I just bought a new house, and I mean new! It was staged by the reality company with pieces from Furniture Warehouse. Who ever it was that put together the staging did an outstanding job. I was fortunate enough to discover that everything staged was available for purchase. So I sat down with the manager and she put together a great deal for me. All that was left to do was to move my clothes and dishes in. Unbelievable! The staff was extremely helpful. The manager was more than willing to work within my budget. And I picked up this great chair too! Coming home has never been better!

At 7 months pregnant, I thought splurging on a new bed could only help me reduce stress. I understand since covid production is behind. My problem is not that they said 4-6 weeks and it actually took 2.5 months and no one from the company called. My problem is they sell you that when your new bed gets delivered they take your old one. That’s all their paperwork says too. Instead my delivery guys refused to take the old (yeah it’s old and discolored hence why I bought a new one!). I called corporate “customer service” and spoke with an extremely rude woman who seemed like I was bothering her, she told me I could put it on the curb! Yeah at 7 months pregnant, I’ll just drag it out there. Not to mention what an EYESORE that would be for my neighbors. I called my sales person who again said to put it on the curb. I asked where this policy is written? I may not have paid the $100 delivery fee had I known they would not do what they said. I wish I would have gotten my mattress and base anywhere else! I cannot believe their lack of customer service and that they can go against their word of removing the old bed. They should have to discuss this at time of sale. Their paperwork says “we got your covered” that couldn’t be a bigger joke! DON’T SHOP HERE. You’ll only regret it later.

Huge inventory. Many choices. They dont follow you around, they let you shop. Find something you like and just flag down your rep. Very simple.

Good experience with Evan today, we took our sweet time spending two hour testing the recliners, Evan checked on us regularly but wasnt pushy and was patient with all our questions. Finally purchased a three seater and Evan took us through it explaining everything. I hope the delivery process will be just as seamless.

They have good quality furniture at good prices. The best part was Philip B who was a great help to us. Ask for him.

The sales staff was very kind and informative, not pushy and always able to/willing to answer questions.However, where they lacked was the options. I don’t think I’ll be a customer here. They had a few stylish and decent looking pieces and sets, however, we felt they were a bit pricey for the quality of the item.But we did browse a few other local furniture shops and this place was the most affordable of them, so if budget is your main concern, you’ll most likely be able to find something here.If they expanded their inventory and color options, I’d be likely to come back and give it a second look.Still recommend, but not my top-choice for now.

I purchased a mattress a few weeks ago and was assured that it was the exact same brand as I purchased in 2018. The sales person even verified by a matching picture on computer before placing the order. When delivered, it had a totally different brands label. I immediately called the store; again they insured me it was the same brand with a different tag. It is not the same mattress or comfort level. I would have bought a mattress cover had I known that. have not slept well for over two weeks and wake up in pain every morning. Yet I cannot return it, nor have they offered any accommodation.After two calls and a visit to the store (where the manager Philip didnt have the decency to even come out and speak to me or resolve the problem), I am left with no recourse. I was promised a phone call two weeks ago. Have not received.Their actions showed me that Im not a valued customer. I will take my business elsewhere and would recommend if you are reading this post, that you do the same. I will never do business with this place again. I dont have money to throw away. A mattress is an investment.

I purchased my bedroom furniture and it was delivered within a week! Everywhere else I had looked for furniture it would take between 4 to 8 weeks. The delivery guys were very respectful and did a good job. I noticed some imperfections on a few of the pieces. Furniture Warehouse sent out a technician to fix everything and all the pieces look fabulous!

When I purchased a couch and love seat in Sept is 2020 I was told I was 2nd on list. Now 10 months later I am told I am 4th or 5 th on the list depending on who you talk to. My salesman said he told me it could be a year. Now I ask you who would purchase a couch knowing it would be a year to receive. Besides I have a witness. I will never do business at the Sarasota store again. I was not treated with any kind of respect

If zero was an option than that would have been the rating. Southern charm was given a bad name by this company. Thought I was dealing with a professional organization when I needed to furnish my property here in Sarasota. Walked into the store was greeted with warm smile and helped through furnishing the whole house that was just purchased. Once the money was taken ($6000) all the issue / problems became mine, which I guess seems fitting because they already got paid for the goods so pass on service. Been promised 3 out 4 times for delivery that I had to be available in their 4 hour window in which that means nothing as they tried to deliver furniture at midnight and also most recently 1:12am. No apologies from the store at all and even had to call them 3 times to schedule another delivery. Really feel bad for the people delivering as a company this big obviously cannot get the logistics down and put those drivers out that late. Oh yeah, Phillip the “store manager” had a nice lady call me whom doesn’t even handle this; instead of calling me. Buyer beware of the false / good reviews as that is comical to read because they have no idea what service is or how to properly treat people.

