Larry is a no nonsense kind of guy. His attention to detail is superb and his knowledge of Toyota trucks is impressive. I had an issue with my 1993 Toyota pickup 2wd that I couldnt pin down. Larry helped me isolate the problem and helped me locate the parts. Hes a one of a kind mechanic. Im definitely coming back.

I was doing an engine swap on my 4runner and needed an alternator bracket, as the one on the original engine went missing. Called these guys up and they said they had a donor engine and can get me the part. Went to pick up the bracket and they gave me all the nuts and bolts plus both brackets, for only $20. Definitely would recommend these guys.

There is a reason Yodaman is so busy. Larry is a legend and he knows more about Toyota pickups than Youtube. He is a very fair business man and gives solid advice. I can always trust that anything they do is quality. I like the employees that he has chosen to work under him. They really love what they do and that says a lot about a company.

My son has a Toyota 4runner that needed work done on it. When he asked around about who the best to go to was, yup it was the Yodaman! And he did a great job. Did not try to over charge him or get him to make changes he did not need. Now my sons vehicle runs great. The one thing I would suggest that tends to happen at a lot of mechanic shops is they dont find out if the person they are talking to knows a lot about cars in general so they will use lingo that maybe is comfortable for them but not so easily...used to by others. Know your audience a little better...without making them feel like they are total dummies. It is a balancing act for sure.

ABSOLUTELY DO NOT TAKE ANY VEHICLE TO THIS DUMP, I paid for a basic tune up and a cv joint replacement and unknowingly ended up receiving more problems when the vehicle was returned to me, an OBNOXIOUS LOUD whistling noise that was NEVER previously there and he had no idea what it was or how to fix it and refused to do any further work to fix the issue at that point. Said to me just wait and see if it goes away, I dont know what it could be. You would think if you owned your own auto repair shop you would know how to fix and not further damage vehicles...I waited a while and the sound ceased to go away, so I took it back to inform him so he could fix the problem that he created. He EXTREMELY RUDELY refuses to work on my vehicle saying its past the warranty period on his work! It had been less than a month at that point!! HE PREVIOUSLY MENTIONED HIS WARRANTY PERIOD FOR HIS WORK IS ONE YEAR!! This is how long he recommended to me to wait that long to see if the noise went away by it self...ENDED UP TAKING IT TO ANOTHER SHOP SHORTLY AFTER AND HAVING TO SPEND AN EXTRA 600 DOLLARS TO HAVE THE DAMAGE HE CAUSED ON MY VEHICLE FIXED!!! AND ENDED UP NEEDING A RETUNE BECAUSE IT WAS STILL OFF! Finally my car does not sound like somebody who does not know the 1st thing about working on cars or trucks was under my hood all afternoon..This is only one of the issues that came with having him work on my vehicle. Large scratch down to the metal on the front drivers side of my vehicle that was not there before and was never mentioned until I found out about it later. And left the interior of my vehicle covered in grease and the carpet full of dirt.Normally I would never go out of my way to write a bad review but this surpasses my worst expectations regarding running a business.Larry and his business is extremely unprofessional.. To say the least, I WOULD NEVER EVEN RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO MY WORST ENEMY, I cant even sum up how terrible my experience was at yodaman... Save yourself the rudeness and stressful disappointment and go literally anywhere else for substantially better service..
