The Best phone repair shop in Sarasota I spent a whole day driving back-and-forth between three or four different shops because he was closed on the day I need my phone fixed so I waited the next day until he was open Because I went to him before and he fixed my phone the first time and was super reasonable and awesome. So I went and the guy did everything the other guys didn’t he is absolutely awesome I recommend him 100% you cannot go wrong with Andrew he is just one of a kind when it comes to fixing phones I would not take my phone anywhere else and I will always be a repeat customer for him. Stopped in this repair shop last week (Thursday August 6) and made appointment to have iPad 7 glass replaced. Oliver was very helpful and instructed me to return the following week on Tuesday, August 11 at 3 PM to have repair done because glass had to be special ordered. I arrived at 3 PM on Tuesday to be told that repair tech “didn’t have time” to do repair. Staff was glib and dismissive about this inconvenience. Go elsewhere.

The young man that worked on my phone was very helpful and respectful. He didnt get my phone fixed right on the first go around. I took it back the next day and he replaced the port again and Pronto it works great.

DO NOT BRING YOUR VALUABLE ELECTRONICS TO THIS PLACE. I brought them a $1000 laptop because the screen wasn’t showing the display. They told me they could fix it. I went in for an update after two days and they said it may be the RAM. They said they would call me the next day. Another two days goes by, no call so I call and they say it’s not the RAM so they ordered a ribbon cord to see if that’s the issue and they would call me when it’s in. 3 days later I called for an update and they said the cord was in and they would try it and call me at the end of the day. I give them another two days and still no call. I go into the store and the guy tells me the ribbon didn’t work and they don’t know what the problem is. I ask why he hadn’t called me to let me know they were finished with my device and he had no answer. Then he goes to the back and gets my laptop and there are scratches all over the top that weren’t there. He argues that it was in a safe but I know for a fact those scratches were not there. Bottom line is these people conduct terrible business and I warn anyone that wants to take their devices there that they are amateurs with no punctuality that may damage your property

Im from Maine. Was in Sarasota for the weekend visiting my dad and had broken the screen on my Galaxy S8 phone the week before. Square Trade insurance directed me elsewhere but they couldnt do it. These guys ordered the screen. It was in the next day. I watched as he took my phone and carefully, patiently and knowledgeably disassembled and reassembled it. He had fine surgical skills (Im a surgeon). He did a beautiful job. It took longer than expected but he didnt rush. I observed him with other customers who came in during that time. He was always pleasant and honest. They said what they would do and did exactly that. I would take my problem phone to them first if I were you.

Had them fix a iPhone 8 Plus screen & After the repair the speaker didn’t work and nothing was checked over after the repair, the tech fixed it with no issue. Not sure if I’ll be using them again. Not a bad repair but make sure all the phones components work properly before leaving the store.

Super helpful! Replaced my screen protector for free (I brought the replacement in myself) he said its no cost when its your own. I was too nervous to apply it myself since I have a curved screen. Very patient and had pleasant small talk. Very gentle and meticulous handling my phone. Wish I got his name to help out with the recommendation more. The store was in a calm easily accessible never packed little shopping plaza conveniently by my house!

Just took 2 phones in there in the last week, and very well pleased both times. The 1st time they fixed it while we waited, and the 2nd time they had it fixed an hour later. Much better experience than where I had been taking them, and less expensive as well, as in $110 vs $180 for a broken screen for the same model phone. Another plus is that they fix them right there in front of you, instead of hiding behind a wall. Very competent people! Will be back.

They have replaced my screen twice. Both times the repair has been complete within just a couple of hours and done exceptionally well with great, friendly service. Their price was more than reasonable. While I hope never to need their services again, there is no question where I would turn if my phone is broken.

