My wife and I were on a cross-country road trip and just before we left Cali for home, our truck started to shake on the highway, so we took it to the nearest place we could find. Luckily, Specialized Auto Care Center was that place. Sunny arrived just as we did and spent a whole day’s labor sorting out all of our issues. Without him, we’d have been stranded with no hotel reservations in an unfamiliar city, but he got us back on the road, same day.

Had oil change for our other car here. It says ~$50 on their site, but ended up paying around $83 just for the oil change. They replaced both air filters at a price ~$160 with $90 labor, a bit out of normal range I feel. Staff we met was friendly though. And you can drop off your car and come back in a fairly acceptable amount of time, so that’s a plus.

I was able to walk in and out on a Sunday with new brakes/rotors/calipers in just a couple of hours. The owner, as well as the other mechanics, were friendly and professional. The repairs came with a 3-month warranty and theyve got my car running smoothly. They even topped off my fluids and fixed a couple of loose panels for free!

They replaced a tire for me at 10pm on a Sunday and waited for me to arrive before closing. Awesome service!

We had a car break down @ the Half Moon Bay Beach on a labor day holiday. From providing a fairly priced tow guys contact info to providing detailed text messages [with videos!] about diagnosis Sunny has been a great help. He pays attention to minute details and suggests all the options. Turned out my timing belt was stripped and while fixing it, he noticed oil pump as well as camshaft seal leak. He was upfront about added labor cost but suggested and explained better to fix else Id have to pay labor again in future if done as a separate fix. Ended up spending lot more than I intended to but hopefully thats extending life to the car. All in all great experience. Will recommend to everyone. Thank you Sunny.

Sunny has been the greatest guy I’ve ever worked with for car repairs, and the charge is very competitive and reasonable!My car had problem with the front lights, and I also replaced my engine oil and break pads/rotors here, he is nice and has done a great job!Because the light bulb is off market, I bought them online and brought them here. He also suggested me to keep the unused stuffs, which might save me some money in the future. I will visit here again if I need other services. I have nothing to complain and definitely recommend this place!

Excellent customer service and thorough job. Quickly figured out the problems and were very reasonable about the pricing (actually quite generous, they could have charged much more). Very trustworthy and made sure I agreed my car was fixed before handing it back. Id certainly come here again for any other car issues.

I pulled in yesterday with a very flat tire and asked if I could get some air and a quick check to see if there was a nail causing the issue. Im 9 months pregnant too. He barely looked up from his TV show to tell me to use his air machine myself, which costs $1.50 even though it should be free and he refused to turn it on for me when I asked. I left and went to Woodside Auto and Tire just 2 blocks away and they were amazing! Go see them instead and spare yourself the aggravation.

Fast and high quality work with a fair price. Ordered and changed the alternator in 7 hours. Another good thing is that it opens in Saturday and Sunday!

Excellent service! I had to get something fixed on my truck last minute and this shop was open weekends. Not only did they get my truck in immediately but the owner was extremely friendly. Would highly recommend this shop for any auto repair.

After mountain biking up off of Skyline, I was coming down towards 92 when an alternator belt pulley went bad and the belt came off in shreds. The symptoms showed up quickly, including no power steering, battery warning light on, then engine temp overheating. Luckily it was downhill all the way to W.Hillsdale Blvd, where I exited so I wouldnt burn the engine to a crisp. Luck striked again that this was the first business I saw off the highway. Pulled in at 3:30pm, drove home with a new alternator belt and pulley at 6pm. I was charged $468. I dont know how much this repair should cost, but I dont feel ripped off and definitely feel lucky based on the circumstance. Five Stars!

Sunny was awesome, helped fix my brakes in less than the time quoted, and was available in the evening. Friendly and professional. He said they are moving to a new location at 1400 W. Hillsdale in San Mateo, Ill be looking for them there!

Went there on a Sunday. The owner welcomed me and solved my three problems quickly (oil change, tire pressure, stuck glove compartment). I was out in 20 minutes, everything fixed. Super fair price, charged me just for the oil change. I certainly recommend this repair shop and will come back again.

Needed to change front struts on my Mitsubishi eclipse 2005, had parts, complete struts assemblies for the quick change, Sunny was the only person who without extra questions did everything quickly and for the fair price, I mean I know how much this labor costs, I can do it myself actually just was out of my tools in the moment, but others who I asked for the quote, they told me some unreal prices. Good job, you got me as a returning customer.

Yestrday I stucked with my car.Friday, Oct 4th at 7pm.He was the only place which open till 10pm.Once I called him and explain him the issue, immediately Sunny ( the owner) care and gave me a fair towing company that will tow my car to his garage.Once I arraived he treated me well, started to work on my problem and made it professionally and really fast.He charged more than a fair price for new alternator change and new battery.Thank God I found that guy. Honest and humble, gives you reminder of what human being should be like.Number 1 in the bay area, from now on he is definitely my guy for future maintenance and more.
