Went to get a lifetime alignment service and they did a wonderful job even though it was an old car. Since I also had a stuck oil filter and drain nut, they helped me replace the oil for $25 since I had it with me! Awesome! Even changed the screws on my license plate as an added service for free!! :)

This is an amazing shop. Mike and his staff are always looking out for the consumer. I have taken my truck in on multiple occasions throughout the years. Mike would always say here is what we did and these are things that down the road could lead to problems, but not to worry right now They are not like other shops where they want to take you for all you have. They want the relationship and they get it with that type of service.

I have used Acorn on more than one occasion. Found a nail in my tire while out of town. Very professional, friendly and fast service. They even called and followed up with me to ensure everything was okay and I was happy for the service. Great experience.

Went for an oil change and tire balancing. After leaving the place, the light was still on so I checked and turns out oil change was not done. Then the balancing seemed off so I ask the person there and he said we were going to ask you if you needed it done. So they charged me for the two things I went there for but never actually did it. Terrible. I had to waste my time and go back again to get it done. All they did was apologize. Never going back there. Super shady.

My experiences with this place were not overly wonderful, in fact just about the only thing I truly loved about it was the fact I felt like I wasn’t being swindled. It had a personal touch, and that goes a very long way in this specific industry. For that brief time, I was extremely thankful. I did my best to spread the word about this business and was met with an embarrassing encounter for my mother. She just wanted an oil change, she was quoted $60 on the phone for synthetic. She left with a $140 bill. For synthetic that they convinced her needed to be upgraded from 5000 to 7500. Her car is newer, the manufacturer recommends 10000 on regular synthetic. Not only did she pay DOUBLE for only an extra 2500 miles, they convinced her she needed an air filter changed as well, so that was an extra $20. Business is hurting here, they spam text me often and honestly used to feel bad for them with Covid. But after these actions and the obvious shady business dealings, how can I continue to recommend this place? I’m confident in saying it’s their own behaviors that lead to this. They’ve lost my households business, and quite honestly if you’re debating taking your vehicle here, just don’t. Save yourself the time of resigning up with a new repair shop and just skip this one.

I had a catastrophic blowout on my 2009 CR-V on a Saturday night but managed to get back home on the flat. Changed the tire to mydonut spare and went to Acorn Tire & Service in Hoffman Estates on Monday and they worked with me but couldnt save the damaged tire. A spike went through the tread and knicked the sidewall. Since the other 3 Michelins were matched, they searched their other dealers and found a matching tire size (not a Michelin) I could use for the duration of all the tires on my SUV. They looked long and hard and came up with a solution. They are very professional there and will work with you to get your situation solved. I have used them in the past and they know what they are doing. They are tire specialists and I trust them. I will probably use them again. Thank You, everyone at Acorn!

Professional. Great value. Friendly service.I brought my car in for new tires yesterday. Acorn Tire showed me a list of tires for my car. They recommended a number of them, including the least expensive tires, which they said were good (and had a 65K warranty). Unfortunately, they werent in stock, and I had arrived too late to get them that day. I made an appointment for the next morning, came back, and they installed the tires. They also performed a free wheel-alignment test, which showed some misalignment on the left camber. (This is the same misalignment my Toyota dealer has shown me for years and said they couldnt adjust it anymore.) Acorn Tire showed me an aftermarket camber bolt that would allow them to adjust the camber. Sure enough, after installing the bolt, my car is now correctly aligned. I might be fooling myself and it could be the new tires, but it feels as if it drives better and with less resistance.I went to Acorn Tire on my sons recommendation, and Ill definitely go back.

I called in advance to ask them to recycle some old tires of various sizes (we are cleaning out the garage). They were friendly, professional and very reasonable (charged $31.40 for 8 tires). They took them out of my trunk and backseat. Fast transaction!

I came into Acorn by accident because I was searching for a place to do an emergency repair on my vehicle and this was the closest place I found to where I was located at the time. I’m very lucky to have found them and now come in exclusively because they treat you great and take honest care of your vehicle. One of the things that sticks to me, on top of the great car service, is how they communicate with their clients and will check up on you whether they have your car or not. They are quick to respond to any questions you have and will work with you to take care of your concerns about repairs being done. Andy and Mike are fantastic and always call or text with any news. Very pleased with their workmanship, and Customer Service was fantastic. They arranged drop-off and pick-up from my local dealership, just 4 minutes from my house, so it was really convenient. Had some major body work done on the right side of my vehicle which, among other things, involved total replacement of the rear door, and you cant even tell the vehicle was ever damaged.