I dropped my Google Pixel 2 XL and it completely blacked out with no visible damage. The power button wouldnt cycle it on and panic set in. I brought it into my service provider who just tried to sell me a new phone. I decided to bring it to my broken phone in hopes that it could be salvaged. I was completely ready to drop a couple hundred on a repair. The tech grabbed my phone, did some witchcraft sorcery with the volume buttons, and handed a fully functional phone back to me. He wouldnt even accept payment. I forced a $20 bill onto him and skipped out the door like Mary Poppins. A+++++ business with exceptional customer service. Highly recommended.

I had a broken audio cable stuck in my headphone jack. They gave me a brand new charging board (headphone jack included) for only $60, and it was done in a half hour! Much cheaper and faster than expected. These guys definitely know what theyre doing. Highly recommended!

They saved me for the second time in 14 months today. Prompt, courteous and professional service on my iPhone 6plus. Bought a Lifeproof case and the guy took the time to explain how the test process for the case works. Both visits positive and while I hope to never have to come back, I highly recommend them. I think the 1-star reviews are bogus and from competitors.

I don’t normally do this but am very unhappy with this store I have still not gotten an IPad fixed they have had for a month and I get told over and over it will be done and promised another date as of yesterday and still not done they don’t even have the respect to call you and inform you of what’s going on and when you call you don’t get an answer and there mailbox is always full..... don’t know how you can run a business this way 😡 I just want my 80 year old Moms IPad fixed ASAP

Really nice guys and very fast service. Thats where the positives stop. I took my Galaxy S5 to My Broken Phone for a screen replacement. They charged $200, which was what everyone else was charging. However, they apparently installed a used screen because it had images burned into it that werent even from my phone. Once I discovered it I took it back and they promptly installed another screen. After that, the front-facing camera (which I use to take pictures of room renovations for my work because of the wide angle lens) had a round shadow surrounding the picture. I took it back again and they had to re-adhere the new screen and told me that the phone was bent. Later, I put a straight edge on it and the phone was not bent. I had to take it back a total of three times to repeat this procedure and it kept getting worse instead of better. Also, what they dont tell you when they sell you a new screen (unless you know to ask) is that the new screen is not OEM spec. The S5 comes from the factory water resistant and with Gorilla Glass. After replacing the screen, it is no longer water resistant and it was not Gorilla Glass even though it cost $200. The first time I dropped it face down on a flat surface, even with a heavy duty case on it, the screen broke. Obviously I wont be getting the screen replaced again. At least not by these guys.

I needed to jailbreak my phone for a trip to Paris. The staff were very helpful. Ultimately, we decided that the best plan was to use my old iPhone. They unlocked it and now I am good to go.However, I am lowering my review now because subsequent experience on three occasions has shown that they are not competent to do the repairs on some phones. Nor will I recommend buying a used phone that they have supposedly repaired. My wife did that, and it only worked half a day.

I have Verizon and they said without insurance they cant help me. They recommended me to a few other places that start at $95 to look at the phone. Called the guys at My Broken Phone and their prices and service beat the other guys by far! Clean showroom and the counter guys were very friendly. Definitely need to see Mike at the Fruitville Rd location!!!

They dont run off with your phone behind closed doors and then come back and tell you itll be $$$$ to fix your phone. Everything happens right there in front of you and they explain what may be wrong with your phone before they even begin. Very friendly upbeat atmosphere. I have been working for three weeks with a Venice battery store that fixes phones. They kept breaking the camera lens on my cell as they tried to repair it and then I have to wait another week for them to order in the part. I called My Broken Phone. OMG...I broke my screen at 4:05 p.m. and by 6:00 p.m. Mike had my new screen in place, phone cleaned up and ready to go. Saul was the most helpful of all the stores I called and the most reasonable in cost. I drove in backed up traffic on I-75 from Venice for over 45 minutes to get here, but it was well worth the trip. Within 5 minutes he had me ready to go and out the door.BTW, I asked for a stack of cards to take back to my Real Estate office for my fellow associates.

