Off the main streets but absolutely on point. My experience at Analog is always pretty good. Their latte is delicious, never disappoints. They carry baked goods from Macrina and Sea Wolf (love them!), as well as breakfast items from b~foods next door. The atmosphere isnt the warmest but its relaxed and unassuming. The crowd, on the other hand, always seems the coolest of all the capitol hill coffee spots.
Phenomenal coffee and tasteful food! The coffee itself is really an experience. A kind of spiritual journey through the rich creamy world of espresso masterfully blended with milks of all kinds, oat, almond, whole. Or a fun experiment with hibiscus and cold brew. The breakfast sandwiches are a culinary masterpiece in the palm of your hand.
Waited over 25 minutes for one egg sandwich and it wasn’t overly busy. Some people waiting on the sidewalk for their food waited even longer. It’s not easy working in the food/beverage industry, but there was no excuse for how incredibly rude the staff was to everyone. I live less than a block from the coffee shop and I won’t ever be back. If you like waiting a half hour for cold food and being treated poorly this place is for you.
Love the coffee and experience. Bought a bag of kuma coffee that was delicious
Good coffee, decent price, friendly staff. No indoor seating as of October 2021
Locals love Analog! The name is completely descriptive- with a turntable sharing vinyl melodies, an assortment of relevant magazines and newspapers clipped to the wall for customers, and graphic novels on a coffee table. All the coffee is fresh and smooth. I recommend the cold brew in the summer! A wonderful place to stay for a few and chat or stop by on your biped commute. Truly a West Capitol Hill staple.
My go to coffee shop in seattle that delivers consistent tasty espresso and coffee drinks. The people are awesome!!
This coffee shop is without a doubt the biggest, and theres a lot more! The coffee shop offers a wide variety of items to fill up the holiday stomach, and the food is delicious for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. All of this is supported by a friendly and supportive team. Since this location was close to our hotel, we were able to take advantage of it often during our stay.
Nice place by melrose place. Quaint n homie style place. Show your face.,, 😁🤩😁🤩
Nothing that great. I was disappointed since it was highly rated and down the street from where I was staying. Not a lot of syrup options just basically vanilla. The atmosphere was quiet with a homeless person outside harassing people to give him change as soon as they stepped outside the shop, but not sure if the employees could tell him to leave or if they just didnt care. Overall coffee was meh, better places around.
Low-key coffee shop in the capitol hill area. Vanilla flavored latte is my go-to. Sometimes they have fresh croissants in the morning.
Its a small local coffee shop with limited options, no artificial sweeteners but decent coffee
Hands down the best coffee I had in Seattle. In my 4.5 days in town, I visited 10 different coffee shops, and Analog was the best. Incredibly flavorful and clean pour-overs, paired with a nice blueberry danish, were a great start to my day. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable, offered good recommendations, and played (mostly) good music to listen to while caffeinating.
Incredible coffee, really cool, minimal vibe inside, with the best music always pumping. Make sure to try B-Side foods next door, minimal breakfast/brunch spot with a few menu choices that are all amaaaazing. Cant recommend highly enough. Still my fave coffee spot after years of living here.
Cappuccino was good, donut was awful. Blond lady even worst than donut(manners and fake kindness) 4 only for cappuccino 👌🏼
My favorite local coffee spot in Cap Hill. Great coffees/drinks, solid pastry selection and friendly vibes. They have also helped introduce me to local beans which I’ve enjoyed making at home
Times change and people too, but unfortunately not always in a good way ... the last two times of my visit to this place the barista in not correct enough showed me where to stand, its funny when in many establishments you can already drink coffee inside and of cups, sorry, but its not quite polite and not in your competence, by the way cappuccino is too hot today, I wish everyone well, because drinking coffee made with hatred is not for me🤗
So good. Order seems to be pretty consistent here and I appreciate that!
Average coffee, only vegan milk option was oat. Nice atmosphere and LGBT friendly!
Visited at eight, it was not full. Looking forward to returning with my friends. It has an awesome atmosphere. Feels similar to a restaurant in Philadelphia that I enjoyed visiting.
