I dont usually leave reviews... I think this is my first.I bought a major brand lift kit for my Jeep here. While deep into the install at home I found a factory defect. One of the mounting brackets was unusable and due to the nature of the install couldnt be replaced by the factory.I saw Eric at 4WP about the issue. Although it wasnt a 4WP issue they helped my by fixing the factory defect. Eric showed excellent professionalism and customer service.Thank you Eric and 4WP team!See you on the trail!

Very poor service I will never go back and I will let everyone know not to go there. Eric was very unprofessional hung the phone never called me back. I called back 3x for a quote and he never got back to me. There over priced and not willing to budge. DISCOUNT TIRE TOOK CARE OF ME. I will never shop here again. I felt like I was begging for good customer service.

Very slow service at the counter. Told me my vehicle would be done at the end of the day, but time I got home they called said it was done had to turn around and go back, not to happy about that could have waited asked to have brakes looked, at that wasnt done. Didnt save best tire to put on spare

DONT GET YOUR TRUCK WORKED ON HERE! Where do I start. I got a lift installed here a few years ago. Loved it, thought it was great, decided to upgrade my truck and get a bigger 6.5 inch lift put on. When they were installing the new lift they noticed that the bolts on the upper control arms were completely damaged and not safe to reinstall onto the truck, and whatever shop installed it over torqued them causing them to be completely unusable. Once I had informed them that they were the shop that had installed the lift, (they even posted pictures of my truck on their Facebook page when they installed the original lift), they immediately changed their story and said the damage was caused due to wear and tear. In order to get my truck back, I had to pay for new upper control arms, which I was fine with paying that fee because I needed my truck back and didnt want it sitting on their lift for at least a week and a half waiting on those bolts. On top of that they wanted to charge me the installation fee due to an error that was caused by them. I tried to reason with them and communicate how I do not feel like I should have covered the cost of a bad installation done by their shop. They offered me a small discount but that was the most they were willing to do. To top it off, I had brought some wheel spacer for them to install on the rear wheels in order to even out the front and rear tires due to the new lift, and they never installed them! They kept them! The only reason I had got them back was because I noticed they were missing. When I called them about it they said you can come by the shop and pick them up. I didnt even get an apology for not installing them or keeping them, and now i had to waist more of my time to go pick up something they never installedTHE BEST PART…. NO PUN INTENDED. When I asked why the spacers weren’t installed, the experienced mechanic, that “didn’t” over torque my original bolts, said it was because the truck didn’t look like they needed it, and the fronts were wide enough. THESE SPACERS WERE FOR THE BACK OF THE TRUCK. (my wheels are only 10 wides..)ANYWAYS, this was a great 4wheelparts experience. Ill never be back.

Do your own research, get facts on proper install, then double check thier work! You may find something.

Shop did a great job installing Eibach leveling springs on my 2021 ZR2. Good price, great alignment and answered all of my questions and addressed any concerns I had.

Not much inventory, some staff were extremely nice others couldnt be bothered. Went in to buy 4 new tires, told me the absolute lowest they could go was 1200 and that since everyone does tires there is no reason to bring the price down (makes no sense) called discount they said they would order the same tires and install them for 950. They were BFG All Terrains.

Dont waste your time! U can shop in Walmart but these guys have the whole place masked off in yellow tape. Then to have an attitude when I ask why cant I shop. Typical entitled shop.. just do mail order as to these guys, my opinion tho

This place is sorry... Waited 3mins for them to pick up so I can be put on hold for 17mins and never get to me. 20 mins wasted, I can just imagine how long they take to get u a price if they ever get to you!

If I could give the San Marcos 4wheel parts location no stars I would. Ive had my truck for about 3 months after they installed, wheels, tires, lift kit, etc. It was about time I got my tires rotated so I took my truck to my trusty mechanic shop. Upon removal of my wheels, a tech approached me and showed me that all of my wheels were chipped and a stud/lug was completely striped. I had called 4wheel parts to let them know about the situation, I was told I was going to get a call back in 10 minutes but it took 2 hours. After this we had come to an agreement that they would replace all four of my wheels and replace my stud. After dropping my truck off I was confident that I was going to get my truck with new wheels and a fixed stud. They had fixed the stud and had chipped my new wheels AGAIN. The exact reason why I brought my truck in!!!! I was told that this is unavoidable and that they cant install my wheels without scratching them. Keep in mind they are $1,200 wheels and they are telling me that they will be scratched upon installation. I had my new wheels (3rd set) installed at tire/wheels installation store and not a single scratch. I reccomed not doing business with these guys, I sure as hell wont!!!

Took a bit longer than expected to get the lift installed but the work was great. No issues after a month or so and have given it its paces. Staff are friendly and very helpful so worth a trip for any of your off road needs.

Sketchy, they sold and installed an upper control arms by camberg that wasnt even welded together, they totally powdercote over a non welded arm. I didnt see it until I took it to my mechanic, I bought quite a bit of stuff too. They either dont know what they are doing or ripping people off.

Totally disagree with the other two negative reviews. The guys here are great and very honest. I just spent an hour with Juan discussing the lift for my truck. The guy was totally honest, told me about the sale coming up and didnt try to talk me into anything that I didnt need. He listened to what I wanted made great suggestions and offered multiple solutions at different price points. 4 Wheel Parts has a customer for life.

Very helpful. Great pricing. I knew ahead of time that they had the best price on the wheels i wanted. After they gave me a quote, I went home to check prices...lower prices than i could find anywhere and no haggling.

