THE BEST STORE EVER!!! We had so much we needed done. Upgrading phones, the merge from sprint to T-mobile, adding watches, fixing the connection to my smart watch. We threw everything at them and Thomas and Ryan handled everything with a smile and great conversation. I honestly dont think you could find better customer service. I truly hope T-mobile realizes how valuable they are. Great customer service is so hard to find!! They are a treasure. Thank you gentlemen so much!!!
Horrible customer service. Bought a supposedly free watch with activation of telephone line . Each month I get billed for the watch equipment purchase. Each month I call and they adjust the bill down to correct amount. But will not take responsibility for the fact that their salesman sold it outside the promotion and it wasnt free. I would return it if that would solve it. . Zack is the manger at Sarasota Pavilion who didnt care to even return my call regarding what could be done to correct this problem.
When I walked in and Preston greeted me and remembered me from sprint, I was super excited to know he was there! He is very knowledgeable and gets the job done quickly! Ryan helped my husband and also is amazing and very knowledgeable!
My mom and I just had a great experience at this T-mobile store all thanks to our sales associate, Daisy. We were interested in upgrading our phones which can be a lengthy and overwhelming process, however, Daisy made the experience great. She was very kind, knowledgable, proficient and not pushy at all!!! She recommended the best phone options/choices to both of us as well as answered every question we had in a very pleasant and professional manner. The girl working acted like I was bothering her. Extremely rude and didnt even try to help me. I asked about a service they offered and she gave me their terrible deals. I had just come from AT&T, I told her they offered a better deal for cheaper and she just rolled her eyes. No problem. I canceled and am now a happy AT&T customer paying less money for better service

Worst service ever, do not use their promotions they literally lied to my face and then they didn’t do anything about it even though it was their mistake. I am not talking about the company as Tmobile. I am talking about the people who works there! Find another store, that’s the best advice I can give you.

Went in and purchased a smart watch to with my Galaxy S10 Plus. Asst. Manager swapped out sim card to T-Mobil from without my consent ot knowledge. Lossed all of my voicemails. These people need to be trained. Cost me a lot of money. Then get to spend several hours getting it fixed.

Steven told me it was a soft inquiry for a credit check...DO NOT BELIEVE HIM. They are hard inquiries I got multiple different hard hits because I had to re run it over and over again (thinking this was a soft inquiry) to prove the amount online was cheaper than in store which he told me the online price and in store would not change at all. For someone trying to work on their credit this really hits hard so now I have to dispute it all and pray it comes off. I am so furious will not use T-Mobile EVER. All you gotta do is a quick google search if T-Mobile does a hard or soft and you will see the thousands of people who have been told my multiple workers it was a soft but came to find out it was a hard inquiry.
That was the worst experience I have ever had at a phone store. They ought to ship that guy back to Mexico. Now I wonder who Im going to use for a cell phone provider since Sprint is no longer available.

Great customer service! Robert was wonderful. My start up was a little complicated, due to being put onto my sisters plan, but he took the time and was very helpful and courteous. Everyone in the store was friendly, which was nice as Ive experienced less courteous associates with other carriers. They were even helpful with entertaining my 2 yr. old niece while Rob set up my phone. 5 stars isnt enough. Thanks, Rob & crew, for making it a great experience!

My wife and I are in our 60s. We changed from Sprint to T-Mobile because of the better plans. When we went into the Store Tommy T waited on us. He described the various plans and made suggestions as to what would be best for us. We purchased a plan and phones. Tommy was very patient and helpful explaining and showing us how various feature work. He was so professional. My wife and I feel technically challenged and Tommy made it seem so simple. We appreciate everything he did.

A friend of mine needed to pick up a SIM card and couldnt wait the two days it would take to receive an online order, so we went to the retail store. I knew it would be bad, but I was unprepared for how unpleasant an experience it was.Despite being one of two customers in the store, the staff of three took over 10 minutes to get to us. Once we were being helped, my friend was given the hard sell to sign up for a more expensive post-paid plan. When asked to explain how a $75 plan was a better value than the $45 plan with the same features that my friend is currently on the employee said it just is.Unless you desperately need some physical product and cannot wait two days to have it shipped, avoid the retail store at all cost.
Frustrated beyond belief at trying to get a cell phone set up at a competitor, I walked into the T-mobile store desperate and with low expectations.What a difference!David took care of everything I needed with a level of professionalism and customer service that I had previously thought was extinct.He helped me save money AND helped me sign up for a plan that will help my business grow.Truly a great experience.
Ive been a T-Mobile customer for several years. This is by far the best T-Mobile store Ive ever visited. The staff is extremely helpful, but not pushy. Wait times seem to be generally short at this location. Anytime I need to go by a T-Mobile store, this is the one Ill head to, even if theres a closer location.