I came in @ 10:00am on a Tuesday morning and had my screen on my iPhone 5s replaced by 10:30am. The staff was knowledge, friendly, and did great work. You could also watch them work on your phone which was pretty cool.

I’ve been fighting with the charging port on my iPhone X for months...the connection kept getting worse and more intermittent.I finally gave in. These guys gave me an appointment in 20 minutes. When I came back an hour later to pick it up, they had found a piece of lint in the charging port, pulled it out with some pliers and didn’t charge me a dime!

My broken phone has helped my fiance and I are number of times. With anything from broken screens to water damage they have come through for us time and time again. They have excellent customer service, and timely repair I highly suggest that you give them a try!

Do not go to this place they do not do good work at all. All of their good reviews are from there people they do really bad work.I had them fix my charger port and screen. They did not fix the screen right it was still hanging out which caused it to crack And nobody can hear me when I talk to them on the phone. The guy told me to bring my phone back in. They didnt fix anything been sitting in the ready box for two weeks untouched did not call me or nothing and they are refusing to fix their shoddy work.

My boyfriend went to get his screen replaced and paid extra for gorilla glass which is supposed to be stronger. And the DAY AFTER he pulled it out of his pocket and there was a crack at the top. He did not drop it at all, and the crack got progressively worse throughout the day. When he took it back he explained the situation. They basically called him a liar in the middle of the store, saying they saw impact marks (not even where the crack had started, but where it spread to). They were not even polite about it, one of the guys was particularly rude. And on top of this it was extremely overpriced. He might as well have gone to the pros at Apple for all the trouble this created! We will not be returning and I would suggest to anyone to try somewhere else.

Brought an iPhone 6 in for a broken screen. Received back my phone with the ear piece and touch ID no longer . In addition my phone screen was no longer flush with the bezel. Ended up taking it to an Apple store and they fixed the screen but couldnt undo the damage to the touch ID or earpiece. At least apple didnt charge me anything as the damage was too severe to fix.Complete waste of time and, if you like talking to someone while they vape in front of you, then this is the place for you.Take your broken phone elsewhere and save yourself the time/money.

This place is a complete joke. I brought my sons phone in to have the screen replaced and a water test completed. The guy that owns the place assured me he could fix the device. The day I brought it in he tells me it will take a week to complete a water test and then replace the screen. After not hearing from him in 6 days I call in the 7th day. I tell him my son is going to heading out of town and needs to have his phone back in order for us to reach him. He says well then you can just come get the phone and we will give it back to you. So wait a minute. You are telling me you have had my phone for 6 days and havent even began to work on it. Today my wife picked up the phone and this guy is unsure of his own skill set. He does not know if the phone has water damage or even how to tell if a phone has water damage. Long story short this guy is a total retard with poor business skills. Do yourself a favor and go to the Apple store. This business does not use OEM parts and will just waste your time. BUYER BEWARE

The first iphone5 I purchased from here had these issues occur: screen stopped working all the time, power button stopped working, volume down button stopped working, home button only worked half the time. I kept putting off having work done on it because I have a busy work schedule. Eventually I dropped it and the screen cracked so I wanted to upgrade to another phone but I needed help transferring the data off (since the screen wasnt working). The staff/owner said it was $100 to fix the screen.. they had no flexibility on that even tho I mentioned I could sell the phone to them, all I needed was to get my data off and I could buy a phone from them. The guy seemed very bored and not interested in helping. I left. I went to another repair shop where they offered to get the data off for free if I was doing a transfer/purchase of a new phone at the same time. Luckily my screen started working again later that day so I was able to transfer the data myself. I bought a new iPhone 6s from a store that didnt act bored with me... without any hassle at all. I dont like being nickle and dimed.

When I got there, I tried to tell the owner what was wrong with it, he told me to be quiet???? They had my phone for almost 2 weeks, never called me. Not only could they NOT fix it, they punctured my battery and wouldnt replace it! TERRIBLE PLACE! Would give it a negative stars, but cant on this site.