I had regular updates from my salesperson Allisia on my order. It was back ordered for over a month and the manager Philip tried to find this item sooner for me. Luckily it did arrive by the second date expected and delivery was set up ASAP. As luck would have it the truck was in an accident enroute and the door would not open. They put it on the next day delivery and all turned out fine. I would deal with them in the future without hesitation.

Ordered a couch from Kerry on Labor Day Weekend and it was an amazing deal. The delivery was suppose to be middle of October which I was okay with at the beginning. Fast forward to middle of October and I have heard absolutely nothing about scheduling a delivery or a phone call. I had to pick up my phone and call last Sunday (10/11) to the store to get an answer. Ryan answered and told me the order was pushed back to middle of NOVEMBER.I have been waiting for a couch for a month and now I am going to be couch-less for 2 months which is not okay because this is not what was promised and there was zero communication to the push back.Ryan suggested I look at the clearance section at the store that can be delivered this week (10/12.) When I showed up to the store, turns out I would have to pay EXTRA for the inconvenience of moving a couch from the show room which I would pay and extra $150 instead of swapping a couch out for the same price so I do not have to wait for my couch. I walked out very frustrated, aggravated and empty handed back to my couch-less home.I have not heard back from the company on how they can help me with this push back and I am not spending anymore of my time and money with them because it is their fault for the inconvenience. Kerry or a manager was suppose to call me about my options and nobody has. WILL BE canceling my couch order because I am upset with communication, pricing and customer service.I better get a full refund so I can use my money else where.

We had a great experience here! The lady that helped us was great and very helpful. She knew her products well and was able to show us exactly where everything we wanted was. They have a great selection of furniture! I would definitely return!

I had the same horrible experience as the previous customer Anita Boutwell with her mattress (posted). DO NOT BUY FROM THIS STOREMattress that was on the showroom floor was smooth and comfortable hence our purchase what arrived was a very lumpy mattress that was extremely uncomfortable! When I went back to the store to complain I was told that the floor mattress is 2-3 years old and has flattened out from so many people testing it. So I was told my mattress will flatten out and become comfortable in time. REALLY I should be uncomfortable for a couple of years? Of course I did not buy their over priced mattress pad and had no recourse for an exchange. SHAME ON THIS STORE

I brought my dear friend, Sheryl Lazzarotti, to the south Sarasota store to help her purchase a couch. Ryan waited on her and as soon as he understood what she wanted (and didnt want) he went to work to find her exactly what she wanted and worked very, very hard to respect her budget and to get the couch delivered on her time frame. Outstanding service at Furniture Warehouse. Adrian Garcia took care of my needs, no pressure, and very thorough. I almost didnt stop there as I didnt think their quality was as good. Im very pleased with the quality of my new dining room table. I paid a lot less than my friends and think my quality is even better than their new tables.

Nice friendly welcome by Alex when we walked in we didnt need help right away so we told her we were looking around and when we needed help we will call her.We saw a bed for our daughter and I wanted to know how much it would be total with delivery and a mattress.I think it was a floor manager or supervisor who I asked about the price, she was the closest by us at that time.She reacted very grumpy and said the price in underneath this label and wasnt friendly at all !She asked did someone greeted you when you walked in...and we said yes Alex did,ok she said then I will send her to you !Because she talked to us a certain way we decided not to buy the bed, even though my daughter wanted it !The price of the bed was $1500, so too bad Furniture Warehouse we bought it some where else .

The couch that I purchased was just delivered...I am so happy with the delivery service. The gentlemen were fast and very helpful. The couch itself is beautiful..Last but definitely not least, Alex, the salesperson that helped me was fantastic...She was extremely courteous, knowledgeable, and kind to my little ones.