Absolutely horrible, walked in to buy 2 brand new phones and get on a new plan, greeted by some young girl that was on drugs, twitching, couldnt stay still, pupils as big as her eyes lol, so crazy, never before have i seen someone at work like this. Asked if I could deal with someone else and just said ok no problem, as if nothing was wrong. Went to GULF GATE T-Mobile where the manager helped me very calmly and professionally.
These people will absolutely lie to you. They told us multiple times that one could get off a plane anywhere and there would be no extra charge to make a call. Well, now we are overseas and roaming charges are hitting us big time. T-mobile the company also overstates their coverage. I had dropped calls, dropped texts in an area deemed Excellent coverage. Dont believe a thing they say. The only positive thing is no contract. Which we will definitely take advantage of that.Here it is 2 months later after cancelling my service, and I look and they are still charging my card after cancellation. Beware!!
Here I am buying top of the line phones over $1800 worth. The one guy working with me was the biggest jerk. I assume its because I was in sweats with paint on them and looked ragged. I have three boys forgive me if I choose sweats over chaps. I may have looked poor but my money is just as good as they guy behind me. Maybe he hated women I dont know. But I have never been treated bad by T-Mobile until I went there. I will avoid this store and drive 10 miles further to the other next time.

Worst customer service I have ever experienced. There glad to get you to change from your current carrier. Once you make the move, look out! Its cost me almost 1300.00 dollars to switch over and still no coverage where I live in downtown Sarasota. Try to go in the store after purchase and watch what happens. Rude, flippant attitudes, and basically you will feel like you are doing them a favor bye there attitudes at that store. I have contacted Sarasota County and the BBB. I have been given permission to protest this store. I will be there Sat Morning 8/10/2013 for the protest. Join me. I will be there every Saturday there after until I feel enough residents of Sarasota know the truth about this store and its policies.

The store employee tried to help me, but he could not. He got on the phone with customer service to find out why I have had charges after I closed my account Feb. 24. Its unfair. I turned in my SyncUp equipment and all other devices on Feb. 24. Evidently SyncUp service continued on even though I turned in the equipment. I hope someone with common sense at T-MOBILE will refund the proper amount. Do the right thing!!
I love it when a company can sell you a product and service, then say ya, sorry those are trouble areas for us, maybe it will work n a month. Well I have been waiting 3yrs worth of months, n nothing. In regards to the hardware you sold me with warranty, that is broken, Im SOL.AwesomeAfter I explained that I was hoping for improved service, your response is, youve been with us for 7yrs, ya, sorry, if you switch providers, you do what you have to do.

Got my first t-mobile phone a couple months ago and so far I love it. I have 4g lte almost everywhere with the only exceptions being the north side of Anna Maria island and certain spots on long boat key. Full signal bars inside my home, super fast Internet, and completely unlimited 4g with free hot spot access. Still havent gotten a single dropped call and I even get 4g inside my job a bit east of interstate 75. So far havent needed to use the WiFi calling feature but I like knowing its there just in case I need it someday! So glad I switched.

T mobile service is great but last time i went to this store had to wait for one hour,this guy named keneth(manager)treat me like a 10 years old kid not even let me explain the situation i had whit my cell,i bring my own cell wich its t mobile whit sim card and everithing and he make my buy a new sim card and after everithing the phone didnt work and he refuse to reembolse my money,so finaly i have to buy another phone from there whit another sim card,so after 2 hours i end up whit one new cell and 2 sim cards.guy is a trip,never come back,I will drive some other t mobile store..

