After giving this store a glowing review in the past, my experience today SUCKED. I pulled up at 7:05pm (Thursday) figuring I gave myself plenty of time since they closed at 8:00pm (according to Google AND the sign on the door....). Door was closed and locked. Woman behind counter ignored me like she couldnt see me. I took 2 pictures of their HOURS (Still said 8pm with no notes anywhere they would be closing early) and made sure to use CAMERA FLASH so she knew I was taking a picture. Still ignoring me, I walked to my car to leave, she opens the door (Im thinking she is going to APOLOGIZE or tell me why they closed early) NOOOOO....she jumps in her car and starts her engine and leaves. She had multiple attempts to tell me, but didnt give a rats behind. Very sad. Boost Mobile stores are going to pot. My last few experiences here and Redwood City (as well as their throttling of what they say is UNLIMITED Internet.may have me heading back to T-Mobile....
The lady was very nice but all the signs on phones were in Spanish. I was in San Mateo, CA. Plus my new phone loses connection while talking. It goes dead
The staff was helpful .. the store was clean and I got my business handled relatively quickly.
Came in the other day to upgrade my phone was very easy the person that helped me was very professional and hopeful highly recommend will be back covid friendly
Came here to get a SIM. They couldnt figure out what one I needed for my phone and said they would have to call customer service. I called for them instead but then they charged $15 for the ten dollar SIM. Markup!
Just financed a new phone from Boost Mobile Im very happy with my new phone 📱😁. The staff working there was very helpful to and the phone service is very good for the monthly service plan. Thanks Boost!
Quick n Great service, Curtious people...
I called to see if they had the mobile hotspot device for on the go, because I am a student. Currently living in San Francisco. It was sold out in Sf. So I call this boost mobile and specifically say, “Do you have the hotspot device in stock.” The female at the store said “yes.” then I said. “Is there any additional fees that I should worry about.” She said “no”.I spent time out of my life 2/3 hours traveling there and using Lyft from the Millbrae Bart station. Just to finally get there for her to tell me in person. About the first months Payment was necessary for the device 50$, the device it self was 50$ plus the activation fee of 30$. I have that amount and could have paid it. But a little courtesy and heads up would have been greatly appreciated. All I said was “Okay” then left. Thank you boost Mobile, you and your employees are wonderful. Have a blessed day.
Im changing this review to one star after entire very bad experience in total over a 3 week period, and yesterday was nail in coffin as saying goes.Boost Mobiles claim of slowing down the internet to a crawel during peak hours is false! Their internet speeds are always slow like this, even when your data usage is next to nothing. The few good reviews are either staff or people who most likely didnt realize that the great speeds they were getting, was only due to the fact their phones were connecting to nearby wifi. Shut wifi off and give it a try and you will see what I mean.$200 phone, and even a cell tower half a mile from me and calls wont go through, including emergency when needed! Again its found out what good service I was getting, was only because my phone was using wifi, and not BoostMobile/Sprints network. If you need a phone, especially for emergency situations, stay clear of Boost Mobile.Yesterday I was at South city bart. The station that the attendant is almost always never to be found, which is bad because the equipment there can be deadly, and a few years back a bunch of people had to force one of the fare gates open, because it closed on a baby carriage, crushing it with baby inside and the required attendant was nowhere to be found. The faregate was forced open and baby removed unharmed luckily, but the issue of safety and injuries has gone unaddressed to this very day! I myself got injured over a 14 year period by those faregates, even with staff there not paying attention. As for yesterday, was passing through in my new power chair when the Fairgate closed on it while passing through. My two children had already gone through, and the pressure these gates use when closing was so extreme, it crushed my power chair as if it was a tin can. No attendant at the south city booth as usual except for a will return card on the door tbat had expired hours earlier. I tried calling for help with my Boost Mobile phone, as did my children, and calls to both bart and 911 did absolutely nothing! This should not be an issue, especially with multiple towers and cell boosters in the area, not to mention was above ground and out in the open. I was able to get out in time, even managed to save my childrens birthday cake from getting crushed, but chair didnt make it. Frightening experience when a phone that should work, not do so at a time like this! I wont be waiting 3 months to find another carrier. My phone, and my childrens failed to work when they should have! Im going elsewhere!
Great service
Good place for family plan and phone deals
