How many of us have been angst ridden taking our car to a service garage for the first time? While living in the Oakmont community we naturally gave Oakmont Garage a try. From the first call to schedule service and all the appointments we’ve had since 2016, there has never been a moment of concern. Vaughn is not only excellent with cars and trucks, he is also a calm presence and a pleasure to know. Robyn, who manages the desk is efficient, friendly, and a warm presence. We moved away from Oakmont to Sonoma and still call on Oakmont garage for scheduled maintenance on both of our vehicles. Reasonably priced, too.

Have trusted the people at Oakmont automotive with any vehicle I had. They have done a number of jobs for me and I was always happy with the outcome and price. They are the best I can find around here.The mechanics and front desk are all very knowledgeable and helpful. but Its getting pricey lately. $60 for an oil change. No safety check tire rotation just drain and change $60.Also they used to talk to you. Now you just pick it up and leave. Feels more like the dealership than the friendly local shop where you feel like you know them.I am pretty sure that my car could use other issues but this way I have no idea what they are.I would trust these guys with my car and have for 3 years. I just wish they would talk to me about my car or put it on the invoice. I would trust them with any car I have, but Ill complain all the way to the cash register.

As a woman, Ive spent ~ 40 yrs searching for automotive repair service providers where I wont be ripped off, simply because of my gender. My recommendation to all women who dont want to get ripped off, take your car to Oakmont Automotive. Their service is extraordinary. The care and respect they show their customers is without equal.

The owner was very helpful to me

Brian is the real deal. My BMW was running rough and stalling. When I brought the car in, he checked the engine error codes and recommended a one hour diagnostic to determine the issue.Ten minutes after I departed the garage, Brian called to tell me he was able to fix the problem by securing the air intake for the engine which had loosened from the attachment.The car runs better now than it ever has without being charged the diagnostic fee. Thanks Brian!
