Four score and yesterday I traveled to the att san Rafael store! I met with a man named Ivan. I received the greatest service from an att employee I have ever received. I Shall be returning, post haste, to purchase a new fangled I phone 13.

I have always used Verizon for my carrier.But not anymore.When I got my new iPhone recently I called the Novato Verizon store prior to going up wanting to clarify some things- I waited on hold while being “transferred” for 20 minutes before having to hang up the first time, then an additional 40 minutes- both with no answer.(the weird synthesized electronic hold “tones” that played on automatic loops every 10 seconds was so cringeworthy I set the volume to the lowest setting)I ended up driving up and the store was packed.There was no where to sit and I was told there was about a 30 minute wait.They had no idea why the store phone wasn’t answered…yet the glances between them said they did…and I figured out why.During my 45 minute wait I never heard a phone much less saw anyone go into the back area to answer calls.After an hour with four people still ahead of me - and not a word or glance from any of the employees-I decided to head down to the AT&T store in Northgate One.I was the only person there…which initially gave me pause for thought.But the minute I walked in both associates were instantly greeting me with enthusiastic demeanor and smiles.I said I’d been a loyal Verizon customer for over a decade, specifically because I thought they had better coverage with more towers- although I’d grown weary of their customer service.They explained that they are not only equal in coverage but offer more high speed data with unlimited plans, has an edge with 5G and their prices are always lower than Verizon’s.I told them my current plan and handed over my phone. One of the associates “Jim” sprang into action and came up with the same plan for more than $10 less.I shared my parents joint current cell plan - and the fact that their bill seemed high -and after comparing them -Jim quoted me AT&T’s top tier plan - for $60 less.More people trickled in during my short 20 minute visit- and each one was given the same excellent treatment and customer service with no pressured sales …plus there were plenty of chairs….lol..Bottom line:In this day and age with quality Customer Service far and few in between, I’d rather paymore for a product or service with decent assistance then pay less and dread the interaction.Luckily with AT&T - I am now paying less for the exact same plan and am assured I can walk in at anytime and receive great Customer Service.Thanks Jim!

I came in this morning right at open to surprise with my kiddo with a long awaited iphone for her birthday. The store quickly became busy and Ivan was the only employee at the time. He was calm, professional and managed the additional 5 customers that walked in with an ease you dont see very much anymore in retail. Ivan is amazing. Not only did he make the whole experience easy and quick, he also saved me a few bucks on my bill. We came in for one phone and to add a line to my att account, and left with 2. I was planning to upgrade in a few months, but the experience was so good with Ivan today, I decided I wanted today to be the day. Ive been a customer with ATT since 1995. I usually get good service, however its worth calling out todays experience as exceptional.

Switching from an Android to iPhone, they walked me through the transfer process and even stayed after hours to ensure I had all of my questions answered. if you want the royal treatment come to San Rafael!

Ivan was great. He was the only one working in the store and helped me and three other guests at the same time.

We were having a mishap with our AT&T bill, and we had previously gone to another AT&T’s location, where we found some not very helpful employees. We ended up going to the Northgate AT&T because it was the last AT&T store that had the phone we desired, in stock. We were so happy we ended up going there instead because we met an extremely helpful employee, Zach, who did more than help us, and answered every question and concern we had with the upmost honesty and kindness. He was happy to accommodate us, and took probably 2 hours to fully help us and make sure we were satisfied. We left the AT&T store feeling very pleased with our purchase, and very happy our problem was solved. Thank you Zach!!

I would like to give credit to Zach in the Northgate ATT Store who helped us this morning. A friend that has suffered a stroke two weeks ago couldnt remember the passcode for his phone. After repeated tries entering the passcode incorrectly, his phone was locked and he could no longer use it. When he did remember the code of course it didnt open the phone because it was locked. Zach was so professional and courteous to both of us and helped reopen my friends account and get the phone unlocked. It was very obvious to me that Zach realized and had been trained to know that often older folks need extra attention.

I lost my phone recently in the Northgate shopping center. I was so happy to see an AT&T store there. However, I forgot the password to my Gmail account and could not log in to the Find My Phone app. Zach was patiently supporting me when he had the idea to put a SIM card in his or the companys phone and add my cell number to it.Then, he could enter the pass code into the borrowed phone and I could change the password. We then located the phone through the Google app. Zachs ingenuity saved the day!