We love shopping at Furniture Warehouse. The selections are wonderful in all price ranges. Best of all is our salesperson Becka. She is very knowledgeable of the products but is not pushy at all. This is our second trip up to Sarasota from Venice. We just couldnt shop without Becka. She is just like shopping with a friend. The delivery staff is also excellent. Our delivery arrived on time and in perfect condition both times. So far Furniture Warehouse is batting a thousand! When we need more furnishings for our condo, we will definitely be back.

We went looking for a complimentary chair. Craig Wills helped us and carefully listened to what we were looking for and then he showed us numerous options. He even suggested we take the pillows home and see which one would suit our place the best. This gave us the confidence to make the right decision.We will return for more items as needed. He assured me that he would get back to me and to date after several emails and phone calls where I left messages, not even an acknowledgement which just shows you the level of professionalism and commitment to the customer.Hi Phillip: As discussed today, I wanted to re-cap my experience with sales, service regarding my purchase from Furniture Whse June 1st, 2020.Purchase occurred on 6/1/2020, sales associate was Megan Brown.Megan stated that the products delivered of which I was charged delivery fee, would be turn key.Product delivered that following Friday. Dining room table was delivered without the hardware to install.Service left the hardware behind. Would not be able to come back the same day. So, without an installed table for the day and most Saturday.Service stated that they would come at the end of the day (Saturday) which was early evening.Sofa had a grease mark on it and the delivery gentlemen said, he could not fix the problem. I had to call service again.Called Monday or Tuesday to speak with Megan and she said that she could not help as she has no control over the service department.After numerous calls to service, they said they could not come out until the following Tuesday, 6/16. Awful service for a grease spot.Service stated they would be at my place between 8AM - 10AM and call the night before.They did not call the night before and leave a message.Called yesterday morning 8:30 AM and said they would be out between 12 - 4.Unbelievable experience for the customer and displays a lack of communication between sales and service. We were looking for a leather sofa and small reclining leather chair. We found one at the Venice store where JT was so helpful but we decided to head to Sarasota to compare with other competitors. After visiting several other stores. we went into the South Sarasota Furniture Warehouse where James helped us find a small swivel leather recliner that complimented the same sofa as well as a small area rug. The delivery went smoothly and we couldnt be happier.

I bought this gorgeous 6 piece Espresso sectional and 3 tables. The tables though ended up being too big for my place, but that wasnt a problem since they property put them back on the moving truck and refunded me all the money for them. I am very satisfied and look forward to buying from this business in the near future.

After shopping at the fancy furniture chains in the area, I went to Furniture Warehouse. The prices were lower, in most cases for identical and similar items. The salesman was low pressure, knowledgeable, and helpful. Delivery was fast and the guys were polite and careful. We have gone back twice and had the same results.

Good selection & prices. Delivery was on time as scheduled and delivery folks did a good job placing furniture & addressing discrepancies. Will definitely buy from them again.

I brought my mother-in-law to this location looking for a reclining sofa. Jessica was our sales person.She showed us what she had in our price range.Was helpful but not pushy. When the delivery date got pushed back, she called my mother-in-law up and explain.She was so upset due to a grandsons upcoming visit she called me. I called Jessica, she was amazing she actually realized I would be calling.Said she would do everything she could to make this happen for me.Today I got a call from my mother-in-law she heard from Jessica her sofa could be delivered as early as tomorrow. A week before anticipated thanks to Jessicas attention to her needs. To quote, my mother-in-law, Today is the best day ever thanks to Jessica! I cannot thank her enough for being so considerate. My husband and I have just made our fourth purchase in a year at the Furniture Warehouse in Venice. Everyone that helped us, J.T., John, and Jessica were so nice. Other staff members were also very friendly during these processes. They are very knowledgeable without being pushy. It is the first place we look when we are ready to make a purchase. We highly recommend this store!

We were looking to furnish our new home and Jessica was a huge help in finding everything we needed. The store had a lot of different and unique styles to select from. It was delivered shortly after we ordered it, they came and set everything up and picked all the packaging and took it away. The rooms look beautiful and we are very pleased with the product and service we received.