Food with real quality ingredients. service is consistently great. bring your hunger - portions are large.
The barista was friendly and knowledgeable. He made wonderful drinks.
Try the hibiscus cold brew soda! Its delicious, but so is everything else on the menu. They also rotate bags of at-home coffee from Stamp Act and Herkimer that have really unique flavors.
The coffee is amazing ❤️
Delicious food and coffee. Super friendly employees. Clean bathroom. Nice parking area.
Fine coffee, but I expected better with the high star rating. The baristas were fine, not rude, but also just quiet. Id have given it 4 stars but I ordered food, a breakfast sandwich, and they took so long to make it my coffee was done. Which is fine, 3 stars, but also weird - this place has a LOT of employees.
Subpar service.
Great coffee shop, clean atmosphere, and nice variety of drinks. Seems like they recently expanded the eating space, so will have lots of seating post COVID.
Love this place. So good. Kinda hidden so use google maps to find if needed
Three years later and the 5 stars hasnt changed. Excellent coffee, a great vibe, and evolving too! Now that theyve opened the space up with B-Side youve got food choices RIGHT there
Cute people, great vibe, good coffee!
Comfortable and welcoming coffee shop with a great vibe inside. Coffee is great too (they use a great roast thats nice and fruity) and their prices are very affordable. Only thing the locations could use is more table seating, but that is the only complaint I can find.
Such good coffee!
We love this precious place. Great coffee, perfect feel inside, and chairs outside where (back pre-virus) we would regularly sit and meet dogs.
Clean, neat and lots of cool coffee equipment. Plenty of seating for working and an average noise level.
Cool place. We got lattes and steeped tea. I liked the reading material choices on the coffee table - Comic books! Magazines!Definitely recommend.
Another nice shop in Seattle. Found beans from a couple local roasters.
Great macchiato, very tasty and affordable. Perfect neighborhood location. Wish they were open earlier on week days. Service seems to be not too slow for the level of business they do. Nice music and ambience.
Good coffee and relaxed atmosphere. I appreciated the fact that they had a copy of the New York Times and magazines on hand for customers to look over. Recommended!
Super chill atmosphere, with spinning records, newspapers, and chatty baristi. The baked goods are great, but go before 2 if you want some hot grub from B-Side around the corner. Extremely interesting coffee menu. Dont be afraid to get nerdy!
Friendly employees, great coffee + pastries! Really happy to see all the staff and most of the customers wearing masks, I feel really safe there!
If the drip coffee didnt taste good I wouldve given them 1 star. There were 3 people working behind the counter and only 2 people in front of me and it took 15 min to get a drip coffee. The orders ahead of mine were simple so there was no good excuse. Top Pot down the same street a couple blocks away has nicer staff and better service with same pastry offerings plus donuts. Disappointing
Great food and coffee but service leaves something to be desired
Kinda okay coffee. Expected a lot better. Had a mocha, the milk was either over frothed or stale. Not sure.
I always get the drip and its the best coffee Ive ever had. I always drink it black as well
Good coffee, though their large coffee is only 12oz!
Great local coffee shop. They have a variety of options for every coffee lover with a selection of around 4 different pour overs. Cute space with plants. Dogs are not allowed inside.
Such good coffee. Love the atmosphere. I had an almond milk latte, and after letting the flavor sit, reminds me of a vanilla biscuit.
Small and minimal with great service. I stopped in for a quick coffee. After ordering a large drip coffee they noticed that the drip had run out with only half a cup. They gave me what was left and offered me a pour over coffee as a replacement. Really great service. They also have a selection of comics to browse while you wait or if you just want to hang out and read. Love it.
Skip Starbucks and check out this cute and cozy neighborhood coffee spot. Not much seating so expect to grab and go or wait for a spell. Great service and delicious.
Great local coffee
Great vibes, great coffee. Huge vintage record player. Come here for a coffee date, or to read a book on a quiet Saturday.
Tucked back inside a neighborhood is this lovely little shop. Drip, pour over, and espresso based drinks are available. Retro styled cups are used to serve some of the best beans you can find in the northwest. I enjoyed my cup out front on some chairs that reminded me of high school. If in the area, skip the Starbucks down the street and enjoy a better cup of coffee here.
