggie burritos, I highly recommend you try this one! It’s the perfect size, with a perfectly crisped tortilla holding the ingredients - veggies, eggs, and French fries. It’s so delicious. Come here and enjoy.
Great food. My go-to: the carnitas tacos!
Love this place. They have my favorite breakfast burrito. Docking two stars because their line is a major annoyance and theyre often understaffed. Even if you ordered online you can expect to wait ten minutes to get to the front to pick up your order, even on a weekday afternoon. Add another ten minutes if they dont call your name when its done, where itll be sitting behind the counter getting cold while the lone barista is both making coffee and taking orders and not noticing online orders being finished. Its been like this for four years and the owners seem to have no interest in improving it. The waffles are great too.
Finally tried Stone Way Cafe this past week after crossing it numerous times over the last year on the way to/from Gas Works Park. They have outside seating, which I assume most people wouldnt mind on a good day. The temp was in the 80s the day we went and preferred sitting inside. The inside seating area seems much bigger due to the high ceilings. Got the grilled veggie sandwich and kale quesadilla. They also had a special of sake cocktail, ordered one in lavender flavor. The drink was really good. The food was pretty decent too. I preferred the quesadilla over the sandwich. Service was quick. Had a good experience overall. Would certainly be coming back, but will try out something different next time.
Great place to work and hang out. Food is tasty, affordable and comes in large portions!
Awesome food and nice, low key vibe. The interior could use some love... but in a way its nice that theyre not trying too hard. Definitely worth a visit!
Great breakfast sandwiches and burritos. Does not disappoint with the price and sides you get. Would heavily recommend anytime youre in the area!
Great burritos ! Fantastic but prepare to wait a long time for your food plan ahead
I stop by almost everyday for coffee/food or just to say hi to staff! The coffee, food, and people remind me of home. Any time someone ask for recommendations on coffee I always suggest stone way. Heads up it does get crowded on the weekends but it is worth it!
I had the breakfast sandwich and my girlfriend had the fried chicken and waffles. The potatoes that came with the sandwich were lightly crispy and soft on the inside - delicious! The gravy for the chicken waffles was also pretty good. We were very satisfied, and will definitely be coming back.
Great food... breakfast sandwich amazing.... breakfast burrito fantastic..go hungry or share its big!!
Amazing food. Fast and friendly. Great little place so close to Divers Institute of Technology.
Great place for quick coffee in the morning
Great breakfast spot, good for dine in or takeout.
I had the sausage bkft sandwich and is not a pattyIts crumble sausage so when I lift the sandwich all the sausage fell from the sandwich. Not cool. Also too much lettuce and the potatoes were burned.
Great breakfast sandwich... and breakfast burrito... will be a fun place to hang out when it opens for dine in
Great staff and really good breakfast burrito and sandwiches, good coffee and very nice art on the walls, prices are high but its seattle so ...blame the tech trash moving into the city
Great coffee, quick service and yummy food! I almost always get the bacon breakfast burrito with an oat milk cortado. Kombucha on tap is always good and so are their specials.
Nice place to hang out and work.
I went here for a concert last night and heres my takeaway:The venue is super small and the acoustics arent the best; acoustic musicians will have a better time here than those who need amps. I liked the aesthetic and it was pleasant to listen to chill music there.I ordered a drip coffee and there was a considerable amount of grinds in my cup.Overall awesome vibe, hopefully the coffee will be less chunky next time.
The BEST breakfast burritos in all of the Seattle area! This place is so atmosphericaly welcoming and has such a wonderful feel to it, not to mention the amazing choices of food and drink. Highly recommend for anyone in the Fremont area!
Yeah, its vegetarian, but you can not even say about the flavor and richness of their dishes. When you choose to eat right, it is new and a very safe choice.
Imagine you’re at home in the living room. This is how Stoneway feels! The cafe is bright and airy with plenty of seats. Locals here love the uniquely-crafted lattes and delicious food options all served with a stellar side salad. With a relaxed living room vibe hosting the best (almost daily!) open mics, SWC is an amazing option. Unfortunately, it will be moving locations next year.
WOW! Get the biscuits and gravy
Its said that if you make it as far at the Pearly Gates, that they hand you one of Stone Way Cafes breakfast sandwiches on the way in. A masterpiece of biblical proportion.
Nice space with outdoor seating. Beer, wine, and cheap/good food. I got the Rosarias Biscocha with chorizo - came out to about $10 after tax. Good sized breakfast biscuit sandwich with lots of potatoes. The chorizo had an interesting spice to it - kind of a cinnamon or chocolate flavor, couldn’t quite place it.
Everything they have on the menu is delicious. I usually get a sandwich or breakfast burrito. Side salads and dressing are really good too.
Its a cafe you can work in, but with real food! There are sandwiches, the Cuban was really tasty. Theres pretty much a full kitchen. And plus, for working in, theres a large loft space with tables and high ceilings and ample space to work with your laptop. Not hard at all to social distance there either.
I wish I could give more than 5 stars, and I have never said that about a business here.Stone Way food and coffee is amazing. The portion sizes are fit for my breakfast and lunch as a maintenance tech a few blocks away. The prices are more than fair for what your getting. Your easily getting two meals worth of delicious food and coffee in any order. The cafe itself is cool as well. Like a hipster loft meets a coffee shop. Nice original hardwood floors give it a cozy setting. If your hungry and want damn good food. Get down here. Or better yet, order ahead and pick it up hot and ready in 15, even during their rush hour.
Impressive variety of tasty food menu items, as well as unique coffee/tea/juice drinks
Wonderful place with fabulous staff.Sandra is experienced enough to make your day with her barista skills.