I never write bad reviews but this has been a thorn in my side for the last 6 months. Terrible quality furniture!!!! Dont waste your money on this junk. Purchased multiple pieces there 6 months ago. Our mattress is great but our platform bed has broken TWICE. Took a week + for them to come fix it the first time, come to find out they put the part on the wrong truck, then the delivery installers were nowhere to be found after my delivery time frame expired. They showed up 40 minutes later. Very very unprofessional! Now my bed has broken again, the cheap particle board cannot even support the weight of a king size mattress. Its been almost a week with no bed again and here I am waiting still. Will NEVER shop here again. Spend your money elsewhere on quality furniture and save yourself the nightmare I have been dealing with.

We’ve shopped a ton of stores the past week and Furniture Warehouse was hands down the best in terms of selection, value and sales help. Jilly Martini was fantastic - patient, helpful, creative. We’re going back for more furniture.

We have bought alot of furniture from furniture warehouse but, are last purchase was a recling livingroom suit and we have had nothing but trouble with it . The sofa started separating on the back after 4 months and now both ports have quit working. We have called to have it repaired several times, then with virus it was postponed so now trying again to get it repaired. In June it will be a year sense we bought it and its been broken almost the whole time . At this point we are ready to return it and get a refund or store credit. This livingroom set is if poor quality and they just need to come get it.

I was pleasantly surprised with Furniture Warehouse. As a transplant to the area I did a little research and some of the reviews were not great. I went to The Furniture Warehouse and had the best customer service, better than some of the higher end furniture stores. I was able to shop without pressure and it was affordable. My delivery was awesome, they set-up everything and cleaned up. I would highly recommend EVERYONE gives them a shot and support a local business.

Never did they keep us informed, we had to call them and now they claim we didnt call to schedule a pickup of the JUNK furniture. And guess what else, they say we arent entitled to a credit!!!! Call us and make this wrong a right....your people made the mistake and were RUDE, no NASTY. My friends told me not to shop here, they were right!

I recently moved into the area. I have purchased furniture from Furniture Warehouse on a couple of occasions. Both have been positive experiences. Jessica, Jane, and the rest of the crew were very helpful every time I went in to look, shop, and then buy. I had them deliver one time and I picked up on another occasion. I would recommend paying the little extra for the delivery. They set up the furniture and take away the boxes. I did have one issue with one piece I bought. Customer service was reasonable to work with. They replaced the damaged piece and I am a happy, satisfied customer. I would definitely go back again.

I had a good experience at the South Sarasota Furniture Warehouse. We went there once to view prices and items and then came back to make a purchase after comparing other furniture stores. The associate, Jim, was knowledgeable and open with us regarding the items we were interested in. We chose the interest free finance option and the furniture was delivered prior to the initially schedule date.

We went in looking for a mirror for our hallway. Found one in.the clearance section that was inexpensive and works great for where we want to.put it. They were very helpful and someone asked us if we needed help the moment we walked in. We have bought other furniture here and will check them our whenever we need any thing else.

Venice location staff were friendly and helpful with furniture purchase. Delivery was fast and the delivery men were pleasant, answered all questions and had a smile. Happy with my new chair and plan to buy in the future. Look forward to the new furniture warehouse building/location in Venice.

Jessica has helped me select the correct mattress for myself with several back issues She took extra time with me for over a month and I greatly appreciated her help and expertise. She also helped me stay within the monetary means I had to work with. The other sales people were genuinely friendly and kind. Sales person was very helpful but not pushy. Returned with a friend who also liked the furniture and prices. Was able to avoid the delivery charge by picking up my 2 chairs myself. Received a coupon for 10 % off next acessory purchase. Wish I had shopped here earlier.

Have been into the store twice and Jane has been fantastic in helping me find and coordinate living room furniture. Prices are very reasonable and service if great. So glad I found Furniture Warehouse.

Unorganized display of furniture. However, decent furniture offered at a price I am willing to pay for our shack at the beach. Purpose for visit was to purchase a 2nd chair exactly like the one previously purchased 2 years ago. Also added accent cabinet for entry way after getting measurements. When I returned to the store to finalize this purchase, I discovered matching end tables. Will probably buy 2 of those, too.

Lots of options for building rooms.Had a terrific young man working with us as we were wandering and building lists fir our needs.

When we bought a bed in May of 18 Jessica helped us. We were outfitting our guest bedrooms after the new year (7 months later) and Jessica remembered us and worked with us again to get exactly what we wanted. Timely delivery had us ready for our first guests. Thanks Jessica and Furniture Warehouse!