Great coffee from friendly staff! Nice selection pf pour overs and espresso options with a wonderful in-house library of comics to enjoy while you sip.
I love this place so much. staff treated us so nice. bring your appetite because portions are large.
We finally settled on Analog Coffee when we got caught on foot during a rainstorm. They had the coffee we craved, but not the pastry. We found a place to sit, but it wasnt cozy or comfy enough to stay for any longer than necessary. #coffee
Dreamy spot serving up delicious coffee and tasty pastries (including gf options!). Love the selection of magazines and newspapers to peruse while getting lost in time.
Place was clean, nice and customer service was great. Only downside is that my friend and I couldnt taste the coffee for our beverages since it was really milky.
Such a good spot and good coffee. Some of the patrons can be standard Seattle standoffish, but the people that work there are friendly.
Truly impressed me with their pour over! There’s a lot of coffee shops in Seattle but this one stood out in particular. Great little place then head to B-Side Foods you won’t regret it.
Love this place! Great coffe from drip to espresso drinks. Get your drinks for here and theyll put it into a cute mug for you to enjoy :)
Good coffee in a no frills environment. What else do ya want?
I loved the cozy atmosphere and the coffee was good too. I tried the cold brew hibiscus tea which was really great.
Love the atmosphere, coffee, staff and music ✌️
Great coffee, friendly staff and atmosphere, and not too busy. Indoor and outdoor seating, dog friendly, bright and airy.
Always great service and tasty coffee.
Remarkable amount of seating for such a small space and a nice bit of outdoor covered seating so I can hang with my dog while Im there. (Coffee is also great)
Good coffee, lovely placeI had their very good pour over coffee with the beans for the day. Very very good. This place is small but it has a lot of natural light. Feels very cosy.
Great coffee and amazing atmosphere. Best café in Calgary!
Awesome coffee! Their cappuccinos are amazing even with alternative milks. The atmosphere is minimalist with just the right amount of ambient noise. The baristas are friendly, professional and knowledgeable. Analog is the quintessential Seattle neighborhood coffee shop
Cool little coffee shop! Kinda hidden but super close to my place so...Theres a star bucks down the block if you dont feel like trying something different
Huge fan! Best coffee and amazing individuals pouring wonders.
If you took the essence of hipsters and put it in a pot and slowly boiled it down to condensed, super-strong hipster syrup, youd get Analog Coffee. It took me about 3 months of regular visits and one of the incredibly cool staff told me they liked my bag and I went home and realized, yes, Ive made it!This isnt to imply the staff are rude or bad in any way. They are great! Theyre just so much cooler than you or I could ever be. The space is cool. The coffee is top notch. They opened a space next door called B-side with food and stuff now. They have a fancy Instagram with videos on how to coffee. I go there like 10 hours a week, so...yeah. Go there. Feel the pure Seattle Cap Hill hipster-ness wash over you and permeate your very soul.
Lovely place to have a cup of coffee while and chill! Taylor Swift playing, nice baristas who let me charge my phone! Definitely recommend.
A quiet, pleasant and friendly place to drink a little coffee or tea. Very helpful staff, excellent service I like it, I would recommend it, definitely Ill be back
Ive lived a block away from Analog for over 2 years now and have been here many, many times. Often spending there all day working. Its not all perfect, sure - one power outlet, usually cold, and a few other minor annoyances. But aside from that, its a wonderful place. True local, cozy feel. And of course, great coffee. It has honestly been one of my most favorite things about living in Capitol Hill.
In a city with no shortage of good coffee shops, analog stands out from the rest. Consistently good espresso in a comfortable neighborhood setting
Coffee is great but every time I go there I feel like a inconvenience
Good vibe, great place to do some work. Awesome choice of music. Discovered Ryuichi Sakamotos The End of Asia there. Am happy about it. Their latte is good too.
The cold brew on tap was delicious and the atmosphere of the coffee shop was very nice. Having said that the music was a little loud for my taste and I had to turn up my own music.Theres also only one bathroom so if you are unlucky you might have to wait a little