Good place to get car fixed or repaired. Knowledgeable and well priced for the job.

This place is AMAZING! Recently took my car into a certain shop -ahem, Jiffy Lube- and was told I needed new brakes that would cost $600. I politely declined and looked around for some deals. Brought my car here and was told I didnt need new brakes at all! I appreciate their honesty. The staff is friendly, prices are affordable, and I most definitely will be back. I found a screw in my tire as I went to start my hour long commute home. Called in and Jeremy and his team accommodated me just 14 minutes before closing. Unfortunately, two screws led to the need for a whole new tire rather than a patch but I was informed of the price before they did the replacement and felt the price was very fair. I will definitely be back for oil changes and other car needs!

We just had an Full Synthetic Mobil One oil change and Brakes done with tires with Struts on our Subaru and Volvo is next following our Impala. And my car rides like new Andy and Mike did a Excellent job explaining why the important Services were needed, pricing was fair and labor was fair, then the maintenance for miles due the car needed. Also would not hesitate to refer to all my friends and Family to this place. The Technicians are very friendly and do great work. They will repair damaged tires that are repairable, and will recommend replacement when necessary, but I feel their advice is fair.

I must say that the wait time is usually longer than I would like but then again I see it as they are busy because people like the results. Andy has always been very professional and always does what he can to make the customer happy.

I needed new tires and my brakes were making loud noises. The new tires make it a better drive and fixing the rust on the brakes made them work better as well as making it a smoother ride. The cost was affordable and made the experience much easier to handle. Most places try to tell you about extra work that doesnt really need to be repaired.

Always have had honest, straight forward service here get the past 5 years. Clear communication and the staff always try to explain what is a must fix and urgent and what is something to be aware of and keep an eye on. They also are proactive about helping you apply coupons or rebates to help you get the best price possible. Has been my go to place, and go to the dealership when its only an absolute necessity to do so.

I purchased Goodyear tires online and chose this location to have the installation done; they did the job in a timely manner, and they informed me about some minor complications right away, asking for my consent to continue the installation, given that some studs were damaged in a previous service at a dealership; I like that they offer free rotations every 6 months/6000 miles for the life of the tires (65,000 miles warranty)...The people at Acorn have been very nice to me so far, especially Andy.

They replaced both the front struts and the sway bar end on my Honda Odyssey and now my car drives like new. They did a fabulous job. I want to appreciate Andy (Store Manager) for his service, was very honest and price was affordable. I definitely will bring my car there again. Thank you

Do not bother with this place.1.Asked for a print out of the alignment readings before and after like every other place offers. Their explanation was that they cant do that because their machine doesnt print out anything.2.Picked up the car late at night on 4/1 and was told everything went well. Drove the car to work on 4/2 and its pulling to the right even more. Brought the car back on 4/3 and complained that its worse. I was then told I need new tires. So I went back to discount tire where I purchased the tires and they checked the tires and they said the tires are good.4. Brought the car back on 4/4 explaining that the tires are good and now theyre explanation is that on 4/1 someone forgot to tell us that the cars camber adjustment is maxed out and it will need aftermarket parts not made by Honda? WHAT THE HECK?When a repair shops story keeps changing and the phone gets passed from one person to another stay away from that shop. Learned the hard way with this place.

I have had my truck in there recently for new tires, a belt tensioner and a belt, and just recently for only a battery when I was sure I needed an alternator. They do quality work, and get it done quickly. No issues in my end at all.

Used them twice this fall for tire repair. The first tire had a nail in the sidewall that was not fixable. Acorn ordered a new tire and it was there the next day. Other tire stores said it was a special order that would take a week. The second and most recent visit was for a screw in a different tire ( Darn road construction around Schaumburg and Hoffman) They were able to repair it and get it back on my vehicle quickly. I did not make an appointment, just brought it in.

Quick, easy, honest service. Read Yelp reviews and called here for a tire repair. Turns out my friend comes here too and he highly recommended this place but called it by a different name. The reviews were and are accurate. My new go-to place for tires. And perhaps more. Plus great coffee and donuts. Who could ask for more?! So after the fact and friends seeing my post and comments on FB, turns out three friends have been coming here long term. They have had nothing to say but positive feedback as well.

Stay away from this place. Prices are subject to who they believe they can scam. Customer service is non-existent and they get angry and treat you poorly when you question random fees on the invoice.