The customers service here is excellent! Would rate higher if I could! Robert helped us switch from Verizon and I barely had to do anything! He brought my number over, transferred ALL my phone info, even Wi-Fi passwords and text messages! Applied the screen protectors perfectly (not a single bubble!) and even helped us with getting our cancellation fees from Verizon paid off! Love my new phone and the service is awesome! Even get great signal in a Walmart that is known to be a dead zone for all cell phones! AND my bill is almost half what it used to be with unlimited 4G! Definitely a no brainer! Wish I had switched much earlier!
Beware if you are thinking of switching to T-Mobile in this store. I was told I could get reimbursement for early termination fees up to $650 per line and phone lease pay-off up to $650 per phone charged; AND IF I opened the account under my company name, there would be a promotional credit of $100 per line and $10 credit per month for each line. I signed up with them based on these information. But once the account was opened and they started to transfer my lines from AT&T, then I was told T-Mobile could not give me both reimbursements and credits. Doesn’t it smell like bait and switch? And that is not the end of the nightmare….It took me 3 trips to this store just to open the account because first I was told I must get new iPhones 6plus from T-Mobile for $25 per phone each month but would receive $20 credits per phone each month if I give them my current iPhones 6 and 6 plus. So I returned the following day with my current iPhones. Then second time I was there, I was told I needed to give them additional smart phones to qualify the reimbursement program, old smart phones are ok as long as they still work. So I went back AGAIN and returned with some old smart phones. Then the rep told I could only get either reimbursement OR credits but not both.I was upset to say the least after all these running around, so I told her to cancel the deal. Then the store manager came and tried to sell me the BS deal to me. He didn’t even apologize!I returned home and realized some of my phones did not work. It is because T-Mobile already switched 2 phone numbers from AT&T. Then I drove to AT&T store to fix that and was told T-Mobile had to release the numbers first. So I drove to T-Mobile and asked them to release the numbers, cancel my account and provide a refund to me. Another T-Mobile in the same store assisted me and told me the numbers were released, account would be closed and a refund was processed, but his printer was not working so he could not print me the refund receipt. None of that actually happened. No only I feel like I am victim of bait and switch and lies, I also feel like I am being held hostage. Sound familiar? It is like used car salesmen holding on to your car key and not letting you leave showroom!It took several phone calls with AT&T to call T-Mobile to get the lines back. Sure the account was not closed and I didn’t see any refund to my credit card account even after a few days. I chatted with T-Mobile Customer Service and was told they could not do anything and I had to call their 800 number. I called the 800 number and the lady was courteous and told me the account indeed was not closed and she would close it for me, but I had to get the refund from the store. Seriously! She thinks the store would refund me! I obviously do not want to deal with them ever again, so I called my credit card to reverse the T-Mobile charge. I hope this is the end of this nightmare. The whole thing wasted at least 20 hours of my time, not to mention all the aggravation!-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------Update - Manager of this store called me a few days after this post to apologize and offered assistance to transfer my lines back to AT&T and to get back my refund. Although the apology and offer to help came a bit late, at least he did what he should have done.

This place is a joke....after they put you on their so called network ...you cant even make calls or text to the other lines in the same house...text do not go through....they will say oh you live in Venice...bad area we will send you a booster for free???? Booster??? Got a Wifi Booster in the mail but not sure why because I am trying to have a cell phone on a REAL network not do wifi calling. My existing Wifi is better than they crap box they sent that does NOT have ANYTHING to do with making phone calls or not should I say dropped calls and dropped text? I didnt even know dropped texts were a thing.Now I have a bill for $95 which is suppose to be $150 for two line plus a I phone plus 6....cant download apps or use the internet AT ALL...then when you call they say they cant talk to you unless you come in (and wait forever) or to call customer service....who by the way is not in the area and has NO IDEA what you were told, sold,etc....man gotta go back to Verizon.
I dont write reviews, but I looked up T-Mobile Sarasota for the phone number and saw your horrible service reviews. You must just be a jerk because I was helped by a very nice and extremely knowledgeable guy. He told me about plans for my wife, phones on sale with his opinions on each, and then helped me get great reception on my wi-fi. I live in LWR and the reception here sucks. He told me to turn on my wi-fi calling (never even knew it existed) and presto- perfect reception. 5-STARS!
What a poor Joke of Customer Service. I went with T Mobile as I was tired of paying the high costs for Iphone service at ATT. As most people should know ATT started unlocking iphones who have been with ATT a long time and are no longer on restricted contracts. I was one of those lucky people i thought.I called the t mobile store on N.Trail in Sarasota and spoke to Tommy. They are very happy to get you into the store and sign you up but when you come in or call for problems..they go the other way.I called today and Tommy said sorry just call 611 on your cell phone. Did not even want to help you. Very poor attitude. Needs to go.

T-Mobile customer service sent us here to replace a phone but the phone was $60.00 more expensive in the store. No thanks. Then we tried to port one of our phone numbers to a current phone. The employee refused to listen to what my wife told him about the pin number so we had to go home to do that over the phone. (They screwed it up as well). And the employee was still trying to sell accessories.They are all idiots...I dont care if its T-Mobile, Verizon or Metro PCS....
