Apple fritter 10/10, moist on the inside but still so crisp on the outside. I also tried the apple spiced donut which was dense, but still moist! I love that they have compostable wrappers, along with ethically sourced ingredients AND they’re vegan - which if you did a blind taste test next to any regular donut, you wouldn’t be able to tell a difference.

Amazing that there is something so awesome that is Vegan and Organic, everybody loved them, we got a dozen to try a bunch however the cinnamon apple one was stale and not much apple flavor and the coffee didnt taste like coffee. But other than that wed go get more and share them the sprinkles one was amazing.

VERY tasty, but also expensive. If you want a delicious donut, come here. If you want a donut that’s also reasonably price, don’t come here. The flavors are unique, but not mind bending, which is perfect for just about anyone who wants a good donut. We got the blueberry (soo good), and the French toast (amazing). Really good donuts. Just realize you’ll be spending more for a donut than almost anywhere else, but they are that good.

Donuts are okay, but not worth the price in my opinion. The smores specialty donut that is over $4 is a huge let down. It was a glorified chocolate donut. The graham cracker bits were underwhelming in comparison to the cups worth of sugar in the frosting and donut and no marshmallow at all! Just plain frosting on top?!?! Anyway, these donuts are more dense cakey compared to the light fluffy you get at like a Krispy Kreme that I personally prefer. These also are so sweet and heavy (oil), I cant eat even half of one which is crazy considering how small they are. Just not for me I guess. 3* is mostly for the mask requirement and the contact tracing you can fill out in line.

Are you in the need for a hefty and filling donut? Come here! These donuts are absolutely delicious and filling. Upon walking in you are greeted and treated kindly. Then you get your choice of a wonderful selection based on a base of vanilla or chocolate cake. And to be fair, cake is a better description because they are thick like a cake but light enough that you arent feeling bogged down. The donuts are not overly sweet either which provides in my opinion a better experience overall. I would totally suggest the raspberry riot!! Its absolutely a treat.

I feel bad for this review because I love what Mighty-O is doing in terms of normalizing vegan foods and attempting to make them more accessible to non-vegans. I dont want them to lose business, theyre doing a good thing.Unfortunately Mighty-O Donuts misses the mark. They serve only cake donuts and all the flavors I tried suffer from the same issues. The donuts have a weird consistency and are structurally unstable. The inner part of the donut separates from the outer part, the skin. The taste of the cake itself is just okay, but seems less good due to the structural problems. However, the frosting on every donut I tried was out of this world good. It wasnt enough to compensate for the issues with the donuts themselves but it was SUPER good.Great coffee. The staff was friendly, quick, and helpful.Ultimately theres a lot of room for improvement, and as they improve I have no doubt that Mighty-O will be amazing before too long.In the future, I will go to Mighty-Os every time Im in Seattle. #doughnuttouramerica

Good donuts. I came by at a few minutes to 1 o’clock on a Friday afternoon only to be told they were about to close and got a short tempered woman giving me the stink eye for buying the last of her donuts. The early closure at this location was not listed on their website and she wasn’t polite or courteous at all about the fact that she was pretty much shutting me out the door...Other than that really good donuts, a little expensive, and all their sprinkles contain palm oil… No there isn’t anything such as sustainable palm oil.

The donuts are all plant-based and theres a wide selection every day, and every one I tried was packed full of flavor that somehow managed not to be cloying as most donuts tend to be. No stomach ache from sugar and fat overdose either, even when I had to help finish the leftover ones later.

With due respect to the other local donut shops, these are the best in Seattle. They dont try to do overtly fancy or outrageous donuts, just straightforward cake concoctions, plain or with frosting. All the selections are vegan - I dont know how theyre able to do it, but the owner came up with a recipe that avoided using any animal based products, and you dont notice any difference. The Green Lake store is the first one that opened; they have another store in Ballard. If you have a craving for donuts, whether youre vegan or not, come here. You wont regret it.

Edited august 2021: quality has gone steeply downhill over the past 4 years. They often dont have any yeast raised donuts anymore, even when I go or call early in the morning, and when they do they are overcooked and dry.