Felt bad going here as they made sure to talk down to me regarding any products they do not carry.This isnt high school where you have to front being cool. We are all off-roaders who want to have a good time. The employees here are some of the first offroaders in my many years of doing this that I have met that are this condescending.Their attitude towards basic questions (and I am not being trite or making a scene, literally just asking normal questions in a normal tone) has made my decision to buy parts from either ORW or online.4WP. Your employees attitude has lost at least 5k in business I have taken somewhere else my self, and at least 10 other individuals who I have recommended to go to other shops (most of whom bought lift kits, tires, light bars and winches).

Ive always have received great service in the store with all the staff no matter if it was for a $5 part for the CB or the smittybilt wench I just purchased. All the staff is very knowledgeable and helpful and I just love this store maybe thats why Im there every week ordering or picking up a part or looking for an answer to a question. Good Tires

I had taken my Jeep for a new suspension to TE Motorsports and my Jeep was sitting there for almost four months waiting on a locker for a G2 differential. When I went to 4WP I spoke to Rick and they had it done in less than a month. Thanks to all the crew at 4WP for an awesome job.

Purchased 4 shocks from them 4 years ago. Was told lifetime warranty on shocks but if failed would have to pay for installing. Fast forward one shock is leaking and they are not backing what was sold. Charging again for shock and installing and said I could send into Bilstein. Not satisfied will not recommend.***3 weeks later, no response from the owner. It seems that if they wanted to ensure satisfaction, they would reach out to me. At this point, I can only assume that they do not want to be bothered with my insight and I will be disregarded.

This locations customer service or lack there of. Man, just calling this location for quotes is bothersome. At times I cant beat the prices they have when they have sales, but as far as installation goes it wont be at this location. The Riverside location blows this place out the water. There have been only a few guys in okay with when I walk into the store other than that, this place is only convenient because of its location. Id rate it at 2.5 within the location and a 4 for the overall company itself when I have called them directly on the toll free line.

Walked in prepared to spend $3000 to $5000..Met a short haired blond dude at the closest desk to the entrance, dont remember his name as he didnt offer it. When I asked him if he had time to come out to my truck and talk about a lift, new tires and rims, he seemed bothered at my request, like he could give a crap. Once outside, he barely looked at my rig and was not really interested in helping me choose the right rims and lift kit...I left feeling very disappointed at this employees attitude...Thought maybe he was sick or something. After reading other reviews here, talking to coworkers, and people at the shop that won my business, my feelings are that this business, 4 wheel parts, just sucks in general when dealing with customers. Went to another shop and was pleased to spend $3300.

Had a duel battery system installed and it was done like a child did it. The switch was falling out the dash. I asked how the switch settings worked and they didnt know omg lol really. Plus the tackometer speedo light bar and lockers didnt work when i went to pick it up. So i left it there not happy saying fix it i want it back like i brought it in everything still working. They offered 250$ off the cost to get me to walk away. I did not. It took days but they got eveything they broke fixed and i still had to clean up the wiring jobDont go there be smart read the reviews

I ordered a roof top tent on the phone and it was ready for pick up the next day. They got me in and out as soon as I got there. No problems.

Terrible customer service along with false information about their products. Unless youre there to spend big money these guys will treat you like a begger. They sold me defective parts and denied it saying I was my truck until I had my trucks dimensions measured. Turns out it was the parts.

Many one star reviews for a reason! I purchased wheels, tires and a leveling kit from these guys 3 years ago that ran me nearly 4K. After moving back to San Diego and using my old set of tires to make the drive I called them back up to put my good set back on. After spending 4K there you would think they would wave the $45 for a tire rotation. Its to bad there are not that many 4X4 shops in town but nevertheless I will never suggest these guys to anyone. Poor customer service! Ill be glad to pay another shop.

Very disappointed in their service and quotes. ESPECIALLY THE SAN MARCOS STORE! We purchased brand new tires and wheels from a private owner who had just bought them from 4-Wheel! He worked for Procomp who supplies this very now unreputable business, and informed us at the buy that these tires were still under warranty through Procomp (again, who supplies 4-Wheel) and if they needed balancing or rotating or service there would be no charge as per the warranty! These people at 4-Wheel Parts apparently ONLY care about the money! NOT warranties or their suppliers reputation! I will never purchase anything from them again for my 2014 4Runner! EVER!! And Ill be the worst advertisement theyve ever seen, via word of mouth about this experience on social Media! As well I will be contacting Procomp to inform them that 4-Wheel Parts does not hold their side of the deal when it comes to warranties. I advise anyone to think twice before even visiting this store. Do yourself a favor, look around Im sure you can find a place with more integrity!

Decent pricing but hugely disappointed in recent customer and greatly disappointed in shop service! 2.5 hours to mount 4 tires on wheels and on truck! Fkn ridiculous! ! I thought I would be a loyal customer and have them mount my tires (that I purchased from them) on new wheels I bought, It took 2.5 hours to mount. They dont know what there doin when it comes to steering alignments either. I had to return 3 times for them to finally get it right. They returned the truck to me with a severe right pull, twice and after they test drove it snd called it good. Thr shop work fkn sucks. I will not be returning to them for work or purchases anymore. Nore will I recommend them.

2012 Dodge Ram 1500JBA Ceramic Coatd HeadersWas told that my truck would be ready on Thursday afternoon once I dropped it off but then was told that the guys there had no idea how to put the headers on so theyll send it to another affiliate shop, warrenty and price would not change. No big deal, was told it would be ready Friday. Get a call today and was told it cant be done until Monday. When I take my truck to get worked on somewhere I expext to be done in the time I was told or be compensated. Got none of it. Will be get my trck and headers back today and will be taking my bussiness somewhere else.

Dont buy from this location. The employees are rude and they dont do what you ask them to do on installations. Please if you have to shop from this business just dont shop at San Marcos he will not be happy. Also they overcharged me $10 and made me wait all day.
