I had a great experience this past week with the salesman Garland. He is exceptionally knowledgeable, helpful, and kind and will always give the best customer service. His taste is exquisite and always tries to get me the best fabric for my projects. I wish he was in the shop more frequently as the teenage employees are not nearly as helpful. I look forward to seeing and working with Garland more in the future.

BEWARE This past week we purchased fabric for three sets of cushions. Yes the selection is very good and the prices seem good until you purchase your fabric. We were told by the gentleman that the cushions required 3 yards per pair therefore 9 yards. We ended up taking the roll to the end. I found an invoice from the last time they were covered and it stated 1 1/2 yards per pair also another invoice stated 5 yards for the entire group. I had them covered twice before by another company and this was going to be the third time Therefore we were up sold by nearly 4 yards and the bargain was no bargain after all. We had a number of pieces reupholstered at this place but never again. If you go to buy fabric here make sure you know in advance from some reputable upholster the number of yards you require. We tried to get in contact with them but no response.

The most beautiful fabric in the universe resides here. Its like walking through fabric heaven. Words cant decide the beauty, you must go and experience it for yourself. Thats it! Its an experience.

If you are buying fabric here dont rely on the yardage they recommend I recently took my cushions with me to find out exactly how many yards I needed to buy and bought exactly what the manager told me I would need.It turned out she told me almost 6 yards too many which amounted to a lot of money since it was Sunbrella fabric. They refused to give me a credit back on my charge for the overage they recommend I buy. Poor customer service, I have spent a lot of money there...no more.

Stopped by this location to find some fabric for a project. My husband Sherbert and I really enjoyed browsing the large selection. The older gentleman working was very kind and knowledgeable in helping me find exactly what I needed. I am glad I stopped by, and I will for sure come back for my next project!

Selection is good but getting assistance was slow

Let’a start with positive. The Sarasota location has endless choices of traditional fabric.Our experience: My husband I approached the only employee we saw in the showroom. He was eating lunch openly in the showroom. (Unprofessional!) I excused myself for interrupting his lunch. I explained my husband and I needed help choosing which fabric books for modern selections. He proceeded to point to the books. Described the fabrics in the books were made in OK, with a facility that covers 2 city blocks. (Relevant?) At that point he resumed eating his lunch. Needless to say we walked out in dismay.

I went to the sale today because I need 50 yards of fabric. The salesman named Orin was wearing his face mask on his chin. I asked him to put it on properly and he said he couldn’t because his nose was too big. He thought he was very funny. I’ve encountered this guy before and have found him to be a dirty old man. Too bad he lost a large sale with his cocky attitude. I will not return to this store again.

Im a snowbird. Im also a veteran of 27 years in the design industry. Been going to there stores since 1996 back in Boca Raton and have been going to the Sarasota location for the past 7 years. This store has improved tremendously throughout the years. The renovations are beautiful better lighting the staff is very helpful and the fabric choices are endless. Wish we had a store like it in Ct.

They’ve had my recliner for three months and still no progress not even a phone callI don’t know what the problem isWhen I called the show room they tell me the same thing that my recliner is still in the workshop and they will call me when it’s doneThis is really unacceptable customer service

Extensive inventory of fabrics, trims and other items for home decor. Knowledgeable and helpful staff. Parking on site. Prices are OK and sale prices are often a grand bargain. My wife loves this place.

Wow, did I get taken! The sale price was vastly more than I could have paid anywhere else. Im impressed by their boldness, I guess, and shame on me for not double-checking. Just paid $30 a yard for outdoor fabric I found on a dozen other websites for about half that much. Next time Ill try Jo-Anne or an online retailer.
